Intro and my project

Hey guys and girls, my name is Ella and i'm new to the forum.

I'm currently trying to make a game on RPG maker MV, which will involve side view style battles and my plan is to use models from daz3d.

First of all, I hope i'm posting this in the correct section and if i'm not i apologise, I have never joined a forum before to post stuff so yeah i'm new to this whole experience (nervously typing lol)

So far, I have built a good portion of the map on RPG maker MV, I have created a plot (which i won't disclose just yet) and of course I have rendered some poses from daz3d.

However, I'm really struggling to complete this project on my own =(. I have spent weeks and weeks googling, youtubing my questions in hopes of finding the answers but i'm really not having any luck ! =/....It's getting quite frustrating to be honest =(

With that said, i did accidentally stumble across a game on youtube which is exactly what I'm trying to make! What a coincidence!!

I don't know if i'm allowed to post the link to his channel so i'll just explain roughly what I want my game to involve.

1-) It will be an adult game, 18+...(soft-core however, no sex or nudity).
2-) It will involve females fighting males, or possibly females fighting females ??? Or maybe both!.
3-) Sexy wrestling holds (such as scissorholds, bodyscissor, headscissor, facesits, arm-bars, breast smothers, etc... with attractive models from daz3d), rather than having a cartoon character dart forward, slash with a sword and dart back... or cast some fire spell...

The reason why i want to make this game like this is due to personal experience....Here it goes (blushing bright red like a friggin tomato!!) Me and my boyfriend do a lot of wrestling together...He loves being trapped between my legs, or any other hold I can pull off and to be honest, i kinda get hot over the thought of dominating him...

So the game itself will involve you playing as a female character who will get into battles (1v1) with male opponents. You get to use a variety of sexy moves to weaken them, then you finish them off with a finishing move. Or the alternative, you play as a male, trying to survive battles with sexy female enemies.

That's just a rough explanation of what I am trying so hard to achieve.

If anybody likes the sound of what i'm trying to make, and wants to work with me to help me achieve this goal, please let me know.

I aim to release the game on here, for free of course. I am not trying to make profit or anything in any shape or form. I simply want to create a sexy wrestling game. And who knows, if someone is willing to work with me and i learn how everything works, I will be more than pleased to keep making games, implementing peoples ideas into it and releasing it here.

It's fine to link to someone else's work as long as you're showing it as an example.

I'm not wild about Daz3D models, personally. They tend to go into Uncanny Valley really quickly. If I were going to grab models off the internet, I would try finding some MMD (MikuMikuDance) models. There's shitloads of MMD porn out there. Like this for example, if you're not familiar with MMD porn.

The concept looks fun and it's not overdone.

I can't help you directly because I'm working on a project myself. But I have considerable experience with Rpg Maker and I'm also using Daz3d on my project (feel free to check it out, but it's kinda hardcore, be advised), so if you want help on especific subjects, like how to use canvases, lightning tips, iray and shader settings, how to make certain events on RPGM, etc, just ask. I'm not sure I'll be able to answer everything, but since I started, I've been learning a lot myself and I wouldn't mind sharing that.

Oh wait, sorry, I skimmed over the line about no nudity or sex. But incase it matters, this is generally not how I would interpret the term "softcore". Softcore I think of as nudity, but no insertion, sometimes masturbating. Maybe what you mean is "ecchi", here are some examples: https://myanimelist.net/anime/genre/9/Ecchi

Just checking, if you're using RPG Maker MV, have you seen Yanfly's Engines and SRDude's Tutorials? These two covered most of what I would have wanted from RPGM.

But fair warning, my experience with the RPG Maker series over the years, (shit, since 2k3 was new) has been that trying to force them to do something that the developers didn't think you'd want to do will eventually come screeching to a halt, or become more difficult than just programming it yourself. MV is better about it, but if it was me, I would consider finding a Unity RPG engine instead. I can't imagine what hurdles you would need to jump over to make this work in RPG Maker, when it would just be a matter of a simple state machine in plain programming.

I have been fiddling with rpgmaker mv and ace vx since march and a little earlier. Making my own free game atm. If you have any questions or need any help maybe I could lend a hand! I have more experience with the programming side than the artistic side so maybe we can help each other!
