Does anyone here mod Skyrim?

Or, at least, what's everyone's experience with skyrim, modding or not?

Okay, actually the title is a bit misleading, it's a poll, but I was asking for a purpose. If apparently no one here mods, as in creates mods for Skyrim then I was going to let this go.

Could someone please respond?

I don't mod Skyrim, no.

I actually used to play Skyrim a lot and mod it a bit, but after my failure at getting SexLabs to work, I just gave up because it just pissed me off after I had wasted so much time on it. I think I probably just messed up somewhere.

i wasnt able to get the dirty animations working the way i wanted them to

I've done some Skyrim modding.
More in line with programming than anything like new content creation, or model manipulation.
I can work with the Creation Kit's built in map-editor and stuff. I just can't create NEW things.
Eg; Dark Soul Altar and am "reviving" Vile Art of Necromany
I'm not artistically inclined in any regard, and I work better with code.

I don't, though I do know of a really good site for lewd mods that might be able to help you if you're looking for assistance.

I'm addicted to Porn Skyrim, a lot!

I thought about learning how to make new content for it more than once but still haven't found the time to dig into it.
So, I use its mods but I'm unable to create new ones

I...might have gotten skyrim on one of the super sales where it was like, $5 recently purely because of the porn mods I'd heard about. Do you happen to have any suggestions?

And plus, they lag up your papyrus script a lot anyways and most of them are unfinished or buggy.
Mayyyybeeee you'd consider passing on and sticking with normal stuff. I've decided to remove most of them.

I beg to differ! A lot of them really aren't that bad. And yeah, they're a bit script heavy, but that's not surprising.
It's animation. Of course it's going to really rely on scripts.

Also you're saying that "life isn't all about porn"...on a mostly porn based forum...

That's a bargain! Imo you've done a great thing to buy it!

Now, here's my suggestion.
If you've never played vanilla skyrim I'd suggest to have at least one run through it without mods, except maybe for those that enhance its graphics.
I think that vanilla has more than a couple of reasons to be the way it is ( it's been GOTY), and all of them were awesome back in the '11, so it's definitely worth a try just the way it is.

You'll eventually feel that vanilla lacks " something", after hours of play... that's when you want to kick in the mods!

I like my Skyrim heavy modded, so that the experience while playing is totally different from the original.

I'd suggest these mods, the more your hardwares are badass the better:

SKSE, you won't go far without this.

Frostfall
Realistic Needs & Diseases
Perkus Maximus
Obis and its enhanced version Obis Redone
Sex Lab and from here, everything that suits your devious needs.
Maybe you could even try some mods that further enhance combat.

One of the things I love the most is Death Alternative, coupled with its porn version.
Basically, why should I tolerate to die and reload every fucking time I screw up, when I can simply watch sex scenes instead and then get back to playing? We're not living in the 90s anymore, Arcade is dead, and so should be death in single player games ( imho).

I consider those as " must haves", they really change the way the game feels.
Remember that, unless you're familiar with mods, there are several tools that can make your life easier when it comes to install new mods; I use this: Mod Organizer.

About the mod team, let me know how the thing evolves if you don't mind!
I've heard that Steam now allows modders to sell their stuff.
I don't agree with it ( unless we're talking about things like Requiem, complete overhauls) but I can deal with it... I guess modding to earn a living is now an available option.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll be sure to bookmark all of those for downloading. I think I might take Off's advice though about the vanilla run, just to see what he means about the game being the way that it is.

Then I shall mod it and enjoy the other options the community has given it~
