havent gotten the mods working smoothly yet but my notes are below

if you guys have experience with modding or just wanna talk about random skyrim stuff hijack away

SKYRIM (WIP)

mod manager:
Nexus Mod Manager

framework:
Skyrim Script Extender
- the readme is very helpful for installation. You need to either move the files manually or compress the files for use with Nexus Mod Manager
- Download SKSE as a 7Zip archive and extract
- Copy the loose .dll and .exe files into your Skyrim folder ( C: > Program Files x86 > Steam > SteamApps > common > Skyrim) look for TESV if you are unsure )
- Copy the Scripts folder into your Skyrim/Data folder.
- From now on, launch using skse_loader
- note: src is for modders.. you can probably delete it.

Fores Animations
- download the optional creature pack as well
- install the "behavior" mod first, then install the other two. Hit "No" when prompted to overwrite
- go to Skyrim > Data > tools > GenerateFNIS_For_Users. Right click and Run As Adminstrator
- check the SKELETON arm patch
- click ???
- you will have to run this each time you install new mods (at least those involving animations) so maybe set a desktop icon

me neither! the whole process is a bit intimidating.. and i had to completely re-install at least five times for screwing everything up lol. i see the potential for a very high quality h-game, but i haven't been able to run skyrim combat mechanics with much success. not sure if its just me doing it wrong, or if skyrim mods are in their infancy and dont work well yet. i had reasonable success with fallout though. that list is working if you ever feel like modding
