I've been wanting to give another stab at trying to do a ST/SW crossover recently, but since I've discovered that I do better when writing with others, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a collab story.
I've already got what I think would be something of a different idea than what most stories have, but if people are interested in different ideas we could always do something else.
The main focus would not be on technology (because that is both whats ended up making me loose interest in my own attempts and tends to result in flame wars) but on Character development, story growth, and the interactions of those from both universes.
Here's the basic idea I have.

Raptor of the Rebellion
Premise- Romulans of the Romulan Republic aiding the Rebel Alliance in exchange for help returning home. Set after A New Hope, but before Empire Strikes Back
Summary- A Romulan Republic warship is sent on a search and rescue mission into an area of space bordering Sela's Romulan Empire. Instead, they find pirates of unknown origin, and pursue them back to a strange rift in space. In the ensuing battle, the rift is destabilized, and the Romulan warship is left stranded in alien space...until that is, they are found by the Rebels.
With few options, and the Romulan Captain unwilling to side with a regime that is reminescent of Sela's Romulan Empire, they join the Rebels in their cause as they seek to bring freedom to a foreign galaxy, all the while seeking a way back home.
