Hello everyone.
Despite my post number, I am an old explorer and creator of the LoK forums, it's just another Nickname.
Here is my question :
I really want to create something with the KH:BBS game. But I can't figure out what.
I don't talk about a game in the first time. What I want to do is to create something good and interactive. So, static images are not in my mind. I don't code, but I can be helped if someone wants to.
I really love this game, and I would express the feelings and the sensations of this game, as a tribute through this project. So, KH:BBS fans are needed!

That's the point. I want to make something, but don't know what. Shouls it be a platform game? A sim game? A more "arcade" game? It could be anything... What seems important is to respect the original game. I like the menu and all the stuff you can find inside.

I'm asking you : what could be the greatest KH:BBS hentai game?

If you don't know what it needs to be, you can't pull it off.

I know how to draw and make good pictures. I have a few basics on as2 but that's all.
Yeah, I don't know exactly what to do, but that's why I'm asking you all. I have some ideas, but they might not be the best choices. So I wanted people to think about it without interferring with my opinion.

Let me put it straight:
You've come in here and said, "Hey guys! I want to make a Kingdom Hearts fan game but have no ideas, no technical skill, no design sense and am unable to write so please come up with my game for me and then make the entire thing while you're at it. It's okay though, I can sort of draw."
Now does this sound like a request you would help with? In case you're as retarded as you're making yourself out to be I'll answer for you: this is a request so completely childish and moronic that it insults every person who has the skill to fulfill it, so no. Nobody is going to help. Maybe a few idiots of your caliber will give you a few kind words and wish you luck but that's it.

And don't you fucking tell me it's not like that.
-You don't have any ideas that you've shared, so you have no ideas.
-You don't even have an opinion of what your game should be except that it needs to respect the original game and then offer THE FUCKING MENU SYSTEM as something important from the original game to respect. You don't have any game design sense.
-You admit that you have no technical skill.
-You are unable to use basic English in your post which is supposed to convince people to help you with your project. You can't write.
-You think it's realistic for this project to have animation in it, which means you've never done animation for a decent sized project, which means you're going to be useless in the art department as well. Or maybe you felt that it was necessary to clarify that a game is not a static image. I can't tell because, again, you can't write and you haven't shown me anything to suggest that you aren't that brain dead.

Just because you have 1 post doesn't say you're a newbie. Look at what you wrote. Isn't it childish? Is it a polite and good answer? So please I don't need people like you. I hope people like Ivan-Aedler will come to show you what a good discussion is.

So, you say I haven't any skills. Since you haven't seen them, it's not true niether false. But i already made flash games, animation, graphics and a lot more things.
Second, talking about retarded people : have you ever read the title? It's a reflexion, first, not an interview for a job.
Last, have you ever heard about the rest of the world? You know, those countries who haven't english as their native language? Take a globe and check : there are plenty, and excuse theme for not having a master degree in english.

Let's start with you a bit here. First off, despite the forums being predominately written in the English language, we here at Legend of Krystal are tolerant of all races, creed, nationalities, and most importantly languages. I broke my back for this forum for three years straight trying to make it accessible to all, and I don't need some ignorant person saying that your English has to be perfect when people such as myself are of different nationalities and language, and struggle to make sense of those that use colloquialisms, poor syntax, and use words improperly. In the future, feel free to help correct our language, but either do so in a constructive manner, or do so behind closed doors.

Second off, despite him making the effort to write in your language, no where did he say he wants others to make the game for him. Last I checked;

Planning is what goes into making something successful, and this is the early planning stage, so you can't say he can't pull it off if there isn't even a plan. On a side note, you assume animation is hard, but in a day you can learn animation and do it quite well. So stop pretending you know things. Introduce yourself then. Don't act all condescending, then call someone childish. Who cares if you know more people, doesn't mean you get to brush him off for his (while rudely put words) opinion, especially while it rings true in some regards. While he is extremely insensitive to the English language, telling him not to post here anymore is out of line.

The OP may not have the power to enforce the absence of someone from his topic, but asking someone not to post in a given topic anymore violates no forum rule I've read.
I'd say the same even if Jerkface had been quite civil, but I'd especially expect the OP to be perfectly within his rights in current circumstances.

Well, that's a whole lot of comments about me. Let me put it this way: if this thread had any chance of contributing to this forum in a positive way I would have been civil. But it doesn't.

Let me tell you a little story of the time I've spent lurking here. I've seen quite a few threads like this and I thought that they were troll posts. But then people would come in with words of encouragement and a few mediocre ideas and the OP would start seriously discussing it. And then there would be a massive realization that nobody who took the thread seriously had the ability to do anything that they talked about and everyone would lose interest leaving only the facepalms and cringes of people who had a clue about game development in their wake.
But then the 'Want to suggest/request a game idea?' thread came along and got stickied. The number of threads like this dropped and I thought that just maybe, it might be worth it for me to participate here. But now we're back here. Absolutely nothing has been accomplished in this thread, and I'm not going to believe it for a second if you tell me it's because of my posts. Sismicious has given no information about his project, has given no proof that he is capable of accomplishing any part of it and has shown that he is massively incapable of being of use for most of it. I'm tired of these useless threads being met with respect and praise because they are the worst thing about this forum.

PS: It's fine that you speak a different language, but if you aren't able to write in English then you aren't able to write for an English project. This is in the same way that it's fine to be wheelchair bound, but you aren't going to accepted for the baseball/soccer/football/[insert sport here] team.

EDIT: Don't worry. I'm not going to post in this thread any more. I'd just end up repeating myself and bumping the thread.

Ridiculous or not, it can be both entertaining and perhaps a learning experience to dream about making that one awesome game. Just leave the threads alone or address your worries in a calm and civil manner. Any more is completely unnecessary and will probably just cause drama.

You agree to the ToS when signing up for this website, and the rules include being civil and treating people fairly.

I agree that the code of "civility" or "etiquette" would be incorporated in the rules of forum conduct, whether by the TOS or just by the rules that encourage you to keep your discussion "constructive" and without personal attacks - or even, in the last resort, by the general suggestion that the rest of the rules not explicitly written should be "pretty common sense".

Alright, the situation has resolved itself: The offending party has said they won't be posting here again and I'm hoping he holds himself to his word. I agree that we really shouldn't be treating new blood like this. Maybe questions to help them flesh out their idea or about their qualifications would be better suited. Either way, it's done and I will hold jerkface to his word with the reminder that he is a newbie on LoK as well. Just let the it drop and return to subject at hand

I'm a major Kingdom Hearts fan, been playing five of the games in the series (although I've only finished 4), including 1; CoM; 300/something; 2 and Coded. (Coded being the game I've yet to complete)

Any game that's Kingdom Hearts based MUST have a well-written story. It is the main element of the games. :3

I wish I could say more than that, but since I've yet to play BBS, I can't. :/

Not sure if you know about this but Gorepete had a go at the KH series. Gore made Kingdom Hearts: Light's Darkness which can be found in "Gorepete's Big Thread of Everything" so that might give you some ideas. But since you want to make a KH game i guess it has to be an RPG so coding would be the main skill required here...hmmm.
About the hentai part in a KH:BBS game. I guess it could be implemented into the story somehow. Since The Unversed are the manifestation of negative emotions of Vanitas than I guess pleasure could technically defeat them. It is a stretch but it could work if you really want to make it a H-game.

Yeah, the FLA is available, feel free to use.

That was more or less going to be my concept if I developed the game further. Aqua was trapped in the shadow world and the only way to defeat the more powerful heartless/unversed was with an emotional burst (aka orgasm). That way the game could play with you running around blowing everything up and blowing everything else.

Sadly for KH:LD, I liked the way the mechanics were shaping up so much that I turned the concept into Sakyu lol!
