For Flash Developers

Postby Biles » Fri May 18, 2012 6:00 am

I'm doing this just to gain some insight from game developers that use Flash. I feel it's important to know what versions incase some of us needs to make legacy versions of our flash work file for other developers who still rely on older version of Flash. Also, I've come to realize that those of us that use current version are unable to save files in older format versions.

((Shit, mod please move this topic to the more appropriate category. I screwed up here. *facepalms*))

I still program in CS5, since that's what I learned on and it's working again (most of the time). I have CS4 available as well, but I usually prefer to just save as CS4 from CS5. >_>

CS5.5, but if you have ever watched my stream, you know that I absolutely hate it. I plan on switching back to CS4 because 5.5 is complete garbage that can't even add a keyframe to a classic tween without locking up for 2 minutes.

CS4 all the way. CS4 is lag free for my system and has a nice look to boot.

Been using CS6 tonight... it is pretty awesome so far. Feels stable like CS4, but with CS5's functionality. The difference in performance was immediately noticeable.
