Currently contributing to an html5 / WebGl based game engine

already supports animations, basic buttons for navigating between areas, and layered scene bgs
resources are configurable via json

planning to build it with the assets entirely swappable, so that you goons can build your own games (no programming required) when I slink away from this project

I picked a tool that lets the game build to windows/mac/linux or web.

I think I'm having trouble building the windows deliverable? Might need help with that? Also draw a bit.

Hey, I don't actually have permissions to reply to messages yet.

I'm working on the non-flash Fertile Wilds game.
I don't have a genre on it yet. I'm going to start with rigging all the pieces necessary for an adventure/vnovel game, and if I get that far I'll start thinking about what it could be next.

I can read code in most commonly used languages, and javascript, html, and xml. I can debug.

I like to read the underlying code and fix spelling and grammar issues in English. I did one translation of a Spanish language game into English but translation is not my forte.

I freely admit that I am not creative enough to write the story of a game, but I do know enough about the English language to fix errors and make someone's story better.

I am also passingly familiar with DAZ3D if someone needs some rendering help.

I'm open to doing anything on the text writer segment, so long as it's a concept I'm interested in. (Well, I don't have to be interested in a concept to edit it, but I'm not going to spend time writing story for an idea that I'm not a fan of).

Hey peoples! I know, I know, It’s been half a year since I updated the thing. Well, While I was almost finished updating it, my font got into some weird Japanese font and I had to restart my computer...Without saving all the progress I made updating the community enlistment chart. I’ll get to this page of the thread sometime soon. If I don’t, then kick my butt and tell me to do it!

Maybe you wanna add a Game Design section? It could include the following under categories: Level Design, Mission Design, System Design, Combat Design, Multiplayer Design, Puzzle Design, Narrative Design

I actually run a discord for adult game developers, there's writers, programmers, artists, animators, musicians, sound effects specialists, voice actors, translators, marketers, etc. on there, and we're at about 900 members now.

Hello anyone

Mostly self taught at 3D modeling, texturing, and ringing Characters at a decent level in Blender, and currently learning programming through Godot. I have flash cs6 and know how to use and animate character rigs.

I'm not sure if this skill is sought out but I have experience in managing a team of 14 individuals for an animation project in college for 10 1/2 weeks. My main job as manager was to stay in contact with every member and insure everyone was proactive and provide in the progression of the project.

Make sure you post some examples of your work. I'm also doing Godot and would love to have some Godot buddies around. I have done programming off and on for many years, Game Maker, Flash, Unity and RPG Maker. But 3D is my passion and Godot is definitely my favorite.

Managing a team would be an excellent skill to have. People don't seek this skill as much as they should, but it's important. A lot of projects here fail because a single person tries to take on too much work, or because there's a weak link in the group that doesn't get something done.
