I dunno of any service like that, besides Skype, so I can't really help ya there.

As for pixel art, I wouldn't mind that at all! It'll be rather cool to see that!

I have no idea either.

I was looking around at different types of fighters when I stumbled on something called Divekick.

It’s an interesting game where the players only have one move…….a dive kick. This turns fights into an intense game of cat and mouse as you try to bait your opponent into attacking so you can counter attack them.

I bring this up because I was reminded of mando’s post. Perhaps we could do something similar and have all the attacks be moves meant to stimulate the opponent into becoming horny, at which point they would lose the fight or be open for a finishing move. Just a random thought, with fewer moves it would lighten our work load. Also happy holidays.

Happy holidays/new year. If the control scheme is minimalistic, that would help people who aren't actually good at those kinds of games get into it in addition to lightening the load designing the game all around.

My money is personally on the pixel art, but I can see why the vector art could do well.
Also, I've created the new poll (I've recorded the old one here so I don't forget it):
A Time traveling pimp has kidnapped these people and the winner is the only one allowed to return to their own time.
I'll expand on it at a later date.

Possible story intro:
You awake in a dreamy haze. It's an odd feeling you have, as you don't ever remember falling asleep, yet alone, what you were doing before you woke up. You don't remember falling asleep in this place, you don't remember why your clothes are scattered around, and you don't remember why you did come here.Come to think of it, you could barely remember anything about "you". Slowly, you manage to push yourself up, and try to search the room for hints.

Instead of answers, your are instantly greeted by questions.

This "room" can barely be classified as such because of the ancient stone floor and ivory pillars. Beyond that, there is simply a domed sky, carrying out the daily routines of the universe at a speeds which normally would have taken lifetimes to witness. Galaxies expanded and contracted like water; stars were born in an instant and died the next; and planets appeared, withered, and died, leaving only dust in their wake. All of this was happening in cycles to irregular for you to detect, but you always knew they existed. As you contemplated how entire systems rose and fell before your very eyes, a calming voice interrupted you.

"Greetings!" The voice smiled.

You turn to face your speaker and...can't recall a single detail about him. You stare at him incessantly, but not a single feature sticks in your mind. It unsettles you. And yet, you somehow feel calmed by this man. It's as if he's some sort of guardian that you have wished for your whole life.

"Welcome to the Time-Zone." the man continued.

What is the time zone? You ask, as if driven by an outside force.

"This is a place where time holds no power," the man continued. "Here, one may indulge in their every desire and, if they are lucky, will even be granted salvation.

Salvation?

"Yes." The man said. "If you should reach the pinnacle, you will be granted a single wish, of any desire. Of course, there is a price."

What is the price? You blurt, too eager in the thought of an ultimate wish, whatever it maybe, to care for subtly.

Gracefully motioning to a splintered set of stairs behind him, the man explained, "Beyond these steps lie a series of ancient challenges of an...adult nature. Should you pass them all, and defeat their guardians, your wish shall be granted."

And if I fail? You ask, with the first hint of caution you can recall.

At this, you clearly remember the man cracking a wicked smile.

"You will become a slave to the carnal whims of time and it's servants."

At this point, you should have refused his challenge and demanded that you were released. At this point, you should have turned and ran, heading for any direction. At this point, you should have jumped off the edge of the platform, facing whatever fate lies beyond. At this point, you could have done anything. At this point, you should not have said:

Yes.

"Good," The man said, while materializing something. "Now, allow me to introduce myself. I am Neo Clessidra: Gatekeeper of the Time Zone, and your first challenge. Shall we begin?"


And that's it so far.
As a side note, I think we should add multiplayer, mainly because a computer can only get so much satisfaction from a computer in any fighting game; even the sex derived.

Great intro, T-Man!! We'll definitely have to do that. We'll make it like twisted metal but with fuck fighting and each char gets a diff ending!!

Especially since time travel also opens up the many universe paradox where all of the endings are equally true, and there could also be endings for if none of them succeed.

So...what should we do for character roster?
I mean, even if we did do all original characters, we could try asking permission from the other LoK people who've made original characters to see if they'd be ok with them showing up as secret unlockable guys (like in Mortal Kombat with that lizard guy).

I was thinking about submitting my own characters if you want, although I'm not sure what you would want for the game.

Good Idea on the multiplayer. Maybe in a virtualised cloud environment or a site the players could exchange a player Id or something like that, so they can play against each other by a computer to computer connection or a server or something. I'd vote for that.

Go for it. I've got maybe 5 characters here (only 4 have concept art, and only one has a general profile) and Terrantor!!! created one that's oddly brilliant for a porn game, but small rosters tend to get stale very fast.

k, cool. Do you guys wanna pixel em or you wanna do your own styles? Anyways, I'm working on collision. i'm going sonic method and putting multiple hit points on a single sprite. It'll load one image with all frames and I'll input an algorithm to handle all animations. That way you can use a loader to install your own sprite sheets.

I got two characters, ill see if I can make some concept art of them later:

Xela:
Race: Zarkana (alien)
Age: 75 (in human years)
Breast: F cup
Hair: purple
Height: 6foot 5
Skin: green/scaly
Eyes: sclera and iris are black
Xela is the last surviving member of the insect like Zarkana race. A plague spread across her planet wiping out her entire hive. Xela was still in her maturing cocoon at a remote part of the planet at the time and was spared her people’s fate.
As a birthing drone she is driven by her instinct to reproduce and travels the galaxy mating with any creature she can find in hopes that one of them will be compatible enough to impregnate her and save her race. Will the tournament finally provide her with a suitable mate or are the Zarkana doomed to extinction?
Having inherited her people’s hive mind and all the collective knowledge that comes with it, Xela is an intelligent and tactical fighter, preferring to study an enemy from afar before striking at a weak point.
As a Zarkana she is naturally equipped with a variety close and long range weapons. These include acid, razor sharp claws, poison tipped fangs, flight with a pair of moth like wings and pheromones that can drive almost any Species (male or female) into a state of crazed heat.

Abigail Cain:
Race: human
Age:29
Breast: D cup
Hair:Black
Height: 5 foot 4
Skin: ebony
Eyes: brown
Once known around the world as the famous 70’s kung fu action star of the “Sister Fighters” movies, Abigail has fallen on hard times. At the height of her career she enjoyed a life of luxury but her box numbers plummeted when the high octane explosion filled action movies of the 80’s became popular.
With no one willing to hire her she was forced to star in porno movies to make ends meet but with her getting up in age she knows even this little fame will soon come to an end. Is this tournament her chance to make it back to the top or will her lust for the life of fame and glory lead her to an eternity of deep throats and glory holes?
Though down on her luck she never lost her pride as a fighter or her list of cheesy 70’s one liners. She is stubborn, egotistic and prone to rush head first into a fight or dangerous situation without thinking of a plan B.
Abigail is trained in several forms of close range combat including 70’s style’s Kung Fu. Her preferred weapon is her signature gold plated staff dubbed the sissy-fier, (named after her signature finishing move from her movies) with which she is skilled at disarming and disabling her foes with.

Cool on both accounts (can't wait to see what Xela looks like), and I suppose we could have more than humans now...Hurray!
Anyway, since I feel bad for not giving her a picture, here's Mary Annette:

Name: Mary Annette
Race: Human
Age: 21
Height: 6'
Weight: 42 kg
Measurements: 29", 25", 29"
Blood type: O
Hair: Red
Eyes: Green
Likes: Master, Master's Orders, others enjoying Master
Dislikes: Not being with Master, people not following Master
Mary Annette is simply the name Master gave her after he had become pleased with her. She doesn't remember anything from before she met Master, just that everyday Master makes her swear to how much she loves him. Master gave her an incredibly flexible latex suite, which allows her to express her love to the fullest of her mobility. She only moves when Master tells her to, and he even gave her wrist, ankle, and a neck cuff to ensure that she sleeps well. Master even gave her blinders to prevent her from seeing anything other then what he wanted, and headphones which block out all but that which Master wishes that she hear. Mary Annette is not the only person who loves Master, as he also has a dozen other girls who bend to his every word. No matter how outlandish Master's request are, Mary Annette will always do them, as Master's word is absolute.
Her attacking style will be very fast, and flexible, with an emphasis on dodging an holding. She has small chains she can use to bind opponents, and she is always ready to make them love her Master.
