Just finished the proof of concept. A few comments:

First: I really like your presentation. I mean, I was a bit worried when I saw that the title page had been stolen from... that one Warhammer Classic game, but between the rain, the sound effects, and the individual faces for all the red shirts and general graphical polish within the RPG Maker engine, it's a minor quibble at best.

Second: ...I have no idea if you screwed up the battle system or not, since, you know, level fifty main character and all. I WILL say that it doesn't seem QUITE as nastily complicated and stupid hard as the battle in Tarot Quest that made me drop that game like a sack of bruised potatoes.

Third: ...The sex scene was... eh? I dunno, that kinda thing doesn't really do it for me, though it wasn't offensive or anything. I DID notice that the first slide featured a completely different woman from the later two.

Fourth: Took me a while to figure out I could walk on the gold bars, since they're usually impassable terrain in these games. I suppose that won't be a problem in the full version when you have to fight the guards at the gate anyway.

Fifth: I really hope you were exaggerating about having to fight all the guards before entering the boss's tent. That's a lot of guards, and the people you're playing are so powerful that every one of those fights is going to be more loading screens and cruft than actual gameplay. It's grindy, time-wasting nonsense, and since this is clearly the Pre-Game Overpowered Romp Thingummy, the player's not even getting money or XP in the bargain.

Sixth: The script could use a general layer of polish all around. Nothing game breaking, just... little things, like not capitalizing "I" or weird sentence structure that could stand to be revised a little. Again, polish.

Seventh: I know nothing about the RPG Maker engine or how easy or hard this suggestion would be to implement. But, please. A run button is ever the gamer's friend.

Eighth: ...That was a lot of complaining, and I'm sorry I didn't add in more positives. I'm interested to see what you do with this, and even though this little sneak peek was... small, to say the least, I'll continue to follow along.

I'll change it later, was just so until I have time to draw an actual title and make a logo which I've come up with ideas, but then again with a project this big it's one of those things that are not a priority.

The beginning is actually the past, and the main isn't really the main but instead his father, his older picture is sort of kinda effeminate too, but in the end he looks cool, here he is when he is older:

I can guarantee you the second sex scene (yes, because there's two) its always the same girl, ALWAYS. But the scenes might (probably will be changed, those are teasers).

SpectralTime Wrote:Fourth: Took me a while to figure out I could walk on the gold bars, since they're usually impassable terrain in these games. I suppose that won't be a problem in the full version when you have to fight the guards at the gate anyway.

That has been fixed since (I didnt know much about terrain setting).

You'll one shot them, that is all. xD

The boss will be moderately stronger, but in the end he'll just have a lot of HP so you can spam your spells, might even be a staged battle, but yeah this part is supposed to be a walk in the park introduction. Might even throw a battle tutorial.

Yeah, someone is going to have and do that for me but the way I learned, the I standing alone is always capitalized.

This character doesn't run to look cool xD

Don't worry, this will be exclusive to him.

Well, lets review! xD

So far, I like the characters, at least by the look of them, since we haven't had a taste of their personality extensively...

It was already mentioned, but you didn't reply to that, so I will point it again. Demetrius apparently has two combat rounds... When I read about it I thought that he attacked twice or something (which would be okay, I have seen it in other RPGMaker games), but it literally has two combat rounds... You select to attack or do some magic or whatever, and then you can do it again with him...
Is that really intentional? If it is, why? xD

The thing someone mentioned before about the girl not being the same in the H-scenes, I think (since I had the same impression) that he was not referring to both the "inside a tent scene" and the "near the forest" one... He was possibly refering only to the "near the forest" one, since the hair of the girl involved seems to change in color. I don't know if it is because of the transparent bodies of the thugs raping her being in the middle, or an effect of the light, but her hair appears to be a kind of grey-brown first, and later it is clearly fiery red.

And well... aside from all that, I have nothing more to say for now on. ^^
Keep up the good work.

Been delayed a lot because I've been opening each every single one of my *.tah files for 3DCG and named them each to figure out well, what each does. (Saving some HD space too, my 3DCG folder already has 17 gb's, FML).

I'm finally done with the spells guys! I can tell you right now that there will be 8 classes (not counting the characters that join your party for short periods of time) in your cast, I'm still deciding whether to make two secret characters or not... Anyway not the issue right now!

Hero - Boosts himself to deal massive damage.
Sorcerer - Uses elemental spells to deal damage to enemies.
Cleric - Uses white magic to heal HP and negative statuses to allies.
Dragoon - Learns skills from enemies.
Guardian - Uses defensive self spells and protects allies.
Fighter - High crit damage attacks.
Ex-Samurai / Rurouni - Relies on combos to deal the most damage.
Marksman - Uses guns to deal damage.

Hidden classes:

Shapeshifter - Transforms into a beast and attacks with bare hands.
Elementalist - Uses the power of cosmos to deal massive non-elemental damage. (Flare, Ultima, Meteor)

Classes are not interchangeable, each character has one and sticks with it throughout the entire game, they all have one special attack called limit break, more on that later.

Maybe you crossed the names of the two mage classes?

Because an Elementalist doing non-elemental magic while the sorcerer uses elemental spells sounds quite odd to me...

Either way, it seems like the mods are taking their time to approve my posts, so check back for my insights on the demo.

That would give an insane amount of spells to the dark mage but I'll think about it.

Pretty great, right now I'm at the scripting part which doesn't involve any graphical creation which to 3rd parties (this would be you) it sucks, because there's "nothing to show" unless you want to take a look at the database, spell names, names of items, etc. and I doubt that, huge spoilers.

However by creating this part, making the first important characters (I'm at 40ish right now, villagers won't have a fighting creation in the database) will make the patches come out way much faster, because it's just, add, create map, create event, select the content which was already created, send out in a patch, that simple, that order. What does this mean? Well once/if I get a team might take some more time because it needs everyone's approval, there's just as much time working on refining something than just simply creating it, however! While I'm by myself creating, I estimate that if I dedicate myself at least 2/3 hours per day to the game, I can release a monthly patch with lots of content.

Right now working on the spells (almost done), items, weapons, armors, and I think that's it..? Then I'll be off to balancing characters (This will take A LONG ass time, when I get some characters I can balance some out of the others, but since I switched every spell, it's damage, the items and the MP costs (this part is very important) I'll have to balance the characters around it).

And this is where you would require a tester, yes? They would be able to figure out if a character was too strong, or not strong enough, y'know? Balancing is a fine art. :P Hope to see more, and hit me up if you need a tester. Always willing to help in the future.

Pretty much yeah, lol, I think balancing the characters, spells, etc. is the hardest part, and I don't want to overlook something pretty obvious like, Final Fantasy 8, we're talking about Squaresoft here, let's not get it twisted, their human resource is HUGE, I understand how W-Item trick in Final Fantasy 7 can be overlooked, ok, but in Final Fantasy 8, you can do this: Buy 2 of item, combine it into another item, sell it for higher than the two items you bought to create that item, rinse repeat for infinite money, THIS is not the type of things that, unless it was on purpose, can be overlooked, this is a gamebreaking glitch.

If I was the main designer on Final Fantasy 8, whoever was responsible for checking basic stuff like that would be walking in a thin rope with high chances of getting fired. It's not childsplay, we're talking about the number one single player RPG creator company..

I don't know if I was clear enough in my last post.

What I meant was, simply change the names... make the one with the elemental spells be the Elementalist, and the other one be the sorcerer. I did not mean you to give one mage all the spells, which is what I gather you understood, by your response xD

Keep up the good work.

Guys, I'm going to "scratch" the project. I'll tell you why.

First and foremost, creating my own project removed A LOT of pleasure I had playing Elysium, Harem and Despair Labyrinth. I love those games and I don't want to see it happen, imagine you don't have apples, and someone gives you an apple, *HMMMMMMMM it's delicious*, but if you have a orchard, what do you want an apple for? I hope I get my point across here.

Also I'm 27 years old and my time isn't limitless, I wanted to make an RPG that wasn't just an H-Game, I wanted to make a great RPG, with an awesome battle system, and in the end, had hentai, it takes twice the effort.

So I am not "scratching" it per sé, it's just, don't hold your breath on it being released. I will work on it on my free time, but mostly, it will be just on free time, so I won't have the dedication to it that Kita, Ker and Seyser have. That is all.

The fact that finding so many resources for RPG Maker is so hard was the main reason, spell animations mostly, I had to do 70% of my animations in the last week in Photoshop/Image Ready, it's even hard to make a spell that raises your crit chance (for that attack only), I had to code for 2 hours to make such a script, among about 30 hours of scripting so far, and I can't waste so much time in something so simple.

That's quite a pity. :(

The first little preview looked promising. And if the effort you seem to put into helping out with or promoting the works of others was any indicator this game would have been simply incredible. (At least that's my impression from reading the threads of various other games.) :?

Anyway best of luck to you. So I'll simply be waiting very patiently if/when anything new comes along. ;)

Well, ignore the post where I said I'd abandon the project, truth is, I found myself drawn to the program over and over again until the point I realized, I've been spending 2 hours per day developing my game... =_=

I guess some people want to continue and are forced to quit, myself, I wanted to quit but my mind forces me to continue... =_=

Ended up doing most of the scripting and animations myself which is a paaaaaaaaaaaaain.

But most of all, I realized there are NOT that many English based RPG Maker hentai games, and well, you guys deserve more! I've been on the leeching side, and I know the feeling, so even if I can contribute with one game, that's what I'll do.

However don't expect my game to end just boom pow it's over, it's gonna be easily weeks of gameplay, well or 2/3 days if you no-life it.

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this but this post JUST appeared, meaning it was approved only recently.

Demetrius has a "double strike" type of in built thing as a test, so there's no two demetrius, he just literally attacks twice in a row.

About that. Where you intending for him to be able to attack with 2 different commands or where you wanting him to be able to attack twice when you select the attack option?
