I've tried being nicer about this sort of stuff...ok that's a lie, I'm just bored and tired of these threads. But until you get an artist, I don't expect much from this. Bluelight even said he can't do a lot of work for you, and if you plan on making this porn knockoff of skyrim very elaborate or long, it's going to be pages upon pages of code that Bluelight might not have time to write for you.

This thread is nothing more than every other damn 'I have an idea but need a team' thread. The only difference is you actually got someone willing to write your code for now.

You know the "easy way" is partly why the creative corner has been so popular in the first place? All the LoK sprites are designed to be re-usable, so there's nothing wrong at all with doing so to make your own games, as most can also be modified fairly easily by adding new armour layers and so-on.

Not that I mind ideas threads looking for help as much as trunks, but the number of people with ideas far outweighs the number of people able to do artwork and action scripting, and further outweighs the number of those people willing to jump on board and help a project. Not wanting to put a downer on it, but what about starting a little smaller; take some of the human models that already exist on the forums, work them into something more Skyrim-like, and make some simpler mini-games. Otherwise you'll find the project does what LoK has done and spirals into a monstrously complicated endeavour! Coincidentally, when LoK v0.3 finally sees the light of day, it may have a lot more of the capabilities you'd need to make a decent stab at a Skyrim-inspired game.

Also of note; the Elder Scrolls series of games, or at least Morrowind and Oblivion, have both had their own nude-patches and sex-mods surface after a while, some with a decent degree of sophistication, so it is literally just a matter of time until someone does a cock model for the dragons and dragon battles take a strange turn…

Anyway, just wanting to say that an Elder Scrolls-style game may be a bit on the ambitious side, but if you do go ahead with it then remember you can start small, and you don't actually need new models right away, as you can start building the game using Krystal and other suitably proportioned models as place-holders.

I completely unterstood what i was getting myself into. I know this stuff isnt made overnight and i am damn right determined to see this project through. This project, the way i want it to go, will easily take a year, if not more. As of now bluelight and i are still working on the STORY. This project WILL be done cuz im not going to put out a beta and tell people that like it "hey, i dont feel like doing this anymore" a few weeks later. Im not a quitter, never have been. With your suggestion about starting small, yes, we will start small, but with beta-alphas, not mini-games. The process will be slow, but it will be finished. And your suggestion about using LoK models seemed correct to me, and we will start out with that.

man gorepete sent you to me, but honestly, unless you are either a programmer or artiest, I have serious lack of confidence this tread will go anywhere. not to be rude, but I wasted time making sprites for projects that never got anywhere to many times. Make some progress then we will see. But seeing how you are just a writer, idk how you'll do that (by progress I mean game progress, not a story or plot or plan)

He means the project like this are always aiming higher than they can reach.

Personally i haven't played skyrim so i say fuck it lets make are own game "BASED" off of it.
We really haven't told any one any details about the game so i think they are jumping the gun on saying the project is to big.
Saying the project is likely to fail is another matter.
