I edited the original post and now I can't find it

Maybe I violated a rule, or maybe this is just how it works but here's what happened: I edited the first post I made. I have less than 10 posts so it needs moderation. Now I get a 404 when I visit the original. Does that mean it was deleted, or is that just what happens if you edit the first one and it's not approved yet?

No it's not that you broke any rules, it's due to your status as a newcomer to the site that "deletes" your OP to your thread and that it needed a mod to approve it. So it's the latter.

Apologies for taking a while to get to it, it should be back up and hopefully now you're free to edit it without mods having to approve any changes!
