Anyways, on to business!
My independent game studio is looking for a 2D Artist/Animator to work with us on a project over the course of nine months.
Unlike most projects that have started here on LoK- this one is fully funded from the get go.
We have investors and weekly milestones which must be met.
Now, while LoK is indeed an odd choice of recruitment platform for such a project, I've decided to give it a shot for a couple of reasons.
You see, this project, like many other projects on LoK, features content which is pornographic in nature.
This makes it a little bit more difficult to procure personnel for it.
In addition, given that our project has been inspired by multiple projects which got their start here, we figured pulling someone from this community might not be a bad choice.
We already have developers and other artists, we just need someone with 2D animation experience to round off the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
An individual passionate about both videogames, as well as drawn "adult" material
Someone capable of making simple and stylized animation and art
Lateral thinking, someone who is good at working with limitations and finding creative solutions
The ability to interact as a part of a team and understand the pipeline of the entire project
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Working alongside the lead artist in designing and animating small scenes
Helping out the lead artist with simple 2D art asset creation
Keep open and active communication with the team, especially the project manager
Produce work consistently and be able to stay in line with a schedule
EXPERIENCE:
We're not really worried too much about professional experience.
