free to use sprites backgrounds and other

If their is not a specific place, where all the free to use sprites, backgrounds and other stuff are needed to make these games, can it be on this page then, so it would be easy for new users to create games.

I have no experience in game making at all but i will be learning how and would like to make a legend of Krystal sim date game, and would like any help that is offered. I will be using unity and i debating about using the visual novel toolkit to help me make it.

Since im still learning, I dont know if certian sprites and background, go with different game. And if certain artist dont wont the work here so im just going to post, and make revision later
