GUI organizational help please.

The community split on the subject if you ask me. The fact is that they rushed the book and even some one new like me can spot it.

I will look up the book you suggested. I'm also looking for "Java Swing" by the same company as Head first since it seems to be the what the standers are at.

As I said in a previous post, Swing is a hellish library, I myself rarely use it. You might find it useful though, but be warned: if you found Head first Java hellish, swing will be hellish x2 for you.
