Hello!
Been lurking around here alot and I got to say there realy are some intresting projects up and about. But now I'm realy itching to get something started myself.
Or rather... start stealing. In my inability to draw and pretty much only have a fast course experience of flash (dated 2010) I doubt that I could make anything worth while by myself.

As of late I have been playing alot of old games, and with old I mean like '90s stuff. And I think some of you others know what I mean when I say there is a hell to go threw to be able to install them.
tho they would be pretty easy (in my head atleast) to turn them into flash. just record loops and screnes and bring together in flash. click in the right spot start the next sequence etc.
The game I most recently played and gave me the idea was "pinocchio" an italian porn parody of our belowed childrens tale... I can't find who created it since they call themselfs "game over" and well you all know how google see a search like that. aswell as that the site reffered to in the end of the game does not exist anymore.
(Note: I dont know italian, the game was just realy simple).

Pretty much what im woundering is.
Would there be legal issues about this?
Is it harder then it seam in my head?

You are being very vague. What is it exactly you want?

You seem to be talking about taking someone else's work, if you want to do that then please PM the person that owns the material you wish to use.
But you are now mentioning some obscure work by other people. Do you want to use that? Please explain better.

If you want to be taken a bit more seriously, then try as much as you can to apply grammar and punctuation to your sentences.
No need to make them perfect, but try at least.
So, think about what you want, write it down in Word or something similar, make sure it's understandable and then post again.

This is how you would do what you asked for. Record the scene you want from the game. Use Adobe Media Encoder to turn the Avi to an Flv which can be used in Flash. Then all you need is to import the video and create a button. The code in Actionscript 2.0 for the button would be:

on (release) {
gotoAndPlay ("something");
}

A bit different depending on what it would do but that's basically it.

It would be really easy to the things that you described, however, I'm pretty sure that you're actually asking for something a bit more complex.

@QuizmasterBos I just got to say that you're being really unfair about the grammar. A couple of words that was not spelled correctly but even then, you knew what words he meant. Let me count the punctuations (except the two extra ones)... 16, if I didn't miss any, 16. That's simply enough punctuations. The disposition is also alright, even I that don't have English as my native language did understand it just fine.

My native language isn't English either, but I try hard to punctuate everything and spell words correctly as much as possible.
My words are meant to keep in mind that when writing, English or not, you at least try and write in a neat and understandable manner.

I also clearly stated that even though most words are spelled correctly, I didn't understand exactly what he meant, it wasn't meant as an attack.
If I unintentionally hurt someone with my words, I apologize.

What I meant when I was being very vague is pretty much that I want to take old games that are hard to install, let alone play on newer computers. Then, turn them into flash games that can be accessed and enjoyed by everyone.

What I meant with other people's work is that this is a game that used to be sold for real money. However the company that made it does not exist anymore. I cannot even find a trace of them, can they still crate problems if I turn their old product into a freeware?

That and add speed click mini games where they used to be in the game. but more on that later. I want to see if I can get this to work normally first. I will start working on the first part of the game today.

I suggest you alter your opening post a bit so that it becomes a bit easier to understand for people new to your thread.

I wanted to be sure that I didn't do anything illegal if I posted it and turns out that if I do post it, I break a copyright law. The original company that made it, aswell as the company that bought the original one have not released the game to public use. So by posting this version of it, I would give away something that they haven't decided to do themselfs or not. There for breaking the law.
