Chapter 1: Gamma Unchained

Now that your classes had ended, you head straight from the college to the nearest Digimon Online Station. The building on the very edge of the square, and takes up the entire plaza, and even more, having caused the the roads to be repaved to go around the edge of the building, creating a weird bend in the road. The building itself is huge and mostly white, with gold etching, made to resemble circuits, and on one side of the double front doors, was the Digimon emblem, covering most of the left side of the building. Service was very fast, creating a distinct absence of a line, despite the large number of people entering and exiting the structure.

Inside, the building was practically spotless, as if the janitors thought it was supposed to be a hospital. The floor matched the outside walls of the building, having been made of white marble, with gold-colored etching on it resembling circuits, with the Digimon Emblem in the center of the floor. The only people ahead of you are a Lilac-haired girl with the palest skin you have ever seen, wearing a blue turtle-neck with a black skirt and matching jacket, who was, from the sounds of their conversation, being welcomed back and congratulated on her victory in both the recent Night Claw and Light Fang tournaments. She looked familiar, however you can't remember where, specifically, you should remember her from. Waiting patiently behind her was a boy with brown hair, wearing a blue bandana, white long-sleeved shirt and black shorts, and a second boy who looked very similar to the first, wearing blue cargo pants and a white shirt, with an orange vest, who was apparently incredibly excited to be there, slowly fidgeting on and off his tippy toes.

After the others had been led off by the clerks, another beckons you forward. After you've put down your name and username, she gives you a smile and leads you off down the same hallway as the three that were ahead of you, the hallway being lined with pictures of various Rookie-level Digimon, until the two of you reach a door marked "13", which the clerk opens, before guiding you to a spherical pod on a metal track. The pod had a oval-shaped door standing open, and was not unlike the numerous other pods behind it, which the clerk politely asked you to step into, with another polite smile.

After stepping into the cramped pod, and sitting down, the door shuts behind you, and the track turns the pod to face forward. Through the window, you can watch as the pod is taken forward on the track, until the room goes dark for a moment. Suddenly, a blue light fills the room and pod is taken forward at incredible speed, as if the track disappeared and the pod just started flying. The pod is taken through red and blue colored tunnels, twisting and winding, taking sharp turns, jumping up and dropping down, until finally after one more drop, you can see a grassy area down below, and the pod plummets down towards it. For a moment, it looks as though you're going to crash, however the pod comes to a dead stop, jolting you forward, but not hard enough to give you whiplash.

The pod rights itself, then opens the door, allowing you to step out. After you've exited the pod, a wormhole opens behind it, and the pod enters it, disappearing from sight, after which the wormhole closes. The Pod had dropped you into the middle of a small, fenced-in park, surrounded by a circular building, with a design similar to the building you had entered before, having the white marble floor with gold-colored circuit-like markings, and the Digimon Emblem in various locations. After entering the structure, you are met with another clerk, wearing a tight skirt and a suit top. She greets you with a smile and leads you to large, open room, and taps at a floating neon blue screen in front of her, after which a Digivice materialized into the air, before dropping into your hand. The woman explains that this is your Digivice, it holds all of the items you collect in the Digital World, and will allow you to contact other players, access apps, along with a whole host of other important things.

The woman then taps at the screen a few more times, causing a Digi-Egg to appear on the Digivice's screen. The woman explains that this is a special kind of Digi-Egg, it will hatch into an In-Training Digimon, rather than the absolute lowest level, allowing you to use it for battle as soon as you select it to hatch. The woman then wishes you luck before walking out of the room.

She'd been waiting for classes to end the moment they began, which while that wasn't uncommon for her, it'd be the first time she had solid plans after class. And the moment the bell rang and her fellow students were also on their way out at the professor's dismissal, Reina Shiraishi was already making a beeline for the door after gathering her things. "Hi Jane! I'm in a hurry, bye!" "I won't forget, Anne! Gotta go!" "See you tomorrow, Mike!" Of course, for someone as well-known and social as her, it wasn't so easy as simply getting up and leaving. Reina greeted and said a few quick goodbyes to a number of people on her way out, usually referring to them all by name and speaking informally. Popular girls like her had many friends.

Reina was rushing through the hallway when a voice called out to her from behind. It was a slightly whiny, high-pitched, and feminine voice. Reina stopped and turned to regard the newcomer who was running up to catch her. Once she stopped after reaching her target, the newcomer bent down to gather her breath after the run, clearly unused to exercise. "You... ran out so quick..." She lightly complained. The young woman then straightened herself up, revealing hazelnut eyes behind a pair of brown glasses. She also had chin-length auburn hair, with slightly tanned skin that complimented her signature color, and freckles. She wore the usual uniform for the female students of their college, and on her face was an expression that held her usual uncertain look, as if she was second guessing life itself. Reina always thought that it perfectly suited her and her archetype.

"Ah, sorry Chloeee~ I forgot about our arrangement today. Are you alright?" Reina asked with a slightly apologetic tone and a smile. "Uh... I guess, b-but... we're still on for studying, right? You said you forgot and you look like you're in a hurry..." Chloe looked a bit nervous (though she always did) as she spoke with Reina, looking away and hiding her hands behind her back demurely. "Ah, ha ha, well I actually sort of made new plans after forgetting, you see?? Today seemed a good day, so I was going to head out to register for Digimon Online!" Reina then clapped her hands together in a more dramatic prayer-like gesture. "Sorry again~ but tomorrow would work, right? Tomorrow night!" Though she worded it as if she were asking, it was more of a statement than anything, and they both knew it. Reina had already made up her mind. Chloe's expression faulted a bit. "... Okay." She bowed her head.

Truth be told, every night counted for their studying since a big test was coming up. While Chloe seemed the type to be smart, and she was, she had a lot of trouble concentrating while studying for tests because she'd feel too anxious and overwork herself. So, as she was so kind, Reina had taken it upon herself to help her study. "Hey, no long faces now, okay? You're gonna do fine on the test. If you want, you can study without me and just keep what I taught you in mind~" A hand patted the top of Chloe's bowed head, then the same hand moved to her chin to lift the girl's head up. "I'll make sure to study extra long with you tomorrow. You won't fail the test with me helping you." Reina beamed a wide smile at her. Chloe responded with a smaller one of her on. "Okay... thanks, Reina." The pinkette nodded. That's what friends were for.

With Chloe's worries assuaged, it was time for Reina to get back to her mission. "Well, I better get going now, but I'll see you... well, definitely tomorrow, but I likely won't come back to the dorm until after midnight? Oh, and if you're heading right back now, could you take my stuff with you? Thanks!" Quickly, Reina slipped her handbag off her shoulder and handed it to Chloe, who was slightly surprised by the sudden dumping of a bag full of various items into her arms. She then took a few steps back, preparing to take off. "U-uh, okay... then I guess I'll see you late—" "Yep! Bye!" Before Chloe could even finish her sentence, Reina took off on a run again, leaving the mouse-like girl behind to process what happened.

Reina practically burst through the double doors of her college, then she ran down the stairs and headed to the parking lot to get to her car. She found it in its usual place, got in, and drove off to the nearest Digimon Online Station. She was inside and in line in mere minutes, but it still wasn't fast enough for the excited girl. She mostly ignored everything around her with the sole exception of the purple-haired girl. She was cute... and, apparently popular. Reina tried to remember just who this lilac girl was, but by the time she decided to just go and introduce herself, her target of interest was gone. Service at the station really was quick...

It was her turn next. A clerk came to her, and Reina patiently followed through with the prerequisites before she was taken to the next room. The following hectic transportation elicited both surprise and amusement from Reina, who'd only felt like she was on a really cool amusement park ride, and the other registration work right afterwards passed by just as quickly. Just like that, she was left to her own devices in a digital reality, equipped with a new Digivice and a Digimon... well, Digi-Egg, but it'll be a Digimon. "I wonder what you'll turn out to be, little guy..." She looked at the egg on her screen, her finger just inches away from tapping it... but first, perhaps it'd be best to move somewhere more comfortable. Reina pocketed her Digivice and wandered off away from the building, hoping to find somewhere a little more cozy. This was going to be a monumental occasion! How could she just hatch her first Digimon in some office building?

Normally, Michelle wasn't one to rush out of class. But she was eager to get to the Digimon Online Station today. So much so that she forgot her purse in the lecture hall. After running back to retrieve her things, she took the bus to the station. She had quickly gotten the hang of using public transportation. Something she had never had to use before her mother cut her off from the family funds. After almost missing her stop, Michelle got off the bus at the Station and took her place in line.

While waiting, Michelle put on her headphones and listened to music as she waited to be seen by the clerk. She didn't pay much attention to the people in front of her, or the line for that matter. So she was surprised when her turn came up, and she had kept the line waiting for a minute before someone tapped her on the shoulder.

"O-oh! Sorry every one!" She apologized as she made her way to the clerk and entered her information. She used her old username from when she was a child. Princess Nurse was a bit childish but it just fit her well. With that finished, Michelle followed the clerk to the pods and proceeded to step into one. She had used one before when her mother allowed her to use one of them during a MAGAMI Corporation event, but the transfer process was always a bit intense for the student.

Once on the other side of the portal, Michelle greets the new clerk as she is given a digivice and a Digi-Egg. Michelle was only half listening to the clerk's explanation. She was too excited to finally have a digimon partner of her own. Practically giddy, Michelle hugged the egg close to her bountiful bosom in a show of delight.

Deliverance was excited to try out this 'digimon' thing that has been going around lately. Yet she also knew rushing wasn't going to do much when everyone else seemed to be rushing out to. So she methodically made sure all her things were in order, and when the initial rush of people had left, she calmly walked out of the classroom, then out of the college, then towards the nearest digimon station. She didn't really use public transportation, preferring to walk in the city and keep herself fit and healthy when she could, since she often didn't have much opportunity to exercise. Normally she would walk with one of her few true friends, but they were all doing something else today, what a shame.

When she finally made it to the digimon center, Deliverance put on the biggest smile she could and looked around, taking in all the faces she saw there. There was a very nice looking girl with lilac hair, perhaps she should see if she wanted to learn about god at somepoint... There were also a few young boys that stood out from the rest who seemed to be quite friendly. Deliverance went to go make conversation with the Lilac girl, but just as she started moving the girl went into one of the pods, and the opportunity was gone. Oh well, there was always next time. Deliverance decided to just wait patiently in line for her turn in the pods. When it came her turn and was ushered into one of the pods, Deliverance was practically shaking with excitement. What will she see, who will she meet? Who can she teach? So many questions she would soon find out.

After some of the weirdest feelings she's every experienced, she was inside the virtual world. It was definitely different then the real one, not just in looks but how it felt. Like there was a stiffness in the air and the gravity was just very slightly different, but only enough to be barely noticeable. Shaking these strange feelings off, she went to the clerk and greeted her enthusiastically, looking them over before a strange device suddenly appeared in her hands. A digivice huh? What a strange name. After getting the explanation, she began perusing through the different digimon available before starting on one called Tokomon. Deciding it looked adorable. With a egg in her possession, she gave the clerk a hug out of nowhere, thanking them then running out of the building to hatch the egg.

As classes let out for the day, Sera let out a groan and let her head fall down into the open book on her desk. She had never been academically inclined which made the already arduous task of studying law even more difficult, but this was the path she had compromised on, at least for the time being. Sera then moves on to pack up her books and head out for the day, her agony quickly forgotten for today was the day she was going to try out Digimon Online! Playing games was a little too frivolous for her usually, but once she had committed to trying it out, Sera had done a little research and it sounded like a lot of fun.

Too poor to afford a car, Sera opted to jog to the Digimon Online Station rather than take the bus, as she often did wherever she went within reason. Sera always took the opportunity to get exercise whenever she could. She pushed herself to go a little faster than usual in her excitement to get to her destination, still only breathing a little heavily by the time she arrives at her destination and joins the line. Sera doesn't pay much attention to the people around her, shifting impatiently as she waits for her turn. When it finally comes, she takes only a moment to think before putting down "Seraphim" as her username. Not did it have her name in it, but it was the name of a hero of justice from a show she had loved watching as a child, who in turn was named after angels or something she didn't know much about.

Her trip through the pod is a little alarming at first, but Sera quickly reminds herself that it's just a game, no matter how real it feels, and forces herself to relax. Stepping out, it's a little strange to find herself in a building not unlike the one she had just been in, but something about the place she's in now feels.... off enough that she can tell this is different. Sera examines the Digivice she's given carefully as she listens to the clerks explanation, staring at the egg on the screen and wondering what kind of partner would hatch out of it. Sera gives the clerk a smile and a word of thanks before heading out into the world. She was eager to explore this game she had heard so much about and to meet this Digimon that would apparently hatch out of the egg she's been given.

Lina sighs as school lets out. Well, at least the brats are out of her hair for now. Now it's just all this paperwork that she has to work through before she can even go anywhere. Homework to grade, conferences to schedule, other teachers either picking her brain for lesson plans or assuming they know better than her since she's just a little ol' female without the mighty brain of a man so said superior gender just HAS to point out better ways to do things. The only thing she regrets is there isn't a much of a market for overweight, disgusting wastes of space or else the flippin' PE teacher trying to advise her on how to teach Economics would be broken and sold within a week. First thing she would do is blind him, maybe temporarily, so he stops trying to stare either at her breasts or under her shirt. She's even tried dressing in a less desirable way while not killing her style TOO much. Has not really stopped the pervert from doing what he does. She's thinking she may need to just do a pro bono. Maybe her brother and sister would like an inoffensive, mind broken butler? Once he's been trained to keep his eyes and hands to himself and been so broken that his sex drive is destroyed? Or maybe just build him up from the ground up? Rip his mind apart, get him back in shape, and then instill something better in place of the old personality? ...she really needs to stop. Her self-control on doing these kind of things is bad enough as it is without tempting herself like this. She really oughta pick up a new product soon. She doesn't necessarily need the money, but her brother needs a new set of books for college and she would rather not dip too far into the family funds for it. Bloodsucking vampires is what college is. Besides, doing it for money will prolong the amount of time this idiot has before she does it for free.

Which she supposes leads her to her newest idea. As she gets in her car and heads to the Digimon Online Station, she goes over her plan one more time in her head. Her school is getting a bit hot as the amount of disappearances are getting to tip to an edge where the administration can't explain it away. Before she goes over that edge, she figures it's best to expand her circle of influence. Online gaming seems like a decent place to make "friends" anonymously and then convince them to meet in real life once she's ready to begin training them. That way people stop disappearing from her school, though she'll have to be careful that it doesn't go from "People have disappeared from this college" to "People keep disappearing around this woman". Then again, all someone else would have is her screen name and those are a dime a dozen. She does wonder why they need her name though. Pretty much no other online game requires your actual name to play. Sure, it may ask for a name, but it has no way of actually verifying it's your name, let alone tying your appearance to the name via cameras that are undoubtedly around the premises. Sounds shady to her, but this really is the most popular online game right now. She has the best chances of catching someone naive enough to go with her if she uses this game. So she grudgingly does the paperwork and selects "Purple Hayes" (she likes Jimi Hendrix alright? Sue her!) as her screen name. It's not the most original screen name, but then again that's the point. Muddy the waters as much as possible.

The pod feels more like a roller coaster ride than an actual mode of transportation and she's again struck with the question of why go through all this mess when registration could be as simple as click a few things, type in a bit of information, then log in. She also raises an eyebrow when, after exiting the pod, the attendant can do things like materialize a Digivice out of thin are. Are they somehow already in the game? They did not advertise this as a VR game, but with the seamless transition either that's what it is or something is off. She doesn't know which one she'd rather have since either way her actual face is attached to this character, making getting away with spiriting someone away damn near impossible. After all, people literally have her face in connection with a missing person! She'll give this a shot, but this might be more short lived than she ever thought possible. Well, she should at least see what kind of Digimon hatches from the egg. Maybe this is a failure from a business standpoint, but maybe she can continue this from a personal one?

Deliverance McCalmont/LittleManKitten
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Deliverance exits the structure by walking onto a Teleportation pad, which turns her into a beam of light and shoots her to ground, leaving her standing in a tiny wooded area, though calling the area woods would be somewhat inaccurate, as the area only had a few trees. Up ahead of that was more grassy area, surrounding some low mountains, only partly blocking her view of a desert. Nearby, other players had also just exited the same building, and most were checking their Digivices as well.

Among them were the two boys from earlier, one of which had a Kotemon, while the other had a Agumon, both had started wandering off towards the mountains with their Digimon. Off to Deliverance's left, the Lilac-haired girl was tapping at her Digivice, then after a moment, she disappeared into a beam of light.

Over to Deliverance's other side, some other players were just teleporting into the same location via the same method, first a woman with short white hair, wearing an all black outfit, then a blond girl with pigtails, and the largest breasts Deliverance had ever seen, wearing the same school uniform as Deliverance. Almost immediately after were a petit, pink-haired girl, with the same school uniform as Deliverance, and lastly a girl with short, black hair, again wearing the same uniform as Deliverance.

While these people were teleporting in, Deliverance had decided to hatch her Digimon. Upon tapping at the egg on-screen, the Digi-Egg suddenly materializes out of the screen, by breaking up into cube-shaped bits, and rebuilding itself into the same shape directly in front of her. Almost immediately after rebuilding itself, the egg rocks back and forth several times, before finally breaking open and falling over, spilling out a round, pink creature with two floppy ears, and round black eyes, as well as four stub-like legs.

Lina Hayes/MiscChaos
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lina walks out of the building through the Floor Gate, causing her to be changed into a beam of light, and teleported into a lightly wooded area, near some low mountains preceding a desert. Meanwhile, nearby, Nearby, other players had also just exited the same building, and most were checking their Digivices as well.

Among them were the two boys from earlier, one of which had a Kotemon, while the other had a Agumon, both had started wandering off towards the mountains with their Digimon. Also nearby was the Lilac-haired girl from earlier, who tapped at her Digivice a few times, before turning into a beam of light and teleporting off.

Just ahead of Lina, some other players were just teleporting into the same location via the same method, first a girl with shoulder-length white-pink hair, the standard school uniform of the college Lina works at, then a blond girl with pigtails, and the largest breasts Lina had ever seen, wearing the same school uniform as the first girl. Almost immediately after were a petite, pink-haired girl, with the same school uniform as the first two, and lastly a girl with short, black hair, again wearing the same uniform as the first three.

While these people were teleporting into the area, Lina had decided to hatch her egg. Upon tapping the Digi-Egg, it suddenly materializes out of the screen, by breaking up into cube-shaped bits, and rebuilding itself into the same shape directly in front of her. Almost immediately after rebuilding itself, the egg rocks back and forth several times, before finally breaking open and falling over, spilling out a yellow, furry, blob-like creature with orange eyes and a cat-like tail with purple stripes.

Michelle LaDroix/Mark3000
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Clerk guides Michelle to the floor Gate, explaining "We prefer individuals not hatch their Digi-Eggs in this building." in a nice way, maintaining her smile. Once Michelle is on the Exit Gate, she is reconfigured into a beam of light, and teleported into a lightly wooded area, being reconfigured back into her usual self upon landing. All around her were other players, fiddling with their Digivices, and among them were the two boys from earlier, one of which had a Kotemon, while the other had a Agumon, both had started wandering off towards the mountains with their Digimon. Also nearby was the Lilac-haired girl from earlier, who tapped at her Digivice a few times, before turning into a beam of light and teleporting off.

Some other players had also already teleported in, including a girl with shoulder-length white-pink hair, the same school uniform as Michelle, and a woman with short white hair, wearing a black outfit. Standing not to far from those two were a petite, pink-haired girl, with the same school uniform as Michelle, and a girl with short, black hair, again wearing the same uniform as Michelle.

As she was glancing around at the other players that were in the area with her, Michelle, hugging the Digivice with the Digi-Egg onscreen to her chest just happened to cause the Egg to activate, suddenly materializing it out of the screen, by breaking up into cube-shaped bits, and rebuilding itself into the same shape directly in front of her. Almost immediately after rebuilding itself, the egg rocks back and forth several times, before finally breaking open and falling over, spilling out a round, fox-like creature with yellow fur, blue eyes, fox-like ears and tail, stub-like legs, however all attached to a oval-shaped body.

Reina Shiraishi/MrBlah
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Reina makes her way to the Floor Gate, which re-configures her into a beam of light, and teleports her to a lightly wooded area. Around her, players had already been transported to the same location, the two boys from earlier, one of which had a Kotemon, while the other had a Agumon, both had started wandering off towards the nearby mountains, partly obscuring a desert beyond, with their Digimon. Also nearby was the Lilac-haired girl from earlier, who tapped at her Digivice a few times, before turning into a beam of light and teleporting off.

Nearby were a woman with short, white hair, wearing a black business outfit, and some girls in the same school uniform as herself; a girl with shoulder-length white-pink hair, a girl with short, black hair, a blond girl with pigtails, and the largest breasts Reina had ever seen.

Sera Evans/Blue56
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Sera steps into the Floor Gate, which re-configures her into a beam of light, and teleports her to a lightly wooded area.

Nearby were other a woman with short, white hair, wearing a black business outfit, and some girls in the same school uniform as herself; a girl with shoulder-length white-pink hair, a petite, pink-haired girl, a blond girl with pigtails, and the largest breasts Sera had ever seen.

After having glanced over the other players in the area, Sera resumes hatching her Digi-Egg. Upon tapping the Digi-Egg on-screen, it suddenly materializes out of the screen, by breaking up into cube-shaped bits, and rebuilding itself into the same shape directly in front of her. Almost immediately after rebuilding itself, the egg rocks back and forth several times, before finally breaking open and falling over, spilling out a furry blob-like creature with a metal helmet-like section on its head, with horns, a raccoon-like tail with white and blue zebra stripes, and orange eyes.

Lina's confusion on whether she's in a VR game intensifies when she dissolves into a beam of light and teleports elsewhere. There wasn't even a loading time! Aren't MMOs supposed to have massive loading times while they bring it the colossal world they're so proud of building!? This was once again seamless, no time between becoming light and ending up in the plains she's in now! Is she unconscious for the load time? Is that how it works? But being knocked out for such a period of time is majorly unsettling to her. She knows better than anyone what one can do with someone unable to defend themselves. She shakes those thoughts off since she has no way of answering them at current moment and looks around. Lina sees 4 girls from her school and feels her ambitions for drawing new blood die a quick death. She came to this place specifically to avoid drawing from the student population any further! Well, it's not like she expected to capture someone immediately or that she thought it would be impossible that someone from her school would show up, so she still has a little hope this is a viable option. Just means she has to be careful not to let anyone at school tie her to someone she's planning on taking.

Looking over the people she can see, two immediately jump out at her: Deliverance McCalmont and Michelle LaDroix. For the same reason too: She's not going to make any kind of attempt on them unless it's for a very good reason. Deliverance's folks are the heads of the local religion. If she goes missing, that's a lot of Joe Shmoe's out looking for her. If Lina makes the slightest slip, that's game over for her and that's unacceptable given how likely it is her assets would be seized. That would leave her siblings with nothing! That above all else cannot be allowed. Michelle, despite having a rack that makes even her drool when she sees them, is also too sticky to tango with. Her folks are rich after all and money buys you all the finest things. All the best PI, all the best police investigations, all the best snitches looking for a cash reward, just more than she wants to mess with at any point in time. Which is a shame, because she doesn't even think she would sell Michelle. Such a delicious female would likely become her new "girlfriend" for her family to coo and fuss over. At least until she became bored with the well-endowed woman, but that would likely take years, if not decades. Still, too much trouble unless she went through legal channels, which is a mess of a headache all on its own. Starting with the fact that no significant other will likely take well to her side business and she is not confident in her ability to deceive someone she cares for for years on unforeseeable years. Her siblings notwithstanding, of course since they are very much used to her disappearing for days on end.

But she has gotten wildly off track. She's not going to accost any of the girls here with the goal of abducting them so it's best to move on. With the...yellow blob on the floor in front of her. Well, she supposes the thing is cute enough though "cute" isn't necessarily what she thought she would think when it came to the monster she'll be fighting alongside. Ah well, she doesn't mind having an adorable partner. "C'mon, Foxy Lady. Let's get at 'em!" She says, moving to the North since the East isn't long and any other direction requires a nice, long swim. With a cute yip of acknowledge, her Digimon follows after her. She's not sure how durable these things are newly hatched, so she keeps an eye on it. Her, Lina's decided. Foxy Lady is a her. If it looks like she's tired... well, it's no hardship to have Foxy ride on her shoulder for a bit.

Deliverance blinks a few times as she is transported to... Somewhere. A heavy, but short-lived wave of vertigo hits her as her body suddenly panics about what the hell just happened, and she struggles to keep balance for a few seconds before finally her brain calms down. She then looks around, seeing some students she didn't really recognize from her school, but she did see a teacher, one she's seen in the hallways a few times but never actually talked to before. She also saw that lovely lilac haired girl again, and started jogging over to her with a huge smile, but only 4 or so steps in the girl disappears and she stops dead in tracks, shoulders slumped. She turns to go say hi to the teacher instead, but the teacher had already walked a surprising distance away from her towards a large desert area. Looking around some more, she saw that ocean pretty much surrounded her aside from that desert area, so she'll be heading that way anyway.

With a destination set, she hatches her digimon. It was exactly how it looked in the picture, yet somehow looked even more pathetic but adorable. It was such a cute little pink blob! Deliverance couldn't help but let out a audible awhhh. The thing made a high pitched squeaking noise and Deliverance made one back. So cuuuuutteeee! "Are you ready to head out do some battle or whatever it is you do little guy?" She asks sweetly to it. The thing opens its mouth, displaying a couple rows of razor sharp death before letting out a loud 'bwaaaaaaahhhhh' in affirmation before closing its mouth and squeaking again. "eh?" Deliverance said, a little confused, but the thing began circling around her happily, its tiny feet pitter pattering around like a lost puppy. Deliverance just shook her head, pretending she didn't see that before heading to the desert area, sort of heading towards the teacher but not really actively going for her now.

Taking the clerk's words to heart, Michelle follows the clerk to the Exit Gate. Being spirited away fills Michelle with an oddly tingly feeling. When she arrives at the wooded area with her Digi-egg. Giggling a bit, Michelle started to scroll through her digivice to see what she had available.

When the busty student looked up, she could actually recognize some of the other players. There were the two boys from before. They must have been playing for a while since their digimon looked a little more developed. There were even some students from her school. Just as she was about to say hi to one of them, her digivice activates. "What the..." she exclaims as the cutest little thing pops out on to the ground. Wagging her tail, the small fox-like creature yips in excitement. "OMG, my digimon is such a cutie!" Michelle yells as she picks Viximon and squeezes her tightly like a stuff animal. Unuse to this kind of attention, Viximon yips even louder as it tries to wiggle out of Michelle's grasp.

Once the newly minted tamer had calmed down, she decided this was the best chance to make some new friends. Seeing the girl with short, black hair, Michelle recalls seeing her in some of her classes. With Viximon right behind her, Michelle went to introduce herself.

"I didn't know Digimon Online was popular with so many people at our school. Your...." Michelle pauses for a moment as her brain tried to remember the girl's name "Cher? No that's not right. Clara? No that's not it either" As Michelle struggled with Sera's name, a look of disbelief covered Viximon's small face.

At this point, Reina's initial awe at the astounding technology the game used had mostly vanished, so her reaction to having her digital body rearranged into light and transported was mostly just a "wow, that's so cool" as she instead immediately focused on more interesting things, like WHERE she was transported and WHO was with her. The pinkette had looked around the area and spotted a few familiar uniforms, as well as some others who joined into the game around the time she had. A few of the faces were familiar ones; there was that one girl, Deliverance, who had a weird name and was rather religious; Michelle, who likely has terrible back problems and was super rich; Sera, whose hairstyle Reina liked; and that teacher... Lina, the economics teacher. Of course, Reina only knew what she heard from gossip and never knew any of the four personally.

This wasn't her most immediate concern. Two of her fellow college affiliates were already leaving, and she had yet to meet her new companion before she could start on her own digital journey. It was time to rectify that. Reina pulled out her digivice and finally tapped on the Digi-egg to hatch it. Right before where she stood, digital particles began to form the body of her new pet, solidifying into an odd teardrop-shaped creature with two eyes and a small, smiling mouth. It looked innocent. And stupid. "Hm... I would've preferred something a little more pink or maybe dangerous, but you'll do~" Reina held off on naming the thing for now. No, the best name she could come up with would be Raindrop, and while that sounded fitting now, these things change appearances later on, right?

In any case, with that done, now she was ready to embark on her journey. Her wonderful digital life was just starting in the here and now. This first step she'll be taking will mark how her life will proceed for years to come... but first, Reina spots two of her fellow students getting friendly over there. Being the social butterfly that she was, she just had to take the chance to make some new friends of her own. "Come on... well, maybe for now I'll just call you Raindrop and we'll see what happens later," said Reina as she immediately went back on her decision to not call her Digimon that, "Raindrop, we have to meet some new people~"

With that said, the pink-haired socialite made her way over to Sera and Michelle, waving in greeting as she approached. "Is there room in this group for one more college student~? Hello, hello, you two~"

The sensation of suddenly being transported to a different area is disorienting to say the least. Sera blinks several times as she surveys the woods she's found herself in as she regains her bearings. She takes a brief notice of all the people who were in line with her that have also ended up in the same area before turning her attention to the Digivice she had been given. Sera wasn't particularly tech savvy so it takes her a little bit to hatch the egg on the screen. She almost drops the device due to the shock of having her egg suddenly pop out of the screen and break right in front of her face. The creature that emerges is... pretty cute in all honesty. It's tail wags as it's orange eyes stare up at her expectantly. Sera kneels down next to her Digimon, reaching out a hand cautiously to touch it. Surprisingly she can even feel the dull sharpness of the horns of it's helmet as she touches them experimentally. It was amazing the level of detail this game was able to produce.

Sera takes a moment to glance at the screen of her Digivice, hoping to learn a little more about her partner. "Kapurimon? That's a bit of a mouthful..." She mutters before noticing her Digimon perk up at the mention of it's name. "Oh, can you understand me?" She asks to which Kapurimon nodded enthusiastically. "Can you speak?" Equally enthusiastic head shaking that likely meant no given the silence. "Right, I suppose that would be a little difficult to program and voice an AI like that." Sera says mostly to herself while Kapurimon gave her a puzzled look. As she continued her examination, Sera can't help but think that his helmet made him look like some kind of knight in training. She couldn't help but smile as she thought what a fitting partner that made him. "Kapurimon is a little hard to say over and over again. How about we call you... Lance." Her suggestion was met with a predictable enthusiastic nod as her Digimon rubbed against her affectionately. He didn't look like much just yet, but hopefully Lance would eventually live up to the legendary knight she had named him after.

As Sera gets familiar with her new partner, one of the others in the area approaches her. Lance notices first and places himself between Sera and Michelle protectively, growling lowly until Sera scoops him up in her arms as she rises to her feet, which seems to mollify the Digimon. "It's Sera." She corrects her classmate, amusement at the mix ups softening her usually stern tone. Sera couldn't hold it against Michelle really, she was usually too focused on her work to mingle with her classmates or learn their names. "And you're Michelle, right? And... Reina." Sera replies as yet another girl from her school approaches, returning the wave Reina gives. The only reason she knew these two was due to their tendency to stand out. "Did you two just start playing today too? That's quite a coincidence. I'd be more than happy to explore this place with the two of you if you're looking for company." She tells them with a warm smile, her gaze turning towards the desert that everyone else seemed to have moved off towards as that seemed to be the only way for them to go at the moment. Sera had almost no experience playing games, let alone something like this, so having others who might be able to help her learn would be great.

"Sera! That's what it was" Michelle said. She blushed, embarrassed by how long it took her to remember her name. That feeling only got worst when Sera rattled off both their names off so easily.

Just as Reina joined the conversation , Viximon began to rub against her leg. Kneeling down, Michelle picked up the small fox-like digimon and cradled it in her arms. "Look Vee, we just made a bunch of new friends." Michelle said as the group formed a small circle. She was actually glad Reina had joined their little group. Michelle had seen her around school. She seemed like the coolest person in the school. But she never worked up the nerve to hang out with Reina.

"Yea I just started today. I would love the company. So where should we go first? The Desert of the Mountains? I don't know about the desert. The heat always causes my hair to frizzle out. This one time I ..." Michelle proceeded to tell a ten minute story about a trip to the salon which felt like it lasted half an hour. "...And it turned out I was used the wrong product the whole time. So I vote mountains"

"Reina, yes, and yes again~! I've always been interested in Digimon Online, but I've only just started playing today... ah, and travelling together does sound like it'd be fun. RPG games always have little parties for the heroes, right~?" Was her answer to Sera's question. And as Michelle launched into her ten minute story, Reina patiently waited and absolutely neglected to actually listen to her the moment she realized this story would be dragging on.

"Ah, I've totally been there before too~!" Again, Reina didn't listen to a word Michelle said. She'd actually been poking and playing a little with Raindrop as the blond haired girl was speaking. This was just one of her legendary Popular Girl™ techniques that she used often. "I don't have that bad a hair problem in deserts... but if Michelle would feel more comfortable in the mountains, I'd cast my vote there as well~"

"RPG's always have parties? I suppose it's a good thing we met up then. I hope the others will be alright..." Sera says, having taken Reina completely seriously and now believing that the other girl from their school and the older woman who had wandered off into the desert alone were breaking some sort of rule. When the topic of where to go first comes up, Sera listens patiently to Michelle's long winded story. She wasn't into fashion at all, but her sister was and so this wasn't Sera's first time in such a situation. Her sister wasn't quite as long winded though... About halfway through, Sera finds herself growing a little impatient and it likely showed on her expression as her gaze started wandering elsewhere. Reina seemed to have no issues with this, so Sera didn't interject and simply stood idly, foot tapping impatiently as she idly strokes Lance's soft tail and waits for Michelle to finish.

The desert seemed to be where everyone else was heading as it was the closest to them and so Sera, who often took the straightest path, hadn't even considered bypassing it entirely and moving on to the mountains. "I doubt that hair is something we need to be concerned about in this game... But if that's where you want to go, then I'll come along too." Sera eventually replies after mulling it over. She wasn't one to be concerned about her hair, game or not, but Reina was apparently more familiar with games like these than she was and Michelle likely was too even if she didn't seem the type, so Sera thought sticking together with them would be for the best. With their destination decided, the trio of students began making their way towards the mountains.

Deliverance McCalmont/LittleManKitten
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Deliverance chooses to travel to USB Desert.

Choosing to move separately from the teacher she had seen before takes Deliverance to the opposite side of one of the mountains separating the lightly wooded area from the desert. The temperature, rather than changing gradually as she enters the desert, suddenly jumps, causing Deliverance to feel like she had entered an oven. The desert itself was mostly like any other desert, the sand was a light yellow color, however the area was lined with numerous power poles, connecting by power lines, seemingly stretching on endlessly. Off in the distance, Deliverance could also see Pyramids, but even from this distance, unlike a typical pyramid, these had stone doors, with handles.

Other than those few details, Deliverance couldn't see anything else, just sand dunes, power lines, and pyramids stretching on for as far as she could see. She couldn't even see the other people that would have supposedly entered the desert around the same time as her.

Deliverance hopped and skipped happily towards the dessert, her Digimon doing pretty much the same thing but with more squeaking and almost falling on its face involved. As soon as she enters the dessert and the temperature jumps, she physically jumps as well, the rush of heat hitting her like a wave. She stumbles forward a little, but steadies herself quickly. She could practically feel her flesh expanding at the sudden rush of heat. Hyper-realistic my ass. She thinks to herself, the sudden jumps in temperature and location were certainly something that seemed like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Wiping her head of the growing sweat, she looks around and notices that it seems she was teleported again, with nothing but sand dunes in sight, and everyone having vanished from sight. Sighing, she presses onwards to one of those pyramids, them being the only really landmarks that she could see aside from the power lines. The Divine Foreteller followed suit, still looking as happy as ever and not at all affected by the sudden changes.

The door to the interior of the Pyramid felt like solid stone, however, upon pulling on the handle, the door opened itself just as easily as if it was made of wood. Entering the Pyramid, Deliverance finds that the floor is made of stone panels, and the walls are solid stone as well, and area is musty and dusty, as if it was truly hundreds of years old. The hallways within the Pyramid seem to create a stone maze, like Dungeons in other games. In Digimon Online, however, these would be referred to as "Domains". The maze before her has a short walkway, leading to an area which branches off in three directions.

Deliverance is once again surprised about how just unrealistic this supposed hyper-realistic game is. The door opens itself, seeming to have a form of motion sensor or something, and despite being made out of stone, it seemed to glide gracefully across the ground and air as it opened, a little strange and unrealistic, but she could pretty easily ignore that small detail. She walks along somewhat slowly, taking in the environment and just trying to appreciate the game with what it has going for it, before eventually coming to the a junction with multiple paths. After a few moments consideration, she shrugged and went left.

After turning the corner and traveling a short distance down the identical corridor, Deliverance hears a crackling sound, and sees purple light on the walls around her. Upon turning around to face the source, she barely evades a purple sphere of electricity, which flies past her face. After the attack has missed her, she can clearly see a grey-colored four-legged creature with multiple tails and yellow stripes on its body.

Lina Hayes/MiscChaos
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lina chooses to travel to USB Desert.

The girl that Lina recognized as Deliverance starts by moving the same direction Lina is moving in, however when they start nearing the desert, the girl starts branching off onto the other side of one of the mountains, separating her into a difference part of the desert.

When Lina enters the desert, it's as though someone flips a switch; The temperature immediately sky-rockets, as if Lina walked into an oven, and the air becomes incredibly humid. The area that she can see is nothing but endless sand up ahead of her, along with an endless line of power lines, on the end of power poles, one after the other. Otherwise, Lina can see a few Pyramids in the distance. Across the desert sands and dunes, Lina also can't see a single person, despite the fact that Deliverance had entered the USB Desert at almost the same instance as Lina had.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The group's trip to LAN Mountain takes them around the desert, and near the ocean, but keeps them in the plain, which stretched on for miles ahead of them. With their new position to the right of the mountain-surrounded desert, they could, however, see the LAN Mountains drawing closer.

As they traveled through the plains, the group could see transmission towers sitting in the ocean, connected by power lines, every few miles. The transmission towers could also be seen lining the desert to their left, each time they passed by a gap in the mountain range.

While the group is passing close to the ocean, through the plains, Sera suddenly notices a barrage of glowing bubbles flying towards her face, and manages to evade, causing them to pop passed her harmlessly. However, immediately after this happens, Reina is struck in the arm by a yellow shockwave of energy, knocking her back and creating a deep gash in her arm, which begins bleeding immediately, the searing pain from the strike and the subsequent wound running up her arm and into her shoulder. Unlike usual wounds, when Reina was struck by the shockwave, her arm began fizzling, as if it were glitching in and out of existence, while the wound itself had red cube-shaped droplets spraying from it into the air, then slowly rising upwards before dissipating.

The assailants could be seen nearby, now that they had revealed themselves through their attacks. A blue crab-like creature with red markings on its claws and shell, snapping its larger claw at them aggressively, a yellow creature with webbed feet, brown fur, and razor sharp fins on its back, as well as a purple tadpole-like creature with bulging eyes and sharp teeth.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

After the woman had left, a second woman guides Alexis Amassa to the nearby Floor Gate, which immediately shape-shifts Alexis' body into a beam of light, which then travels directly to the ground below.

Upon landing on the ground, her body is reconfigured back into its normal form, at which point Alexis can see that she has been teleported to a vast desert, and more notably right beside a large Pyramid, the size of a sky scraper. Otherwise, the vast desert is completely devoid of any life that she can see, just numerous Transmission Towers, connected by power lines, and the aforementioned Pyramid. Examining the Pyramid shows that on one side, there's a stone door with a handle, which looks as though the door is meant to be opened and closed, as opposed to the typical permanently closed Pyramid doors that are common in the real world's Egypt.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Alexis gasped as she looked at the vast expanse, surprised by both the feeling of her body reforming and the great expanse before her. She slowly walked toward the pyramid, leaning against the outer wall as she examined the digivice she had received. Her thumb hovered over the egg on the screen as she wondered what she would get from hatching it. Slowly she pressed down, both surprised and confused when the egg appeared before her. Her hands rushed to grab the egg before it could fall to the ground not wanting to take the chance of damaging it. She softly cradled the egg, smiling faintly as it hatched into a small blob like creature.

"Well hello there, little one. I'm guessing you're my partner." She sat the little digimon down, looking at her Digivice to find out the name of her new friend. "Tokomon, huh? Hard to say in a pinch... How about... Loki?" She calmly patted the blob on the head, turning away from it for just a moment to see how it would react. Her eyes lazily wandered back to the pyramid's door as the small creature hopped around to stand beside her.

"Well well, what have we here? What do you say to going to get you stronger, Loki? Some training could do us both some good, after all, and I'd be willing to bet that there are some beginner level Digimon somewhere in there, otherwise the game wouldn't have dropped me so close on my first log in."

Reina spent most of their journey both observing the world around them with interest and attempting to converse with her new friends, most likely by asking them questions like "What kind of music do you like?" and "What do you do for fun besides this?" Simple general information stuff that she kept away from the bigger topics to avoid making them uncomfortable. Her Digimon, on the other hand, had actually seemed a bit shy and mostly kept close to Reina and away from the others. She didn't entirely know what to make of Raindrop yet, and truth be told, Reina was more interested in the humans who could actually talk, so she neglected to care much for her digital pet, much to its dismay.

"—So our first gig unfortunately didn't go so well when our lead singer got stage fright when we played, but it was still a lot of fun to play with everyone~" Reina was just finishing a story she was telling about an experience she had in a band she was in. The pinkette was walking at a sedate pace with her arms behind her back and raindrop to her side. As usual, she was carefree, with a cheerful smile that never seemed to go away. "So, have either of you two ever played an instrument—" But just suddenly interrupting her good mood, was the sight of Sera almost getting shot in the face with bubbles. The pinkette would've laughed as the girl so desperately dodged something that was so harmless, but she never had the chance to as she was suddenly blasted off her feet by a sudden attack, catching both her and her Digimon off guard. "Aah!!"

Her Digimon let out a wordless cry as its tamer fell to the floor, and it rushed over as quickly as it could with worry to see if she was fine. Reina, however, wasn't. Her arm had been torn open with a deep wound, and blood was... cubing and floating into the air? At an accelerated rate. "Mn..! What in... what the hell?!" She was taking the pain relatively well. Reina was the careless type who never met with the consequences of her actions, but she'd also been trained somewhat in sword-fighting from her grandfather, and the training had toughened her up to pain. It was still something she'd rather avoid and this much was both worrying (due to the glitching effect) and still intensely painful. She cradled her arm at the elbow, eyes closed tight with a grimace. "Oh God, oh God... there's... I-I'm bleeding why does it hurt!"

Again, she's taking the pain well. Don't mind the almost tears.

Michelle was having a lovely time chatting with her new friends. She was always quick to answer any of Reina's question. Michelle quickly revealed her love of k-pop and her rather mundane hobby of cosplaying. Realizing how long winded her last story was, Michelle tried to keep things concise... with mild success. Viximon for it's part was starting to get accustom to it's Tamer's constant need to talk. Nuzzled in her arms, Vee enjoyed being carried along the coast line.

It was just as they were walking the plains when it happened. Michelle was admiring the the strange transmission towers when a string of glowing bubbles floated past them. Michelle was mesmerized by them, but Vee began to growl. It was then that the yellow shockwave of energy hit Reina and she began to glitch out. Michelle may have bee studying medicine, but she had never seen anything like this before. "A-AHHHHHHH" Michelle screamed as they were confronted by their two assailants. Michelle froze up unsure what to do, but Vee leap from the Tamer's arm and put it's self between her and the two other digimon. With a fierce string of yips, Vee stood defiant in the face of danger.

Deliverance and Divine Foreteller both jump as the sudden electrical shock is heard going for them. Deliverance only barely manages to dodge out of the way of the bolt, letting it hit the walls with a sizzle and crackle before fading out. Turning towards her assailant, she sees a somewhat cute monster with small bolts of electricity running through it. Her first enemy! Deliverance practically jumped again, this time in excitement in finding out what the battles will be like in this game. "Go uh... Do your thing Divine Foreteller, show that thing what your made of!" Deliverance said awkwardly, realizing she hadn't bothered looking at the move list or anything like that for her digimon. Meaning she basically had no idea what she was doing. Ah well, that's the fun of games after all!

The creature growls and takes one step to the left of the hallway, then another to the right, leaving it back where it was before, as electricity crackles across its body, gathering onto the tips of its tails, then the creature raises its rear as electricity flares off towards Deliverance, the purple electricity crackling across the air towards her face, however since she saw this bolt coming, she has plenty of time to get out of the way of this one as well.

Deliverance yelps as the thing targets her, and once again only narrowly manages to avoid it, her heart skipping a beat. She wasn't expecting it to target her really, thinking this would be solely a battle between the two digimon. It was strange, but she supposed it was just something she had to get used to. Perhaps it was a bug anyway. Turning to Divine Foreteller she pointed at it. "Do... SOMETHING!" Deliverance shouted at it, annoyed, though more at herself than the digimon. With a tiny squeak of affirmation, Divine Foreteller inhales deeply then spits a large glob of saliva towards the creature, its aimed looked relatively true at that.

The glob hits the creature, soaking it from head to toe, after which the creature screeches in anger, then shakes, trying to get the sticky substance off its fur. After a moment of shaking, the creature raises its tails again and fires off another pulse of electricity, which flies towards Divine Foreteller at first, however at the last moment, it arcs away and strikes Deliverance, sending volts of electricity through her body, causing her to feel horrible, searing pain.

Deliverance clasps her hands together and shouts in encouragement towards Divine Foreteller "Good job little guy!" She prepared for it to shoot at her again, but instead the enemy creature shot at her digimon. It seems it realized this was a digimon fig- OH SHIT. The bolt of lightning suddenly changed direction and she didn't have any time to dodge it this time. It strikes her in the torso and she yells more in surprise then pain, though it was quite painful. Wait, the developers coded actual true to nature pain into this damn game? She was both incredibly impressed and very angry at this revelation. Surely there would be some very clear warnings before joining before hand warning people of this feature, but there was nothing at all! Oh they would pay dearly for this. But first she had to finish this fight. Before she can say anything though, Divine Foreteller growls at the enemy creature and makes a surprisingly intimidating barking noise before lunging at the creature, its rows of teeth on full display as it lands next to it and chomps down on one of the things legs.

The creature cries out and shakes its leg, as red cubes rise from the puncture location, instead of the usual red blood droplets which dripped from a wound. the creature finally shakes Divine Foreteller off, and fires off another bolt of electricity at him, missing, however the creature had vanished while the bolt was being fired. After several moments of the creature missing, Deliverance could hear more crackling from behind her, when suddenly she was struck in the back by another purple bolt of electricity.

Deliverance's anger subsides slightly, now replaced with more excitement as she watches her digimon fight the enemy creature. She tries to make noises and words of encouragement, but doesn't really know what would sound encouraging to her digimon, so she stops after a few tries and after it gives her a few curious looks. When the thing suddenly disappears, she pouts a little, thinking it was suddenly gone for good. Which would be supremely disappointing. She starts hearing more crackling after a small bit though, and while at first she perks up, she then discerns its coming from behind her, and before she can even start turning around, the bolt of electricity slams into her, directly on her spine, making it even worse than before. It felt like she was suddenly strapped to an electrical chair and after a few seconds she crumples to the ground, only barely seeing her digimon which was rushing towards her aid slowly disappear into nothingness.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

After Deliverance's Digimon dissipates, its data streams back into her Digivice, after which the screen states plainly that she lacks the Digi-Soul to keep it manifested. With her Digimon gone, and Deliverance helpless, the creature slowly makes its way over to her and starts sniffing at her face, its many tails twitching behind it. After sniffing for a few moments, the creature slowly opens its mouth, then chomps down on her arm and starts tugging at it, the same cube-shaped droplets of blood as before slowly rising off the place where it was biting her.

Deliverance huffs a little, annoyed that she lost her first fight so easily. She starts trying to get back up, only to find more pain shooting through her, and her body unable to really move. What the fuck? Having pain in your game was one thing, but this was taking things to far. As the creature starts heading towards her, she looks at it curiously. "So uh, now what?" She asks tentatively, not really sure what to do at this point. Then the damn thing bites her! Was it trying to fucking eat her? "Ow, you fucking piece of shit stop that!" She yells at the thing, doing her best to push the thing away, though her weakened state made that task near impossible.

The creature stops biting Deliverance, then licks the wound for a moment before moving to her side. Once there, it places its nose beneath the hem of her shirt and starts pushing it upward until its over her chest, while it takes a step, placing its lower body above her hips, then starts using one of its hind legs to lightly kick at her pants, until the button is undone, before slowly shoving her pants down off her hips.

Deliverance mumbles a little as the thing backs off, clutching her arms and rubbing the new wound, trying to scoot away from it a bit, not that she expected to actually get away with how slow she was managing to go. When the thing started trying to lift her shirt up, she weakly tried to undo the things progress, though was now mostly confused at what the thing was trying to do. This game was getting weirder and weirder. Eventually she stopped trying and just took off her shirt herself, crossing her arms over her breasts. "You happy now?" She asks sarcastically, then the thing moves onto her pants. Slowly, thoughts begin forming in her head about what it wants. "Wait, why the fuck are you trying to get my clothes off?" She snaps at the thing, despite her protests, she simply props herself off and lets it do its thing, her heartbeat quickening, and really hoping that it doesn't plan to do anything particularly weird.

The creature turns around, placing its hips over Deliverance's face, at which point she can see its cock poking her right between the eyes, somewhat large for the creature's size, with barbs. the creature wiggles around a little, then uses one of its hind paws to tilt Deliverance's head back, before suddenly poking its cock into her mouth, then starting to wiggle its hips side to side. While doing this, it starts pawing at Deliverance's panties.

Deliverance blinks a few times, then realizes what it is she is seeing. Another rush of anger overtook Deliverance, how dare they code something like this in, how dare they let something like this happen to her without her say so!? She was going to send the minds behind this game straight to the pits of hell, and at the mercy of her wrath. For now though, she was undressed, at the mercy of this creature. Her extremely lacy and expensive looking bra and panties on display. They were a deep burgundy with black and pink styling. A showcase of her wealth. As the thing tried to poke its cock into her mouth, she pursed her lips, trying to block its path, but only for a few moments. Deliverance was proud, but she also knew when something was futile. The best way to show someone to the true path was not to be stubborn, but adapt to what is happening and who they are. Deliverance wasn't going to make this harder than it had to for herself. With a internal sigh, she parted her lips open and allowed the cock to enter her mouth.

The creature started slowly bucking its hips, pushing its cock in and out of her mouth slowly while it lowered its head to her crotch and started slowly lapping at her crotch, through her panties, while its front paw continued to fiddle with her panties. While this was all going on, the creature was discharging just enough of its purple electricity from its body, into her, that she was feeling only a slight staticky tingle through her entire body, while releasing very light growls from its lips.

Deliverance decided to go with the limp fish routine for now, not blocking its ability, but not giving it more pleasure than it needs either. Thankfully, its cock didn't taste all that bad, in fact, she's had worse. She lets out a muffled sound of sudden pleasure though as the thing suddenly starts licking her pussy through her panties. She feels herself instinctively become wetter at the attention. The electricity didn't help with that respect either, it didn't really make her feel any better, but the feeling of it did make her nipples harden through her bra, and her clit became fully erect at that point. Not wanting her panties to be ruined, she reached down and slowly began removing them herself, knowing there was nothing she could do to stop it getting to what it wants.

As the creature slowly pushes in and out of her mouth, growling in pleasure each time, Deliverance can feel its cock hardening against her tongue, and a sticky substance starting to leak into her mouth. Once her panties are moved out of the way, the creature starts slowly licking her slit directly, its sticky saliva clinging to her with every lick. The static feeling pulsing through her intensifies and weakens on and off, but doesn't intensify enough to cause her physical pain.

Deliverance continues to try and not give it more pleasure than it can get, but as time progressed it became harder and harder to not do something. Despite her own protest, she can feel her body hungrily taking what is coming from its cock, swallowing every once in a while. Her pussy becomes even wetter as the thing licks it, and it begins dripping a mix of the things saliva and her own juices onto the cold ground. The electricity keeps her body in a constant state of action, and after a while she feels herself bobbing her head, very very slightly, but enough to be just noticeable.

After some time, the creature stops licking at her pussy and lets out a grunt, pushing its cock deeper into her mouth, to the back of her throat, and releases a torrent of hot, sticky cum. It holds its cock there for a time, then pulls out, firing a torrent of cum onto her face the moment its cock exits her mouth. Without wasting a moment, the creature turns its body around and pokes its cock against her slit, then starts slowly pushing into her pussy, an inch at a time, growling in pleasure the deeper its cock pushes into her.

When the thing suddenly hilts itself into her mouth, she lets out a muffled, but pleasured moan as it unleashes its seed into her. At this point, her body had fully rebelled from her mind and she took the cum gleefully. She did have to jerk away and shut her eyes as the thing suddenly pulls out and shoots some of its cum onto her face. It did not smell very good at all. She coughs a little and gags at the strong scent, but by that time the creature had already swung itself around and now tried to fuck her for real. Half of her hoped it would of been satisfied with her mouth, the other half wanted this as well. Regardless of what she wanted though, she was wet enough that entering her pussy was more than easy for the creature, and probably more than pleasurable to. Deliverance lets out a soft scream, both in protest and pleasure.

The creature starts thrusting immediately into Deliverance's pussy, driving its large cock deep inside her each time, letting out a pleasured growl with every thrust. While fucking her, the creature leans its head down and latches its teeth onto her bra, tugging at it while it uses one paw to press down on her right breast and knead it somewhat roughly, but not painfully.

It wasn't long before Deliverance began bucking her own hips, the pleasure from the experience starting to overtake her. She felt wrong doing all this, but that was probably because she really wasn't in control, not because she was fucking this creature given her past. When the creature focused its attention onto her bra, she began unbuckling it for the same reason she removed her panties, it was gonna get there anyway, might as well not ruin her bra while she's at it. The attention to her breasts made the experience even better, much to her own dismay. Then again, she wasn't really in control of herself for a while now.

The creature picked up its pace, thrusting harder and faster into her, growling in pleasure with each thrust, its hot sticky juices leaking into her pussy with every thrust and starting to leak out onto the floor due to the sheer amount. The creature uses its mouth to start licking her left nipple while it uses its paw to grope and knead her other breast, pressing roughly, but not enough to hurt.

Deliverance's hips began moving even faster as well as the thing pounded into her, her own juices mixing with the creatures and creating one hell of a mess on the ground. She panted heavily as all of this happened, her body enjoying every thrust from its cock and press onto her breasts. Well, at least the developers got the pure feeling of pleasure down to a T.

The creature suddenly thrusted deep inside her, hilting itself in one swift motion, letting out a loud growl, as it started unleashing torrents of cum into Deliverance's pussy. The shear volume of cum being pumped into her pussy causes it to explode out of her and create a large mess on the ground. After it finishes, it starts thrusting again, far more rapidly than before, and after roughly a full minute, it starts cumming again, causing even more to explode out of her and onto the ground. After several moments, the creature pulls out of her, slowly, then struts off down the hallway and disappears into the darkness, just leaving Deliverance on the ground.

Deliverance was a little surprised at how quickly it finished, and at the amount of cum still left in the thing after cumming inside her mouth. Deliverance moans softly as she is pumped full of the things seed, a very much full feeling beginning to overtake her before sudden relief as it all explodes out of her due to the sheer amount. The thing apparently wasn't done though, and it continued on as usual. The sheer speed of its thrusts causes Deliverance's eyes to lull into the back of her head, and as it cums for a second time, she responds with her own orgasm, her pussy massaging the things dick as they cum together. Then, just as quickly as all of this happened, it left her in the dust, her pussy dripping out the white fluid as she lays there trying to recover from the ordeal. Even though she did enjoy it, she still planned to make whoever made this game pay dearly for doing this to her.

Deliverance stands up and brushes herself off, doing her best to wipe the sticky substance off of her before heading towards the door to try and leave, only to find it wouldn't budge, and that she was stuck in this dungeon or whatever. With a annoyed sigh, she pulls out her digivice and tries to log out. If that was to fail... Well, it seems her only choice was to press forward and attempt to finish the dungeon before deciding what to do next.

The temperature turns baking hot so quickly that it actually pisses Lina off. Why the hell would someone program something like this!? HOW the hell could someone program something like this!? Even in the real world, the temperature would gradually change, slowly leading her from the comfortable weather to hell on earth. And don't even get her started on the humidity! It'd have been better if she went swimming in the ocean! At least then she'd expect to feel like she's underwater! And what kind of funky sense does it make for a DESERT to be humid!? Deserts are notoriously dry! One of the things that makes them desert is the low amounts of rain it gets each year after all. She thinks. She's not a geography teacher after all. Anyways, hot and humid should be more of a tropical jungle thing, shouldn't it? And all this avoids the question of how the hell she can feel all this in the first place! She knows this is definitely not VR since she can't feel a headset (she's checked) and no VR set up in existence is 5D. At least she assumes it uses the basic five senses, but she hasn't tasted anything to be sure.

She looks over to Foxy to see how she's handling the climate shift. Perfectly fine is the answer. Her Digimon must be used to the climate or the shifts in such because it doesn't even look like Foxy notices the things that have pissed her off. The Digimon's still happy as a clam, hopping alongside Lina without a care in the world. She's also not showing any sign of fatigue, but Lina needs something to work her frustration out on and Foxy Lady is the closest thing to her. So she picks up the adorable little Digimon and begins petting her. The Digimon doesn't weigh that much so it's very easy to carry her. Actually, the thing feels like it barely weighs anything at all. Weird... then again she's finding everything about this game weird. At some point, she's really going to have to figure out if something's really off or if she's hopelessly paranoid. Or both. The two aren't mutually exclusive after all. She supposes she'll need to see more of the world to find out. Pulling her Digivice out, she looks for a map to see if there's a town programmed nearby. If there is, she'll head there to see what that's like. If not, then she'll just head North. Going to a mountain range should give her more to compare it to see if she can figure what the hell is up with this place.

As the group travels, Sera finds her gaze drawn to the sea and the strange transmissions towers standing out in the water. She idly wonders what purpose they served, but not for long as it seems even the slightest lapse will put her behind in the conversation with her two chatty new friends. Sera lets Reina and Michelle do most of the talking, but when it comes up, she does talk about how she enjoys classic rock, mostly from hand me downs from her parents, the pop albums she got from her older sister never interested her much. She also told them about how much of her free time was devoted to sports, tennis in particular suited her due to her strength and endurance. She had also played soccer and been in track back in high school, but tennis had gotten her a scholarship she desperately needed to attend college.

As Sera smiles and listens to Reina's story about her band, she's distracted by Lance tensing up in her arms and growling. Her gaze turns forward to see what the fuss is about, only to see a swarm of bubbles heading her way. Normally this would have been odd, but not alarming, however Lance's reaction had Sera on edge and drove her to dive out of the way, no matter how ridiculous it looked. Her instincts proved correct as she heard Reina cry out in pain behind her, though the enemies before her meant she didn't have time to check on her friend. Sera's protective nature had her standing between the monsters and the wounded Reina before she even really thought about it, while Lance stood between Sera and the monsters. She was proud her Digimon seemed to have taken after her somewhat, but that would have to wait. She looked to her Digivice to see if it offered any sort of tutorial on how to fight, but all she got as she sifted through the menus was a weapon that materialized into her hand. It was a sword... made of what seemed to be styrofoam. Even though it seemed absurd to use such an ineffectual weapon, this was a game after all so Sera held in both hands in front of her all the same. "We need to stay calm! We outnumber them two to one, so let's take a deep breath and do our best." She calls out, as much for her own sake as her panicking friends. Her father had taught her that putting on a brave front can do a lot to help people in a crisis, and that's certainly what this felt like.

Fight:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Tadpole creature stops, holding still as a statue for a moment, then suddenly darts forward toward Michelle, opening its mouth wide, then releases a jet of water, with a gargling sound, so powerful that it knocks her off her feat and leaves numerous deep gashes all over her body, each oozing the cube-shaped, red droplets into the air, which dissipate after rising a few feet.

Michelle can't even react to the Tadpole's attack. "Ugh!" Michelle screams as she lets out a guttural cry. Bruised and beaten, Michelle falls to the ground flat on her ass. As she loses consciousnesses, Viximon rushes to her tamer's side. Once Viximon reaches Michelle's side, she begins to dissipate, reconfiguring into a cloud of colorless cubes before being pulled directly into Michelle's Digivice.

Reina was off on the sidelines nursing her wounds. She'd calmed down enough to watch the proceeding fight, and when she saw the nasty hit Michelle took, she grew worried for their odds. It was clear to her that this was a real fight, and she didn't know the consequences of losing... but then, Reina smiled widely. "Okay... R-Raindrop, I'm going to rely on you a little to fight well for me~" This could be fun after all.

Raindrop stared down the Crabmon, identifying it as an enemy and quickly deciding on a plan of attack. It ran over to it as quickly as it could hop, and spat out a dark ball of energy at the Digimon. It must have been surprised by its younger enemy's sudden attack as the dark burst hit it in the face, seeping into its open eyes and blinding the wild Digimon. Raindrop was sure to drop back just enough to dodge any incoming counter attacks from it.

Crabmon eats the attack and stumbles backwards, then side to side as it shook its body. The creature manages purge the darkness from its eyes, then immediately charges forward at Raindrop, striking it with its larger claw, however despite the large and threatening appearance to the claw, it only leaves a scratch on Raindrop.
While Raindrop was shaking off the hit, the third aquatic creature leaps high into the air, sailing over the Crabmon, and rolled itself into a ball, becoming a spinning razorblade, striking Raindrop with its sharpened spinal blades. The scratch this attack left, however, was barely noticeable.

Sera can do little more than growl helplessly as Michelle gets taken out, and her Digimon with her, leaving the odds less favorable than they had been a moment ago. "Lance, help Raindrop!" She calls out after a brief moment to analyze the situation. Her Digimon nods enthusiastically.... and proceeds to spit at the crab. Not the most impressive of attacks, but it seemed to hurt the crab at least.

Meanwhile, Sera doubts her ability to harm the crab, least of all with the ridiculous weapon she's been given. Instead, she turns her attention to the monster that had taken down Michelle, closing the gap between it and swinging the styrofoam sword with all her might. The satisfying thwack that follows tells her that her weapon was somehow effective.

Things were going about as well as was reasonable for their team, she felt. Reina checked the cut on her arm once more to see if its condition changed... no, she was still bleeding. In any case it hurt less, so she could focus on other things. Sera was gonna need a bit of help with Michelle totally out of the fight.

"Okay... one, two!" With a huff, Reina pushed up from off the ground and stood on shaky legs. She had a pained expression on her face from the exertion, but her wide grin remained. Just the danger of this situation and the utter ridiculousness of it... was giving her a bit of a rush. The failure of a sword she'd been given would have to do for what she's planning. Reina eyed the most hurt of their enemies, and after a moment to calm herself some, she suddenly rushed at it with her weapon already in mid swing to crack against its head.

When Lance attacks the Crab, it stumbles backwards as if the spit had been acidic and burnt its shell, however the harm inflicted was not at all visible.

When Sera strikes the Tadpole Creature with her sword, it visibly shows that it felt serious pain from the strike and fell backwards, quickly attempting to roll away to keep from subjecting itself to further harm.

When Reina strikes the creature, it looks mildly irritated, and just kind of stares at her. Meanwhile, the tadpole creature charged towards Raindrop and released a barrage of bubbles, which struck with the force of a barrage of cannonballs, knocking Raindrop over.

Reina frowned. Stupid junky fake sword... she immediately pulled back to give herself time to react to any counterattacks, though none came from the crab Digimon who merely shrugged it off. Reina briefly took a moment to look over the battle again, and noticed her own pet get tossed away by a strong attack it couldn't defend against. "Oh... well, that's bad~" Of course, her happy smile didn't change. You had to hurt a little to get something out of it, right? "Don't slow down now, Raindrop... you have to finish off this crab for me~" As focused as she was on Raindrop's fight, she didn't notice her wound had stopped bleeding.

Despite its tamer's orders, Raindrop was having some difficulty getting up. That last hit took a lot out of it and it barely resisted getting dazed from the force of it... still, its tamer was telling it what's for, so that's what it had to do. Raindrop struggled to get itself upright, then it charged the wounded crab, trying to take it out of the fight with a sudden and desperate body rush.

The Crab evades the attack entirely, then while Raindrop was stumbling from the miss, the Gizamon rolls into a buzzsaw again and strikes Raindrop so heavily with its attack that it immediately breaks apart into a cloud of transparent cubes which return to Reina's Digivice.

The Crab sidesteps Reina and swings its claw, creating a large yellow shockwave of energy which flies at Lance at high speed.

It was hard to watch Reina's cute little Digimon endure the beating it was taking, and even sadder still when Raindrop finally succumbed to its wounds and disappeared like Michelle's. Lance growls angrily, none too pleased with this either. He nimbly sidesteps the energy wave that flies towards him and counter attacks with his spit that had been so effective last time as well.

Sera wishes she could do more to help, but she can't risk turning her back on the tadpole she's engaged with. This thing was surprisingly fast. It was starting to deftly evade her sword swings after the first one had landed.

When Lance spits on Crabmon again, the creature shudders for a moment, then suddenly erupts into a cloud of cube-shaped particles, which quickly scatter into the air and vanish.

Reina watched as her Digimon was defeated with wide eyes, surprised that the pet she had so recently acquired had been so quickly brushed aside. The pinkette had feared for the worst when she went to quickly check her Digivice to see what happened, but she let out a sigh of relief. Her Digimon had returned to her beaten, but alive. "That was a scare... I wouldn't be so sure of how to find another one."

Back to the fighting then. Reina looked to the Otamamon as the crab was just defeated. Wordlessly, she tried to strike at it with her balsa wood sword, but her attack was neatly dodged by her opponent.

What follows is a tense exchange of blows, both sides narrowly dodging and countering to no avail. Sera can feel that she's starting to breath heavily, but thanks to all her training, she knows she still has stamina to spare. The next time Otamamon evades Lance's blow, Sera gets a good enough read on it's movements that she's already there, bringing her sword crashing down on it while it was still dodging. "This one's almost down!" Sera calls out to Reina as she takes a step back and holds her sword defensively, making sure to position herself so she still had vision on both monsters.

"Riiight~" Reina was already charing in just after Sera called out to her. The pink-haired popular girl's weapon was swinging through the air towards Otamamon, smashing it down harshly onto its head. Finally! After that long string of misses, they've turned the tides!

"Great work, Reina!" Sera shouts, smiling now as they avenge Michelle. Now it was just the three of them against the one remaining monster. To it's credit, the Gizamon seemed determined not to go down without a fight, deftly evading all their strikes, though their consecutive attacks left it with no real openings to land any hits of it's own.

While the Gizamon is preoccupied with one of her companions, Sera manages to sneak around behind it and land a solid hit at it's blind spot. "I'm your opponent, stand and fight me!!" She shouts afterwards, drawing the creature's attention in an attempt to create another opening for her friends to exploit. The creature takes her bait and turns to retaliate, an opportunity Lance doesn't miss and launches another volley of harmful spit to finally end this battle.

The creature explodes into transparent cubes, just like the other two creatures they had defeated, after which the cloud dissipates. After the enemies had all been defeated, the girls' Digivices show on-screen that they now have 25% scan data of each of the three Digimon, and one Type Experience for each of them as well.

Sera lets out a sigh of relief as their last enemy disappears into a cloud. Her Digivice lights up with some new information that doesn't make any sense to her. That is of little concern to her at the moment though, instead Sera rushes to where Michelle had fallen, kneeling at the other girl's side. "Michelle? Can you hear me? Wake up!!" Sera might not normally be concerned as this was just a game, but from the sound of it, the pain that Michelle and Reina felt had been very real.

Michelle let out a soft groan as she slowly opened her eyes. Her body still sore after being knocked out cold by that other digimon. With a painful cough, Michelle turned her eyes to Sera. "S-Sera? What happen? I remember being attacked and then everything went dark" She said as she tried to get up. "Wait, where's Vee?" Michelle said as she frantically scanned the area. It was then that she checked he digivice and saw Viximon safely inside.

She clapped her hands together, dusting them off after their work with a wide grin as she looked on at the empty space their enemies were. "That takes care of that..." Reina nodded to herself. Now, she turns on her heel to head over to Sera and the downed Michelle. Her usual cheerful smile had returned, despite the gash still on her arm. "We fought them off, silly! Don't worry, we made sure to hit the guy who got you extra hard, too~" Reina helped Michelle up, but quickly ended up shoving that task to Sera as the cut on her arm flared in pain, as he adrenaline was lowering. "Ahaha... sorry. But that was fun~!"

"Easy now, not too quickly or you could faint again..." Sera says as she helps gently Michelle up into a sitting position first, then to her feet if she felt up to it. "Your Digimon simply vanished after you got knocked out. I guess they can't fight without us." She explains as she examines Michelle for any wounds that may need treatment before turning her attention to Reina. "It was... pretty exciting , I gotta say. Are you feeling alright though? It seemed like you two actually felt pain when you got hit? I didn't know that was possible for a game like this... I wonder why they would put something like that in." Sera muses as she notices the cut on Reina's arm. It struck Sera as odd that Reina seemed so upbeat now after she was clearly in a lot of pain before the fight started, but perhaps that was just adrenaline. "We should take a break so you two can recover. This game seems pretty tough, so we'd be in a tough spot if we had another fight while you two were still hurt. I'll keep watch, since I didn't get take any hits." It was meant as a suggestion, but Sera's usual stern tone likely made it sound more commanding than that.

Deliverance McCalmont/LittleManKitten
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Deliverance's body aches, as though she was trampled by a thousand horses, and moving about the Pyramid's stone hallways takes great effort.

Upon attempting to exit the Pyramid, Deliverance finds that the stone door will not budge, not even an inch. It's as if the stone door had sealed itself shut the moment she entered. Deliverance would have to find another way out of the stone pyramid.

Activating her Digivice first reveals that it's displaying 200% Scan Data for the Vi-Elecmon that had just raped her. Exiting that and attempting to log out of Digimon Online causes a red and black "Error" window to open over the open the moment she selects it. Beyond this, no explanation is given for why the error occurs.

After this fails, Deliverance chooses to continue navigating her way through the Pyramid. Going back the way she had come, where she had encountered the Vi-Elecmon only takes her down more winding stone hallways, all of which looked exactly the same. After traveling for some time, with no way of checking whether she was actually making progress through the Pyramid or not, Deliverance starts hearing footsteps behind her.

Lina Hayes/MiscChaos
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Immediately after Lina has concludes that a desert is a desert because of the lack of rain, storm clouds gather overhead at lightning speed, and then begin pouring rain on her. The rain, however, upon striking the desert sand, sinks in immediately as if the sand were like a sponge. After raining heavily for about an hour, the clouds stop and disappear as quickly as they arrived.

Checking her Digivice, Lina finds that the map of the continent she's on only has the areas, not the cities, causing her to therefor just travel north. However, as she continues traveling, Lina has trouble seeing the end of the desert, as if the sand just continues onward infinitely.

After some time, Lina starts to hear footfalls nearby, however when she checks behind her, she doesn't find anything. The moment Lina turns back away from the direction she was looking, searing pain shoots from her shoulder, down her arm. Checking the area that the pain was located, she finds that cube-shaped bits, like multidimensional pixels, are rising from the charred surface of her shoulder and sleeve, and flames are still burning on what's left of said sleeve, as if she had been struck by a fireball. Turning back to face behind her, she finds a dinosaur-like creature with smoke pouring from its mouth, heavily implying it to be the culprit The creature had black skin with blue markings, sharp teeth, and green eyes.

Michelle LaDroix/Mark3000
Reina Shiraishi/MrBlah
Sera Evans/Blue56
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

While the other two are resting, Sera keeps watch. The area around them remains calm for the duration of their rest, the waves in the distance gently breaking against the rocks, and the wind gently blowing the trees and grass nearby.

While guarding the resting girls, Sera can see in the distant break in the mountain range, circling the desert, a red dinosaur-like creature with black markings across its body, and wing-like ears on top of its head. She can recognize the creature as the one listed in the alerts on her Digivice. As of right now, the creature doesn't look as if it notices her, however it's starting to move towards the other mountains, which would take it out of her sight range. Meanwhile, if she were to go after it, her companions are not done resting.

Alexis Amassa/KallenKrede
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Alexis chooses to enter the Pyramid for training.

As soon as she tugs on the stone door to the Pyramid, it swings open as if it has no wait to it, the dust and heat from inside the stone structure blowing in her face immediately. Looking inside, she finds that the interior is pretty dark, the lack of light preventing her from seeing clearly inside.

The moment she takes a step into the structure, however, torches on the stone walls light up seemingly on their own, allowing her to see all of the cracked stone tiles making up the floor, and solid stone bricks making of the walls. Through the flickering light, she can see that the stone hallway forms a maze before her, the paths breaking off at multiple points ahead of her, both to the left and right, giving her three places to turn off the main path before ending in a a two-direction break instead of three.

Besides the flickering torches and the soft cracking of the floor and walls around her, the interior of the Pyramid is almost entirely silent. Alexis can, otherwise, only hear her own soft breathing.
