Cresca considered her options... which means that she stood there, cupping her chin as she tried to think of some ingenious plan that her master usually makes, and fails. She really wished he had been more detailed with his orders, but nothing could be done about it now. The idea of going to the goblins for help seemed more tempting... but the possible price they'd ask for still seemed to great. She knows her master wouldn't accept what she'd do, but... if it were the price of achieving his mission, maybe he'd be more lenient with her punishment?

She shuddered. He obviously wouldn't, that was just wishful thinking.

But even so, she'd rather have a team of expendable comrades behind (or rather, in front of) her who could distract or otherwise impede any enemy that'd attempt to do her harm, than go in alone and possibly lose her life... she made up her mind, turning in the direction of the forests and marching on. Her punishment will most likely be severe as usual and leave her exhausted and in pain on a cold hard floor, but at least she'd be alive enough to feel pain, to begin with. And maybe if she's lucky, the goblins would wish to help her for free? Or maybe even simply want a look, and no more?

Gorbaz Wrote:(Jade)

The upper area of the barn seemed to be a good place to deposit your equipment, and with the simple effort of shifting around a couple of hey bales, you are able to place what gear you desire into an area where prying eyes would not easily find. Moving back to the barn proper, the stallion continued to watch you as you moved closer, stamping its foot as you reached the door to his specific section. While it seems that he has little interest in letting you in to look around, it is clear from his pen that somebody has visited him recently as, curiously, there are a couple of well-sealed buckets in his stall, one of which seems to have something slick and wet in the corners, but you cannot tell for sure unless you actually ventured into the stall to have a closer look.

Using your arcane knowledge, however, you are able to determine that the stallion could be called with your power and be used as a steed. However, to fully bind the beast to you would require a ritual to be performed, rather than relying on put luck if he actually happens to be the nearest useable creature. Such a ritual would take time to complete, and normally require the knowledge of the true name of the one being bound, but as beasts do not have them, then it might be a bit tricky. The only other way you know of would be to draw out some of his essence and keep it in a receptacle on your person, similar to a phylactery. Or, you could just steal it...

The more she looked at him the more she was sure about getting him as a summonable steed... yes, how could she miss a chance like this? Such good stallions were hard to come by, and even harder to get a chance to gain as summons. Looking around she noticed the buckets and wondered what they could ever be used for, denying the chance of the being full of feces due to the lack of excessive bad smell, but such curiosity didn't last long as she instead began to think about ways to complete the ritual.

Essence, that was what she needed, essence. And yet what could she use? She had to either draw blood or get other... "liquids", but the ways to get both had their pro and cons. The blood would be painful for the horse to draw but easy to handle and carry around, whereas the other source of essence... it was easier to extract yet also much more disgusting to both get and afterwards handle. Unable to make up her mind about what to do, for the moment Jade decided that it'd be the best to first get into the stall and take an even closer look to her possible future steed, as well as what was in those buckets.

Momentarily enraptured by the shard's power, Nyx basks in the mana flow for a while, absorbing any energy she can. So much power in there. Perhaps enough energy so the shard exist in both realms? She reaches her hand to touch it, to check if it feels solid enough, perhaps even if she could move it... just a little to not provoke the other spectres. Taking the crystal with her, even if she could, doesn't sound like good idea. The power is enticing, but the other ghosts would almost certainly be angered if she tried to take the shard from them. Nyx focuses on them for a bit, trying to discern their form, to see if one of them looks familiar: she wasn't the only woman in her group, and even if she didn't see them during her imprisonment, some of her companions may have shared her fate. Even if not, perhaps she could learn something from their appearance.

The outward flow also seem interesting. She was planning to explore rest of the dungeon anyway, and this seem to give her clear goal: find the target of the flow, and perhaps she'll find the creator of this shard, and maybe even some answers about her own condition. Or at least be warned about possible greater threat. Taking the shard with her would help if she ran into trouble, but she feels powerful enough already, and it's not like it's going anywhere, or as if it would be hard to find again. Further exploration is the next in her list, focused on following the outward flow, using her new-found magic senses to detect any other anomaly, and looking for any signs of life... or unlife not already drawn in here by the shard.
If it takes me two weeks or more to respond to a RP without prior notice, send me a PM. It's more likely I've missed the last post, forgot or got distracted and need a little reminder rather than deciding to drop the game without warning.

Nuria decided not to take chances with the non-monster races as he walked. He had walked for much of his current life, one more day didn't really faze him. He focused on the road and for the most part ignored any carriages or whatever else might pass by him. Normally he would be on the look out for some monsters that would want a fight but given how busy the road is the chances of something like that happening were very slim. His telepathic vision would tell him if something were to try and sneak up on him anyway. Probably. His vision was not infallible, and while he could see more than just what's right in front of him anything not where he head was turned was very blurry and it could be hard to distinguish a bird from a monster if it was behind him.

While Nuria walked he considered what might be at the fort. He was mostly expecting some trace echoes of the old demon lord that was once there, perhaps even an old monster servant that would hopefully be cooperative. There might be even some journals or diaries of the old soldiers stationed there that could shed some light on what happened. It would not tell him the purpose of the demon lord, but it should tell him what to expect in his quest to find out.
I hurt you, I heal you, I hurt you again. That's the pattern.

Henrietta gently caressed Marik's hair as he buried his face in her bosom. "Well Marik, what brings you to this humble wagon" Henrietta said in a low seductive voice. She continued to shake her bosom in the Halfling's face as she rubbed her ass his cock even harder. If she was lucky, she could get him to blow his load without actually taking his member inside herself.

Amy grins at the hold she was having over this girl a grin upon her face she uncrosses her legs and reveals her 'holy staff' to the girl, the pillar of flesh throbbing almost beckoningly at the girl. "Come, have a taste of my divine essence and be marked as my herald, speaker and my voice to your village, you shall lead the way to transforming their lives in greater service to the goddess." She calls out to her in the dreamworld, the distance between them shrinking as if she was being drawn in by an unknown force, leading her to commit the carnal act.
