Crimson Marauders

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

It is said that housed in the Northern Range, at the base of the mountains is an abandoned fort. This fort once served as an outpost for the human kingdom of Artoria. However, now it plays host to new tenants, the Crimson Marauders. When the capital of Luxburg fell, many of the knights stationed there fled. The rest were easy pickings for the band of raiders.

Elisa and Kurth find themselves inside the fort, in front of what use to be the Knight Commander’s room. It had since been claimed by the Crimson Marauders’ leader, Betsy Ravager ( http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2051092 ).

“Come in” says a voice from behind the doors. As you walk in, you see giant piles of treasure and other ill-gotten goods. Sitting on a stone stoll sat Betsy as she polished her greataxe, Onyx. “So you two are the new blood huh?” Betsy said as she laid down her axe and approached you. “I know you were coming Elisa. Your Mum and Pops are really helping us out in Nightvale. You on the other hand are an interesting case fox boy. We don’t get many High Borne here” She said as she gave you both a quick look.

“Well I got a few jobs for you two to take. Once you finish up, you’ll be full fledged members of the guild.” Betsy said with a smirk.

“First, I need one of you to pick up a girl in White Swallow Port. It turns out a few of those Luxburg blue bloods survived the demon invasion. From what I’ve hear she’s a real beaut too. We get our hands on her and we can make quite a bit of coin. Though she does have a bit of an entourage. But I’m sure you can take care of them. But remember, we need her alive.”

“The second job comes at the request of some cultists near the Temple of Jörmungandr want us to lift something from one of the snake god’s temples. Called themselves the Order of Ouroboros. I don’t know much about them but they’re paying good coin for this gem so it’s none of my business”

“The last job I’ve got for you is a simple raid on a village. Vestalia and the Dryads are busy dealing with the demons. It’s the perfect time to hit one of the Dryad villages along the border. For this job, the two of you have free reign. Take what you want, and then take more. Food, money, slaves just name it. But remember, everything you take belongs to the guild.”

“So what do you two think? Anything pique your interest?”

Starlight Knight

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

By the lake stood an old cathedral. It was one of the first structures built by humans when they landed on the continent. After the follower of Luma outgrew the old church, they moved to the Luma Sanctuary. However, the old cathedral still had it uses. After the invasion of the Hellion Crusade, it served as a refugee camp for displaced humans. Now, the Cathedral of Light acts as the headquarters for the Starlight Knights.

Maximillian and Fenrir had been called to the command room by Emilia Starlight ( http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/2220971 ). Though she was young, it was her strong spirit and excellent swordsmanship that kept the remnants of the royal knights together. She was responsible for forming the Starlight Knights and convincing the Clerics of the Luma Sanctuary to let them use the old cathedral as a base.

When you enter the command room you see Emilia reviewing a few maps on a large table. Beside her were two people in shackles. One was a beastwoman with tentacles for legs. The other was a demon with six arms.

“Maximillian, Fenrir. It’s good to see you two. This is Xie the Witch and her demon familiar. She will be starting her rehabilitation with the knights. While normally we wouldn’t do this, we are short on people and need all the help we can get. “ She said as the Arch Succubus gave her a glare.

Letting out a small cough, Emilia continues. ”I’m hoping the three of you could work together. I have a few assignments I’d like you to consider.”

“The first is a retrieval mission. Some of our agents have been trying to track down the missing members of the Alta Royal Family. And we may have found one. Rumors say that the eldest princess, Lady Caledonia has been spotted hiding in White Swallow Port with a few royal guards. I need you to find her before the Hellion Crusade or some other malcontents find her.”

“The second mission comes at the request of the Council of Fangs. There is word of a cult called the Order of Ouroboros that has been growing in influence. They practice a dark form of magic which required them to make a pact with a demonic beast. The Council worries that the cult is planning its most dangerous ritual yet. They want us to come to the Temple City of Jörmungandr and led our aid.

“The last mission is a simple raid on a demon outpost. They’ve started to move south towards Faunaflora and seem to be trying to get a foothold. We can’t let the Hellion Crusade spread their influence any further. Once you’ve scouted out the outpost, I need you to kill the demon leading them and destroy their base.”

“I’ll leave which mission you take to your judgement. You can either work together or alone on the mission of your choosing” Emilia said as she sat back in her chair.

When Elisa entered the room, her eyes immediately set upon the various treasures within. She hadn't expected the leader of the Crimson Marauders to be so wealthy, but you learn new things everyday. Elisa then turned her attention on her new boss, looking her up and down as she sized her up. I bet she'd be rough in the bed... She thought to herself. Despite being distracted by what she set her eyes on, Elisa was listening with rapt attention, and immediately caught onto the first job's description. It sounded much funner than the other ones. "I'll take the first one." She said, immediately after her boss was done talking. The earliest bird gets the best worm, right?

She glanced at the person next to her, giving him the same treatment she gave to her boss. One of the beastfolk, it appeared. And a High Borne. She mentally smiled. She always liked those beasts, they never disappointed her when she wanted them. And if her very accurate eyes weren't deceiving her, he'd keep up to his people's reputation.

Max was torn. As a knight, her oaths demanded that she serve the royal family and protect their child. On the other hand a demon summoning was a threat to many innocents which her principles demanded her to save. In both cases there were innocents at risk and Max feared she wouldn't have time to help both.

One solution to this dilemma was to split up. Fenrir was a capable person and probably could deal with a mission by himself. If needed she could also leave Xie to him as a support though the witch may prove a bigger liability then aid. Max didn't trust Xie and would rather keep her close so she could keep an eye on her. There was also the fact that by splitting up like that, they would be dividing their manpower also. If things went bad they wouldn't be able to help each other.

"Lady Emilia. You say that the royal family and the temple city needs our help and i don't feel comfortable with leaving neither. Both as a knight and a familiar face, i am a good choice for escorting the princess to safety. Yet i fear that i might be abandoning the temple city and it's inhabitants to a cruel fate. One solution is to split up, yet it is also a risk as cooperation is the core of our strength."

Max turned his attention to her companion. "What do you think Fenrir?"

Fenrir took a moment to take in the situation. He couldn't help pity the creature before him, chained up as she was, but memories of feral beast men wandering Luxaria left those feelings of pity rather tempered. Xie was it? Time will tell if she could be of use.

He wasn't quite sure what he thought of his commander though. She seemed quite young to be the one leading the Starlight Knights. Well, he'd withhold judgment there as well. She was supposed to be quite capable.

So a babysitting mission, stopping a dangerous cult or a straight on attack. He couldn't ignore the reason in the knights words so he suppressed his desire to get some revenge on the Demons with the straight on attack and considered the other options. Well, splitting up could be dangerous, but saving a member of the royal family might help them acquire sorely needed assets. Ignoring the cult could have some disastrous consequences too. "I think you make a lot of sense Max", Fenrir said turning to the knight, "I don't enjoy the thought of splitting up, especially since we really don't know what we will be facing if we challenge that cult. They don't sound like the run of the mill crazies that some cults tend to be". Shifting his gaze to the Lady Emilia he continued, "nor do I think we can leave Lady Caledonia alone if she's exposed. If it is she, and we found her, someone else might have been able to find her too. So commander, if you think it is something we can handle, the two of them can deal with the cult. That mission probably needs the manpower. I'll see if I can bring back Lady Caledonia safely. However, if there's a better way to go at it I don't mind doing either mission in whichever group is required".

Kurth stood before the Knight Commander's room wondering just what he was in for. When they were called in, he couldn't help but notice the treasure piled throughout the room. His father had certainly never seen fit to just leave wealth laying around in big piles like that, so it was more than he'd ever really seen in one place even if his father had never really been to open with the family finances with him.

He grimaced when she mentioned he was High Borne in front of the woman beside him. He'd been surprised in how shrewd they had been in digging that up when he'd given them nary a hint to his lineage, but it was far worse to hear her just out him in front of some other stranger like that. He considered just an outright denial, but he doubted there was a point. The woman beside him wouldn't believe it anyway. "Do you really have to go spreading that around willy-nilly? I changed my name for a reason you know." He let her continue once he'd made his complaint though he was still a bit bothered with how easily she just let it slip.

As she continued on he listened to the offered jobs. He was about to ask for the first job, but before he could get the first word out the woman beside him was all over it. That left him either helping cultists defile a temple of Jörmungandr, or getting a bit too close to home for some raiding even if it was near the border. Well, he knew he'd have to pull something like this sooner or later when he joined, so he might as well get started. "I'll take the cultist job then."

Xie watches the so called righteous knights of the order enter the room, a slight scowl on her face. She wraps one of her tentacles around her demon protectively, though the demon was very capable in combat.

"Are these to be my new tormentors? They don't appear like much, am I going to have to babysit them? Or better yet, watch them succumb to their lust and fall to hands and knees before a true master, a demonic master."

She knew she would at the very least be yelled at, if not beaten. But the punishment was worth it as the grin spread across her, and the demon's face. She knew she couldn't harm them, or in any way go against them, and she knew she couldn't allow her demon to harm or go against them...but she could certainly dream of the day they all fell to Lillion's might.

Crimson Marauders
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With that settled, Betsy smiles and leans back. "I didn't say anything that wasn't obvious. Most High Borne beastfolk are either part fox, snake, tiger or dragon. But if you wanna keep you story to your self, fine by me."

Getting up, the bandit leader grabs a pair coin bags and tosses one to Elisa and Kurth "Take this (Get 100 Coins each) and meet up with Oliver out by the stables and he'll set up transportation. Plus he'll give you a few more details on the job. Good luck you two" Betsy said as she dismisses the two of you. As you exit the main room, you enter the fort proper.

It was still in a state of disrepair. Creeping vines covered the wall as broken weapons and bloodstains still littered the halls. But that didn't seem to bother the vagabonds that called the Bloody Hold home. You have yet to explore the hold fully. The hold consisted of three floors and a basement. The old Knight Commander's Room was on the third floor. The second floor was mainly lodgings and storerooms. The first floor was a large hall where most other Marauders. Finally there was the basement. When the fort was operational, it served as a prison for criminals. Now it was used to house captives.

Starlight Knight
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Emilia crossed her fingers as she took a moment to think on the situation. Xie's outburst only made things worst for the young commander. "Silence Xie! Lest we hand you over to the Council of Fangs. Unlike us, you won't get a second chance with them." Emilia said as she tried to regain her composure. "Fenrir, Maximillian, I have the utmost confidence in your abilities. Though it seemed Maximillian would be a better choose to retrieve Princess Caledonia. She was the one that saved the young Princess Esther." She said as she stood up and unshackled Xie and her companion while leaving the control armlets on.

Reaching to the table, Emilia gave all three of you a bag of coins (Get 100 Coins each). " Here, take these with you. Once you three decide how you're going to approach these missions, go see Minerva by the sables. She'll help arrange your transportation and supplies. For now you are dismissed" She says as she escorts you out of the Command Room. As Maximillian and Fenrir check their coin sacs, they noticed a slip of paper.
"To activate Xie's Control Armlets, use the keyword 'Bind' and point to the ground"

With that tidbit tucked away, all three of you enter the halls of the old cathedral. From the second floor, the lake is clearly view able from the window. Below you on the first floor of the cathedral was the main chapel. While clerics still used the space for worship, it had become the main mess hall and meeting place for guild members. Located outside the cathedral inside the courtyard were a small make shift barracks and the stables where you can find Minerva.

Max gave a quick salute to Emilia before the guild master left her alone with Fenrir and Xİe. After checking the coin sack given to her, Max turned her attention to saner one of her companions while keeping an eye on the other.

"Well, it seems you get to deal with the cultists Fenrir. So the question now is which one of us is going to have to suffer the wonderful company of the miss demon-lover there. While i would normally prefer to bring her with me, so i can keep a close eye and tight leash on her, you might need the extra firepower more than i do. Do you think you can handle her?"

While Max was confident of her ability to ignore the petty insults and taunts of Xie, she wasn't sure if Fenrir could show the same restraint. There was also the fact that whoever of them got saddled with Xie would also have to watch her lest she create more problems. It made Max question the usefulness of the beastwoman. Especially since it was evident that Xie wasn't actually willing to be rehabilitated.

She gave her boss a confident smile, taking the pouch of gold and pocketing it. "How generous. I'll be back with the girl, but I hope you don't need her wholly untouched." She emphasized that specific word, implying what she most definitely intended to do to said girl. It was the reason why she took the mission to begin with. Once they both were dismissed, she flashed the High Borne a smile and another interested look. "Hope you do well on your mission, foxy." And with that said, she spun on her heel and walked out of the room.

Instantly, she almost wanted to go back inside. She didn't appreciate the dirtiness of the fort, and wondered why they hadn't had any servants clean the place a bit. She guesses that's to be expected from an organization with most of the members being dirty bandits... even so, a lady like her shouldn't be forced to deal with all this. Despite her somewhat haughty thoughts, Elisa kept her expression schooled and serene. She's a Dhampir, after all. She began in the direction of the lodgings, intending to gather her bow and her arrows, along with her trusted best friend, Lulu. Can't forget her track dog.

She passed a few other marauders on the way, winking at a few of the more attractive ones. One specific marauder had especially caught her interest, and if she weren't busy, she'd have maybe 'convinced' him to help her blow of some steam. When she got to the lodgings, she immediately whistled in the air. For a moment, nothing happened, but in the moment after, a big quadrupedal animal came running at her from her front, carrying her quiver full of arrows and her bow. He had the strap of the quiver in his mouth, and the bowstring of the bow around the strap. One of the things her family taught Lulu to do is move weapons around, and this is one of those times her faithful dog managed to impress once more.

She grinned as he grew close enough to her, dropping her weapon and her ammo in front of her feet. She crouched down to pet the unruly animal. "Good boy, Lulu. You never disappoint." His response was to lick her face, coating her in his slobber. Were he any other dog, she'd be disgusted and pull back, but this was her faithful bloodhound. She laughed it off, giving him one last pat on the head and taking her equipment (while of course wiping her face). She donned the quiver and moved her bow to her back, before she stood up. "Alright. No more waiting around, buddy." She began to move in the direction of the stables, knowing where it was due to her asking someone on the way to the lodgings.

Kurth wasn't happy to hear most of the Knight Commander's explanation, but he was glad she would at least desist in telling people about it. He'd hoped no one would assume he was High Born simply because he was a fox, but she made it sound like the natural conclusion and that worried him. He took the offered coin. "I'll take care of the getting this Gem and return with the payment. Ma'am." He gave a sharp salute as he'd often seen his father do whenever he was dealing with other military personnel. To the Dhamphir he only gave a half-hearted, "Yeah, you too." before turning on his heel to stride out of the room.

His teeth clenched as he saw the mess of a hall outside once again. The place was a mess plain and simple, and few seemed inclined to get it dealt with. The walls were covered in creeping vines. The plants would probably tear the stonework into piles of rubble before the year was out, and he frequently found himself having to side-step broken weapons kicked into large piles. A decent blacksmith could probably salvage at least some of the metal, but these people probably armed themselves only with what was stolen. They'd have to discard the fort and find some new abandoned outpost soon enough for it not to matter anyway. If not because it had fallen apart maybe the next time they find an enemy at the gate. The place was probably indefensible in its current condition.

He considered heading straight for the stables to be off, but he did have some coin in his pocket. He could at the very least get a cloak to hide his face under, but chances were he could find some other supplies that might make infiltrating the church easier. Walking into one of the storerooms he turned on his usual winning smile and greeted the first person of importance he could find. "Excuse me, I'm on my way out for a mission. I was hoping I could get hold of some supplies to make it easier."

Fenrir looked Xie over. He didn't trust her, magick shackles or no. She was obviously tainted by the demons' influence. "I'll deal with cultists on my own", he said before he addressed Max, "if you feel like babysitting this creature be my guest. I don't trust the creature yet and I'd rather have my back clear then exposed to her. Her aid could be needed, but I'll wait until she has proven herself to some degree. Besides, I might be tempted to deal with that tongue of hers if she keeps that up". Well, he should be able to handle the cultists. All he needed to do was take it slow and careful.

"Guess that means she is coming with me. Well, let's go see Minerva then and get our transportation sorted out." Max replied to Fenrir before turning to Xie. "Follow me. Stay close" she ordered the witch them made her way down to the first floor, heading towards the stables.

Traveling: A Primer (Please Read!)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When traveling, you can set the pace at which you move. If you choose a faster pace, you’ll come across less encounters. But they’ll be more dangerous and you won’t be able to run away. However, a slower pace will allow you to avoid battles. Though you’ll run into more enemies this way.

Pace and Encounters:

Slow and Steady
Number of Encounters: 3
Peaceful to Combat Encounters: 60/40

Even Pace
Number of Encounters: 2
Peaceful to Combat Encounters: 50/50

Rushed Pace
Number of Encounters: 1
Peaceful to Combat Encounters: 40/60

Whenever you have a Peaceful or Combat Encounter, the chance of getting that same type of encounter drops by 15 (After a peaceful encounter, ratio goes from 60/40 to 75/25).

Between encounters, you can restore health by camping for a post. To camp requires firewood, food, maybe a tent if you wanna get fancy.

Crimson Marauders

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Elisa turns quite a few heads as she walks through the rundown fort. A few even whistle back.

With Lulu at your side, you go to meet Oliver. The boy looked younger then you. He was a thin young man with short light brown hair and goggles. His gray shirt and black jacket were covered in dirt as he brushed a few of the horses. "Yo! you must be Elisa. You're as fine as they say." He says as you catch him starring at your cleavage.

When you tell him the job you took, he nods. " So you're going to White Swallow? Nice. I heard the Alta Princesses are all fine honeys. When you get to the port, look for Hawk at the Cloud Burst Inn. He has a lead on her." He says as he loads a horse and cart with supplies. (Elisa gets Rope, Blindfolds and Rations and Firewood, Set your course!)

Meanwhile, Kurth stumbles across a portly shewolf in a large traveler's cloak. She had thick lips and large yellow eyes. Sitting on a crate, she took a bite out of a large drumstick.

Kurth Charm Roll (WIS, Easy): 8 + 2 = 10

When Kurth put on the charm, the wolf standing guard practically swoons. "My aren't you a pretty little thing." She says as she blushes. "Name's Henrietta. I've got a few things that might help." Henrietta says as she hands the foxy High Borne a cloak with a hood as well as four black orbs and a lockpicking set. "Here you go, A few smoke bombs and other things to help out. Maybe when you come back, you and me can have some fun here." Henrietta said as she flashes a bit of her flabby belly and large breasts.

Starlight Knight

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With your teams set-up, the three see a tall, older woman with long red hair and worn navy blue armor. But before they reach her, a young lady with curled green hair in a white dress comes running to you. "Dame Max!" Looking up Maxmillian sees the young princess Esther running up and give her a large hug. "You're going to find my Big Sis right Dame Max?" She said as she handed the knight a brooch with a dove carrying a branch. "Please show this to Caledonia and let her know I'm ok" She said with a teary expression.

"That's sweet of you Princess Esther. I have to get their horses and supplies ready." Minerva said as loaded up each horse with rations and prepared a cart to carry Xie. " Maxmillian, Sparrow was the one who found the Princess in White Swallow Port. You'll find him at the Cloud Burst Inn. Fenrir, you'll head to the Temple City of Jörmungandr. Look for Lila at the main temple. She's the one who asked for our help." With that said you were ready to go. (Get rations, Rope. Set your Course!)

"Well good luck then Max. I hope you manage to retrieve the Lady Caledonia safely", Fenrir said before sending a skeptical look at the tentacle witch that was to accompany him. "I hope that one won't be too much trouble". Hopefully he hadn't made a mistake taking on the cult himself leaving Xie to Max, but only time would show. He wouldn't faulter here he would push on, steadily, but slowly. As he saw the young lady approach Max he couldn't help, but be a bit touched. "I am certain the Lady Knight Maximillian will have your sister back safe and sound", he said trying to help console her. It would warm his heart that there would be a happy reunion for once, but any aid the Lady Caledonia could give was still on his mind. "Thanks Minerva. Lila at Jörmungandr. I won't let you down". Fenrir gathered his supplies and set of at an Even Pace.

Rather young to be a marauder, isn't he? Elisa thought, but didn't voice her opinion. Being apart of the Crimson Marauders at such a young age could only mean he had no choice in the matter. She doesn't need to butt in on anything personal. Instead, she flashed Oliver a smile, noticing exactly where his eyes were. She obviously wasn't offended. It's only natural, really. "Everyone's already talking about me? Looks like I've set a new record."

Still, she was on business and after she told him about her current job, she walked over to the horse to inspect... she believes it to be a her. Elisa was pleased to note that the horse was a fine steed, and would do her well on the ride. Her parents had taught her a bit about equines and, of course, horse-riding. She couldn't very well walk on foot all the time, nor could she ride on Lulu's back. Elisa patted the horse, before she grabbed her reigns, leading her new friend out of the stables. "Thanks for the ride. I'll take good care of her." She called behind her back.

"Oh," she paused for a moment and turned back to look at Oliver. "And if you were so interested in them, you should have asked if you could touch them."

After saying that, she turned back around sharply and proceeded forward. It'd be best if she took it easy, set an even pace on the road. No need to tire out her horse (although Lulu could definitely keep up) on her way to White Swallow, after all.

Kurth smiled as the woman handed him his supplies. Still got it. He threw the cloak over himself and pockets the four smoke bombs and lockpicks. These could certainly be very useful for this mission. He looked over the wolf. She certainly had some curve to her though maybe a little more of it in the belly than he'd have liked. Still, it wasn't too bad, and she could certainly still prove to be a fun little romp anyway. "I'm sure I can find some free time when I get back from my mission." Turning around he made sure to put in a little extra strut. It was never a bad idea to leave them wanting more after all.

With that finished Kurth made his way down to the stables. Stepping in he looked around for anyone likely before just approaching the first person he sees. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Oliver. He's supposed to have made preparations for my mission." Once he was sure he was certain he was talking to Oliver he'd get more specific. "Hello, I'm Kurth Fleetfoot. I'm supposed to be doing some work for the Order of Ouroboros." Then, once he had everything straightened out he'd take a nice steady pace toward his destination. No need to rush himself, but he didn't feel like milking the job either.

Before Max could reply to Fenrir, she spotted princess Eshter running towards them. The knight returned the princess's hug with a wide smile. Princess Eshter was one person Max was bound not just by duty but also by close friendship, young princess having wormed her way into her heart.

"Don't worry princess. I will bring back your sister, safe and sound." Max promised Eshter, giving her a reassuring smile before turning her attention to Minerva. She listened as Minerva briefed her on the details of her mission before going to check up on the provisions, making sure they were put into saddlebags and not onto cart where Xie could reach them.

"Fenrir. I wish you good fortune on your mission, hope you return safe and victorious." Max called out to Fenrir when their preparations were done, clasping forearms with the druid before he went on his separate way.Max mounted saddled horse prepared for her with ease born from experience. Her attention then fell onto Xie.

"Xie, was it? Get on the cart."

Fenrir Ursa: Encounter 1, Combat

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Fenrir rides through the plains of Faunaflora making good time on his way to the temple. Suddenly his horse stops and jumps around in fear. Looking up, the druid sees what's scarring his steed so much. Crawling out in the open were two void horror (https://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/wowwiki/images/9/96/Fleshbeast.png/revision/latest?cb=20070118034128). With the portal open in Luxburg, monsters like these have been appearing more and more. They haven't noticed Fenrir so he still has a chance to run.

Elisa Laveau: Encounter 1, Peaceful

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Traveling down the road, you see a small camp of humans just sitting by a bonfire. They seemed to be having a jolly ole time toasting each other. "Ahoy there traveler, how do you do?" One of them says. He was an elderly man with a beard accompanied by two young women that appeared to be his daughters

Kurth Fleetfoot: Encounter 1, Peaceful

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Kurth found Oliver preparing a horse for Kurth. Once you find him, the young marauder shakes his hand. "Yea yea! the Order of Ouroboros. The chick who gave us the job was a little creepy. But man was she fine." He said with a smirk as he loaded up rations and firewood. "Go to a camp south of the Temple City of Jörmungandr. Look for a Servia and she'll tell you what you need. Good luck"

Making his way through the plains, Kurth happens upon a small farm. He could see a small orchid of apples behind the house. Though on the first tree, the foxkin sees a sign that says "Do Not Touch"

Maximillian von Hohensarch & Xie the Witch: Encounter 1, Combat

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Traveling north towards the port, the two knights feel the ground shake. The horse comes to a stop as Max and Xie look upon a lumbering Golem made of bones. Neither of them could see another magic user controlling the large behemoth, and it was practically ignoring the two of them. They could run the other direction, but leaving a golem like that running around could be dangerous.

Eleneir the Dragon Mage

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the newest member of the Starlight Knights, Eleneir was called by Lady Emilia to meet her. When she enters the command room, Eleneir sees the young knight reading through more notes. "Eleneir is that you?" Emilia asks as she stands up and salutes you. "I'm glad you can join us! I know it's sudden but I'll need you to head into the field. There are a few missions for you to consider."

“The first is a retrieval mission. Some of our agents have been trying to track down the missing members of the Alta Royal Family. And we may have found one. Rumors say that the eldest princess, Lady Caledonia has been spotted hiding in White Swallow Port with a few royal guards. I need you to find her before the Hellion Crusade or some other malcontents find her. I already have a knight and another beastfolk on their way to find her”

A druid by the name Fenrir is on his way to help.

"Whoah there buddy", Fenrir said with a calm voice as he started to his horse under control. He had been enjoying the peace and quiet, his mind drifting ahead trying see if he could remember anything else about the group of cultists he was heading towards. With his mind brought back to the present he started to look around for what was the cause of the disturbance.

It didn't take long though. Just as he looked up he saw them. Two void horrors. Demons. Fenrir did his best to hold the storm rising within him contained. Running inn head first would not be a good idea, but he'll be damned if he'll let any demon go if he could help it. Dismounting he readied for the attack.

He summoned up his strength granted to him by the Divine Tree sending a fungal missile towards them. Then with a roar his body started changing his inner bear coming forth.

The journey was slow, but nothing she hadn't experienced before. The trip was painfully quiet and dull, but compared to how it was to travel from her home in Nightvale all the way to the Northern Range, perhaps it was better that way. Elisa had quite a bit of excitement with that journey, after all...

Although, honestly. Something would have been preferable to nothing whatsoever. What were the odds that she'd not spot even a single... oh. Well, looks like they were as unlikely as she thought. She spotted a camp by a bonfire, seeing multiple bodies near it. It was rather easy to see, due to it being a little darker since she left the fort. She would bet that those three would be wiped out if bandits were too attack. Luckily for them, it was just her.

When the oldest one there had noticed and greeted her, she slowed her horse and waved politely with a smile. She can afford to socialize a bit and converse with... humans. Her horse was making good time, and her boredom was starting to become a noticeable problem.

To her side, Lulu merely slowed down at the same time she had and observed the group of people they had ran into. The bloodhound was more trusting than his owner, and was completely at ease around them.
