A gravitational singularity or space-time singularity is a location in space-time where the gravitational field of a celestial body becomes infinite in a way that does not depend on the coordinate system. The quantities used to measure gravitational field strength are the scalar invariant curvatures of space-time, which includes a measure of the density of matter. Since such quantities become infinite within the singularity, the laws of normal space-time could not exist.

A type of singularity predicted by general relativity is inside a black hole: any star collapsing beyond a certain point would form a black hole, inside which a singularity would be formed.

MONDAY, 2ND OF PATRIA'S FEBRUARY. 8:15 AM PLANETARY TIME. 6:38 PM BAYRIOS CAPITAL TIME.

Image

"Good morning, citizens of Patria! This is Lisa Lavender, from the Venturis News Network. We are here talking to you live from Patria, the newest place where Overlord Bayrios the great has set their sights on." The reporter spoke, calmly and matter of fact. "It's been over a month since the Overlord has ordered Council Member Sybille "Venus" Arrobestra to take this planet over, despite the fact there's a fleet of imperial ships surrounding the planet, the Councilwoman has been, as of yet, unable to fulfill her orders due to, according to her claims, the planet's "toxic" atmosphere. Her exact words were,"

The screen cut off to a recording of the Councilwoman herself, apparently addressing a group of reporters all at once with angry shout.

"I can't mobilize shit in this planet without my soldiers having to take "fuck breaks" every four damned hours. I am-"

The screen quickly cut back to Lisa Lavender, fixing up the papers containing her script. "Needless to say, Bayrios is displeased with their servant's incompetence and has recently sent a ship to aid in the efforts of taking the planet. Many have been theorizing that the reason behind sending such a small force is because Bayrios is sending one of their Edicts to resolve the situation. However, it has been a few years since the last of Bayrios's Edicts, and Patria is a known great source of promethium, a chemical element which, in case some of you don't know, we use both to warm up the interior of space stations, as well as sometimes used to power up laser weaponry batteries. Because of this, many theorize that Bayrios would be hesitant to obliterate this planet, as he did many others."

The camera suddenly moved up, revealing this set to be a small set up right by the landing spot of where said Civilian ship was going to land at. Now, in clear view of everyone, was the civilian ship which housed a few of Bayrios's forces and the messenger he had sent along with them.

"...Barry, pull the camera back to me, damnit!" Lisa's voice called out, her hand waving around the edge of it. *ahem* "Guess we'll find out soon! Stay tuned for more news in a few moments, after all, you don't want to be left out in here if it IS indeed an Edict, right? Only on Venturis News Network, your best source for quick information!" The reporter said, finishing up with a wink before the transmission was cut off.

Cara, Nola and Gaia - Homestead Bar

The screen where Lisa Lavender slowly faded to black, the TV having just been turned off. The three of you found yourselves in this bar, which was a known meeting place for Homeland Resistance members, or, well, at least well known for you. It was a small bar, located in the slums of Bavaria, Patria's Capital and the city you had defended against Venus advances quite successfully so far. The floor-level location and uncompromising appearance made it the perfect place for the Homeland to organize meetings away from prying eyes. The resistance had a proper organized base, weapons and what not, sure. But this was a popular movement, by the people, for the people, if they wanted to meet new recruits and talk to people, this was the place. It was accessible, friendly, safe.

"Remind me again, why do we watch that boot licking piece of shit news network?" A woman at the counter called out, pulling out a small cigar from her mouth, blowing out a uninterested puff of smoke.

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/17/54/67/175467846f8899276f2fbc6e6073ca20.jpg

You knew this woman well, Arya Mallvono, "leader" of the Homeland Resistance by all accounts or purposes. When Bayrios's forces first landed, she and a few other soldiers were the first to organize and begin fighting back against Venus's occupation, despite the fact that the planet seemed it was just going to surrender at first. With time, the movement grew, more and more people began joining the resistance, more people realized that, they COULD actually fight back against the Overlord. And they were going to be damned if they're going to let just a bunch of those soldiers hassle them around! All the others "original" rebels had already been captured or otherwise killed, which left only Arya as one of the original members, this made her the resistance's leader, though she would deny any claim of such.

The bartender shrugged. "What would you have me put up? Local network? Sorry Arya, but you know as well as I do our local TV Network is shit. I mean, unless you want to hear about those Dawn nutters hosting another party." He chuckled, before passing her a new cup of gin.

Andy Mallvono was the local bartender, technically speaking, he was as much part of the Resistance as everyone else in this room, though he would often claim otherwise, chiming in as "neutral", despite the fact, he, you know hosted the resistance in his bar, he claimed he was just doing it as a favor for his sister. He slowly walked away from Arya, cleaning up a small glass cup. "...Anyone else drinking something? Arya's paying, as usual."

"...Why do you gotta keep reminding them of that, eh?" Arya huffed, blowing more smoke out of the sides of her mouth. "...Might as well drink though, if it's an edict coming, we've got one hell of a storm coming to deal with." She stated, taking a swing of her drink. You glanced around, there were a bunch of other resistance members in here, and by that you mean A LOT, Arya had called up a meeting of sorts in here, to hear whatever news came up out of this civilian ship and to then decide together, what would come next. Needless to say, the atmosphere was kind of tense...

Well, save for the couple banging on their seats on table off to the corner. With the way how Patria's atmosphere worked, this kind of stuff was normal. Still kinda rude, but normal. A young woman had her arms around a female homelander's neck, hopping on top of the rebel's spliced dog-like prick, they had been going at it for a while now, a white puddle dribbling down from her cunt to the leathery seat, then to the floor, what with the knot and all. The music of the bar's radio mostly dulled out the wet sound of their sex...Mostly.

Aurora, Derek, Aermis and Razajin

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The screen slowly flickered down after showing the news. The small shuttle ship was populated by the bunch of you, plus the pilot and Bayrios's messenger.

http://danbooru.donmai.us/data/__original_drawn_by_soft_h__dcb0bb762ecf34be2dba1b9781f48211.jpg - Messenger

The pilot was a dude by the name of Gordin, that was about as much as you knew about him, really, even Aurora. She had been just assigned to guard this particular vessel, after all. The small vessel had a small, suite-like room for each of you, with Aurora and Gordin's room split up a little and closer to the pilot cabin. Those rooms were empty now, however, as you were close to landing, as announced by Gordin himself on the ship's communications system. A red light at the exit of your rooms announced that you could now leave your rooms, as you were no longer pushing through the planet's atmosphere, and that it was recommended to already be walking around, as to get used to the planet's gravity. On Patria's case, you had another thing to be mindful of, the planet's aphrodisiac infested air, which was already crawling up your nostrils.

"We'll be landing at Passerna, one of Patria's cities, in about an hour or so, Venus has taken over the town and has been using it as a center of operations..." The pilot confirmed. "Get up and stretch your legs some folks, Patria's gravity is a little bit heavier than most other planets, don't be surprised if you gain a few pounds, eh?" He stated, before cutting off his transmission. He suddenly turned the comm back up. "Oh, and uhh...That aphrodisiac effect...Yeah, get used to it."

Squiddles, in Aermis's room, fiddled about uncomfortably as you entered the new atmosphere, it's slick tentacles flickered about into attention as it wandered about some, anxious to get out of the ship, one could assume.

The messenger of Bayrios, all of you had gotten short peeks and glances at her. She was a pale woman, who, for some reason, appeared to be constantly with a blank, pale expression. She was always walking around with a big, golden scroll case, embroiled in details in silver, bronze and platinum. Small gems dotted around the edges of it, making it look like an invaluable gift, though you knew full well what it was. It was an Edict. Still, it raised questions as to why you all were even being sent into this place, with this messenger carrying this thing. Wasn't the Edict supposed to be a simple, quick, solution? What was the point of sending you along, anyways? Maybe you could ask her about it, maybe.

Evelynn

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You had arrived a day ago, your call with Eleanor had gotten you little but a short, to the point chat with your aunt before you ended up with little more than a set of coordinates. You hadn't gotten the chance to go check the place yet, you had arrived early in the morning the day before and were currently evening out the timezone difference, after all you knew better than wander around with vague directions in a planet you didn't know while sleepy. You were currently at Passerna, one of Patria's cities that was under the Overlord's control, flight from and to anywhere else was pretty much prohibited, anyways, what with all the fighting currently going on.

Luckily for you, this address you had received was just on the outskirts of Passerna...Well, sort of, it was a fair bit off from the city's limits, but you were sure you could probably just get a taxi to get you close so you could walk off the rest. Probably. You happened upon a TV store as you were walking by, the TVs just so happened to have been broadcasting the news regarding this squad's arrival. Maybe you could go have a look at that, too, ain't like your aunt is going anywhere...Again, probably. The streets were crowded, but not with citizens. Passerna had been the first (And only) city to get taken by Venus's forces, but since they hadn't any success with taking over the capital, a huge deal of forces were all conglomerated here in Passerna. The streets were full of soldiers, walking around like they owned the place...And in a way, they did.

Annaliese

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The smoke from your gun wafted off from the very tip of the rifle, seeping its way up into the sky through the foliage above, disappearing under the sunlight. A single, spent cartridge slowly rolled around the dirt, eventually stopping as it hit the hand of a man dead on the floor. Poor idiot wandered off too deep into the forest and, when he saw you, thought you'd be easy prey for someone who was too high on the planet's atmosphere. Your basket of apples was just a few yards away, it slipped off your arm so naturally as you reached for the gun, too.

You were on your way to the market, it was just a short walk away from Passerna, the city currently being occupied by Bayrios's forces. You weren't too familiar with the whole thing, yourself, having living a rather sheltered life in your own little haven. But it was hard not to at least know about it, I mean, you lived in that world, after all, and it's not like such a thing wouldn't be in the mouths of any people you bumped into, no matter how few.

With a single movement, you swoop the Shopkeeper back inside your cloak a low 'click' echoing out as it attaches to a small holster within, which helps with keeping the weapon properly held in place without you having to keep one hand holding it. The "dead" man twitches slightly and lets out a grunt, not so dead after all. He was wearing armor, you acknowledge, probably what saved him from a deadly shot. Based on that, he's probably either part of that "Homeland" resistance or with Bayrios's forces. You idly remember your aunt mentioning that the rebels were idiots, fighting against something that could wipe them out in seconds.

But that was for later thought, for now, you had a guy bleeding out in the dirt and you kind of needed to decide what you would do with him. Weakly, he reached over and grabbed your ankle, gripping as strong as his state allowed him to, which...Wasn't much, really, you could pull your foot away rather easily. "...Pl-Please, I need a doctor."

Lyalah

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You sneezed, right after the news on the TV had gone through. It was so sudden, too, maybe someone was just talking about you somewhere. Ha ha! As your luck, or...Well, lack of luck, depending on how you look at it. Your clinic was located in a small town exactly between Passerna, the city where Bayrios's forces were estabilished, and Bavaria, Patria's Capital, the two main cities which were part of this conflict between Bayrios's forces and the Homeland resistance. Since the distance between the two was quite large to cover, you didn't exactly have to worry about a battle occurring EXACTLY around your clinic, there was just a too wide of an area for the soldiers to maim each other for you to end up with that kind of trouble. Though, you did end up receiving visits from a bunch of wounded from both sides, quite often in fact.

You had heard from some of the soldiers you had even gotten a bit of a reputation, even! A guardian angel of the battlefield, who would show up and save any who were lost in the war zone, regardless of their allegiance. For better or for worse, because of such deeds, the town where your clinic was located was firmly established as "neutral" territory in this little conflict. Apparently that Councilwoman Venus and the local resistance leader had agreed to such, too! It might've not been such a big deal, in the grand scheme of things, but it was nice to know you had brought peace to the world...Even if t was just like...One small fraction of it.

Regardless! Things to do, right. You took a look around your clinic, it was pretty empty, well, save for one bed, who had a young female soldier, the uniform identified her as part of Bayrios's forces.

http://simg4.gelbooru.com//samples/27/f5/sample_27f5b911efeb32f2571eb793e37881a0.jpg?1568715

She had shown up with several burns and bruises all over her body, brought in by some locals. From what they told you, it seemed like she was a passenger aboard an air fighter ship or something of the sort that got shot down, she survived, miraculously enough. And you had already done most of what you could for her, she was going to be fine, though she was yet to wake up or even talk to you. You could wait for her to wake up and chat her up...Or you could "chat her up", you did find this one soldier had spliced some extra tools under the belt, two of them to be precise. Alternatively, you technically had free access to both Passerna and Bavaria, you could go check either place and look up to restock on some supplies, you were quickly running out on sedatives, after all, and you should probably keep a good stock of these around.

Echo

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The TV was turned off, not by you, though, instead by your butler. Well, not YOUR butler, your family's butler. Rivolo Lorano was the...Newest addition to your family's household of servants. His family had been serving yours for a few generations now, so long it had become a bit of a family tradition of theirs, you'd dare even say. And since his late father, Pietro Lorano died caught in crossfire between Bayrios's and the Homeland's forces, Rivolo had taken over as the butler. Since the incident with Pietro happened literally on the first day of the invasion, these news on the TV also confirmed it had been exactly one month since Rivolo began working here.

http://gelbooru.com//images/ac/6e/ac6e6a19a14ad62bc9d3078958940882.jpg?2909462

You could tell he didn't particularly enjoy talking about the subject, though, probably why he turned off the TV, come to think of it. "Your breakfast, Miss." The butler announced, pushing a small cart filled with a special selection of dishes, made with the intent of regulating your blood pH for the day. Among them there was carrot juice, a loaf of banana bread, with honey to accompany it. And, despite the fact it didn't match at all with the rest, garlic in the mornings was a great addition...Well, health-wise, not taste-wise.

Rivolo crossed his arms as he idly glanced around, your room stood out quite a bit from the rest of your family's palace. While everything else was classical, rustic and marbled, your room was littered with eletronics, the TV itself, was something only you had in your room. The TV had a small slot below where you could also hook up your PDA, in case you ever felt like browsing around on a bigger screen.

It was great for porn, too. 16K FullHD resolution is amazing.

Rivolo cleared up his throat, pushing the cart over closer to your bed. "Let's hope this..."Edict", if there even is one, finally settles things down. I miss the times when Patria used to be peace and quiet, not with these damn shootouts every so often." He huffed, annoyed as he fixed up his collars, before he began to cut some of said banana bread for you.

Your mansion was located in Bavaria, Patria's Capital, theoretically speaking, this put you in the middle of Resistance territory and "on their side", though your family's voice has been very clear regarding their "impartiality" on the matter, local authorities have been trying to pressure your family into officially joining the Resistance, not only with money, but also with their international influence. Needless to say, results have been little. Though you can tell that, especially with this civilian ship landing, your family is probably going to have to at least do SOMETHING about all this, being influential comes with its drawbacks, after all.

"I assume you'll be doing your usual "work" routine?" Rivolo questioned, raising a brow as he fixed up one of his gloves. "If I might propose a counter-offer, your family has been wanting to send a representative to have a chat with Venus, the Councilwoman. Invite her over to one of their parties, I hear, create some good relations. I'm sure you could offer yourself to that." Rivolo proposed, putting his hands behind his back. "It beats staying here with your eyes on that thing all day, I bet." He mumbled, glancing at your PDA from the corner of his eyes.

Derek sighed as the news flicked off, and the pilot announced their arrival. He shifted in his clothes. It was the least comfortable outfit he'd ever worn. Even his accademy uniform had been less stiffling, but with the war going on he refused to be completely unprotected or looking like a soldier. He checked the small pistol he'd picked up to make sure it was in working order. He had it more to make him look ready to defend himself rather than to fight. They wouldn't have to be here long, right? She'd just read the Edict, and then they'd be on their way? He shuddered as he thought of the girl. He'd barely seen her the whole trip, but the pale skin and her almost vacant expression gave the impression she was some sort of doll or moving corpse than a person. That and the devistating Edict she carried made him nervous to be around her, but this was his job now and like it or not he needed to get his head in the game.

As he was stretching his legs and trying to settle his thoughts the atmosphere started to hit him. He hardly even took note at first. His mind drifting back to the messenger. He shook his head wondering why he was so fixated on her all of a sudden, but then the figure in his head lifted its hands and everything just sort of fell off. No! He did not need to be having those thoughts. Stupid aphrodisiac atmosphere. He was sorely tempted to just seal the door to his quarters and quickly whack off, but they could touch down any moment and he needed to get moving. Going to the sink he quickly splashed some cold water on his face to disperse the images trying to invade his head before leaving his room to await their landing.

Lyalah shakes her head with a grin, always loving the news. Every time Patria was covered some kind of shenanigans were bound to happen, be they minor slips of phrase or the cameraman 'not noticing' some very raunchy things in the background. She enjoyed tuning in, even if it wasn't always for the stories. She turns the TV back to a music station- easy listening, to keep a cool atmosphere inside the clinic. She DID want to go out for the sedatives she was going to need pretty soon... but leaving a patient she knows is close to recovery alone never sat right with her. Can't have people alone when they wake up! She wouldn't be able to officially discharge them!

So, she leaves her helmet on the counter of her main desk for now, instead heading over to the bedridden soldier. She's been waiting for a safe time to satisfy her curiosities, and now that this young lady has healed up enough, Lyalah felt obliged. Leaning over the bed, Lyalah raises the soldier's medical gown while tracing the Emotion sigil on to her inner thigh. She wasn't going to do anything overt, just see if she can't arouse her some more in her sleep to see the soldier's dual splices at full mast.
And maybe to help with the initial reaction when she wakes to see her savior inches away from them.

Gaia sat only two booths away from the raunchy display, trying her best to ignore the two lovers by casting very minor versions of her sigils with a measure of focus she hardly needed right now. Still the atmosphere of the bar created a strange level of humor for Gaia, the conflict of casual sex and impending doom making her have to hide her mirthful face with a quick illusion spell each time a laugh threatened to escape her. She was planning on waving off any questions regarding her sigils as just practice, since she was certain that the Homelanders wouldn't be too pleased with her immaturity. But despite her mirth, her elven ears were locked solely on Arya in a bid to learn any new intel about the civilian ship. If there was an Edict on that vessel, and if her standing with the resistance allowed her to get a hold of it, then truly it might as well have been her birthday.

Months of diligent work and well-hidden desires might finally let her obtain her prize, and then get the hell out of dodge before the Overlord decided to get particularly nasty. Knowledge was power of course, and having the sort of spellpower found on that one piece of parchment might finally let her be free of all this bullshit entirely. Gaia believed she might even be able to make a nice living in the depths of space, alone and free from anyone and everyone, creating all that she needed with precise arcane formulas. Learning in self-sustained solitude, a heaven if she ever saw one. All she needed to do was worry about this merry band of fools that thought resisting the number one power in the universe was a good idea.

Razajin had spent most of the trip in his own cabin, enjoying the peacefulness and time to himself. It was rare for him to find these moments, oftentimes only getting them once the last person had dropped dead in the firefight only leaving silence behind or once the screaming abruptly stopped after an intense torture session. It had been a while since Razajin had done either of those things, not for lack of wanting to but between preparing for Patria and the traveling there simply hadn't been time, nor did he think he could have hid one of the other passenger's body well on the ship. It was probably for the best since they weren't supposed to know who he was. Maybe the messenger knew he was a Minister, but the others most definitely wouldn't since he had opted for a fake name and used different credentials that placed him as a mercenary, instead of the credentials in his backpack that labeled him as a Minister of Bayrios. Going in under the radar would be important initially as he could do more as a nobody, letting him get closer to the rebels before starting to dismantle their whole operation. To that end, Razajin had only brought civilian clothes and his shotgun, leaving behind all the armaments and equipment that would normally be afforded to one of his rank. Today he was wearing a simple and light black hoodie with a brown jacket and black pants and boots, it was as nondescript as clothes got and that was fine by him.

As the ship went through the last leg of the journey Razajin spent the last few hours tweaking and cleaning his shotgun, wanting to make sure it stayed in perfect condition for the first time he'd use it on Patria, first impressions did matter after all. The news on the tv provided perfect white noise as he checked the hardlight converter for any exterior cracks that could result in the gun exploding. Venus getting more flak for her inability to make any serious gains was good, that'd make it easier for him to destroy the rebels without her being able to get any credit and would allow him to pressure her for whatever he'd need as she grew more desperate for a solution or progress. "She won't even know that I'm going to replace her until its too late." He muttered with a grin as he reattached the converter then closed the casing surrounding it. He'd savor the look on her face when he brought the rebels down and left her help out for years, or maybe better ones would replace it once he had her under his command and heel.

He finished his maintenance moments before the red light went off and the pilot started talking. The anticipation was starting to slowly build, like the need to breathe when slowly being choked, at first you try not to think about it but eventually it becomes the only thing the mind can think of. Maybe it was Patria's air getting to him, he had heard it was supposed to be quite delightful but he had to focus for now and not get distracted. If they were going to be landing soon, Razajin needed to be ready, as he did a few stretches to loosen up before attaching his shotgun to the harness on his hoodie. Most armors had magnetic strips to make it easier to carry weapons but since he was going low-tech for now a simple harness would have to do while his jacket covered most of it from sight. He then picked up his backpack, mostly full of essentials he assumed he wouldn't be able to find on the planet, the most important being pretzels. He had everything he needed now and with the tap of his fingers against the door frame he left his room for the main cabin.

He hadn't spoken to any of the other passengers the whole trip, seeing it as unnecessary and would probably only increase the chances of their own deaths occurring, not to mention them probably dull. Even the messenger with her aloofness equal to his own hadn't perked his interested besides the occasional thoughts of breaking into her room at night and forcing her to scream in shame and anger as he had her way with her. It seemed the news was focused on whether she was bringing an edict from Bayrios to the planet, something Razajin highly doubted seeing how Venus was still planet-side as far as he knew and Patria had resources that demanded to be collected. The only other male passenger looked like a skittish thing despite being a soldier, not worth his time at all. On the other hand, the purple-haired female had most definitely been enticing to look at. With a waifish figure that Razajin was sure existed underneath her robes, he could only dream about how soft and fragile her body was, maybe she was a virgin as well, a creature of innocence that was naive enough to believe that the way of Bayrios was the right way to live. It was fortunate that they had only seen each other a few times throughout the trip or Razajin doubted he would have been able to restrain himself from memorizing all the curves of her body by touch. He wondered what business she could have as she didn't look like a soldier nor carried herself like an officer or higher-up. Whatever she was here for, he'd devote some off-time to finding it out and learn more about her, it'd be more fun that way than just talking to her. Then there was the last passenger who seemed to be filling the position of a guard. A lot of her seemed to be replaced with cybernetics, or at least on the outside. It wasn't a bad look either, giving off a more-than-human vibe but that's as far as his thoughts about her went.

The boy was already in the main cabin and looking as skittish as ever. Maybe he was starting to realize he might be involved soon in actual combat or it could have been the lust-inducing atmosphere starting to work on him. It didn't matter as Razajin saw him as potential for short-lived entertainment. "How you feeling?!" Razajin said loudly as he came up behind him before slapping him on the ass. It wasn't a hard hit but there was definitely some squeezing within the two seconds that it occurred. Passing him before turning to face him, Razajin had a wide playful grin as he gave him a long look over before speaking. "You gotta get used to the atmosphere and gravity, getting the blood flowing is a good way of doing that. I'm Jason, a freelance mercenary just trying to earn as much credits either before it becomes a crater or something." Talking rather amiably as he stuck his hand out for him to shake it. "Don't think nothing of the love tap, just me being friendly. I figured it was quite apt with us all about to be heading to a planet where everyone bangs like bunnies." Cracking a stupid joke to make him relax. It also wouldn't hurt to practice this false persona more in case it came under scrutiny, but he mostly just wanted to see how he would react to the grope since he was bored.

Aermis watched her pet/ assistant with a hint of concern. Even if the atmosphere of the planet was libido- enhancing, it didn't seem to affect her too much, only noticing the fact that her eyes had taken to tracking the movements of every tentacles writhing and waving about. At least penis heads hadn't popped out of the ends of the tentacles. That meant it probably didn't feel too rapey at the moment, so she guessed it had to be nerves. She opened the door an forced it into a locked open state, taking the moment to adjust to the feeling of actual gravity. She failed somewhat, thanks to the moments of turbulence that was jarring her every so often.

Like Squiddles, she was better off being planetside. She finally began noticing that her heart had begun to race, ever so slightly. Probably either nerves, or the atmosphere was really affecting her. Taking a deep breath to attempt to calm her nerves, she brought her fingers up and traced <Emotion> into the air, murmuring a spell to forge a weak, temporary empathic link. She only did this a handful of times, and with varying levels of success. She wanted a read on Squiddles' mood before moving out of the Suite. Perhaps get a hint of information from the Messenger, or perhaps get to know the other passenger that clearly wasn't a guard or a soldier.

"...And when I see these fools actin' fresh homie, it just makes me wanna click, clack-"

Pow. The thunder of the Shopkeeper crushed the forest calm, scattering the birds to the tune of Yung Tri's hard-hitting beats. The bone-jarring push of the shotgun shoved awake the nooks of her brain that hadn't been rocked by the sounds of fake gunfire and police sirens. Instinctively and immediately, the hooded girl racked the pump - a hot red shell popped out of the chamber with a satisfying chatter, but in the moment it took for the leaden smoke to clear the man had already crumpled into a limp sack of blood. Her woven basket plunked to the ground, and an especially shiny red apple rolled into the dirt.

Annaliese Graele's lips tilted into a thin slant of disappointment. She could already see the bruise. This man...

She leaned over to check his fate. The ragged gap in his belly was enough to pass a sports ball through, so dead or not, he was done for now. With an exasperated hmph, the rosy-cheeked teenager swept the Shopkeeper underneath her cloak, bit her cheek and stepped over to her rogue fruit. Reaching for the apple, a bloodied hand seized her ankle, drawing a curious look. His face was pained and dirty, stained with gore and laminate chips from his now-ruined body armour, but worse - so was his hand, and her boot was already dirty. Annoyance flashed through her with immediacy, and she absentmindedly shook off his grip to recover her fruit.

"And now watch me do it again homie, boom-bop-p-"

Polishing off the dirt, she dug into her waist pouch and tapped off her music player. She sighed, smoothing out the last bit of adrenaline that had her heart racing. Her ears curled and twitched beneath her hood.

"Ugh, you just had to bruise on this one, idiot! My Mom worked really hard to pick these...! What in the world is wrong with you?" Annaliese groaned, frowning. Her voice rang with exasperation contrary to the violence of the mess she'd just found herself in. Shifting her teeth from her cheek to her lip, she returned it to the basket and fidgeted with the blanket until it was prim and secure. It was only then the blonde-haired girl whisked around to face the quivering man in the dirt. Arms folded, she bent over and stared down at him with a chastising glint.

"You run at me like that, what did you think would happen, you turkey? You're lucky I didn't blow your friggin' head off, seriously." she said. Sighing, she gave him a once-over and tucked her hair behind her human ear, shifting to her knees to get a better look on him.

"Lucky my Dad will chew me out if he finds another dead guy in the forest, too..." she muttered, plucking two triangular sticker-laden earphones from beneath her hood as she picked at his pockets for some kind of identification. She'd known as she saw him walking down the trail he was a soldier or paramilitary of some kind, but she wasn't ready to get concerned until she knew he was one of the Overlord's men, or... maybe a rebel from that Resistance thing. Either way, Passerna was close enough that she didn't need to think about rolling him down the ravine just yet. She slapped away his still wandering hand.

"You know the two most painful places to get shot are your belly and your kneecap? Quit moving... who are you, anyway?" she questioned, hovering her cool hands over the gritty, inside-out mess that distorted his abdomen. The armour was strong, she guessed - the laminate and fibres ate most of the force, but the alloy pellets still cut through and cut deep and he'd probably bleed out by about nine o'clock if he didn't see a doctor and maybe one of her Life Sigils. The hooded girl had her trepidations, though: She'd skipped her last class on Sigil theory, and the guy might get up and lunge at her again.

"Mm, I need a hand with this..." she said. The girl perked her head up to scan the treeline - the birds and the bees had already poked their heads back out. Structuring her fingers against her mouth, she whistled.

No noise came from her lips, though.

This was one way to open a Monday, eh?

It was an irony of Patria that for its legacy as an ever-mutating frontier world where love and money lived fast and died hard, not much seemed to change these days. The past couple of weeks hadn't been any different, really; Passerna's crowds milled, classes were in session, the exotic herbs tasted just as good and brain-dead guys - sometimes drunk, sometimes high, sometimes just stupid - still wandered off into the forest looking to blow off a stiffy. Not three minutes ago, there she was walking down her usual trail when she saw this creeper tootling down the path. Being that this trail went nowhere in the opposite direction unless you knew the hidden routes, she'd made a habit of keeping her attention on the Shopkeeper whenever she met someone here, especially after the sixth time it'd ended in a shotgun blast. Here could be number seven if she just pulled the trigger again.

The birds scattered, suddenly. Trees shook, and the bushes off the trail quivered. Anna stood upright, plucking a kerchief from her cloak and absentmindedly dabbing off the blood on her fingers. The shaking evolved into tremours, and they grew nearer and nearer - like an unseen train were barrelling toward the hooded girl and her would-be rapist. Somewhere, a grazing mammal and its doe sprung across the trail to safety.

An excited howl broke the tension.

With a great blast of leaves and shattered twigs, an enormous grey shape came rocketing out of the trees, skidding to a halt not a metre behind Anna shrouded by a plume of dust that had the girl pull up her cloak to shield her face from the whipping soil. The shaking vibrated to a halt and two predatory yellow eyes pierced the beige haze, staring over the hooded teenager with motives inscrutable. She coughed, waving away the dust, and turned to face the towering shape which panted loudly to the audible drip-drip-drip of saliva.

It snorted.

"Baby-boo!" Annaliese cried suddenly, skipping forward into the great furry mass of an... enormous wolf. A creature of silvery-grey fur, innocent yellow eyes and a lazy tongue that lolled sidelong from its mouth, the enormous beast towered over the blonde girl, great bushy tail waving happily. The canine must've been as big as a minivan - its feet were the size of car tires. Grinning ear to ear, the girl swung her arms around the wolf's neck, planting an enthusiastic kiss on its chin.

"Ooh, I'm so glad to see you, bebe! Good boy, come here! Thassa-good-bubby, yes!" she chattered, whisking her hands through the dog's chest fur and scritching its ears. The wolf whined happily, immediately craning its neck down to attack her cheek with its tongue.

"Euch, yes. Good boy, Grim. Mm, love you t-tu-pfft!" she snorted, drowned out by an onslaught of enthusiastic licking that drenched her from neck to ears as the wolf peeled off her hood to get at her own animal ears. She twitched, giggling uncontrollably.

"Sh-stop that, that tickles, God! Okay, oh-kay, eh-nuff! Sit down, boy!" she laughed, pinching the wolf's head and rapping its head with a knuckle. The dog relented... barely, and sat down as it was told, tail still wagging furiously. Annaliese coughed, immediately reaching for her kerchief. For an instant, she'd nearly forgotten what'd just happened. Such was the nature of Grim, her pet Patrian dire wolf of... oh, eight years now? Aunt Elen had never been keen on pets, and while her Mom was content throwing feed to the birds and the fishes the young Anna couldn't turn down the thin, whimpering wolf pup that'd ended up in the hollow of a muddy tree during a rainstorm one fateful evening. It was only supposed to be for one night, but her Mom and Dad cooked up a plan to tend to the pup at Dad's place so that Auntie wouldn't force nature to take its course.

It was a rare moment of weakness her aunt regretted to this very day. That reminded Anna - he was probably in for a punishment after tearing up the garden against last week and trying to mate with a fallen tree stump. But that could wait.

"Grim, buddy, I need your help, 'kay?" she said, patting his neck. The gigantic wolf's ears and eyes narrowed as he peered over her shoulder to the wounded man in the dirt. Grim growled, low and threatening - dogs, as the conventional wisdom went, were the best judge of character.

"Don't worry, don't worry, I capped him. But I can't blow this one's head off today, so I need you help me carry him to Passerna so we can drop him off with the cops, all righty? We'll say he tripped and dropped his gun." she said. If Grim had any neurons to debate his master's scheme, he didn't let them show - instead resuming his lazy tongue-lolling with an affirmative bark.

"Good boy! Here, help me pick him up. I'll throw him over your back." she said with an encouraging pat. Slipping her basket of apples onto one arm, she seized the downed man by the wrists. Grim laid down next to her, and she dragged him over with a struggle - Gods, he was heavy.

"All right, here's... how it's gonna work..." she said, ignoring the expected moans of pain as she doubled him over to sling him belly first onto Grim's furry back. The wolf eyed him angrily as Anna scooted his lower body over the dog's flank. The ride would be terrifically painful, but it would be quick enough for him to not bleed out. Satisfied enough, Anna signalled for the wolf to stand. Securely in place! Maybe the blood had a kind of adhesive effect.

"I drop you off at Passerna, since I'm going there anyway, and in exchange, I don't throw you in the darn river to repay my aunt's apples." she said, dusting her hands.

"Objections? Well, tough cookies - let's go." she said, barely giving him a second to collect his thoughts. Seizing a tuft of fur, Annaliese hoisted herself onto the dire wolf's back as if he were a horse and with a click of her heels the beast lunged off down the trail, leaving a torrent of dust in its wake.

To Passerna!
We can live forever if you've got the time.

Echo didn't particularly mind that Rivolo had switched off the TV. She practically kept it running all through the day and night. Sleep was a strange thing for Echo and most of the dawn family for that matter. Thier whole get up encouraged that they avoid lots of daylight, keeping their skin extra pale. Echo lost interest in following the Dawn curfew some years ago, but her usual behavior did mean that her schedule matched the rest of her families rather well. The fact she was so plugged in didn't really help either. Regardless, she did still get her morning wake up like the rest of her family. She was the youngest of the bunch and therefore was woken the earliest, she had some minor duties that she performed on the estate in order to keep within Great Uncle Grimbald's good graces. She wasn't particularly very fond of completing those duties but she did usually complete them. It wasn't like Grimbad would throw her out but she could easily be stripped of her luxurious accommodations.

Echo took a moment to glance over at Rivolo as he spoke. It was a struggle to peel her eyes away from her PDA but she did enjoy conversating with the young butler on some occasions. He spoke with a maturity and regalness that far surpassed his age. It was terrible what happened to his father Pietro, and Echo had really expected there to be more vengeance in his voice. Today, however, there was a tinge of hope in his voice. Echo slowly pulled herself up from the covers and pressed her back against the headboard. She was looking rather trashed. Disheveled hair, smeared makeup, some blood on her chin, not likely hers. She didn't appear to be wearing anything, save for a few strips of electrical tape that adhered to her breasts. She shook her head slightly and rubbed her eyes before reaching out to accept a slice of the banana bread. "Thank you Rivolo." She stated simply, clearing her throat as if she were parched, which she most likely was. She did her best to eat her breakfast quickly. It was her favorite meal of the day but she really needed a shower after whatever she had gotten up to last night. She sat in silence as Rivolo spoke, finishing a few more slices of banana bread and then pounding back the carrot juice, not before throwing a few bits garlic. When she had finished her food and Rivolo had finished speaking she stood from the bed and walked casually over to her tinted window. "Peace would be awfully boring, though." She said as she glanced over her shoulder. "I wouldn't mind if the shooting stopped, though. Such a terrible fate has befallen those of the resistance, though I suppose a worse fate may arrive if they fail." She continued as she began picking out an outfit for the day. She turned around a few times, modeling a bit for Rivolo as she draped some clothing over herself. "It's a bit too formal don't you think?" She said, in reference to a glittery black maxi-dress. She paused for a moment while she considered Rivolo's offer, as if her brain had not yet had a chance to process his request.
"I'll have you know that very little beats keeping my eyes on that thing all day. But color me intrigued." She said as she flung the dress back into the closet. "Rivolo be a dear and pick out an outfit, your family's fashion tastes haven't failed me yet. Call this council women Venus and arrange a meeting if you must, and have a car ready for me. Oh and I guess let me know when the party is or whatever. All those boring details that I'll need to know." She said as she made her way into the bathroom. A brief shower, some decent makeup skills, and few illusion runes later she emerged, Dawn from head to toe. She slipped into whatever outfit Rivolo had prepared, snagged her PDA and her blade, and made her way to Byron's wing of the Estate.

Byron is Grimbad's son and much like Echo, is a bit of a party animal. Echo is usually rather careful about where she does her partying and with whom she does it. Byron on the other hand, is too rich or too stupid to give a shit. Echo has the wonderful task of digging through all of his cellphone messages and emails every day to remove anything incriminating. She has become quite practiced at this and can usually slip in and out without any detection. Hopefully, Byron had just as a rough as night as she did or she would have to deal with him as well as his problems.

Derek was seated in the commons area of the ship having finally gotten control of his own thoughts when the hand squeezed at his ass. With an eep he jumped up a bit. He tried not to stand fully to conceal the fact that while his thoughts had just gotten under control his body wasn't, and he didn't want anyone seeing the half chub he was still sporting. Seating himself back down he turned to find himself face to face with the only other male passenger of the ship. Derek was worried about that as the obviously experienced soldier had been rather absent for most of the trip. Of course, he hadn't really been all that sociable either, so maybe space travel just didn't agree with him.

"Oh, I'm Derek." He took the offered hand and shook it. "Yeah, I was just doing some stretches in my room before I came out here. I'm sorta just out in the cosmos for the first time." He was tempted to admit how nervous he was not knowing what to expect with his first job, but he wasn't sure he felt comfortable confiding such to the mercenary. He did manage to calm himself down a little when Jason told him not to think anything of the touch to his ass. Blushing and looking away he continued to conversation. "Yeah, I was just getting myself used to the atmosphere. Really should have been expecting it to be bad if the officers are having trouble keeping the ranks focused on their objectives."

Aurora quietly cursed her cybernetic body. Sure, they probably installed some sort of filtration system to help her adapt to new planet's atmospheres and the occasional toxic cloud. But it certainly wasn't working on Patria's aphrodisiac laced atmosphere. Even being inside of the space-shuttle was bringing her on edge. That, plus the mission itself. Escort the cruiser onto the planet, make sure the passengers behave, then go back.
While it delivered an Edict.
That would look good on a resume if you gave it to the right people, but it would earn a death sentence if you told that to a dumbass rebel.

Yes, Aurora had a low opinion on those who rebelled against the Overlord. It wasn't out of loyalty, it was just out of the sense of uselessness that comes with standing against the Overlord. They could just snap their fingers and a planet would die. Still, this whole business with the Edict felt different than it should. She'd seen the news and recordings of planets that got Edicts. They normally weren't delivered by civilian run businesses. What was different with this planet? Maybe the sex-laden air would do something... or perhaps They were just trying to do something new with Their Edicts.

Now, in the main cabin, Aurora rolled her eyes watching the two males talk. Yep, the air was getting to them already by the look of things. She shifted uncomfortably to re-adjust her uniform around a growing erection. What a pain in the ass...
Speaking of pain in the asses, the Messenger's blank stare was getting on her nerves. If you were going to hold a planet hostage, you could at least show a little feeling.
With a sigh to calm her down, Aurora approached the Messenger. leaning on the wall across from her. She shut her eyes for a moment, before opening them to gauge the Messenger's reaction, and also to watch the other passengers. For some reason, she didn't quite like the cut of that merc's jib. But, to be fair, she didn't like the cut of most merc's jibs.

"Not that I mind, considering I'm getting paid well for this trip, but what's the point of a poorly defended civilian vessel? Surely you and your boss would feel more comfortable sending a properly armed and shielded military ship for the good old ultimatum?"

Nola sat on a stool at the bar, towering over pretty much everyone else given her almost ludicrous height. Being seven and a half feet tall made it hard for her to go unnoticed but that suited her just fine. Once she'd gathered up enough funds her height would help more then hurt in her new career as a galactic swashbuckler. For now though she'd help this ragtag resistance band to defend her home world. Sure she didn't much care who ruled it, but one of those edicts would surely destroy this place, and she wasn't going to have that, least not with her moms here. After listening to the rather common banter between the barkeep and her leader, she smirked and raised a hand at Andy. "I'll take something fruity!" She says with a big ol' grin. After making sure Andy got her order, she turned around to face the leader. "So cap'n, why aren't we just taking one of our ships and raiding that so-called civilian ship to steal the edict? If no one reads it nothing happens right?" She asked, not really grasping why they were debating a plan of action, then again she also wasn't the brightest hat in the mine either. "I lead the boarding party if you want, I mean, it is sort of in my blood you know." She says while fixing the turtleneck of her purple sweater. Over it and her large knockers was heavy looking suit of pink armor covering pretty much everything but the inside of her joints. How she managed to keep cool under all that armor PLUS her sweater is a secret she always avoids telling people in particularly hilarious deflections. Her legs were covered in jeans and more armor plating. Her heirloom hammer and shield laid softly on the bar next to her. Thankfully the armored flap over her crotch helped hide her bulging junk, despite her currently calm libido, even with the couple going at it in the corner. "I say we raid or ambush the ship before whoever on board has a chance to read off that scroll, aren't we doomed if it gets read anyways?" She asks, tilting her head a bit to ponder if she had all her info correct.

"Eh, it isn't too bad. I'm certainly enjoying it!" Razajin or rather Jason said with a wide grin, not trying to hide the obvious boner going down his right thigh. "At the very least it'll make some stuff interesting while I go about doing jobs for whoever is paying." He had most definitely been correct about the boy, as timid and fragile as they came, more akin to a rabbit than the wolf features he had. It definitely made him more enticing in Razajin's eyes, enough that he couldn't help himself from stepping closer to the sitting soldier, so close that his clothed boner would be even more blatant to him. "I always did like the curious ones..." Grinning down at Derek before placing his index finger on his chin and slowly making him turn to look back at him and the bulging pants in his face. "There's plenty to see in the galaxy, plenty to explore and someone always has to willing to do it." His tone becoming quite predatory as he spoke somewhat quietly. He wondered how much more submissive the boy would become if he knew that the man in front of him grossly outranked him as a Minister. It certainly would have been entertaining to see him stutter more but alas the mission was too important to squander his true identity for a few moments of fun.

Not to mention Razajin was quite certain he had seen Derek with a boner of his own, but whether it was from the ass-grab or just the atmosphere remained to be seen. "If this is your first planet besides your one of birth then it isn't a bad one to start on. I could certainly think of at least a dozen worse ones off the top of my head." His tone going back to causal as quickly as it had reversed. "Besides I doubt it'll be large troop movements that finally bring down Bavaria and the rebels, it's more likely the threat of an edict will either turn the populace against them soon or spec-op forces will disassemble them from the shadows. At this point they're buying time, the capital ships above could have glassed Bavaria by now if they were inclined, but I guess the mercy of Bayrios knows no bounds. Hopefully Homestead has some HVTs in their ranks worth my time tracking down before they all get buried and forgotten." Giving a fake sigh at the thought of losing out on some opportunities to make money. "But enough about me! What about you, Derek? What's your specialty within the military?" Chuckling as he reached down to scratch behind one of his wolf ears. "A cute kid like you must be in the PR department right?" Slightly teasing him with a hearty laugh.

“Haah..”
The faint trail of smoke flowing from the cigarette was disrupted, dispersing from the woman’s sighing exhale.
“..and you should really stop smoking those awful cigars, young lady. They’re horrible for you!”
Hidden behind the anonymity of the voice-only call on her mobile terminal, Evelynn Graele let a slightly guilty smile curl her lips. Irony, irony.
Puffing away without a thought while her mom was chiding her over the same exact issue of smoking. Practically full-blown rebellion, at this point.
“Oh, come on, Mom. Harmful chems in the cigs are a thing of the past..sides, it’s quite soothing.”
Taking a final drag of the flavored smoke, she let the Stiletto, a rather elegant brand of cigarette targeted towards women drop to the floor of the alley, snuffing out the embers beneath her boot.
”And the copious amounts of coffee then, Evelynn? All that caffeine?”
Sofia Auri’s usually warm, motherly tones took on a much frostier edge as she addressed her wayward daughter.
”Oh. Well..um.”
Eve glanced guiltily at the half-full cup of Vigor-boosted coffee in her other hand. Sofia’s motherly intuition hit the nail right on the head as usual..
”It’s fine, it’s fine..look, Mom, I’m going to meet up with Aunt Eleanor soon..sound her about that stupid curse. I’m hanging up, alright? Talk to you soon.”
With a soft beep, the call was dismissed along with her mother’s incessant nagging. Jeez, it was like she could read her mind like an open book.
Still, she couldn’t help but smile fondly at the thought of her mother worrying over the tiniest detail as usual. It was good to see that she had accepted her father’s death easily..or rather, she had been preparing herself for it for years. Matthias had only held on for his daughter’s sake, waiting till she had finally made the decision to come home after carrying out her revenge..
”You were such a fool, Evelynn Graele..”
Eve said bitterly to herself, draining the cup of coffee with and chucking it into a convenient trashcan in the alley. She then left the muted silence of the alleyway, stepping out into the raucous clamor of one of Passerna’s main streetways.

It was only her second day on Patria and already, she had quite the dislike for it. The aphrodisiacal atmosphere she had been forewarned about had hit her like a brick to the gut on when she had taken in her first lungful of air.
How did the natives and other people cope with such a ridiculously potent aphrodisiac? The answer was; they didn’t. There were couples going at it anywhere you could find a smidgen of privacy. Or out in the open if the pair was particularly brazen, even. Such shows of public...affection had caused her to look on with slight interest at first; now she just walked past the fornicating couples with a short sigh of exasperation.
A quick glance around her revealed that the majority of the pedestrians in the morning were the Overlord’s soldiers, the lot of them strutting around with a swagger that practically screamed for a superior to yell them into the push-up position.
Eve sighed. This was the only city they had taken from Patria so far in several weeks of campaigning and these idiots were acting like they owned the planet. Swaggering around like that without a single care; were they even thinking about possible rebel elements that were hiding in Passerna?
A good soldier is a cautious one. They tended to live longer and gain more experience, rising in the ranks. A bad soldier on the other hand, died young. And that would be the end of their unremarkable tale.
Short, unsatisfying. Maybe mildly tragic.

Anyway..she still had to get to Aunt Eleanor’s place, didn’t she? The coordinates Eleanor had given her marked a place rather out of the way..a good distance out from the city limits, even. Wait..that meant they lived in the woods? In this day and age?
Eve found herself sighing again.
"Please. Don't let my distant family be a bunch of old-fashioned hippies.."
In any case, she would certainly need some form of transportation to a location as backwater as that. The quest for a taxi, then! And to be honest, the less time she spent on the streets with these soldiers, the better.
She didn't think of herself of being particularly beautiful, but she did acknowledge herself to at least have an above average appearance, along with a lithe, slim body figure. And all those reports about the soldiers being incapacitated by their need to take "fuck breaks"...
Truly, she had no desire to do the deed this early in the morning. Much less with fools that would try to force themselves upon unwilling partners. Rather, another cup of Vigor-boosted coffee would be absolutely perfect for this dreary morning..

Eve gave the streets a quick glance in hopes of an available cab. No dice. She was going to have to place a quick call order for one, then. Tapping in a quick input onto her terminal, she began her wait right outside of a shop window with several screen displays, showing the live news broadcast. Oh, that was right. The shuttle with the Edict was landing today, wasn't it? It didn't particularly concern her too much as she did still have Ainheim IV to go back to...but well, what about her family here? Hopefully they could be convinced to uproot themselves to leave the planet if the Edict happened to be a particularly nasty one.
There had been many theories on how the Overlord Bayrios would be reluctant in completely obliterating Patria, a resource-rich planet that the Empire needed. But no one truly knew what the Overlord was thinking..well, no one EVEN knew the Overlord's gender, much less their appearance or thoughts. The best they could do was guess idle conjectures about their plans which frankly, wasn't worth a damn.
The taxi arrived quickly enough and the young woman slid right into the backseats, letting out a relieved sigh as she sprawled across the cushioned seats.

"Don't mind me. To here, please."
Eve waved a hand absentmindedly at the taxi driver, displaying the co-ordinates for him to see on her terminal.
"And uh, can I smoke in here? Great, thanks."
She added, not letting the driver say a single thing as she lit up another Stiletto, inhaling another familiar lungful of that flavored smoke.
Sleep unbeknownst to I, this one lives in perpetual need of coffee..

Cara had been sitting at the bar for a while now, idley listening to the goings on of those around her. She had cast a couple of uninterested glances at the two in the booth but simply rolled her eyes at them, finding disdain in the fact they couldn't control themselves.

"How are we supposed to win if people like them are in our ranks..." The rabbit-spliced woman huffed quietly to herself before taking another sip of her vodka and going back to being broody. Truthfully she had been broody for a long time now, simply for the fact she had pretty much done, well...nothing since joining the Homeland resistance. No midnight murders, no tactical espionage...not even a little bit of a shake down on some of Bayrios' soldiers to get a little bit of intel. Nothing. zilch. Zero. Nada.

It was driving Cara CRAZY.

Still, the fact that a pretty big number of the resistance fighters had been called to the bar to discuss some matter left Cara with a fluttering sense of hope in her heart. perhaps this was the time!

"Another Vodka, Andy." Cara called to the bartender at his open offer before giving their illustrious leader a nod of thanks as she finally showed some sort of movement and turned her stool towards the debate that seemed to be starting.

"Leading an assault against one of Bayrios' ships would be tantamount to suicide AND would likely mean nothing at all. The edict itself isn't where the power comes from, it's simply a warning of sorts. 'Do X or Y happens', that sort of thing. I think it's pretty safe to say that, even if you were successful in stealing it, big ol' Bayrios' is going to say 'Fuck you, Y's happening.'. No, going in guns blazing isn't the way I don't think. Bayrios needs to know it got here safely but has to think that whoever was carrying it either misplaced or lost it before it could be read, that way he can take his anger out on his subordinates for gross misconduct and we won't get shit on for a little longer. But hey, that's just my two cents." Cara shrugged before pouring the contents of her new vodka into the remnants of her old one, swirling it around and taking a small sip as she waited for responses from the others.

MONDAY, 2ND OF PATRIA'S FEBRUARY. 8:40 AM PLANETARY TIME. 7:00 PM BAYRIOS CAPITAL TIME.

Cara, Nola and Gaia

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Yes and yes." Arya simply replied, in regards to both Nola and Cara. "If anyone reads that thing and the spell takes effect, we will all be in quite a bit of trouble." She stated, re-affirming what Nola said. "But, it is pretty much impossible for us to invade Passerna as it is right now. Even if the Overasshole's forces still haven't gotten used to our atmosphere, they still have quite a lot of firepower in their hands." She concluded, putting the cigarette in her mouth. "So, what we're going to be doing is quite simple." Arya smiled cockily. "We're going to make Bayrios a happy asshole and do exactly whatever his Edict says." She concluded, happily puffing out smoke.

There was a bit of confusion among everyone's faces, including Andy himself. "...Uhm, sis?" The barkeep questioned out loud, while finishing up a strawberry cocktail for Nola, stirring up the fruit within before passing her over the cup. Arya chuckled some and then stuck her tongue out. "I've been doing my homework. All of Bayrios's Edicts follow exactly what our dear Cara here said. 'Do X or Y happens'. But she didn't bring some other part up, something I caught on after I began researching this asshole's previous edicts." Arya exclaimed before proudly whipping out and slapping on top of the table a big file folder, filled with papers, some seemed to be brand new, while others were tattered and beaten up. "A more accurate way of describing them would be, 'Do X by Y, or Z happens.' or 'Until X happens, Z happens', so on and so forth." She concluded, though her conclusion didn't seem to exactly land much clarity on anyone else.

Noticing this, she frowned some and explained some more. "Bullabhan still exists. It's not the beautiful, lush planet it once was. But it still exists, because there are still "sons of Bullabhan" who resist Bayrios's will. There was another edict a fair few years back, not very well known this one, and I didn't pay it much mind myself, until it hit me." She explained, a huge grin on her face. "On planet Wollka," She began, pulling out one of the freshest papers in her folder. "The Edict was, until the natives of Wolka don't stop fighting against Bayrios's forces, the planet's atmosphere will thin away, until the planet freezes over. When the temperatures began dropping all around the world, they got scared and surrendered. But, ever since they did, I have it right here on this report," she taps the paper once more. "The planet's atmosphere has been slowly regenerating."

Andy was right now serving another vodka to Cara. "...Sis, what's your point? I'm still confused." Arya chuckled, crossing her arms and kicking her feet up in her chair. "It's simple. Like I said, we're going to do EXACTLY whatever the Edict wants us to do. And then, right after the conditions so that the Edict is valid are no longer true, we push these fuckers out of our planet for good. They'll be demoralized and shocked, to find that their leader failed to win things over for them. If he sends another Edict, we do it again."

Aermis

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Wits Roll 93! Wits LvUp!

With a deep breath, Aermis traced her sigil and established a stable, functional link between herself and her pet. Right now she was feeling all that he was feeling, and so was he feeling all that she was feeling! The creature was, simply put, rather anxious. It might not be incredibly smart or tactful, but it was intelligent enough to have a bad feeling about this entire situation. It seemed to let out the equivalent of what one could call a sigh, its tentacles drooping slightly as it tried to best express itself, especially with the mind link and what not...Although...As Aermis connected to Squiddles, she realized a little bothersome detail. By doing so, she had technically just double the intensity of the aphrodisiac effects of the atmosphere not only on herself, but also on Squiddles, as she was now technically absorbing it twice times over.

Squiddles seemed to be holding it in, for the most part, though the tip of his appendages began to slightly dribble with the creature's natural lubricant, its body getting ready to get things on at the nearest possible opportunity. Aermis herself, felt the arousal hitting her like a truck, a wave of heat which shot up the entirety of her body which quickly made her sex much more sensitive than it had been a moment prior. You wager you could just try in the tentacle- I mean, desire to do anything at the moment, though it would probably be a smart idea to cut off the link with Squiddles first, otherwise, it might be a bit difficult.

...Alternatively, well, you did manage to land this sigil and both you and Squiddles were in the mood. Perhaps trying out a little "session" where both of you are feeling not only your own feelings, but also each others might be...Enlightening.

Aurora

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Aurora opened her eyes to look at messenger, she found the woman to have just kept the same vacant, distant stare she had ever since she embarked on the ship. It was hard to tell if the girl's skin was as pale as she was simply because of her skin complexion or because she just really didn't get much sunlight at all and, honestly, you weren't too sure you wanted to know. I mean heck, this creep didn't even seem affected by the atmosphere! Or at least, if she was, she wasn't showing it. As you addressed her, she turned to stare at your general direction, not at you, directly, as usual, she seemed to glare right through you, almost.

For a moment you got a feeling she was just going to ignore you, but then her lips slowly pursed open. "I'd suggest getting some looser clothing for walking around the planet, your dick is showing." She called out, rather non-chalantly before she glanced away from you once more, leaving you with only that as an answer before she added. "I know not the Overlord's plans or the reason behind such a small vessel." She stated, closing her eyes in thought. "My best theory would be the Overlord might've wanted something..."

"Disposable."

She glanced at you again. "...Don't dwell too much on it...Do you want help with that?" She questioned, it took you a moment to catch on what she was staring or referring to at exactly, but, yeah, it was your dick.

Lyalah

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Wits roll 30! Failure!

No big deal, just a light arousal spell, just gotta be careful not to stretch the last line of the sigil too far or-

Just as you were going to finish up the sigil, the patient herself stirred around in her sleep, moving her thigh away, probably in response to the cold breeze that just wafted in after you pulled her gown up. Sadly, this made you accidentally stretch the last line that was previously mentioned a little too much, to around about her knee, actually. Oops. The sigil then took effect, and the effect was...Strong. Very strong.

More specifically, from just giving the soldier's dual splices some extra arousal, she ended up kicking them right up to full gear and then well over. The patient's eyes shot open, as her twin pricks shot right up into the air. Despite her pale skin and white hair, her actual spliced tools under the belt were black, not black as in skin color though, actual jet black, they also were much more similar to a reptillian's prick than a human's, they were long and shaped like one big spike, with a natural (Well, as natural as a splice gets, at least), yellow, nearly golden ring around the base of the dark shaft.

Well, that was about as much as you were able to get a look at before you really began wishing you brought you were wearing your helmet. Your sigil had kicked her right into an orgasm, a rather explosive one at that as her twin pricks hosed out blasts of cum all over anyone and anything nearby, namely, you. You managed to close your eyes just in time to avoid getting it in your eyes, some of it landing around your nose, down to your mouth, all over your chest and a good chunk of it landing on your own thighs. Heck, some of it even got inside your turtleneck, as evidenced by the sudden sticky feeling around your neck. After you were able to open your eyes properly again without having to worry about getting hit with the cross-fire, you found the girl to be on the bed still, back arching slightly as her cocks continued to shoot a few weaker strings all over herself before her sigil induced orgasm finally expired.

The soldier was breathing heavily and her pale face was all flushed, understandably so, even more as she slowly began actually taking in what was happening around her. "O-Oh my god! I-I'm so sorry!" She pleaded, cupping up her face in shame. "This planet's damn atmosphere...!" She grunted, looking like she was about to rip her own face off in embarrassment before she began actually looking around, confused. "...W-Wait, where am I? This...Isn't Passerna." She affirmed, scanning around in concern. For better or for worse, even after that massive load, her twin cocks were still hard, probably thanks to your overcharged sigil, they twitched and bulged, dribbling with cum out of their tips, both towered around eight inches each.

Echo

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"...I'll be sure to send word you volunteered right away, in that case." The butler stated, pulling out a small, traditional block of notes and writing that down, only to stash right back into his jacket's pocket. Rivolo glanced over at you walking off naked towards the shower, rolling his eyes some before he went over to pick your clothes, as you requested. As you came out of the shower, Rivolo himself helped you dress up. He picked out a casual dress, offering it alongside with a black sweatshirt below, coupled with shorts, for some extra warmth and a little more decency, seeing as the dress itself was slightly transparent, especially under the waist.

One way or another, you parted ways with Rivolo afterwards as you headed to meet up with the son of your uncle, also known as cousin, Byron. She hoped, from the depths of her heart, that her cousin had not caused that much ruckus around at this time. Luckily for her, Byron had made his wing somewhat sound-proof, which kept everyone else from hearing his daily doses of debauchery. On the other hand, this made walking into his areas always a box of surprises.

Namely, the surprise was kind of ruined this time around by the presence of socks on the door handle which led into Byron's wing. What the hell was this? A university fraternity? With a sigh, Echo tried to push the door open, only to find it stuck, she applied a bit more of force, only to then hear a loud 'thump' on the other side, the door freeing up as she finally made her way inside. The door was being blocked by a drunken man who had passed out by the door, blocking it under the weight of his body, luckily for you, your pushes tipped him over and he was now resting face first on the floor. Glancing ahead, you found your brother and his "friends".

He was using that...Shirt, if it could even be called that. Supposedly, it was the latest craze around the younger social circles in Patria. He had 6 "friends" with him, 3 males and 3 females, bisexual as you knew he was, you could only guess he had his way with all six of them throughout the night, but he was right now just sitting on his chair right now as one of the girls happened to have his dick in her mouth, lathering it up as she bobbed her head up and down his prick.

He opened up his arms at you with a big smile, you felt he almost got up from the chair, but the girl kind of just pushed him back to seat. "Cousin! What can I help you with? Do you want a drink? We got some around here somewhere...I think." He mumbled, trailing off as his eyes rolled back below.

Evelynn

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The young woman found herself quickly aboard a cab, which, in Patria, were all of a bright red color. She made herself comfortable on the beige denim seats of the car, the driver setting off upon receiving the coordinates of where he was supposed to go. It was an average, middle-aged man, wearing a large beanie, tufts of hair sneaking their way out from within, a big bulgy brown jacket covered up his body as he focused on the way ahead, shooting occasional glances at you as you began smoking the back seat of his cab. With a grumble, he slightly opened up the windows on both sides of the passenger's seat, making sure the smoke from your cigarettes would find their way outside.

"...This is kind of a fair distance away from...Well, everything, really." He chatted, apparently trying to strike up some small talk as the car made its way through traffic. "Visiting someone? I'd keep your credentials on hand, these Bayrios's folk are all trigger-happy, if you ask me. Why just last week they-" He suddenly cut himself off, as well as stopped the car, an abrupt stop nearly knocking you off the seat before you heard the man talking again. "...Oh boy, what's this now?" He questioned out loud, glancing over ahead as a mess of cars seemed to be gathering up ahead.

Annaliese + Evelynn

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You were now right by one of the many entrances into Passerna, the place in question was a big, marble ramp that led right into a big archway, where Bayrios's forces had set up a small booth, three soldiers, all in light armor, one with a pistol on his belt, one with a taser and another one which usually walked around with a baton, though the latter didn't seem to be around right now. They had been checking anyone coming in or out of the city, automatic detectors had been set up to check if the people who went by were armed, too. Luckily, Annaliese never had to bother with such detectors, or at least she was never stopped by them. Even the few times she stepped inside the town, the automatic detectors seemed to be unable to recognize the "Shopkeeper" as an actual weapon, probably because it actually was partly made out of wood and an old model at that, too, which no doubt caused the detector to become confused as to what exactly the thing was. Really, the most problem she had so far had been with her knife, and even that was something which could she could easily slip through the checkpoint without any issue.

Anna's trip to Passerna proper had been a quick one, Grim had promptly taken the bunch of you swiftly and promptly to the gates, you intended to just drop off the soldier and hopefully avoid any further trouble but, for better or for worse, it seemed like today's Monday was about to get worse. Much worse. Turns out, the guy was, indeed one of Bayrios's soldiers. Not a high-ranking officer or anything, at least, just some lowly private who seemed to think just because he was on the "winning" side, he could go and do whatever he well pleased. No no, the problem is that the other soldiers at the booth, who were nearby when you went to drop him off, knew the guy personally.

"Oh shit, it's Ulrich!"

One of the soldiers called out, seeing Grim, Anna and this "Ulrich" fellow approaching, in a sort of reflex, he just kind of began running at full speed towards the small party, stopping immediately in his tracks as he got a better look at the wound on the guy's stomach, coupled with the fact that...Well...You don't really want to get inside the personal space of a giant wolf now, do you? The soldier stopped a few safe feet away from you, his hand reaching for the taser in his belt.

"What the FUCK happened?!" He shouted, straining his voice as the other few people on foot nearby quickly began dispersing, knowing better than to stick around to see this thing through.

On the other side of the archway was Evelynn, her cab having been stopped at the checkpoint and since the soldier with the taser had rushed off to go look at...What appeared to be a girl on a big wolf? The one with the pistol had just closed up the checkpoint and was signaling for all tha cars, including the cab, to wait. Slowly making his way to check up on the situation as well. "Oh boy," The cab driver huffed. "Seems like someone's gotten into trouble."

Lyalah was ignorant to her mistake at first, but the sudden vigor the cocks sprung up with gave her a split-second to recognize that she might've drawn that rune a little wonky. She got her free look at the splices in their full glory, but the sheer volume of cum bound for her face from the twin-cocks was enough to even suprise herself in all the casual fooling-around she's done living on this planet. She calmly took the one-woman bukkake with a passive grin on her face, certainly not unwelcoming to the fountain she's unleashed. If she was unhappy about anything, it'd be that she'd have to do some cleanup later!

The soldier just managed to cover her face to avoid Lyalah starting to clean the cum off of her face, clearly having no qualms about licking it off her hands.
"You'd be correct, soldier. You're in my very modest clinic right in the middle of it all. The locals that brought you in told me you were shot out of the sky, and from the shape you were in, I would've believed you went down with a starship instead of a fighter." She grins, finished cleaning most of what hit her head. Lyalah was content to just leave the rest for now, if she was even acknowledging the rest of the mess on her... "No~thing outside of my comfort zone. Aside from some stiffness," Lyalah's grin tugs out a bit more at the accidental joke, "you're as good as you'll be getting through surgeries and magic."

"I'm Lyalah." She remains leaned on to the bed with her thick ass stuck out, less than concerned about how close she is to the dual-cocks in front of her. "And I'll admit, this was me checking to see if everything worked properly. I'm quite pleased, actually."

That being the first thing Aurora heard from the Messenger brought a smile to her face and a light giggle. Perhaps she should have taken the opportunity to chat earlier but... well, that stage had been rather busy.
Anyway, she did have a point. The cyborg couldn't help but teasingly rock her hips forward.
"Why, too distracting for you? Kidding, you're probably right. Don't want to locals to go crazy for me."
Her smile lowered somewhat, her expression becoming as thoughtful as the other pale-skinned woman. Disposable, right. As if most of Their armies weren't disposable. But then again...

"If that's the case, who'd be dumb enough to shoot down a ship carrying an Edict? You'll just get another one or an army up your arse."
Aurora giggled again, this Messenger was actually rather amusing. To think someone with such a blank, and frankly creepy, expression could make quips or offer sexual favours right after discussing the greatest doomsday weapon in the galaxy. At least, it was amusing to someone with a low-standard sense of humour. The piercing gaze sent a shiver down her spine, but the prospect of getting off did cause a nice tightening downstairs.
After a moment, Aurora took a few steps closer towards the Messenger, using a wall to lean over her. Creepy or not, she did have a nice set of lips on her.
"If you're offerin', I'd love some."

Gaia's hands all but froze at the simple statement of the resistance leader, the illusion sigil patiently waiting for her to continue casting it as her brow furrowed with intrigue. Sadly her loss of focus had allowed the sounds of the nearby sexapades to thoroughly penetrate her ears, nearly drowning out what she was hearing and making it difficult to think for herself. Quickly trying to avoid getting aroused right about now, she took to thinking of how strangely compromising this situation was and with a soft giggle at the strangely compromising situation, the elvish woman waved away the unfinished spell and swung her legs out of the booth, her shoes clacking quietly on the floor before she swiftly pulled herself into a standing position. What used to be an intensely curious frown was now back to it's usual mirthful smirk with perhaps the slightest undertones of interest as she strode up to the bar counter and, with the slightest dip of her lips, reluctantly sat next to the tall as all hell woman that looked like she could literally snap her spine in half.

Ignoring the giant next to her to spare some sanity, she leaned forward onto the bar counter and listened intently to what her de facto leader had rattling in that head of hers. As soon as Arya stopped explaining with vague as fuck variables and started laying out the files, she started seeing the patterns, and the smirk grew. The countermeasure was as humorously backwards as it was likely effective, and if this Edict's parameters were anything like the others then it wouldn't be much of a problem at all. She might even be able to get her hands on the Edict once it's been rendered null! Still, she waved her hand over, " 'Scuse me, got a little er... hole to poke in your plan there. It's good! But, well, how are we going to take Passerna? I get that tossing their Edict away like yesterday's news would be good for demoralizing them, but even if we can catch them by surprise that still is one hell of a force to contend with. We'll all just be back at square one won't we?"

Derek felt himself shiver at just how much the other man seemed to enjoy the awkwardness the atmosphere seemed to provide. He couldn't help but notice the older man's blatant arousal turning his head away to ignore the issue. He couldn't tell if the merc was even aware of his situation. The way he stepped forward made it seem like he was entirely unaware of it or was purposely trying to make Derek squirm by bringing it right up to his face. He became pretty certain it was the latter when a finger drew him to look the merc in the face with his erection clearly in the way. There was no way he couldn't see it too. Pulling his head away was the most defiance he could muster as he once again turned away from the erection held so uncomfortably close to his face.

He blushed when Jason grew more casual again and wondered if he'd just been imagining the way he had been cowing him. "No, I haven't been to any other planets." Derek never liked talking about his home planet destoyed by one of the same edicts on this very ship, so he'd taken to pretending he was originally from Jurioch, the planet he'd been on when Pelkoth was struck. He listened as Jason talked about how the war would end. His ears flicked as they were scratched behind as he found the touch more enjoyable than he carred to admit, and he blushed when Jason called him cute finding it strange to be complimented by someone who felt was so dangerous and intimidating to him. "I um, well I'm not really sure. My orders weren't very clear, but I assume it has something to do with my magic." He sheepishly shrugged his shoulders as he admitted his uncertainty as to why he was even sent here.

Aermis was surprised when the link actually took hold and actually anchored for a time. This was unexpected, since the connection had never been so clear before. She felt the anxiety Squiddles was emanating in waves, and somewhere in her mind, she could only but agree. Even if Squiddles wasn't intelligent enough to understand the situation, it was capable of sensing that it was dangerous, and she couldn't help but agr-.

She gasped as raw heat flooded her frame. She almost fell over completely as her legs gave way. It was only with the help of a nearby corner of a table to support her that she kept her balance. Holy Shit. Holy Shiiitttttt. Her legs were shaking and her pulse was racing. Her breathing was reduced to short, ragged gasps as she tried not to immediately get herself off. It seems that there was a feedback loop going on, and if this was to continue, her brain would turn into mush from cumming. As interesting as it would be to try and test the limits of the feedback loops, she would probably want to test it in safer, more controlled locations. Without a second thought, she canceled the link, feeling Squiddles' mind fade from her own, leaving a small, but noticeable gap in her thoughts. But the heat that pulsed in her core did not fade that easily. Keeping her mind strong, she tried and do away with such thoughts. She could whore herself out to her tentacle beast later, she wanted to have that talk to the Messenger now that she had kept up with her pet's condition.

Noticing that the invitingly writhing form of Squiddles' tentacles were leaking lubricant, she tried to muster her voice and shakily said, "Squ- idles... Beha- behave. Just- just hold out a little longer, okay?" She was consciously aware that under her Shielded cloak and her modest sweater and knee- length skirt, she wasn't wearing underwear underneath. And that she was leaking almost as badly as her pet. "Come... along" she slipped, catching her own tone at the moment, and beckoned her pet follow. She wanted to have a few words from the messenger. Maybe that would give a clue to why she was sent here. Mustering as much composure as she could, she shakily walked out the door.
