Aya waved her hand dismissively. Unprofessional of her, but whatever. She had no intention of starting an argument with the girl. But she did call out.
"I'll finish the plan then. Once you're done with your preparations, meet me in the barracks. Moore, that goes to you too. If you have nothing else to add, go start your prep. Don't take too long. Tell that to whoever is operating on your Frame as well."
She dismissed to two, pulling up her PDA and writing down what they had so far for the plan, also stopping and saving the recording she had made. Trust or not, she was probably going to be bringing Mini. A first test, maybe. Aya sighed, hoping the decision wouldn't bite her in the ass.
Once Lucy had left as well, she sent the recording to the Commander and tried to message her.
"That's what I got. I'm not going to push this too hard, especially just before deployment, but that girl needs to be watched. I'll look more into her afterwards, but I will bring her along to this mission. Social situations don't seem to be her comfort zone, so I want to see what she's like in that zone. You'll get my full report of Mini 'Nevall' after our success. Lynch, out."
Well that was a thing. Maybe she could nap a little before the deployment, buuuuuuuuut then the plan wouldn't be done and they might die. Decisions, decisions.
Plan first, then inspection, then nap.
So they would clear out or pacify any scouts and fighting Breakers on the outside of the quarry. If there were any explosives in the area, they would collect them for later. Lucy Moore would move ahead of Aya Lynch and Mini Nevall to scout and spot any enemies. If she was caught, she would lead the enemy back to Aya and Mini for an ambush, or chase and kill it if it wasn't keen on chasing. Any locations on the outside of the quarry that were likely hiding more of the creatures would have to be spotted out and crushed.
Once inside the mine, things weren't so clear. No real map other than a really old one from well before the Endless Summer. They would have to stick together, Aya with her shield in the front with Lucy in the back to cover the rear. Clear the place out as best as possible, set and then detonate the explosives to crush the nest and any stragglers. Don't get separated and make sure no pincer attack is incoming.
As far as plans go, it wasn't the best. Not full-proof at all, but it was something. Putting her jovial air back on, Aya made her way to the hangar. Time for an inspection of her own Frame. As she walked, Aya sent a message to any relevant engineer to talk to Mini about the possibility of altering some of her and Aya's own missiles to be remote detonated.
Though she didn't correct her uniform, leaving it how she had it in her relaxed posture. They'd be taking it off anyway once they were ready to be deployed. Hmmm, maybe she could get her cute subordinates to get changed into their Frame suits all together...
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
I this setting has things like the Plug suits or whatever...
