"Hello, we would like to congratulate you on your acceptance to Wegener Academy. Please mark on the line bellow with any form of signature your particular species may possess to complete your pre-enrollment process. If you have changed your mind and believe do not feel that you need the necessary information the Academy offers, please tear this paper horizontally in half and burn it in the nearest appropriate receptacle and soak the ashes in lukewarm water for 47 minutes exactly. (Please disregard if you have been ordered by the Supernatural Investigation Unit to attend.)" The letter in your hand was finished in a flourish. Bellow the brief, elegantly written paragraph sat a dotted line meant for you to sign.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The cold winds of Tibet blew hard this morning. It had finally come. You were initially shocked when it so suddenly appeared out of nowhere, right in the mouth of the small cave your family had lived in since last week when you needed a technical geological location in order for the letter to be received. You held the letter in your hand as gingerly as you could as you read it aloud. Currently, your father was watching over you. He stared through the darkness with burning yellow eyes as you read aloud in full form. After you had finished reading the silence was absolutely deafening. He just kept staring. This wasn't exactly like him either, and with the cold creeping into the cave the air felt ominous and oppressive.

Looking over the document her eyes scanning the words as she read them, so brutish was this language. The silence that filled the cave afterward making her frown her eyes scanning the parchment before she looks around to her parents, the two dragons making her tiny in their size as she hums a little trying her best to ignore the look he was giving her and the silence that was engulfing the cave. Trying to fill it herself she lets out a sigh and looks around. "Disregarding the surplus disposal aspect of this letter how did it get here?" She asks looking at the two that sired her. "Urg the cave was getting crowded anyway." She comments with a shrug before she looks around and burns something to make charcoal and writes her name, using her claws to sharpen the piece of hard ash so she could write elegantly. With that done she folds the paper back up and looks around. "Exactly how do I have this delivered anyway?" She comments folding her wings around herself as she takes a more human appearance though still carrying everything her draconic bloodline had.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The minute you look up, you notice the blue of the cave is gone. The cold is gone. Your father is gone. Instead around you only black. After a moment your eyes adjust, and you realize you're in a room of obsidian intricately carved with Olde English writings. Turning to look behind you, you see an uninterested looking middle aged female human staring blankly at you. "Hello Ms. How may I help you?" She spoke flatly, but with a hint of a more pleasant voice than here overall librarian look. She readjusted her glasses waiting for your response.

Well, it's been weird stalking this ranger outpost waiting for this stupid letter. It was night time in the... What state were you in now? Well, whatever state forest you were in now, it was dark and you've been waiting for this stupid letter for 4 days straight. The tree branch you've sitting on wavers a bit in the wind. It's a good thing humans don't look up too often. You feel yourself yawn out of boredom. How much longer could it b- OH SHIT SOMETHING JUST FLASHED GREEN IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE! You nearly fell off the branch when you feel the envelope fall into your lap. The wax seal on the front depicted a triangle with an x in it.

Looking around the black room her eyes glaring as she spots the human her wings stretching to their full span as she stares at her. "I signed this and how the hell am i here?" She asks angrily before gripping the letter in her hands. blinking she notes the letter again and looks at the woman. "Is this for you?" She asks passing it to her seemingly more confused than actually angry. "I didn't get to say bye...." She shrugs a little unsure of what her parents were doing just now, they might of known it was going to happen or they might now be going on a rampage in search of her, any nearby human settlement is sure to be burnt to the ground when two angry adult dragons coming raining down on them without warning.

The woman cracked a smile. "Oh, my apologies, I had assumed you recognized the magic behind it's initial delivery." She now spoke with a sickly sweet voice. Condescending as she was, she now put on a more maternal air about her. "To put it bluntly, you were teleported here when you signed your name." Her smile grew wider. "The paper I will not need. As for your unfortunate lack of farewell, well we do have a magical post office here. You may send letters to anyone in the monster world you may miss." The smile faded. "However, if you wish to go back then all you need to do is say the word. You are a reclusive citizen are you not?" She left the question in the air.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The owl sat along your branch perched there in the midst of what seemed almost like a grave yard of trees. Your neighbors were silent, dead but their bodies flourished. Above you, the waning night sky seemed to rain down stars through odd colored glass, beckoning you to drink the moonlight and forget yourself. Yet you did not. Horrific as it was, the owl's presence comforted you. AboveYou felt warmer with it simply standing there with an envelope in it's beak. When it was safe you came out of your trunk and sat there with it. It laid the letter on your lap and left it there. It's head turned slightly to the side curiously as it watched you holding the envelope.

Glaring at her she shakes her head and frowns, glaring at the woman as her bares her fangs, her razor sharp teeth capable of tearing the woman's arms and legs from their sockets. "Watch your tone human." She growls out as she closes the distance. "I was yes... I wish to be immersed however." She comments with a glare her eyes softening if only by a little amount before looking around. "That can wait." She comments with a smirk before folding her wings behind her back. "Care with your tone or I'll simply turn you to ash and to hell with this damn school you have created." She comments bitterly before folding her arms over her naked chest she was after all naked and wore nothing seeing little point in clothing in her previous existence.

Warren clutched his chest as he almost fell out of his tree branch. He's closing up on three centuries, they could have gave him a heart attack.
"Fucking fancy schools and your fancy magic," Warren mumbled to himself. He used one of his claws to open the envelope and started reading the letter with the dim light the ranger post granted him. His eyes were used to the dark, so it wasn't too hard.

Gwendolyn reached out and brushed her hand against the owl coat. "From where did you come ole' wise one? And to where have you arrived?" She said in her soft sweet voice that seemed to tickle the air as it passed. She looked down at the parchment, a long dead tree that would hear no more songs, never again dance in the wind, or shelter from the rain. A tear escaped from her eyes and rolled down her inflamed cheeks, eventually splashing onto the envelope. She turned to her newest acquaintance for guidance, but he offered the same inquisitive look as he did before. With more tears welling behind her eyes she broke through the colored wax seal and pulled free the second piece of cold dead paper. She read the document over and over again clutching it tightly in her hands. She had never had to sign anything in her life, nor had she ever witnessed anyone sign anything, but the ominous blank space on the page spoke to her. She cast one of her hands upward and a branch containing a single cherry bent towards the earth. She plucked if from the branch and bit into its soft sweet flesh. She took a deep breath and pressed the severed, juice-leaking cherry to the page.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The air suddenly became colder, even chilling you to your otherwise molten core. "Burn?" She stood slowly from her desk, seeming to get taller all of a sudden. She stared at you her eyes becoming black and hollow. "Human?" Her mouth stretched into an impossibly wide grin and her cheeks tore at the seems. Her teeth seemed to rot inside her mouth and became black and yellow and infested with something wriggling. "Oh my poor dear, you must be confused." She began to laugh as she spoke. Her nose shrank away to nothing but sockets and her glasses fell from her face clacking onto the desk. "There are no humans here." Her voice raised an octave with every word. Her dress began to tear and age in odd places. Her limbs became long and lanky. Her skin paled and cracked grey. Her hair fell out of the neat bun on her head, faded, and thinned, becoming strands of grey and black weeds. "And if you intend to be burning anything here," She suddenly glided forward through her desk and the wall, making you stumble backward in shock or horror staring you in the eye mere inches away. "WE WILL SEE TO IT THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ANYMORE." The words came like arrows to your ears as she shrieked. It was agonizing. You fell to the floor writhing as she continued to shriek. You clamped your hands to your ears and you felt blood. Fire brimmed from your throat and coiled above you intensely. Just stop! Make it stop! And then it did. Silence was there again. When you looked up again, the woman was back at her desk as she was before, tying her hair back into a bun and blinking the black from her eyes. "Now, if I made myself appropriately clear, would you care to finish this paperwork?" She tapped on a short stack of papers on the desk.

Your senses became overloaded with the speech of dozens of other strange voices within the heart of trees nearby. Strange, but joy surged through you none the less! As you took a moment to look around, you saw birds and rodents and deer! Water coming down a stream not 10 ft. from you! Wild flowers bloomed different shades and the air tasted of cleanliness. "Ehem." As you look towards the source of the noise, you see a small green humanoid with wings sprouting from it's back. As you took a moment longer to look, you realize it is actually a she, and she has a... tulip for a head?

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Last night was weird, or at least your dream was. From what you could remember, you were stuck in a zombie movie, but naked and all the zombies were male. Most of it you spent on top of a car with them reaching for you. The rest you can't quite remember. Something about an Asian guy driving a fast car with the alarm going off? Didn't take much to realize the connotations to reality. "Natalie?" Your mother knocked on your door lightly. "May I come in?"
Sera
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Benjamin had told you specifically 3:00 Am on top of the Arch in Saint Louis, and currently it's 4:56 Am. You spent most of the almost two hours humming and kicking your feet in the wind. You figure you may as well go home, considering daylight is only a half hour away. "Hey, excuse me ma'am, but can't commit suicide up here." You turn around to see a shaggy blond haired man dressed in a vest and dress pants. Ben, another fallen angel, was one of the many who had sold their wings on the black market for a little cosmetic magic to live like a human. He was your in for the Academy, and from the look of the envelope in his hand, he hadn't disappointed. Maybe it was worth the danger of nearly getting shot down by a hunter. "Oh sorry about that Sera, Mistook you for some emo teen." He cocked a half smile.

"But no one could mistake you, Ben." She wafted down from the tip of the arch to face him, "Patience is virtue, the same as punctuality, which of these am I beginning to lack?"
She scowled at him briefly but ceased as she saw the envelope in his hands.
"Is that what I seek, Brother?" She asked, folding her wings up behind her, "The moon wanes and I have little time to retreat to sanctuary, tell me, Brother?"

Natalie rubbed her head with a grown as she came to her senses. What an odd dream, she shivered at the thought and jumped a little when she head a knock at the door. Relaxing she pulled the covers back up over her and called her mother in. "Yeah go ahead!" She said reaching for the water bottle she kept near her bed. Lately she had always been so thirsty no matter how much she drank, maybe it was a Siren thing? She frowned thinking about her strange heritage and how quickly it had wrecked her life.

Vorel screams her hands clutching her ears, trying to deafen the sounds as white noise tears through her being, making her bleed and writhe, her body twitching and flailing madly as she attempts to lash out at the sound with her tail trying to make it stop, the woman could change to reveal her true self. The silence. Sighing she nodded a little and rose to her feet,s tumbling a little she glares, the woman was a hag, a white of sorts she as certain but now she had angered Vorel and vorel had a mind to reveal herself as well, though she doubted the room could take it. "A banshee?" She asks with a stare the wailing and screaming was banshee esk she was sure but she couldn't be certain, banshee's were dead female ghosts, she felt alive so maybe her first guess was right. "Or a hag." She comments with a smirk before nodding. "Next time you try that, I'll transform as well, I doubt you'll be as impressive." She comments with a smirk before moving towards the stack of papers, the woman had made her point but she was a dragon she could tear this entire complex down within moments and turn most to cinder within seconds in her true form. Sighing she looks over the papers and nods. "Okay where do we start?"

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
"Oh please stop. I would rather this not end with me constricting the room to turn you to paste." The woman heaved a heavy sigh and rolled her eyes. "In case you hadn't gotten the point of that little show, threats to the academy at large are not taken lightly. You may threaten other students all you want, we don't care. Mostly. You may not, however, threaten the school or the faculty. You are neither the first nor the only dragon to enroll in this school. For you to suggest that you could destroy the school single handedly is sheer ignorance towards your environment. We teach beasts, monsters, demons, devils, spirits, and even the odd sentient turtle. We know how to deal with you. Why do you think this room is made of a fire proof material? It's a new arrival room in case one of you little snots gets their tails twisted between transition. It can change to accommodate any known species that comes through. Hell I could even make the floor pudding. In fact," She wrote something down and suddenly you sank a half a foot into something cold and slimy. When you look down, surely enough you were ankle deep in what appeared to be chocolate pudding. "Now the floor is pudding." She lifted her hand in a frustrated presentation. "Now if you're done with your little power trip, sign the fucking papers. You'll find the other students to be at least more palatable than I."

Your mother came in, dressed in a beautiful short yellow summer dress holding an envelope in her hand. "Well, it looks like it arrived." She sat down on your bed next to you. "I'm so sorry this has to happen sweetie. I really had hoped you'd taken after your father, at least he's only a werewolf."

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
"Brother huh? Still speaking in the old tongue even if it's in English. Try not to take yourself to seriously when you get to the school." He sat down on the edge next to you and looked out across the city landscape. "Yeah. It's an acceptance letter for the Academy." He turned to look you in the eye, sorrow now written into his face. "Look, Sera, you have to know something, you're the first angel to be taught at that school. By the time I went there, I had lost my wings and my divinity. I was basically human, but you? There's gonna be a lot of folks there that'd rather stake you in the head and turn you into a human meat cross turned upside down than see you succeed. Try to take care of yourself and don't get offended when they threaten or insult you. They're truly scared of who you are and what you represent. The church, though it may not speak for us, let alone God, drives a lot of negative connotations from their collective pasts. Please, I beg you, be kind to them and show them that our kind are better than the mortals who burn them at the stake for the sin of existence."

Natalie laughed at the comment, yeah life would have been so much easier if she had been covered in fur once a month, she thought sarcastically. "Its fine mom, really. It will be exciting to go off to this school. At least there I'd be sort of normal right? Maybe I could even sing again." She commented having no idea how her voice might effect other creatures. She holds her hand out. "Come on let me see it, I want to read it."

Vorel shrugs and looks over the papers flapping her wings she escapes the pudding floor and shakes her head. "Whatever hag." She shakes her head and looks over the papers taking the pen without asking as if it was hers by right she signs her name in full, her script elegant and flowing before blowing warm air over it to dry the ink. "Now unless you ahve anything else I am done with you." She comments casually her head tilting to the side as she cracks the joints in her neck, making them pop with a satisfying noise as she moans.

"Oh. What a magnificent creature you are." Said Gwendolyn as she leaned down closer to the tulip. "Is this the Wegener Academy?" She asked while wiping tears from her face. She, like humans, was composed mostly of water, but her tears (and several other bodily fluids) took the form of a sweet nectar. Luckily for Gwendolyn, her skin was impervious to the sticky nature of the nectar. She glanced around herself thoroughly. She had never been to an academy, and her parents never of spoke of one, so perhaps this it was it looked like. It did look an awful lot like a forest though, so she was a bit puzzled why they gave it another name.

"Finally, and yes I am a banshee. As for you," She grinned again. "Have fuuuun." And suddenly you were in a room flying above the floor. It appeared to be a bed room. A large bed, at least sufficient enough for your current form, sat with a new school uniform in your size ironed and laid across it. A modest wardrobe stood at the opposite end of the room with a desk between them. A window gave a lovely view of a courtyard fountain surrounded by flowers and shrubbery from over the desk. The door across from it had a note taped dangling from a piece of tape.

Suddenly you were surrounded by dead stagnant air and your feet felt cold. You look down to find you're standing on smooth flat concrete. In fact, you're surrounded by concrete. There's just a single lamp dangling from a wire in the room. No furniture. No windows. No doors. Wait. No doors. There's no doors. There's no doors! TRAPPED! TRAPPED NOW! THIS IS NOT OK. You begin frantically scraping against the walls, the floor, the fucking ceiling. GET OUT! HAVE TO GET OUT! "If you're quite done, Mr. County, I'd like to begin your paperwork." As you turn to look there now sits a blond man, dressed in a black suit and a red tie. His hair is golden, his face beautiful. His eyes, poisonous green.

The tulip headed creature woman seemed to be as tall as a sapling and just as thin. Her slender frame flew upwards to where you sat on your branch making you follow her with your head up to where she was eye level with you. "There's no need to cry, and I understand your confusion. We sent Tito [Tie-Toe] to find you. We were made aware of your forced relocation and came to rescue you." She smiled brightly and spoke with a voice of similar in tone to a kitten's mew, but spoke with an accent of perfect and proper English. "This is the mass garden of Wegener Academy. Because of your special case, I was allowed to be your appointed receptionist. My name is Theila, I am a teacher of environmental attunement and host of the Nature Club here." She touched your cheek as she finished her sentence. "Welcome to your new home my child." You felt the wealth and knowledge of nature return to you. She was accepting you into the local communion, allowing you to perceive the thoughts of those within it in your immediate surroundings. She is a sprite. A pixie. She knew your thoughts just as you knew hers. She spoke to you through these feelings you now shared. Sympathy. Sadness. Relief. Happiness. Guilt. Guilt? As soon as you took notice of it, her eyes became sorrowful. "However, I am sorry to say that your parents were not so lucky." Tears welled in both hers and your eyes. "They are dead my dear. The humans cut them down and sent them away to a factory for wood. You are indeed the only one left."

"Alright honey, just don't sign it yet, I want to talk a bit more before you do." She handed you the letter, the seal was broken. You eagerly pull out the letter and begin to read.
