Anna Hyweild had spent her entire day walking, it wasn’t something new, she was never one for staying still, and no more than ever she had to keep moving. She was near certain that what she seeked was outside of Brightmoore so she had spent the last week heading toward the black mountains, the western border of Beightmoore.
At the moment you were walking through a ditch, the uneven sheet rocks piled up beneath your feet crumbling as you put weight on them, falling into the trickle of water under the rocks. The walls were covered in a deep green moss still slick with water and dripping down into the tiny stream they had built up beneath your feet. Behind you could hear the the crunching of Pika, her four feet making a distinctive noise compared to your own. The area you are in is called Deepmoss forest which had random and short yet extremely powerful rainfall. This meant that everything was always wet, but it was usually sunny out, without a cloud in the sky. Luckily at the moment it was not raining, if it where to start now, there was a chance you could drown in the ditch as it filled with rain water.
After an hour of walking through the damp and windy ditch Anna found a jagged rock with vines hanging off it. You took this chance to get out of the narrow passage that could become a watery grave any minute. From ontop of the rock you got a view out of the dense forest. Beyond you where vast wetlands sparsely populated by who you could only guess where rice farmer huts, followed by a wall of black mountains on the horizon. You had never seen the black mountains before but it was probably a safe bet to assume that was them. Also on the horizon however, where very fast approaching clouds, almost equally as black as the mountains. It wouldn't be too long until the rain hit which would likely not be a good thing if you were in the open.
Across from you, only several yards away, was a vine covered cliff which likely had a cave somewhere behind those vines you could hide in. Looking down you see below the rock was all a thick and probably deep mud, leaving you with three options. One go back down and make a sprint through the ditch, which could hopefully come out in a better spot, of course this brings the risk of drowning if you can’t get out in time. Two, try to climb through the trees to get to the cliff, if you fall though you could end up falling flat in the mud below. Or three, attempt to get through the mud, you very well might get stuck in the mud but atleast you have the lowest chance of death if you fail, though you are aware that there are beasts in these woods that would love to find you trapped in the mud. (all of these are finesse rolls, ill let you try to figure out which one is the easiest).
In any case time is of the essence so you should probably think fast. Pika seems to be getting ancy, it animal instincts fully aware of the impending storm. Though you doubt she will have as much trouble as you do regardless of your choice so you should think about yourself first.

Backstory:
Anna comes from a place called Wolf's Den. It's a very large but shallow cavern in the north east mountain ranges. The cave is home to one of the largest packs of wolves on the continent. Her tribe co-exists with the wolves in the cave. The cave is known as a holy site, filled with fire for light and plenty of wide structures built in and along the walls dotted around.
Wolf's Den is located in the Brightmoore territory. The territory of Brightmoore is known for its harsh and strange weather patterns such as spontaneous blizzards, endless rainstorms, and drastic temperature shifts. Meaning anyone living there has to be tough to not just survive, but prosper. Due to the climate, the territory of Brightmoore
has no real kingdom but instead has the Brightmoore Alliance of the tribes who train their own soldiers and will unite if the territory of Brightmoore was to be invaded. While their numbers are small compared to other kingdoms, Brightmoore territory only breeds and trains the strongest of warriors. Having done so for generations, there are few unable to fight should the situation demand it.
The territory of Brightmoore views strength above all else since magic is uncommon, but Anna's tribe has also discovered the value of friendship and cooperation from living together with the wolves. Both the wolves and the people of the tribe have learned much from each other and it is not uncommon for humans and wolves to stick together since working together is beneficial to both of them. While the humans of the tribe value strength in the image of the wolf, they also value compassion and kindness since family and friends are important.
However, due to an argument about the ways of the tribe and it's future, her younger brother left Wolf's Den and disappeared. Anna is now traveling in search for her younger brother who was meant to take over her fathers role as chief advisor one day. She travels fairly light and began her journey with only her wolf companion Pika to keep her company. Her choice of weaponry is a Glaive the length of 2 of her arms lengths. You where scribbling notes in your journel while examining a strange dead plant when you saw a glint of purplish green light out of the corner of your eye. Looking up you spot a small orb floating in the air, it was mainly green but it crackled with purple electricity. It passed by quickly through the trees ahead of you. Taking no time, you chase after it stuffing your your journal away while you ran. Ducking branhes and vaulting rocks and fallen trees you begin to gain on the anomaly which you can only hope is a sprite. You have almost caught it when you suddenly come screeching to a hault, catching yourself moments before falling into the pit infront of you. As you catch your breath you realise that in your chase you had eneded up right below one of the floating islands. This one wasnt extremely big compared to the ones closer the aldermen but it was certainly big enough for a small village. The islands have all come directly out of the ground, and as such there craters beneath all of them. Looking down again you see that in the crater where a darker form of vegetation and you could see movement below, you had always been interested in these crater ecosystems but you were always to afraid to actually go into one.
The sprite, right! Looking up you see it slowly drift upwards onto the island, damn. You know the way up, every island has a teleporting glyph at the bottom that can get you up, of course they are guarded by high elves who certainly don't want any filthy woodland elves in the few parts of aldermen garden that weren't inhabited by feral and woodland elves. It took you a little while but you manage to find a semi well kept cart trail, meaning if you follow it, it should lead you to the glyph shrine for teleportation. Following it aways, still in a hurry but keeping low as to not get spotted by a patrol of high elves. Speak of the devil.
As you hurriedly move through the brush to the side of the trail you begin to hear laughter and talking. Getting to bend in the road you opt to just climb onto the large rock that the path went around to shave off time and avoid being seen. From ontop of the rock you can see where the commotion was coming from. A group of five high elves, more surprisingly however where the two feral elves that where with them. Both of whom appeared to be bound by purple chains, that came out of thin air and where made purely out of magic. Where they touched skin they made complicated glyphs of magic that bound the elves arms and legs leaving them trapped. The bottom half of both of their “clothes” had been ripped off and both girls where being raped. One was bent over and being spitroasted with her arms hanging in the air caught by the chains. Meanwhile the other one had her arms bound together over her head and her feet held up and spread leaving her sitting mid air. A man between her legs and holding her butt for leverage. The other two where holding out their hands which where crackingling purple lighting, if you to hazard a guess they where the ones casting the chains.
This seemed like a fight you couldn't win but, if you could free the two feral elves from their bindings they would likely aid you in combat and turn the tides of the fight, plus you would catch them all with their pants down. Alternatively you could just walk around and head for the shrine. Though it has guards that you might want help defeating.

Backstory: Kades' circumstances of conception were quite unusual, considering that she was born an elf of two entirely different worlds. Her mother was a Woodland Elf hailing from the forests of Grace, a ranger of the forest that took a liking to 'tasting exotic flavors' beyond the tribe. She one day met a young High elf scholar, who seemed to be lost at the time. Her parents never married, but according to her mother's stories (which were all in mortifying detail of her own conception), there was a great deal of copulation between the two. She was born as the result of such an encounter. The truth of her mixed heritage would be hidden from the rest of her tribe for the better part of two decades, for her father had left, to return to his homeland.

Kades' life within the village was a peaceful time, since they had few encounters with the ferals. Growing up, she would end up taking much after her mother: a mischievous tomboy who pranked other with the boys and later, a more than occasionally lewd girl. She would bring mayhem, but would easily charm her way out with her good looks and smooth tongue, she felt like she was truly at home. Eventually, Kades would learn of her heritage. Unsure of what to make of her unusual existence, she began to secretly research the High elves, attempting to understand what made them so different than the Woodland elves. There, she discovered that she had a small affinity to Arcane magic. News of this was quick to spread, and eventually she was banished from the Tribe. With a few supplies and basic understanding of her own powers, she set off in the direction of where she suspected her father had originated from: Aldermen, the Capitol of High elves.

Getting to the surrounding forests, she quickly learned that it was dangerous to get too close to the city, with its strange magic interacting with the Chorus. She soon began to find herself fascinated with understanding how the two opposing branches began to interact, how the void would warp the chorus of life. She sough to understand it, make its power her own and how to master it safely. Now in her 27th year of life, she continued her research of life distortion magic, as a hermit living on the edges of the Aldermen forests.

The sounds of laughter and the clinking of dishes can be heard inside the inn. You however, are not inside the inn, oh no, you are on your knees in the alley next to the inn your head just barely below the window. The reason? Well, a man you met inside the tavern had promised you information, pivotal to the discovery of your fathers secrets. In return, you followed him out back into the alley to well… service him. You felt his hand on your head forcing you to take every last inch of his dick into your mouth. It had only been a few minutes since you had started but you could tell he was already at his edge. You simply closed your eyes and begrudgingly accepted the face fuck, you certainly didnt want this. You never thought you would stoop so low but he was adamant that he fuck you and this was the best compromise you could get. Your taken out of thought when he holds your head still at the base of his cock and very quickly thrusts just the tiniest amount back and forth for a few seconds “I am gonna hnng!” he lets loose a rather large load, though you dont have much to compare too, of cum into your mouth. Pulling out he laughs happily handing you the piece of paper with the info you needed. You turned to spit out his seed when he suddenly pulled back the paper “uhuh. You swallow or no deal girly.” he says in a bit of a slur as he is clearly very drunk. You obediently swallow, it was warm and sticky but wasn't the hottest thing you had ever swallowed, not by a mile. Once you had gotten it all down he pats you on the head and walks down the alley heading back into the inn while pulling up his pants “You should rethink your job, I think a street whore fits you perfectly!” he shouts back to you as you stand up brushing off your dirty knees. It takes a lot of willpower to not kill him on the spot, but on the bright side you got what you came for… even if you didn't get it the way you wanted too. Opening the folded piece of paper you find directions to a location at the edge of town. As you walk out of the dank alley wiping your mouth with your arm, a man walking by gives you a whistle, clearly you aren't the first women to “use” that alleyway. You shoot him a glare as you walk past in a hurry, not wanting to linger any longer.
It takes about half an hour to find the location on the paper, a half burned down grain house at the edge of town that clearly hasn't been used in many years. A wave of doubt floods over you as you begin to worry he had lied about the info. Opening the large doors at the front the first thing you see is something rather big, the size of a carriage covered in a white cloth. Its hard to see as only a thin line of light is currently being let in through the door you had opened. Whatever it was, it was covered in singed wood which had fallen from the roof. Which would make it near impossible to move, unless you had a way to move a quarter of warehouse roof. However you did find a way in by crawling under some burned debris. As you here crawling, you notice piles of grain untouched lined along the walls. Why didnt whoever owned this place salvage any of this? Getting under the tarp you realise what it is. One of your dad’s old wagons he used for trade. As you open the back door to the wagon you accidently rip it off its rusty and warn out hinges. Inside is very dark but nothing a tiny amount of fire magic cant fix, as you light your finger on fire as a makeshift candle, you look around the cramped space. The shelves were filled with all sorts of colorful dyes, vials of potions, and many other goods, weirdest of all however, was a small pocket watch which was resting in a glass case on top of a red cushion. It seemed to expensive for this cart, so why was it here? More importantly, why did it seem it was whispering to you to pick it up? That's when you heard it. “She is in here! The doors are open!” shit. Someone sold you out, it must have been the guy from the inn who got you here. You wouldnt doubt these are solaris guards outside. This would be a difficult fight.

Backstory: The daughter of a well off merchant, Lynnara grew up in the town of Irine, enjoying a very easy going life. The spoiled child knew nothing of the corruptions her father would have to deal with until one day, when her father came home in a panic, trying to hide his wife and two daughters. As she hid under the floorboards, she kept hearing these men speaking of taxes and tithes as her father continued to issue rebuttal and scramble to get papers. As she continued to watch from below, she identified these as guards of the Solice Empire of which the town of Irine belonged. Though her father was a successful merchant, she'd always known him to be honest. He would never cheat the Empire. A figure spoke out from behind the guards" though Lynnara couldnt make out who it was "You owe the Church One hundred thousand gold, for which you cannot pay, and thusly you and your family will pay it in flesh." Her father begged and pleased with the man, stating he knows that was incorrect, and then blurted out, "I've kept your secrets as per the agreement you requested of me, if you have to kill me please spare my family. They know nothing of this."
The orders to tear up the house were given, and as the guards ransaked the place, the figure stabbed her father multiple times as he fell to the floor, blood dripping through the cracks. As his cold dead eyes stared back at Lynnara, she gasped. This drew the attention of the man who stabbed her father. Now that he was closer she could see...that he was hooded. The man ordered the floorboards ripped open, and as this happened, Lynnara's mother stood, with a small knife in hand. She threw salt at the hooded figure as she tried to make time for her daughters to escape. As one guard grabbed Lynnara's sister by the throat and began to slowly crush, the other quickly dispatched of Lynnara's mother. As Lynnara fled, she grabbed a blackened jar her father told her never to go near as it was very dangerous on her way out. She then climbed into the sewers being just barely able to fit, as the guards made their way our of the house in pursuit.
Lynnara never looked back at that point, and found herself in the wild where the sewers spilled out. She didn't know what to do at this point, but she could have swore she heard someone tell her to open the jar. Was it her subconscious telling her, as her father told her it was dangerous? Or was it the spirit of her father? Yes it must have been, she thought to herself. Of course. She opened the jar only to find brimstone. But why would he have brimstone? Surely everything they said about swallowing it was just a wives tale. But at this point what could she do? She swallowed it, struggling.
Days thereafter she struggled trying to fend for herself, until she met a hermit, in the woods. This hermit, seemed to have a peculiarity about him, but was welcoming and accommodating. he would teach her base survival arts, and found various ways to keep her entertained, about the weirdest of magic tricks she could have ever seen. One day he woke her up to bid her farewell, but asked her what she wished for. She simply said the death of those who killed my family. Had she really just said that she thought? now that she thought of it, she hasn't had a way to keep time out here. She had gone from 12 to 15 quicker than she realized, spending time with the hermit. Though the next 9 years would seem like forever, as she attempted to hone what the hermit referred to has the power that dwelled inside her.

You where far from home, heading in the general direction of the center of the continent. Your only lead was there was apparently a woman who knew a lot about elderkin, creatures of a different time that still roam Talandar. That was all you knew about her except she was somewhere near the middle of this continent which wasn't much to go on but it was all you had. After traveling for weeks you find yourself on top of a tall hill. To your right was a raging waterfall that fell down into the water of the swamp below. Beyond the swamp was hopefully a town or something, because you could see smoke in the distance. You would have to cross through the swamp if you wanted to get there though and by the looks of it you didn't want to spend to much time here. As for getting down you had two options, risk climbing down the steep path to the lowland swamp, or two dive into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. The latter was far safer but it did leave you temporarily exposed in the water. The water was murky so there was no telling what might be down there.

Backstory: Slissa was always a curious little thing. Her natural curiosity and lithe frame lead to her frequently be chastised for being in places she shouldn't. Always willing to see what's up the next branch or on the other side of that hole. Some wondered if she even knew the meaning of danger.
Living in the giant's foothills was tough for any creature, but even more so for the small statured kobolds of Slissa's tribe. The massive vegetation could make for good shelter, but you never knew when a new tree root as wide as your own torso might decide to grow through your bedroom. The massive animals were an even greater nuisance. Even the ones that wouldn't swallow you whole would step on a home as if it were little more than a small hill. It was because of this that the position of shaman was so important to the tribes survival. Tribe members with great spiritual potential were trained to keep plant and beast from damaging the village whenever possible. For this reason it was very exciting for Slissa when she was selected to apprentice under the tribe's current shaman, the venerable Kransk.
From Kransk she learned the art of communing with both plant and animal as well as the basics of the art of magic. Her life was looking great until disaster struck. A strange plague began to befall the members of her tribe. Kransk did what she could, but could only work to slow the progress of this strange disease that began to eat away at their people. To save the tribe Slissa was sent on a quest. She would set out to find any hint of the source of their malady to try and find a cure while Kransk would continue to keep the tribe from dying off completely. With great determination Slissa has left searching for any sources of knowledge that may give her a hint to save her home.

Slissa walked along. Her destination hardly more than a vague direction. but her tribe needed her. They all counted on her to find the cause of what plagued them. All she knew was it had something to do with the elderkin and some woman near the center of the continent knew lots about them. She didn't even have a name for this mysterious woman, but knowledge of such ancient creatures couldn't be too common. She just had to hope she could get more specific information as she drew closer to her destination. For now she needed to focus on how to pass her current predicament.

The river she'd been following dumped itself into a swamp after a huge waterfall. Beyond the swamp were the fires signaling civilization or a wildfire, but she needed to stay positive. She needed to get down from here and into the swamp. She took a drink of water from the river while considering her options. She could try to climb down the steep cliff, but if she fell who knew what she'd hit on the way down. She could just dive into the water as well. The water looked disgusting and there was no telling what was in it either. She decided what she needed though was haste and the dive seemed faster than carefully treading the trail. Taking a gulp in trepidation she dove off of the cliff into the filthy water below.

As you plunge into the water you feel as if you arnt alone. Unable to see under the water you dont want to wait around and see whatever it is watching you so you quickly make a brake for the shore. You feel something brushing against your ankle as you swim. It slowly begins to wrap around your ankle as you go beginning to pull you back. This gives you a burst of energy, you quickly kick at it relentlessly before swimming with all your might, through your closed eyes the darkness is quickly becoming brighter meaning you are almost to the surface. Moments later your hand outstretched in front of you touches mud, digging your hand in and pulling your self up your head breaches the surface. Gasping for air and your heart pounding you look behind you frantically hoping whatever it was couldn't come to shore. You swear you see a single eye looking at you for a moment as you turn but now it is nothing but still water. Coming onto the shore you find yourself on the shore next to the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, the sound of the crashing water still in your ears. Jumping over the mud and onto... at least drier mud.
you sit on a log processing the situation. Your clothes are soaked, and your ankle is red from the quick fight under the water, clearly whatever was down their really wanted to pull you under. Heading forward, and attempting to stay out of water you walk for a few hours, jumping slightly whenever you hear a twig snap or the water near you bubbles. You come to a point where there is a wide channel of water between you and the next island, one you couldnt quickly jump. Looking around you notice some sturdy looking sticks aswell as some strong vines hanging from the trees. It could be possible to swing yourself over the water but if you lose your grip or let go at the wrong time you would fall face first into the water. Alternitevly you could try building some kind of rath out of the vines and sticks, that is if you knew how to (knowledge check). Your final option, just grab one of the sticks and go in the water, if something was in thier you could just beat it out of the way. Or of course you could try to use some of your magic to help you out.

Slissa felt that something was wrong as soon as she hit the water. It could simply be the inability to see, but she had the feeling something was here with her in the murky water. Something brushed against her ankle. She hopped it was just a plant swaying with the current, but it soon wrapped around with surprising force. Thankfully, a few kicks is enough to dissuade whatever is down there from dragging her deeper, and she finds nothing else to stop her from reaching the shore. Frantically, she claws her way away from the water as fast as she could. The mud dries and hardens as she gets away from the pool, and she looks back to see if anything is coming out of the water for her. She thinks she can see something staring at her, but it could just be a trick of the light and her panicked mind. At the very least, whatever grabbed her didn't seem ready to come up out of the water, so for now she seemed safe. Finding a nearby log she sat on it to assess everything as she calmed from the exertion. Her and her clothes were soaked. She could have potentially thrown her clothing to land, but the idea of it falling into the water leaving her to either walk naked or contest with that thing made her thankful the idea hadn't occurred to her until now. Her ankle was bruised from being yanked by the underwater thing. She could walk on it, but she might have to avoid anything to strenuous on it. As she walked she simply couldn't keep her nerves in check as she jumped several times when twigs snapped underfoot or any noise came from the nearby river. She came to a large channel and realized she'd need to cross it. It was too long to jump that was for sure. She spotted some vines she could use to swing across. Her ankle wouldn't be thanking her for it, but at least it wouldn't be an issue until after she was across. There seemed to be plenty of lumber for a raft, but she wasn't sure if she could figure out what she was doing with that and trying to swim it was out of the question. Walking by some of the tree she attempted to reach out with her soul to find a good sturdy one to swing across on. Perhaps she could even manage to convince it to wrap around her wrists to keep herself from losing her grip at the wrong time?

Anna considers her options carefully before settling on trying to walk her way through the mud. While it most certainly will be tiring, it will be far easier on Pika than trying to traverse the trees and will give her a clear view of everything around her. Of course, Pika could also help scout out the best route through the mud, cutting down both the time and effort to traverse it. Much better than falling into mud from the trees or drowning, that was for certain.

Having decided, she calls over Pika and indicates the mud and that the best route would most likely be to cross it. She waits for Pika's approval of the plan before moving forward, following Pika's chosen route based on her quadrupedal form moving over mud much easier while being able to find the most solid ground in the mud. Of course, while Pika helps out spotting the best route through, Anna makes sure to keep an eye out on their surroundings. Looking at your own feet would amount to nothing if they found themselves surrounded by enemies while in the middle of this troublesome mud.

Kades had lived in the Gardens of Aldermen for the better part of seven years. And never had she been this excited. Among the strange flora, and even stranger occasional fauna, she'd never seen something like this before. And she was pretty sure if that was what she thought is was, then she never expected to ever see it, even with her long lifespan. She had heard stories of Sprites, the accumilation of the Chorus in a particular area. Stranger still that one appear here, in the forest warped by the arcane magic that oozed from the High Elven capitol.
So caught up in her attempt to follow it, she almost missed a pair of Feral elf women being raped by high elves. Although it looked like fun to join in on, Kades had a personal distaste against the High elves huge egos. That could do with some deflating. Keeping in mind the fact that she was on a timer to find out if it was a sprite or not she saw, less it disappate before she got to it, called upon her natural magics, mouthing a hymn to the forst, for vines to grow and strike the High elves off their high horse.

Pika's ears perk up as you tell the plan, she barks in agreement before lunging off the rock onto a small rock, turning back to you her tail wagging waiting for your approval before turning back around and treading lightly across the mud toward the cliff. You doubt you can make the same jump but it was worth shot. Back up for a running start you charge the edge of the rock and jump as far as you can, planting firmly on top of the rock, just barely keeping yourself from falling into the mud. You then get to the harder part, walking over the mud. The distance has been halved but it still wont be easy. You took your time, or at least as much time as you can take while watching the clouds looming in the distance getting closer at an unnatural speed. You make it most of the way across when suddenly you see a pair of eyes looking at you from the bushes only a couple feet away from you. You panic and put too much weight into your foot when you finish your current step, plunging your foot into the mud. The eyes look at your trapped foot and then back up too you, this couldn't end well. You turn away and focus on getting your leg out of the mud. Grabbing it with both hands you yank with all your might and miraculously it pops out, though... you are missing all of the clothing on your leg (I have no idea what you wear on your legs or what your shoes are since the picture doesnt go that low so if you could explain in your post that would be great!) There is no time to celebrate as you feel hot breathing on your neck followed by a long lick of a big tongue, you tense up in fear. But you manage to focus in on your feet and do a half run across the mud, somehow you make it with out getting stuck in the mud, Pika starts barking at whatever is behind you but you dare not brake concentration. Grabbing onto the vines and pulling yourself up you turn back to look at what is chasing you. Pika is still barking but whatever it was it back away, probably seeking out shelter for the coming storm. It did however leave two big foot prints on either side on the hole you made. You shutter to think what would have happened to you if you hadn't gotten your leg out in time, it was a bit... friendly with you in a bad way. Pika finally stops barking when you climb up to the ledge she is on, she promptly nuzzles against you before running across the ledge and then disappeared around the corner. Following her you find she has gone into a cave around the bend. The cave went up hill for about 2 or three feet before reaching a small plateau wide enough to fit you and pika semi comfortably if you stick your legs out onto the ramp, followed by a rock wall ending the tiny cave. It was however on the cliff face facing the the wet lands giving you a nice view of the storm that was minutes from hitting as well as the mountains in the distance, it was a breath taking view but you where too focused on survival to appreciate it as much as most would. When the storm does hit, it hits hard. It wasnt like a rainstorm, it as more like a waterfall, over the whole forest. The entrance to the cave is quickly covered in a wall of water and the only thing you can hear over the "rain" is your own thoughts and pikas whining. You didnt know how long this would last but you where glad you werent out in that mud.

Anna comes from a place called Wolf's Den. It's a very large but shallow cavern in the north east mountain ranges. The cave is home to one of the largest packs of wolves on the continent. Her tribe co-exists with the wolves in the cave. The cave is known as a holy site, filled with fire for light and plenty of wide structures built in and along the walls dotted around.
Wolf's Den is located in the Brightmoore territory. The territory of Brightmoore is known for its harsh and strange weather patterns such as spontaneous blizzards, endless rainstorms, and drastic temperature shifts. Meaning anyone living there has to be tough to not just survive, but prosper. Due to the climate, the territory of Brightmoore
has no real kingdom but instead has the Brightmoore Alliance of the tribes who train their own soldiers and will unite if the territory of Brightmoore was to be invaded. While their numbers are small compared to other kingdoms, Brightmoore territory only breeds and trains the strongest of warriors. Having done so for generations, there are few unable to fight should the situation demand it.
The territory of Brightmoore views strength above all else since magic is uncommon, but Anna's tribe has also discovered the value of friendship and cooperation from living together with the wolves. Both the wolves and the people of the tribe have learned much from each other and it is not uncommon for humans and wolves to stick together since working together is beneficial to both of them. While the humans of the tribe value strength in the image of the wolf, they also value compassion and kindness since family and friends are important.
However, due to an argument about the ways of the tribe and it's future, her younger brother left Wolf's Den and disappeared. Anna is now traveling in search for her younger brother who was meant to take over her fathers role as chief advisor one day. She travels fairly light and began her journey with only her wolf companion Pika to keep her company. Her choice of weaponry is a Glaive the length of 2 of her arms lengths. Not wanting o let the high elves get anymore satisfaction you close your eyes in twining yourself with the song of the plants around. Sure enough your alterations work and the vines shoot out, three of them wrapping themselves around the elf face fucking me of the girls. Yanking him him off with a satisfying pop when his dick is pulled out of her mouth. He is then pulled into the bushes where the plants hickey dispatch of him. The other vines, are less successful, they manage to disarm the high elf fucking the other feral but when attempting to grab him he jumps back and warps the time of the vines causing them to age and die. you weren't able to control anymore plants at once at your level so everyone else is fine. However, before you can open your eyes, you lose your footing. The rock you where standing on brakes off from the short ledge and plummeted onto the path below. You, naturally, follow unite. Barreling down the ledge kicking up a cloud of dirt before face planting on the path infront of the bewildered high elves. You arnt injured but you certainly made a big show and the highelves are now well aware of your postion, plus you look like a fool. So much for being a hidden assailant. The remaing high elf fucking reluctantly stops and pulls out his spell sword. The other one whom has been disarmed simply uses gravity magic on you to try to keep you where you are, face down in the dirt. The preferable position of a dirty elf who has turned their back on the void. It isn't amazingly powerful but getting up will be a challenge (-1 Success to agility checks)

Backstory: Kades' circumstances of conception were quite unusual, considering that she was born an elf of two entirely different worlds. Her mother was a Woodland Elf hailing from the forests of Grace, a ranger of the forest that took a liking to 'tasting exotic flavors' beyond the tribe. She one day met a young High elf scholar, who seemed to be lost at the time. Her parents never married, but according to her mother's stories (which were all in mortifying detail of her own conception), there was a great deal of copulation between the two. She was born as the result of such an encounter. The truth of her mixed heritage would be hidden from the rest of her tribe for the better part of two decades, for her father had left, to return to his homeland.

Kades' life within the village was a peaceful time, since they had few encounters with the ferals. Growing up, she would end up taking much after her mother: a mischievous tomboy who pranked other with the boys and later, a more than occasionally lewd girl. She would bring mayhem, but would easily charm her way out with her good looks and smooth tongue, she felt like she was truly at home. Eventually, Kades would learn of her heritage. Unsure of what to make of her unusual existence, she began to secretly research the High elves, attempting to understand what made them so different than the Woodland elves. There, she discovered that she had a small affinity to Arcane magic. News of this was quick to spread, and eventually she was banished from the Tribe. With a few supplies and basic understanding of her own powers, she set off in the direction of where she suspected her father had originated from: Aldermen, the Capitol of High elves.

Getting to the surrounding forests, she quickly learned that it was dangerous to get too close to the city, with its strange magic interacting with the Chorus. She soon began to find herself fascinated with understanding how the two opposing branches began to interact, how the void would warp the chorus of life. She sough to understand it, make its power her own and how to master it safely. Now in her 27th year of life, she continued her research of life distortion magic, as a hermit living on the edges of the Aldermen forests.

Analyzing the situation you decide the best option was to swing over, with a little help from your attunment magic. Closing your eyes and opening your ears, you see the wavelengths of the plants around around, the ones further away all blending together but he plants infront of you, where perfectly clear. Finding the one that sounded the sturdiest. You open your eyes and grab the vine, it was hidden behind some other vines but you push them out of the way. Grabbing the vine you alter it's wave length, causing its end to slowly reach up to your arm and wrap around your wrist securely. The vine then wraps itself around the tree branch above you a few times to lift you off the ground. Fin here you use your own momentum to swing yourself back and forth over the channel of water. Looking down, you definitely see an eye looking at you from within the water. After a minute or so you are at the top of your swing when suddenly the vine unwraps itself from you. Causing you to go flying over the water and land safely, and... Kind of softly intoa bush. The fine behind you swinging back and forth with your momentum slowly losing its animation and becoming a normal vine again.
From here you retur to walking, abit more at ease, perhaps too at ease. Coming to a tiny clearing you take a brake from walking, since it has been atleast six hours since you took the chance to sit. Looking up at the sky you see the sun is beginning its sedentary into night, you have a good 2 hours before it goes dark. The smoke from the fires is much closer now but you arnt certain if you can make it within 2 hours meaning you'll either have to sleep in the swamp or walk in the dark. You at ebrought out of thought when you hear a growl. Winning around you notice a cave on the hill above you. Stepping out was a large tiger, looking hungrly at you. The plants around you where copies but non looking particularly sharp. This would certainly make for a though fight.

Backstory: Slissa was always a curious little thing. Her natural curiosity and lithe frame lead to her frequently be chastised for being in places she shouldn't. Always willing to see what's up the next branch or on the other side of that hole. Some wondered if she even knew the meaning of danger.
Living in the giant's foothills was tough for any creature, but even more so for the small statured kobolds of Slissa's tribe. The massive vegetation could make for good shelter, but you never knew when a new tree root as wide as your own torso might decide to grow through your bedroom. The massive animals were an even greater nuisance. Even the ones that wouldn't swallow you whole would step on a home as if it were little more than a small hill. It was because of this that the position of shaman was so important to the tribes survival. Tribe members with great spiritual potential were trained to keep plant and beast from damaging the village whenever possible. For this reason it was very exciting for Slissa when she was selected to apprentice under the tribe's current shaman, the venerable Kransk.
From Kransk she learned the art of communing with both plant and animal as well as the basics of the art of magic. Her life was looking great until disaster struck. A strange plague began to befall the members of her tribe. Kransk did what she could, but could only work to slow the progress of this strange disease that began to eat away at their people. To save the tribe Slissa was sent on a quest. She would set out to find any hint of the source of their malady to try and find a cure while Kransk would continue to keep the tribe from dying off completely. With great determination Slissa has left searching for any sources of knowledge that may give her a hint to save her home.

Slissa was happy to find the sturdy vine. Her eyes would likely have never found such a solid one. Her mind wondered to her master Kransk. She could likely have attuned to one of the trees and formed a bridge out of roots, but for Slissa's skill this should do handily. Taking a running leap and putting her faith in the plant she sailed across the gap. Her eyes couldn't help but travel downward to see that same eye again. She was glad the vine had a hold of her because she was almost certain that sight would have made her lose her grip without question. Had it followed her all this way, or was there more than one of whatever that thing may be? As she landed softly into a bush she wasn't sure which answer was more terrifying. She almost considered trying to reach out with her attunement to try to find out what it was, but she decided it might be best not to know. Instead she decided to leave as soon as possible in case that thing should decide it really could leave the water and come up for her.
The fear was quickly forgotten as she got further out. Her walk becoming rather pleasant again despite the fact she was trekking through a swamp. She came to a clearing and decided to rest her feat for a moment. She could see that the sun was starting to come back down. She would have only two hours to head to the settlement. It was so close she could almost hear the fire that was the source of the smoke, but traveling in this swamp after dark would be quite the task. Who knows what she might bump into. Better to make a camp and try to get some rest. Looking around for a good place to set up she noticed the cave. Just outside a large Tiger was sitting staring her down. She didn't need special senses to detect the hunger. She wondered about trying to Attune with it, but such a hungry beast may not be agreeable. She would easily be able to reach civilization in the morning, so she decided to try something different. Looking through her bag she checked to see if she had any meat left amongst her things. If she did she could let it eat some which might make it more agreeable, but if not she'd at least try to placate it before starting a fight. It was how she was trained after all.

Thinking quickly, Lynnara went for the watch, removing the case of possible, smashing it if it was locked. Once she had the watch in hand, she took cover waiting to hear if they entered. As dark as it was, she'd be able to see the crack to run to and see them come through it, with them having little luck seeing her. She would attempt to hide first though to see if they would attempt coming in, meanwhile trying to see what was important about this watch only briefly inspecting it before snuffing her fire out. She had to escape....But how... Her light source now being extinguished gave her the excuse to sneak to the door if they entered.

Sitting in the cave, Anna decides top pass the time by preparing for whatever the next day would have in store. She could tell this storm wouldn't be letting up for a while if the clouds where to be believed. Unpacking, she picks out the older slabs of meat and gives them to Pika while eating a loaf of bread herself with a small piece of cheese. After she and Pika are done eating, she takes out a bone for Pika to chew on. The bone didn't look much like it used too since Pika had already used it for chewing before. While Pika was occupied with her bone, Anna takes out a brush and begins grooming Pika, cleaning her fur from dirt and grime from traveling outside for so long. Once she's done, Anna does a few stretches for her muscles to relax and begins preparing her sleeping bag. While doing so, she also remembers her lost footwear and grimaces at the thought of it still being out there in the rain. If she was to be lucky, she'd be able to find and retrieve it tomorrow, but she doubted that, meaning she'd have to use her second pair far sooner than she'd anticipated. Taking off and putting away her remaining snakeskin boot, Anna instead took out her goat fur boots. They were much more comfortable, but less suited for long travels since they weren't as sturdy when it came to durability. She had saved them for last since they would have gotten torn or destroyed very quickly otherwise. Sighing to herself, Anna closes her bag and tells Pika to rest while she's keeping guard so that they could switch after a while. After having kept guard for a long time, she eventually wakes Pika carefully and switches with her, hoping to find her snakeskin boot after waking up.

Waking up you find the rain is still going, you curse to yourself, how long is this going to last? A few minutes later while watching the rain, which was still going as hard as it was when it started, it suddenly, stops, completely, no drizzle, nothing, the sun begins to come back out and light the very wet area. Water was still powering off everything and there where rivers everywhere. But, after waiting a few more minutes it cleared up enough that you could go outside without getting washed away by what was essentially a flash flood. Looking for your shoe you find the mud patch from earlier was now a pond, you recognize the rock you stood on earlier which was now barely above the water which had risen at least 5 or six feet. You doubt you will get your old boot back unless you are ready to go for swim. The other way toward the wetlands was now open, the cliff that marked the edge of the forest was now a waterfall that stretched about a mile wide and was pouring water over it in copious amounts so getting down to the wetlands would be more tricky then you thought, you may have to get creative if you want to get down the 200 waterfall down to the wetlands, and going around would take another day.

Looking inside your pack you luckly happened to have some uncooked meat on you that you got recently during your travels. Using your attunemnt you quickly try to adapt the tiger's song to yours to make them more harmonious, this works very well, which is good, because you never where good at charming people, and apparently not animals either. You carefully approach the beast and hand out the piece of meat. It watches your every step, its muscles seem somewhat relaxed thanks your magic but his eyes look at suspiciously still ready to eat you if you make any sudden moves. He does however seem to accept the meat, taking it from you and eating it. When he is done, he stands up and looks at you hungrily still, confused you look down and realise you must have screwed up your attunment some where as he now has a massive erection. His large feline cock at full mast, and then some, it wasn't the worst thing you could have done but you silently curse yourself for having flubbed your magic. Living in the giant's foothills was tough for any creature, but even more so for the small statured kobolds of Slissa's tribe. The massive vegetation could make for good shelter, but you never knew when a new tree root as wide as your own torso might decide to grow through your bedroom. The massive animals were an even greater nuisance. Even the ones that wouldn't swallow you whole would step on a home as if it were little more than a small hill. It was because of this that the position of shaman was so important to the tribes survival. Tribe members with great spiritual potential were trained to keep plant and beast from damaging the village whenever possible. For this reason it was very exciting for Slissa when she was selected to apprentice under the tribe's current shaman, the venerable Kransk.
From Kransk she learned the art of communing with both plant and animal as well as the basics of the art of magic. Her life was looking great until disaster struck. A strange plague began to befall the members of her tribe. Kransk did what she could, but could only work to slow the progress of this strange disease that began to eat away at their people. To save the tribe Slissa was sent on a quest. She would set out to find any hint of the source of their malady to try and find a cure while Kransk would continue to keep the tribe from dying off completely. With great determination Slissa has left searching for any sources of knowledge that may give her a hint to save her home.

You push yourself down more trying to find away out that can keep you from getting spotted, finding none you look back to the watch which was hard to see in the dark. Admiring the watch you see it delicately made out some kind of reddish gold and was covered in ornate carvings, this item must cost a fortune. Trying your best not to scream in pain and alert the guards who you could still hear walking around. You wake up, not sure how much time had passed and all you hear are moans from several men as well lots of slapping of skin. The smell of sex was overpowering, what has happened since you fell asleep,? you where still right where you where before, albeit a bit more spread out and comfterbale with a tiny puddle of droul... man you really fell into deep sleep, did the silence of the sun happen? A figure spoke out from behind the guards" though Lynnara couldnt make out who it was "You owe the Church One hundred thousand gold, for which you cannot pay, and thusly you and your family will pay it in flesh." Her father begged and pleased with the man, stating he knows that was incorrect, and then blurted out, "I've kept your secrets as per the agreement you requested of me, if you have to kill me please spare my family. They know nothing of this."
The orders to tear up the house were given, and as the guards ransaked the place, the figure stabbed her father multiple times as he fell to the floor, blood dripping through the cracks. As his cold dead eyes stared back at Lynnara, she gasped. This drew the attention of the man who stabbed her father. Now that he was closer she could see...that he was hooded. The man ordered the floorboards ripped open, and as this happened, Lynnara's mother stood, with a small knife in hand. She threw salt at the hooded figure as she tried to make time for her daughters to escape. As one guard grabbed Lynnara's sister by the throat and began to slowly crush, the other quickly dispatched of Lynnara's mother. As Lynnara fled, she grabbed a blackened jar her father told her never to go near as it was very dangerous on her way out. She then climbed into the sewers being just barely able to fit, as the guards made their way our of the house in pursuit.
Lynnara never looked back at that point, and found herself in the wild where the sewers spilled out. She didn't know what to do at this point, but she could have swore she heard someone tell her to open the jar. Was it her subconscious telling her, as her father told her it was dangerous? Or was it the spirit of her father? Yes it must have been, she thought to herself. Of course. She opened the jar only to find brimstone. But why would he have brimstone? Surely everything they said about swallowing it was just a wives tale. But at this point what could she do? She swallowed it, struggling.
Days thereafter she struggled trying to fend for herself, until she met a hermit, in the woods. This hermit, seemed to have a peculiarity about him, but was welcoming and accommodating. he would teach her base survival arts, and found various ways to keep her entertained, about the weirdest of magic tricks she could have ever seen. One day he woke her up to bid her farewell, but asked her what she wished for. She simply said the death of those who killed my family. Had she really just said that she thought? now that she thought of it, she hasn't had a way to keep time out here. She had gone from 12 to 15 quicker than she realized, spending time with the hermit. Though the next 9 years would seem like forever, as she attempted to hone what the hermit referred to has the power that dwelled inside her.

Slissa eyed the creature nervously as she held out the food and tried to align herself more with its song. Her training had focused early on nature. She only just started her training in beasts when the plague had struck. The Tiger thankfully began to take the meat from her hand instead of trying to tear her to pieces, so it seemed she would be okay. It was rather strange though when he didn't seem satisfied with that alone. It was the last of her meat, so she couldn't provide more if it was still hungry. Then she spotted the feline cock between his legs. It seemed she had adjusted her song too much. Now the creature saw her as a mate rather than a friend. If she didn't do something soon the large animal would easily topple her over within the next few shoves, but his circling left no opening for her to run. Looking around you find some vines and large flowers, nothing screaming sexy but if you could make it work thats what you had availble to you. Of course you could alter thier forms somewhat with attunment magic but not an amazing amount. Meanwhile, The tiger is growing impatient, it begins to push less playfully and more forcefully. Nowadays the house is only mentioned as a scandalous joke at parties, warnings of dealing with devils. For their youngest daughter was cursed with a barren womb, incapable of bearing a child despite her desires to carry on the lineage. In desperation she was made an offer by deceptive dark powers wearing the guise of a mystic. To bear a child through divine miracles, the mystic offered the girl the tools needed to summon a being capable of bearing her a son. The ritual that was to be done lasted for one black night during the blood moon. A pact was made that night. Her virginity was claimed on that night by a greater demon. Thus when three seasons had passed, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. However the childbirth was naturally troublesome. She told no one of what had transpired in order to protect her house and her son. She chose exile to protect him fleeing to the farmlands and outskirts of Burnish.

The boy grew ignorant of these truths of his birth. And was raised within the outskirts of a local lords fiefdom. Learning his alphabet and social guidance from his mother, he was reared into the doctrines of the church all the same. Her secret hopes were to use those teachings to quench the innate evil that fueled his birth. The child quickly grew from a meek boy to a swordsman, aspiring to incredible heights, learning of knightly heroes and great deed. The youth practice the art of swords and shields in order to prove himself worthy of becoming a squire. His own venture into such affairs turned out quite different. He was conscripted into the army of the noble and was properly trained in the arts of war. He never became a knight true, but he learned how to kill and grew in rank within the lords private military.

He couldn't see where the female voice came from but he knew better than to blindly trust a sourceless voice in such trying times. His instincts told him to at the very least rest his hand over his weapon, a simplistic looking hand and half sword. Still he made no move to draw it in pure hostility. Well logically thats where he suspected. He had no reason to suspect magic at the moment to hide herself. After all, what possible interest could a sorceress have with the likes of a commoner?

Anna looks around for anything not completely washed away by the flood, hoping to find something to aid her and Pika in getting down. While jumping down was an option, it was far from ideal. If not managing to break the water surface correctly, it would be just as bad as landing on solid stone and Pika's form wouldn't let her break the water surface any other way than head first, something that could end badly if she were to collide with something right under the surface. Checking the edge, Anna takes note of the side of the cliff and how suited it is for climbing, Pika could always ride on her back, even if it would be kind of heavy for Anna. And finally, Anna considered just taking the safest route. It would be far more advantageous to stay in one piece than get yourself battered and broken, unable to protect yourself when it really mattered.

Hardly seems like a legitimate plea to him. When in Hyperion, do bandits leave behind women? They capture them and either ransom them or rape them... or both. Either way whilst he wasn't buying into that, he couldn't just walk away. So rolling his eyes a touch at being taken in by a possible ruse and possibly far more trouble than it's worth he would then proceed to investigate the situation against better judgement. Seemed far more rational to thin this was some kind of goblin or troll or some other prankster fey willing to lure unwary travelers into harrowing situations. "Alright so, how did the bandits manage to leave possibly one of the more valuable pieces in their robbery behind?" He said still skeptical but now he was walking into the potential trap and all that would entail.

Backstory: Slissa was always a curious little thing. Her natural curiosity and lithe frame lead to her frequently be chastised for being in places she shouldn't. Always willing to see what's up the next branch or on the other side of that hole. Some wondered if she even knew the meaning of danger.
Living in the giant's foothills was tough for any creature, but even more so for the small statured kobolds of Slissa's tribe. The massive vegetation could make for good shelter, but you never knew when a new tree root as wide as your own torso might decide to grow through your bedroom. The massive animals were an even greater nuisance. Even the ones that wouldn't swallow you whole would step on a home as if it were little more than a small hill. It was because of this that the position of shaman was so important to the tribes survival. Tribe members with great spiritual potential were trained to keep plant and beast from damaging the village whenever possible. For this reason it was very exciting for Slissa when she was selected to apprentice under the tribe's current shaman, the venerable Kransk.
From Kransk she learned the art of communing with both plant and animal as well as the basics of the art of magic. Her life was looking great until disaster struck. A strange plague began to befall the members of her tribe. Kransk did what she could, but could only work to slow the progress of this strange disease that began to eat away at their people. To save the tribe Slissa was sent on a quest. She would set out to find any hint of the source of their malady to try and find a cure while Kransk would continue to keep the tribe from dying off completely. With great determination Slissa has left searching for any sources of knowledge that may give her a hint to save her home.

Looking at the sky it seems clear as far as the eye can see so you can only hope that it will stay this way as you begin your hike to the edge of the forest.
Several days later. You have been walking through a rather dry part of the wetlands for a couple days now and the black mountains are getting to be towering rock of burned trees and obsidian rather then shadows on the horizon. Sadly however it seems the wetlands are getting more wet and pretty soon you'll be walking in hip deep water or worse, swimming. You do notice a hut close by , albeit off course, but heading to it may save you time in the long run. Whether or not it was worth investigating becomes a harder question as not the fact the hut is on stilts over some rather deep looking water. Outside this hut you see canoe tied to one of the pillars which would make for a great transport.

Backstory:
Anna comes from a place called Wolf's Den. It's a very large but shallow cavern in the north east mountain ranges. The cave is home to one of the largest packs of wolves on the continent. Her tribe co-exists with the wolves in the cave. The cave is known as a holy site, filled with fire for light and plenty of wide structures built in and along the walls dotted around.
Wolf's Den is located in the Brightmoore territory. The territory of Brightmoore is known for its harsh and strange weather patterns such as spontaneous blizzards, endless rainstorms, and drastic temperature shifts. Meaning anyone living there has to be tough to not just survive, but prosper. Due to the climate, the territory of Brightmoore
has no real kingdom but instead has the Brightmoore Alliance of the tribes who train their own soldiers and will unite if the territory of Brightmoore was to be invaded. While their numbers are small compared to other kingdoms, Brightmoore territory only breeds and trains the strongest of warriors. Having done so for generations, there are few unable to fight should the situation demand it.
The territory of Brightmoore views strength above all else since magic is uncommon, but Anna's tribe has also discovered the value of friendship and cooperation from living together with the wolves. Both the wolves and the people of the tribe have learned much from each other and it is not uncommon for humans and wolves to stick together since working together is beneficial to both of them. While the humans of the tribe value strength in the image of the wolf, they also value compassion and kindness since family and friends are important.
However, due to an argument about the ways of the tribe and it's future, her younger brother left Wolf's Den and disappeared. Anna is now traveling in search for her younger brother who was meant to take over her fathers role as chief advisor one day. She travels fairly light and began her journey with only her wolf companion Pika to keep her company. Her choice of weaponry is a Glaive the length of 2 of her arms lengths. Cautiously approaching the under side of the bridge and peeking around to see whats under. You see a large clump of river reeds which the voice is coming from inside of. Certainly this was a trap, why else would they be so well hidden.You hear the voice again, "Are you still there?! Did you leave me here like the last man?" she shouts sadly. You still had a bad feeling about this, but you also feel guilty for not trusting her. Its up to you whether or not to help her.

He hated it when he was correct with his instinct at time but he knew what this was. He had heard the tales of women of the reeds seducing unwary men into their arm only to be drowned in the creek. Indeed it was a children's tale within the outskirts and within the city of Burnish. There were even mentioned of such creatures in the holy texts of Hyperion that mother used to write. Damn thing almost got him and whilst his conscience was screaming at him for the next action he takes, he ignored it. For he knew he was doing the right thing. Especially considering if he just leaves, it may attack other travelers. "Don't worry I didn't leave - just stay right where you are and come on out." Taking a bit of oil, some cloth and a long stick, he strikes a torch. Mentally he was already steeling himself for what needed to be done. He wasn't about to wind up the victim of this predatory fey nor would he permit others suffer the gruesome fate of drowning. Should she show herself, she would find her latest victim holding a sword and a torch. "Guessing I am meant to wade into the water next and drown with a 'beautiful woman'? Yeah, no."
