Leo closed the door and walked back to his couch he'd been practically begging fate to return to. He plummeted down onto the cushions and laid there with his gun comfortably in his grip under the covers and his mind between the soft pillowy- NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. He closed his eyes again and instead thought of the few day he had left before he'd have to move again. Maybe the runner might actually want another gun. Maybe you can move in with her, and maybe all the damn spaghetti rats will all catch a bullet and die, and money will magically appear in my hand. All equally plausible.

Jenny-Lee Pettimore & Jenny Fatigue Check: 5 dice (-3 for intoxication)= 8 10+ 3 2 Successes
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

It didn't take long for Jenny's country blood to recover from her intoxication. A pounding headache and possibly the worst breath she has ever had greeted Jenny as she woke. She is in laying in a comfortable, albeit a bit smelly, bed in someone else's apartment. The sun has fallen and it's rather dim in the current room. Whoever's apartment you are in isn't currently sleeping in the bed next to you, and it doesn't feel like they slept with you at any time. Jenny still has all her clothes nearby and is wearing a different bra than she was earlier today. The door to the room Jenny is in is open and she can see out into the hallway slightly. Most of the lights in the apartment are off and you can't hear anything out of the ordinary. Whether or not Jenny wants to be heard is up to her, but it is likely that whoever lives here might hear here if she is careful.

Leonardo “Vergogna” Cont.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

It didn't take long for Leo to drift off to sleep. A long night at the docs and an extended stay at the bar had tired him out quite a bit. Leo and his couch were quite acquainted, many days of heaving drinking and exhaustion have occasionally made the trip to the bedroom an impossible journey. Today Leo has scooped up a drunken country girl and struggled with her beast of a GT on the crowded Boston streets. Leo was still sleeping silently on the couch, hand tucked down into the cushion where his pistol was hidden. So far nothing has stirred him awake.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Since Leo already worked a full day at around 12am this morning I am going to rule that he is still asleep. I am going to give Jenny a chance to take one turn before Leo wakes up. It is probably 8pm right now.

"Well you would have to submit a formal request for allocation of funding to be approved by the big house but with the recent donation, I do believe it would be a possibility. You could get the girls dolled up and take everyone down to an art gallery, that might kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Or you could always take Jake to the gallery on your own time if you feel he has some real potential. I trust you Cynthia so do what you feel is right, but make sure to do it by the book." Said Jaqueline with a pleasant smile. She was being sincere and rather patient today, it seems that your visit may have brightened her mood even further. You could collect any necessary paperwork downstairs if you wished to submit a request for funds. It is also nearing dinner time, so Cynthia might want to get everyone ready to eat.

"Son of a shit snacking whore," Jenny muttered softly to her self, groaning as she took stock of the situation.

Twisting off the bed she quickly snatched up her clothes and pulled them on, thankful for the distinction between naked and almost naked. Her memories of the bar started to return and she guessed this meant she was in the drugy's place, which meant to it was time bail and right quick.

Keeping her boots off, she tip toed out, looking for the keys to the GT.

"Thanks Jacqueline. Tou've been an insight, as always," Cynthia said as she waved from the door on her way out and downstairs. There was indeed many ways to go about it, having makeup and art go hand in hand at the same time. However, She still felt that art wasn't just about pen and paper. There were other ways to be expressive... Her eyes shifted, now that she was back on the ground floor, towards the laundry room. Ah ha, there was an interesting idea!

She found the forms, and under the main topic of the forms, she scrawled "Faux Fashion Show" in her own somewhat elegant, loopy handwriting. She began to place down a rough idea of what it was supposed to be: a lesson for girls and boys alike to try and use some old clothing, and some sewing materials, to show their creativity. Combine that with make up lessons for the girls and a show for the younger children and staff alike would take place. Perhaps she could even get some of the staff interested to join in. She needed funds primarily for additions scraps of cloth, more sewing supplies, and some extra, in case some of the children required a prop of some sort.

After getting that one filled out, she noted that she would want to start in a week's time. That should give her enough time to 'work' and make sure she wasn't dipping her fingers too deeply into the funding. Aside from that, she also filled out a form noting that she wanted to take the children out to the local park this week, perhaps in three days time. She then went back up to Jacqueline, just to see if things were going to work out.

Jenny-Lee Pettimore Stealth Check: 4 Dice = 1 5 1 1 0 Succusses. Investigation (finding keys) 3 Dice: 9 10+ 9 3 3 Succusses
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Even bootless your steps are much heavier than you'd like them to be. You make your way out of the bedroom and down the hall, constantly keeping your eyes peeled for your precious keys. Though not entirely gracefully, you quickly spot your keys laying underneath a small coffee table next to the only couch in the apartment. Further inspection does show that presumably the person who brought you here and hopefully lives here, is currently on that couch. You could make a grab for your keys and bolt, or try to choke this weirdo out, or pretty much anything else you could think of. Your captor, or savior, is sitting mostly upright, facing the door, through the darkness you can see that he is breathing, but is otherwise completely still.

Leonardo “Vergogna” Cont. Perception Check: 4 Dice (-1 for exhaustion)= 8 4 4 1 Success
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You light sleep is interrupted by the soft pitter patter of bare feet. It takes a few steps to realise the sound is coming from outside your own head but when you do your eyes peel open slowly. The door to your apartment is still closed, gun still where it should be, and the lights are still off. Either Jenny is still here, or someone managed to break in and is currently sneaking around.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The forms take you a few minutes to fill out and make your way back upstair. Jacqueline is on the phone when you arrive and seems to be packing up. Her coat is half on and her papers are mostly off her desk. She notices you standing by the doorway and says "En seguida, buenas noches señor." She hangs up the phone and finishes putting on her coat as she waves you inside. "That was quick Cynthia, didn't really expect the forms till tomorrow. I am on my way out though... You know what? Its fine ,I'll sign off on them and you can leave them in my outbox, they'll get picked up first thing tomorrow morning and sent off up the ladder." She says as she swings her purse over her shoulder. Wherever she is going seems to be more important than the forms, either that or she trust you enough not to worry. After a few moments of searching around in her purse, she pulls out a pen and quickly signs the documents. "Good luck, with the proposal and with dinner, maybe it will be civil this evening." She says with a hopeful smile as she steps past you into the hallway.

Jenny paused and cursed under her breath each time the floorboards squeaked as she took a step. A smile briefly creased her face before it soured as she spotted her keys... and guy from the bar. She thought briefly about finding something heavy and belting him a few times but decided against it. He hadn't tried anything so she wouldn't, it was just time to get her keys and leave.

Dropping down to her knees, she crawled slowly on all fours to try and reach under the table to grab the keys.

Panic crawled up Leo's chest and he looks at the door desperately looking at the locks to see they're the way they're meant to be. Satisfied they are, Leo sighs audibly. "So I take it you don't want breakfast?" He turns lethargically and puts his gun on the table. "If you're still here, I'd like to talk to ya'. It's only right that you get to hear out what exactly happened last night."

Cynthia smiled as her plan was signed off on. She was pretty happy that things seemed to be going her way. But the conversation... it had tones she was somehow familiar with... but wasn't too sure about where she heard it. Where had she heard it? Never mind, she had work ahead of her. "Headed somewhere Jacqueline?" she asked as the woman left her office. After a moment, she left the forms in her outbox and headed out. She went back down and swung by the laundry room, just to check on the clothing. After making sure that it was fine, she decided to head to the pantry. Time to figure out what they had left in stock, and chase out any kids who were trying to snack before dinner.
