London November 2025

It was the end of days, people "predicted" the end for many years, but no one would have ever predicted it would have ended like this; their family members gnawing at their bones, loved ones rising from the morgue. Panic and horror gripped a nation as a motley military and police force try their best to fend off the truly endless horde of zeds. Just a year or two before humanity was enjoying a new golden age in genetics research with leaps and bounds in the pharmaceutics industry to provide most of the population with some sort of affordable MutaGins. There were of course the doubters and purists of the new drugs, but no one could argue with the results. By the end of 2019 80% of the population has used at least one MutaGin and all new borns were given a dose to get rid of any sort of genetic imperfections. Only the staunchest of naysayers or the poorest of the poor not partaking in the world's newest sensations.

It's four years to the start when the news first reported a strange phenomena occurring across the US, missing persons reports skyrocketed then weeks later reports of cannibalism, after that people claimed the dead were walking. Martial law and the full brunt of the US's military might was brought down on it's own citizens. When it was clear that they would not win this war the government employed slash and burn methods to cut off the dead's food supply. Whole tracts of land were bathed in flame, but that still didnt stop their advance. The US's most powerful went into hiding shortly there after, little did they know the rest of the western hemisphere was soon to be lost.

Weeks later and then months of desperate fighting much of Europe, the British Isles and even Iceland and it's big brother Greenland were gone. More and more places fell to the undead horde, now you're left alone except for a select who know more than they let on. You stand on the doorsteps of a ruined London, will you find salvation? Or will you join the ever growing numbers of Zeds who patrol the streets.

All Survivors:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Alright it's a nice gloomy day like any other but you've made it. Across from the country side your supplies else where have all but been depleted and it's time for a last ditch effort to survive the winter. This isnt your first rodeo of course, but big cities are always a pain in the ass. The amount of zeds that walk the streets is just innumerable and you'd have no way to cut them all down to make this place suitable for living any longer than a few months, but while you're here the first thing would be to find some sort of shelter maybe set up a safe house then move towards the city center where the hospitals and be supermarkets are. Once you've checked your gear, scouted the area and had a nice breakfast its time to get moving.

Researchers:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

A blow glow shines over the room as 4 cryotanks start to beep then suddenly burst open flooding the room with a low smoke. When you first come to you feel extremely groggy, but you know that waking up means that your team as been activated. Looks like your nap is done. When you sit up and brush the quickly melting frost off your face you spot two other women sitting up, the fourth tube seems to be empty, maybe your bosses couldnt afford the main power. An atomic clock on the wall says it's 5:32am. Procedure dictates that you head to your respective rooms and gear up then to check your phones for further instuction. Once all of your are geared up in your black tactical uniforms you all meet in the common room in the safe house which is nothing more than 4 walls a TV screen a couch and the kitchen with it's stocked fridge though there wasnt honestly much in it with maybe 2 weeks of food in it at most though you do have electricity and running water. (All researchers add sat phone to your inventories)

Deedra & Adrianna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The two of your are strapped up and ready to take on this god forsaken metropolis, knowing each other for the past year or so you've come to rely on one another Adrianna deals with stuff far away and Deedra usually handles the stuff that gets a bit too close. Both of you pull your own weight, but that hasnt stopped the occasional bicker. On Deedra map it says you guys are around Dulwich Village one of the many districts of London. The area has lots of parks, nice for an afternoon stroll you'd think. Suburban for the most part but theres plenty places of interest like the college south of where you currently are. Sitting in the shade of one of the trees is rather relaxing too, theres a cafe near by and it might be worth the look.

Emily:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You just finish up searching a restaurant in the Chelesa district. Funny name for the place too, "Big Easy" from the looks of it they were pretty fancy, serving lobsters and steaks, at least thats what the rotting menu says. Unfortunately that means there werent many nonperishable for you to loot, not even bottled water. Looking at your own map you see a few places you could probably hit up, like the hospital a bit west of you or if you head a bit south theres an old church a bit closer by, from your years of experience you know survivors used to congregate there before they were horribly killed

Aeryn:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Nice and quiet thats how you always used to do it, though somehow you've found yourself in Soho, with the various apartments and what not. You're actually pretty close to where you used to live, but zombies eventually broke in and you were forced to relocate you've spent the last 3 years more or less in this single district and you're pretty sure you've exhausted pretty much all of the resources in the near by apartments. You could give them a once over to make sure you havent missed anything but theres a low chance of that since the last three years you've barely moved an inch out of this district. Though you could try the University College of London a bit ways north of you.

Elaine:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You're not sure how but you're thankful nonetheless to have ended up at St.Katherine Docks, though not having any real knowledge of London you cant really pinpoint where in the world you are. It might be best to strap in and get a move on you see a road that forks letting you take either the north path or the south path.

Himeyoku:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Having exhausted all other options you've decided to break one of your biggest rules and head into the big city. You knew out in the countryside you could take on zombies who were on their own or sometimes in small groups so that you could have your fun with them if you won, but you told yourself to never too many, you shudder at the memory of the last time you were gang raped by 20 of the fuckers, maybe even get a bit wet at the thought though.. nonetheless you're here looking for supplies for the long haul and maybe you could have a bit of fun in the end. Looking at a few of the signs you judge that you're in the King's cross district in what looks like an old music shop called Purple turtle. Theres a few other shops laying about, you're honestly only in here to catch your breath after you had to beat the shit out of a few zombies. Across the street you see a restaurant called Lyttelton Arms, but you also hear a noise come from behind you in the shop's back room.

Jennifer:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The past 3 years have been fairly hellish, even though you could handle yourself in a fight and all, but there was something disconcerting about not having anyone to fall back on. The first year was the hardest though as you tried to eek out a meager living in Knightsbridge. After the first year you house lost electricity and clean running water and eventually you had to start raiding the other houses in the district get caught in a scuffle or two. You just finish up the last apartment you can think of looting and you've just come to the realization that...theres nothing left. You've got a couple weeks of food left, but other than that you've got nothing it might be time to leave the district and find more food supplies especially with winter coming.

Francesca:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You're catching your breath as you've just out ran a few zeds and leaped on to the nearby fire escapes and moved up towards the rooftop of one of a restaurant. You look over the city seeing ruined skyscrapers and burned buildings all around you. Your supplies are running a bit low and you're gonna need to find someplace to set up shop at least for the winter anyway. Theres a rooftop access door behind you, but looking over the edge you see that you pursuers have given up the chase and have moved on. You dont really know where you are, but at least you know you're in london.

Clare:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Putting on your gear you notice all the items you've requisitioned for are in the locker in your room as well as a fully functioning lab station with everything you'd need to perform tests and create MutaGins with even a still for brewing gin, your research notes sit neatly inside a 3 ring binder on the lab table. Once you're done gearing up you head into the common room.

Isabella:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Opening up the locker on the far side of your room you find the items you requisitioned and you even find your old car keys sitting at the top shelf of the locker. Looks like your bosses were benevolent enough to let you keep the car. There's also an extra door that says it leads to the garage, but has a note hanging on the door. "Use only if extremely necessary." -Z Once you're done suiting up you head into the common room

Connie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You open up the locker thats next to the work bench and in your room, seems they let you keep a few of your tools thankfully and plenty of duct tape to last a life time. All the items you requisitioned are in the locker and even the tazer with a note next too it saying "Use with caution" -Z, after making sure everything is in order you head to the common room.

Researchers B:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Once you're all in the common room it seems you all have a bit to converse before your handler sends you your first mission. Maybe cook up breakfast while you all wait and chat.

Frankie let out a sigh of relief when she seen the zeds following her had finally given up the chase, "Fuckin' zombies, man.." she mumbled to herself as she leaned over the edge of the roof of the restaurant to take in the sight of the once majestic city of London, or at least what was left of it as she started muttering to herself again at the sight, "och, well isn't that a braw view?" She felt a chill at her arms as the cold winter air was starting to move across the country and it only reminded her all the more of the need to establish a base of operations and gather much, much more supplies if she wanted to last for a 4th winter since being on her own in this hellish nightmare. Looking around Frankie noticed a rooftop access door to the restaurant she was standing on top of, maybe if she was lucky she could scavenge some more supplies, and if it wasn't to damaged she may have already found her new safehouse! "Aw'right c'mon noo ye' wee beauty..." Frankie said to the door as she Stepped upand gave it a quick tug to see if it was already open, if it wasn't she would use one of her few remaining lockpicks to try and gain entry.

Looking around the fast food restaurant she grumbles shifting through everything for something worthwhile to take. Shaking her head and wiping some grime from her face and then cleaning her hand on her trousers. Looking around her bat out and ready less she need it in a hurry she shakes her head and looks over her supplies. "Could use more medical supplies." She mumbles to herself before glancing around with a frown. "What day is it anyway? Monday or Tuesday? Yeah Monday I was living in the collapsed house so Tuesday." She smiles to herself and looks around with a frown. "Maybe I'll find something beyond bodies at the church. Don't wanna risk a hospital just yet." She smiles talking to herself, just the sound of a human not out to eat her was a small comfort in her isolation.

Sealing her backpack back up she lfits it onto her back and puts her fixes her pistol so she can grab it easily, lifting her bat she decides to head south and check out the church, hopefulyl to find more than dead people or ZEDs. Keeping a look out she decides to stick mainly to alleyways and B streets staying off of main roads so she can have a more safer journey.

Aeryn surveyed what the past 3 years had left her: Some food, a bit of clothing, dead electronics, a few tidbits of this and that, and a crossbow with a dwindling supply of ammunition.
She kept her head down for three whole years. And not a single living person in their right mind had come through this area.
She figured it was time to cut her losses and start anew elsewhere. Preferably with less Zeds.
She quietly headed up to the roof of the building she had called home for all this time.
It was time to plan her escape to the North.

Deedra let out a breath testing to see how cold it was at the moment. Winter was always a shitty time of year, made shittier by having to worry about making a fire in case raiders or zeds saw the light and got interested. The city was an awful place to be as well but with the fertile seasons over, it was the only place to really find food and equipment reliably. She cursed the weather and wondered why anyone would have bothered to make a city in a place like this if they didn't have all the modern conveniences. The herm checks the straps of her backpack again making sure it was secure and buckled to her before looking over to her partner. It had been a year now since they'd first met and they'd grown together even if they didn't always agree. Such was life though and right now life was hard.

She couldn't help but stare at Adrianna's tight fit ass for a while before shaking her head. Lately it had been hard to get her mind out of the gutter and hiding her endowment from her friend was becoming more of a problem when it was straining against her pants every so often. Still, Deedra was thankful for the woman's company. The first couple years of surviving had been an absolute terror and she'd never been good about approaching people even before they were likely to try to kill her for her stuff or to eat her flesh. Quietly she looks about the nice little suburban section of town before spotting the cafe. While she was certain they had food for more than a week, it was important to not waste what was available to them in case they weren't so lucky later on. She could check her map for a pharmacy later on to help get her and her friend some meds to help stave off infection and other nasty issues like headaches and injuries.

Patting Adrianna on the shoulder she spoke up softly, "Hey, Adri, lets see what might be left in the cafe. Hopefully some cans unopened and the like in the back. Maybe bottled water too. Would be useful to at least take a peak and then leave if it's not worth the risk." She says having trouble leaning closer to the toned woman's body, letting her large bosom brush up against Adrianna's left arm. "I'll move in first, you cover my back like usual, yeah?" With that she heads toward the front door of the cafe, metal bat in hand and tries to be sneaky about her approach, wanting to get a handle on what lay inside before charging in.

Elaine ended up at the docks, thankful that she at least she had water one one side of her, and if she had to, she could easily swim out to where she was safe. Heading out, Elaine picked the northern path and began a light jog up it, hoping to keep herself warmed up, ready to run at a moments notice.

Hime rises from her position on the floor and brushes the dust and dirt from her clothes. "Filthy..." The blood on her sleeve from the previously murdled zombie had already seeped in. "Wel, I guess the silver lining is that it's only blood this time...." The memory of the time she got passed around by a crowed of them really got her goat. How she managed to end up in such a position was beyond her. How she managed to escape is even more of a baffling situation. She sighs as she looks out the window. She notices a resturant right across the street, but she was really looking if the streets were clear or not. Then a sound came from behind her in the backroom of the building she was in. Deciding to check it out, she makes her way to th sound, making a point to stop at every door and entrance to check the corners and to make sure she wasn't walking into some kind of trap or group of zombies.

Jennifer started today like many days in her past; peanut butter, stale crackers, and filtered water. Though not the best meal she could muster the high protein and carb content is exactly what she needs prior to her workout. She used to wake up before dawn and get her morning cardio done, but since she lost power she has to rely on a more natural "alarm clock". On particularity cloudy days she tends to sleep in. After cardio she transitions into yoga for about half an hour to relax her muscles before strength training. Her after workout routine used to involve a nice tall glass of chocolate milk, a steamy shower, and a massage, from one of her father's eager little toys. Such luxuries have since faded and been replaced by a few less savory alternatives. She handles the massage herself, and after three years she's become quite good. In the place of her shower now lies a damp cloth and wash bucket, finding soap and shampoo is ironically easy considering the difficulty of finding clean water. But what she misses the most is that chocolate milk, she got away with a powdered milk substitute for a while but it's proven to be hard to come by. Once her post routine is complete Jennifer gets dressed, has some oatmeal, cereal, or equivalent snack-bar and sets about her business. Every day has a different plan, and today's is to get out of Knightsbridge.

She had been lucky to find a steady supply of non-perishable foods within Knightsbridge but everything nearby is just about cleared out. Without a map Jennifer starts planing her trip to central London via landmarks. First up is Buckingham Palace, barely a mile from her home. She could probably make it there in about eight minutes if she was really trying but she would rather take her time. After the palace she could make her way through Saint Jame's Park and then travel along the Thames until she made it to London Bridge. Or depending on the density of zombies in the area, she could head up through Green Park, hit up the Ritz, swing by Piccadilly Arcade, and peruse Soho. One option was definitely safer, and the other offers a much higher chance of finding food. Either way Buckingham is the first stop. Jennifer pulled back her hair, put on her running shoes, found a jumper and her bag, before exited her home, hopefully not for the last time.

Adrianna was shivering as they walked through the cold streets of London, her rifle hung over her shoulder as she walked in front of Dee, her eyes casting a watchful gaze on there surroundings. "You know, maybe we should raid a clothing store soon, I mean I love BDU's as much as the next person, but i'm gonna need some thicker clothing if I'm gonna live through this" she says with a laugh as they continue their little march. When she looks back to listen to Dee talk she rolls her eyes, inwardly laughing as she caught the girl once again staring at her ass. "Alright, sounds like a good plan, and remember, it is ok to run from the Zoms to bring them in my range. This isn't a Samurai duel to the death" She says with a smile as she unslings rifle. Inserting her clip into the gun with a satisfying click of metal she kneels down, aiming her scope at cafe windows as she adjusts the zoom. Taking her time to make adjustments she finally nods to Dee when she if finished. "Alright were good for a breach and clear. Store look empty from what i can see but be careful, don't know if there are any crawlers." After this she checks her surroundings again, focusing on any tall buildings and vantage points as she checked for enemy raiders.

Waking to the new world of the dead and the disease was as expected from any new cryogenic stasis chamber. Cold as fucking possible, Walking out to be rudely awakened by what you once thought was a nice warm sleep filled with the void of neither dreams nor nightmares. Only to be shocked back into the waking world by your sense. Stumbling out of her chamber to see the others handling the physical stress of the stasis chambers. Hating that fact that she had signed up for all of this bullshit. Not like there was much choice help save the world or die in the wake of an apocalypse. Shivering as she reaches for towels. Passing them around share with her colleagues. Taking notice of the clock she made sure everyone took notice that they were on the clock or so to speak attempting to make a clock Pun which could prove successful or not. After drying off she left the others to investigate her room and the equipment they had imparted to her.

Seeing her room was rather clean and spacious enough to allow for her to work was a welcoming change to having to work with other engineers who took her space... parts and other belongings. People usually were stupid, but she was sure her employers wouldn't situate people of stupidity within an important team such as this so they should be easy to get along with. Opening her locker she spreads out all her tools on her work bench sorting everything back in the tool box to her liking before looking through the rest of her belongings. Luckily she had spare cloths here. Always handy when working with dangerous mechanism. A crowbar the classic zombie killing weapon. Some scrap parts and a tazer. "Just want I wanted thanks Santa." She says jokingly to herself as she packs it in carefully. Taking note of four clips for the tazer. Inspecting the tazer clips she wondered if they were rechargeable. She was quite insistent on getting a rechargeable tazer. If they weren't she could always build one they weren't too hard to make just needed the parts. Speaking of parts she should probably check the teams weapons and gear. It would be useful to know if she could modify their weaponry or gear in some way.

Heading into the common room as she sees the others with her crowbar in hand. She uses her crowbar hand to wave. "Hey so other than a rude awakening I would say I'm happy that I don't have to deal with my asshole co-workers. Although can't say I like the idea sushi no longer exists." She said trying to trade what they like about this new experience and what they hate.

Oh for fuck sake, thought Isabella, not five minutes out of the pod and the Brit was already harping on about getting to work.

Snatching the towel she grumbled to herself as she walked down the corridor, stopping when she saw her name on a room. Her memory was a bit hazy on how they got here, but at least she remembered her name.

Opening her locker, she geared up efficiently, her muscle memory remembering the dreary and oft repeated practice of pulling on BDU's, armour and webbing. She smiled briefly as she saw her keys and old shotgun tucked away in the locker, but frowned at the lack of munitions. She'd need to check both car and weapon before they headed out, who knew how long they had been sitting.

Finishing off, she slapped the old, stained Australian flag patch on the front of her plate carrier and headed for the commons. Seeing no one else she checked the fridge, stomach already grumbling from the long sleep. Grabbing some powdered eggs from the pantry, she started the coffee brewing as she diced some other ingredients to throw into the hodgepodge she was making.

Looking up, she plated the mess and she listened to the Brit complaining again.

"Lucky you," She pushed a plate at the woman she walked past to slump across the couch, "Not having to deal with assholes anymore."

As the statis chamber opened and allowed her to exit, Clare more stumbled out them she did walk out, having to brace herself against the thing to keep on her feet as she felt like she got hit by a truck made out of snow. Rubbing the frost from her face, Clare takes a couple of breaths to try and warm up her lungs before saying "Finally. I was starting to wonder if I would get to go back to my research..."
With that, Clare shakily began walking down the corridors and looks for the room bearing her name, quickly stepping in and drying herself before getting all of her equipment sorted out, dressing herself and making sure her supplies are equipped before beginning to walk out, only stopping herself to pick up her notes along the way into the common room. When she was finally in it, she set her notes onto the couch before just reaching into the fridge and grabbing herself some water and a cereal bar, just wanting something in her stomach and something to hydrate herself with after just getting nutrients in the chamber for so long, sitting down on the couch and silently eating and drinking away, setting her notes on her lap to read while checking the phone to see what they have to do next, saying "While it is just wonderful to hear about how you have a dislike for past co-workers, I must say that it isn't exactly relevant to us now and it is better if we keep our minds on the task at hand."

And then there were two, thought Isabel as she grumbled to herself about having to change position on couch for the other woman.

Finishing her meal she left the dirty plate on the counter as she moved to leave.

"I'm going to check the perimeter, make sure we don't have any unwelcome house guests," She sighed, more to herself then to the scientists.

Returning to her room first, she checked her weapon and loaded the shells into the magazine before doing her check, just in case. Knowing the commons and her own room were secure she would start with the other two girls room, just in case before clearing the entire safehouse, checking all entrances.

"Right task at hand... We haven't been given out assignment yet so enjoy what you can. Besides getting past some small talk should be no big deal after all we are a team and I doubt we should start by disliking one another. Just saying if I had to be with anyone in this situation I want to be glad it's you two buuuuuut your seriously bringing down the mood." Most people that would survive after all had a zombie survival plan. Oh well... Grabbing what grub she could she ate whole heartedly knowing how much her body would be in need of sustenance since their awakening. Grabbing the dirty plate she made sure to have the dishes soak so they were easier to clean later. "If you find any useful scrap hand it off to me I may make something awesome from the junk."

He doesnt seem to have noticed you but having him around for too long will start to stress you out. You can just be on your way or even search the place if you stealthy enough. You could beat him up if you arent quick the noise my attract more zeds. For now though you're safe as he just stands there...groaning

You could sprint past them you're just a straight shot from the church and the only way from the zombies is back the way you came, though if you weren't carrying so much stuff you could probably climb the fire escape behind fast enough to get away from the zeds saftely, though that doesnt you cant try. You get a few blocks away from your old home when you see a condo that has a big red "Survivors Here!" on a white bedsheet hanging from the roof, blowing a bit gently in the wind. From your vantage point the door looks wide open, and if there were survivors there they might be able to help, if there werent...well they still might have their supplies. You could just skip it all together though and look for better pastures.

Deedra & Adrianna:

Deedra Stress: 99%/100% Adrianna HP 10/10 Stress 85%/100%
Deedra pulls out her map looking for a pharmacy and spots one two blocks to the north in a little corner store so it shouldnt be too hard to check out after you raid this little cafe. The two of you get into position, your standard stuff mostly as Deedra moves up to check out the cafe and Adrianna provides sniper cover though Adrianna rarely ever shot a zed as Deedra is usually more than careful when it comes to these things. You both wish you had a walkie-talkie to talk to each other in case something happened to either of you, but this is the best you can do for now. Deedra moves up as quickly as she could, but she does step on a few branches here and there, but thankfully doesnt attract any attention to herself. The cafe is in pretty good condition considering it's age, but that just means it'll have a high chance of loot! You get to work searching the place, opening cupboards and fridges and whatever else you could find after about 10 minutes of searching you find another weeks worth of food and water. While this happening though Adrianna is laying down in the grass, hoping her low profile will keep prying eyes away from her as she keeps an eye on her futa friend. Though she seems a little spaced out as she takes her eyes off the scope of her rifle to yawn then suddenly a weight crashes down on top of her. The low groan of a zed on top of her fills her eyes and before she could scream it covers her mouth. As you lay there you start to feel it's hard-on rub into your the clothed ass, but you get the feeling that if you dont do something he'll be more than happy to rut you, though a part of you has always imagined how it would feel to have sex with a zombie, you've definitely seen it happen once or twice over the years..and its even been the subject of a few fantasies..." (Deedra found 1x extra food and water 10/30 backpack slots used)

Elaine:

Stealth+4: Nat 1+4=5 Zed numbers(D4+1)5 Stress damage (d6-2):4
Elaine Stress 96%/100%
You trot up the street and you completely blank out forgetting to be stealthy and you run by a group of zombies without even realizing it. When you finally remember when you're in the middle of an apocalypse 5 zeds are on your tail. With your physique you could probably take them on..even in ways that doesnt involve killing them. You've had a run in with a zed before and the memory of you and him...going at it was rather fun.. but you shake your head you could keep running as well there was a fire escape that you could possibly jump to climb too, but do you really want to?

Himeyoku:

Encounter DC15:10 Luck:6 Stress Damage(d6-wis):3 Stress 97%/100% Stealth+dex:11+3 Encounter:14
You slowly open the door to the back room which isnt locked and as you're opening it a rat runs past your foot then you see a pile of fallen CDs. It was probably that stupid thing's fault. You sigh thinking about the waste of time this stupid rat made you feel. Well now its time to move on. You move out into the street remembering to keep to yourself as you sneak past the groups of waddling zeds, but you do reach the restaurant. The store front has large glass windows, but the door seems to be locked. You could break in or maybe look for a way into it from another way. A part of you wishes you had a few lockpicks though.

Jennifer:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Stealth+dex:5+4=9 Encounter+2=20 Zed numbers(d4+1):2 Stress damage (d6-wis): 3-2=1
Jennifer HP 12/12 Stress 99%/100%
You run up the street towards the palace, but maybe a bit to briskly as the noise your shoes make on the pavement attracts a pair of zombies. They lurch towards you with a dangerous look in their eye. You've had a run in with zeds before and sometimes they look more "friendly" than now, though it's only two of them so you could probably just beat the crap out of them or you could just out run them. A quick glance to your back though you do see a larger pack of zombies heading down the street, away from you though thankfully.

Connie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You give your tazer clips a thought and it's not that the clips arent rechargeable it's the fact that recoiling the tazer prongs is time consuming as well as the fact that they might break if you do it wrong. Though with your skills and knowledge you could probably make something in your free time to either quicken the process or improve the coils in someway. When everyone is in the common room you think of a few ways you can improve the equipment of your partners, but you know you dont have the necessary equipment at the moment to do anything, if you had some gun powder you could probably make some more ammo for Isabella's shotgun since you notice she's not carrying any extra magazines.

Isabella:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You do a quick sweep of the underground complex which frankly isnt too big, it's just big enough to serve it's purpose and thats: to house what looks like 4 members, the garage, a storage room, and a triage room. The garage itself isnt too big, maybe has a clearance of 8ft and only enough room for 2 cars at most. Inspecting your car though everything seems to be in good order. The engine is pristine albeit a bit dusty and theres a drum of gasoline that says "2 weeks worth" on it. Well at least they knew to keep the gas out of the car or else it would have gone bad, but that means you're gonna have to transfer the gas into your car and thats gonna be a bit time consuming without a proper pump. Nonetheless you head into the common room where you prepare a "decent" breakfast.

Researchers
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As the 3 of you enjoy your breakfast you all receive a beep all most all at the same time when the atomic clock on the wall strikes 6. Looking at it there is a message from, who you presume is your handler, Z. Two messages in fact. The first message is a mission statement:
"Hello faithful employees of Osiris Pharmaceuticals, today we invoke our right to activate our agents in our time of need. We have reason to believe that a new strain of the Zed virus has been spotted somewhere in London. It's been 5 years since the initial outbreak and 3 since the whole of the EU has lost it's war against the virus, despite that zed numbers continue to grow. Now Zeds breeding with women isnt anything new, but women have never been impregnated by one. We want you to find out if this rumor is true, now that doesnt mean let yourself get raped by them, but get a sample of their semen and test it for fertility. The team's scientist will find that the lab has come stocked with frozen eggs just for testing. Be on the look out for any other mutations if you can, if identify any new mutations and find a way to make newer and better MutaGins then you'll be rewarded handsomely. We're still a global power despite the world not running any longer. Completing your missions will allow us to dispense more resources to you, but you do have much to prove.
The second message is another mission statement:
Now this isnt as important as searching for Zed mutations, but we'd like you to secure Buckingham Palace. The roof top has a helicopter pad and will make delivering supplies much easier. Now to survive out there you'll still need to scavenge but we can spare some food every now and then. If you dont secure the palace within the next week we'll have to resort to an air drop and at that point it'll be free game for anyone who happens to be in the area. If you secure the palace then we'll drop off more food and some other items to help you on your way. (Securing the palace consists of boarding up the windows/barricading off nonessential rooms of the first floor and killing all the zombies inside the palace)

As her foot hits the can she slumps, shaking her head she cringes as she hopes nothing heard it, each bounce making her wince and whimper before seeing the ZEDs come towards her, nearly letting out a cry of complaint as her stupid mistake and lack of fortune. "Why... why of all things a can... a tin can." She shakes her head and readies her bat, measuring up the distance between her the ZEDs and the church. there's only three but there's more, there is always more. and her fighting them is going to attach them. Sighing she tries to bolt it past the ZEDs her bat ready to swing at the first one to reach for her to help ease her passing by them and dash towards the church hoping to shut the door and leave them outside.

Aeryn wasn't so sure if the survivors around here were friendly or not, being alone for 3 years had screwed with her senses.
She wasn't sure whether or not there were any supplies left around here, so she'd probably move on, along the back alleys.
Perhaps she could head over towards the River. Zeds didn't always know how to swim, so maybe there was an uninhabitied Sandbar somewhere she could get to as a fortifiable base.

Excited to see the place was in such good repair and not seeing any zeds about despite the noise she'd made, Deedra goes about stuffing her pack with food and water. It was a great haul considering it was just a stop along the way toward a pharmacy two blocks up. She could feel herself getting a bit shaky after holding back around her friend every night lately and it made her a bit upset considering she didn't want to just up and push her down in a field after all they'd been through so far. It was really hard to bring up this sort of thing for the futa, she wasn't a good talker and she didn't want to fuck up and lose the mostly positive thing they had going together.

When she'd finished shoving water bottles, cans, and packages of non-perishables she looked around the kitchen of the little cafe and then went into the main room noticing that her friend in question hadn't come inside. "Adrianna?" She says in a loud whisper wondering if she was just searching through some place she hadn't already been to. She almost went over to checked the bathroom but decided against it since there was no reason for her friend to have gone in there with no working water. Moving over to the front door she'd look about to see if her friend was at least somewhere around and hadn't ditched her so readily. Seemed an awful strange time to choose to split up without a word but then Deedra had never been good at reading people either.

"Alright, this is the way I see it," Isabella grumbled, "In here its on you guys, I'm just the hired muscle right."

"But out there," She pointed to the darkness down the corridor, "Out in the badlands, you follow my lead, that's the only way I take you out. Now I suggest we kill two birds with one stone, any samples you need can be taken from the palace... but we 'aint doin' that with ten shells and some harsh language, so we're goin' to need some gear first."

"That's just my opinion of course, as I said, it's on you guys to make the call" She sighed as she slumped across the couch again, "Wake me when you need something hurt."

Closing her eyes but staying alert she contemplated what they would find inside the palace. Hell, she might finally be able to make Australia a republic.

Frankie descended the stairs quietly as she was rewarded with the view of a kitchen and restauraunt, "awww happy days man..." she whispered to herself, the thought of maybe being able to find some supplies boosting her morale quite a bit, however her excitement was short-lived as she heard a noise coming from the other side of the room. Seeing a Zed slowly standing up, thankfully not noticing her, Frankie thinks about just leaving the restaurant in favor of not getting into any trouble but the potential for food and extra supplies was too strong and she decides to search the place. However before she looks for supplies Frankie also realizes she can't just leave the zombie alive, the chance of it, possibly literally, biting her in the ass being far to high. She lets out a low sigh as she unsheaths her combat knife and quietly, she hoped, made her way towards the unaware groaning zombie, "Sorry mate but I cannae let ye' live...uh...sort of live.." she says under her breathe as she plans to try and stab it in the head, taking it out quietly in case there were more zeds around.
