"ATTEEEENTION! COMMANDER ON DECK!" The drill instructor screams over the sounds of the hangar deck. As you and the many platoons around you snap into attention. You and the various members of the Imperial Flight Academy's graduating class of 5419 have been specially selected to further a mission of the upnost importance. After assembling in the Hangar Bay at 0600 you and the others have been milling around, waiting for the commander to arrive. This commander now stood at the head of your congregation, raised above on a floating so that he could project his voice down.
"Welcome Cadets, before we continue let me be the first to congratulate you on your successful graduation from The Academy." The man says, much to the cheer of the ex-students. After waiting for the noise to quiet he continues "Now let us come to the real matter for which you have been assembled today. There is tap among the people that the Empire is collapsing, failing under its own weight and the war with outsiders. These rumors are true" The commander finishes, much to the shock of the student "But this is also why you are here today, because on your shoulders lies the last hope for this civilization. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to explore, in small 6 man teams aboard Federal Cruisers, a new home for the Empire. Each of your ships will be launched into unexplored sectors of deep space were you will locate planets with resources fit to sustain sentient life. I know each and every one of you will accept this mission because you are the best and brightest the empire has to offer. If you wish to deny this mission that is understandable and you may leave the hangar bay now, but, if you choose to accept, you will shortly be assigned a ship and mission details on your Wrist Mounted Database. And with that I wish you a Goodluck, and Godspeed". The commander finishes before walking off. As he leaves the room explodes into a flurry of activity, as ensigns everywhere either fight to leave or rush to their assigned ships. While the hangar buzzes with activity you a loud beep emanate from the computer attached to your wrist. Opening the computer shows a file download and instructions; telling you which ship you were to assigned to, the names and common files of your crew mates and captain, and any info on the ship itself. As you approach your ship you are slightly left in awe at the top of the line cruiser. The new silver and orange paint leaving a well loved shine. as you take in the vessel the main hatch on the side opens, and out steps a single human female. The woman, who you quickly realize to be your captain, stands before you as you assemble, looking each of you in the eye.
"Well Cadets, welcome aboard the IBC Peregrine. All of you know your mission so if you would, please came aboard and set up in your bunks. Each room houses two and genders will be separated. Take your time to explore the ship while you can, it is going to be your home for rest of your foreseeable life. My name is Captain Stromonov and should you need me I will be on bridge" With that the captain turns and heads back inside the ship, obviously not waiting for you.

Listening to the mission then the urgent charge of her fellow ex cadets rushing to leave or get to their assigned ships Lotus makes her way quite calmly to her ship. Using her armor to keep the world a step away from her. Seeing the list of her crew mates and her captain she quietly jots them to memory and notes it shouldn't be hard to figure most out but for the two Zoltans."Huh, that's simple enough." Shrugging a shoulder she stomps along towards her assigned ship and takes a gasp of surprise to see a cruiser. letting out a low whistle she steps up to the piece of engineering with a happy look on her face, though concealed by her helmet. Saluting her captain she nods obediently before casting a look around to her crew mates and quickly following after her onto the ship.
On board she looks around and quickly picks a room at random which ends up to be the first one on the left as you enter the stretch of hall they are at, She won't be having trouble of bunking with a guy anyway captains orders and all that, Dumping her gear in the room she looks around before scampering off to go to the cockpit.

When the little ceremony was done Geralt made his way towards his new ship, from the information he was given, the Peregrine. He notes how shiny a pretty the ship's outer hull is and can't help but grumble wishing it had been a matte black instead. He quickly glances over the list of crew and their basic information before moving to head up the entry ramp and listening to his new captain. Saluting her as she made herself known and keeping the salute up until she left the room. Moving back to being at ease he looks over at the bunk rooms and notices the other human female moving to take the first room on the left. Being a fellow of rather simple tastes he goes to take the first on the right and doom his fellow male, a crystal named Aron, to taking that bunk room with him. Simply placing his duffel bag down on the first bed he sees he moves back out and looks around before deciding it might be a good idea to take a look at what the ship has to offer on his way to the main weapons station.
The rockman gives a quiet wave to those he passes by doing his best to look jovial and friendly despite his unmoving features and rather imposing eight feet of height. His loud footsteps might seem quiet to him but the stone feet he lumbered forward with were not made for fast or quiet locomotion. His movements could be heard from a few rooms away wherever he walked.

Cinder stood to attention as the commander gave the final ceremony for the ex student, welcoming then as fully fledged cadets. She looked around excitedly with her featureless face, her green body occasionally pulsing with a happy yellow color as she felt proud at herself and all the other cadets for managing to pass out successfully. She hears a sound from her personal computer and looks through all the details of her assignment, taking a mental note of the ship's name she would be crewing Cinder as well as going through the files of the other cadets on the ship, finding mild surprise at there being another Zoltan on board with her! With the names of both ship and crew memorized Cinder sets off although her body starts pulsing with a light purple color, showing her wonder, as she gets closer to the ship. She looks around excitedly at the other cadets as they form up, already knowing them all by name but not taking the time just yet to talk to any of them as she excitedly boards the ship, giving her captain a salute as she practically runs past her.
Cinder comes to the dormitory area and notices the first two rooms have already been occupied and quickly hurries past them both, entering the second room on the left, she was excited to see which one of the other cadets she would be bunking with, but didn't want to wait around to find out. Only taking a second to throw her bags on one of the bunks Cinder quickly exits the bunk and heads straight for the ships shields to see exactly what she would be working with, her body pulsing her happy yellow again but brighter and more frequent due to how excited she was.

Áron pretty much soaked up every single bit of information thrown at him and calmly watches all of his former cadet comrades learn what their fates are going to be. He isn't too pleased at what he is getting himself into, seeing that out there comes with the dangers of electrical pulses and he grips onto his crystalline body, holding it close as he tries to calm himself.
Relax, that's what he should do. After all, he was trained to overcome these obstacles, and getting the information about his crew did put him in a better mood. With two Zoltans joining him on this expedition, female to boot, he can feel somewhat comfortable knowing that he has potential allies in protecting him from those nasty ion cannons. Once things wrapped up, Áron makes his way over to the ship he is assigned to and greet himself to not only the captain on this mission, but the rest of the crew. He gives a smile to all of them, saluting the captain much like the rest, only dropping on seeing the woman in the power suit. It's mostly out of curiosity, wondering just what lies underneath the suit, and if there's anything he'll do to get that thing open. If there's any of those Engi nanobots on board, chances are those things will be healing her which may leave him in the dark, but he'll find one way.
The crystal makes his way towards him room, passing on by the rockman on this mission and he waves him off before dropping off his stuff on his bunk. He is glad that he is taken this up, although his paranoia is creeping up on him again and making him shudder. A rather beautiful looking creature who appears as tough as the rockman, only to be fragile with one good strike. He wishes that he could be much like his hulking giant made of solid boulders, but something about his form feels almost right. Taking in a deep breath, Áron heads out of his room and starts exploring the ship, interested in seeing the medbay and checking up on what he needs to do to keep everyone alive when things in there go offline...

Anna stood quietly while the ceremony went on, and would be smiling through it if not for her featureless face. Her happy mood didn't change even as they were given the bad news, seeing this as the moment for which she had trained for anyway, so what was the point in freaking out? She was only doing as her hard work would dictated after all.
So, when the time for cowards to leave and the rest to do as they were trained to do, the Engi just calmly picked up her bag and looked at her watch, initially frowning at the fact that it could be so easily taken off and lost and thought to herself that when free time came around she would make it so the screen was in her wrist instead, but for now just followed the directions to her ship, looking over the files about the crew she would be meeting shortly and glad the diversity, along with her mood being raised further at seeing she would be sharing it with two Zoltans. Always nice to know that the people your own race have a good alliance with will be watching your back after all.
When she finally arrived at the entrance to the ship with the rest of her crew, she gave a salute as the captain came out, keeping her posture correct as everything was explained, before following after everyone else as introductions finished and they piled on, seeing everyone go into a room and while she was tempted to follow after the Zoltan, she decided that the two similar races would prefer if they were together, instead following after what going by the files she read was the human of the ship. She had to quickly side-step to avoid the girl charging straight after, with the Engi imagining that the girl must already be busy for that to happen, before placing her bag on her bed and heading for the engines, assuring herself she would unpack it later.

Tesla brightened as the crowd cheered during the ceremony. All of her training had been leading up to this day, the day she'll final became a crew member of a ship and explore the galaxy. Skipping to the ship she had been assigned to she couldn't help but dim at the colour. It was a plain silver paint, such a bland colour to some of the other ships. Why not a fiery red or a sunset orange? But she thought that could easily be fixed later with enough spamming of the captain's personnel email.
She gave her new captain a salute before making it into the ship. Her entire being brightened from excitement of being on real ship and not just some fake simulation. How she wondered about the planets they'll visit, the aliens they meet and... buttons! She had made it to the ships shields instead of finding the dormitory rooms, but she thought to hell with it and began to look at what type of shielding the ship was running. A moment later another Zoltan entered the room, glowing a happy yellow. "Oh hey! You must be one of my fellow crewmates. I'm Tesla, but you can call me Tesla, what's your name?"

Cinder had started to pulse with a faint red color of annoyance as she ran through the new ship, getting lost more than once as she tried to find the ships shield control room, it was only when she looked back at her wrist computer that she realized there was blueprints of the ship on there causing her to go back to her yellow pulsing as she excitedly made her way to her initial destination.
As she enters the room looking about excitedly she suddenly freezes and pulses a light blue color in surprise at seeing someone else in the room with her, standing there for a second, looking the other Zoltan over before pulsing bright yellow again and walking over to her quickly, one of her hands outstretched, "Hi Tesla! I'm Cinder! it's great to meet the other Zoltan on the ship! Are you going to be working in the shields with me? Happy excitement showing in the voice emanating from her featureless face as she goes to shake the other cadets hand.

Four large circular disks sit in the center of the room upon the floor while you move through the straight walkway beside them. Only dim running lights illuminate your path forward to the sensor station. Inside this cozy room your find a duty station filled with numerous screens and buttons along with plenty of devices designed to allow different forms of ship to ship communication. Taking the door on your left labeled "Engine Room" you find what you were looking for. The engines aren't readily visible from here as this section of the ship merely controls their function instead of actually serving to house the massive boosters and rockets. You find your duty station with a screen filled with data about the potential and optimal performance of the engines and allowing input to keep them running as they're meant to.

Looking around the bridge Lotus quickly works on finding the work station that she can pilot the ship from and goes about looking over the controls and seeing which button does what and what not to press in case she kills both herself and everyone else in the ship. "Neat. Should go see how my bunk mate is doing, can't mess around here til the cap is ready to leave the dock." Shrugging Lotus moves away from the station and heads off to find Anna she thinks the engi's name was. That was right until the call went out to head to the medbay. Well her bunk mate will be there anyway so lotus briskly makes her way there, humming to herself before arriving and saluting the captain.

Anna walks happily along as she finds the empty room to not be a big deal, knowing that classic federation vessels and many other ships for that matter tend to have free space to allow for certain events to be accounted for, incase there is ever a need for such space. As she takes the route through the stealth generator, the Engi would smile if she could as she looked upon the new piece of equipment, seeing that the equipment wasn't even unpacked completely yet, which the Engi decided would not be top priority, but would certainly be done at some point. Made it easier to get past if and when problems stared to occur.
She hurries through the room at that point to get to the engines, with Anna quickly looking at the controls to make sure that everything is running correctly, before the intercom turns on and tells her the message, causing the Engi to decide that there would be time for making sure it was all optimal as she took a different route to get to the Medway, wanting to see more of the ship as she went went and giving the captain a salute when she arrives in the room with everyone else.

Geralt was in luck, not only was his intended duty station free of other interested parties but it was very close to the bunks should he ever need to get moving right after waking. He was even more so he was fortunate that when he was summoned to the medbay that he was only a couple of rooms away. Speed was not his forte and even with how close he'd been to the room he watched the Engi crewman outpace him. As he entered the medbay behind the small cyborg his lumbering footsteps slowed even further as he nods to each of his fellows already gathered before standing to attention in front of his Captain and awaiting instruction. He was usually rather talkative but he hadn't managed to get a read on his new comrades and decided to err on the side of caution for now.

Cinder looks about the room as she excitedly shakes Tesla's hand, she sees the maintenance area and the repair kits on the wall but more importantly she sees the duty station where she would be spending most of her time on the ship. She started pulsing like a strobe light as she walked closer to the console, temporarily forgetting about Tesla as her excitement reached new heights. As cinder got close to the console she felt the energy in her body reaching out to the electronics around her, causing some of the dials on the duty station to light up with energy. "this. Is. AWESOME." Cinder squeals, using every fiber in her body to stop her jumping about in excitement in front of the other Zoltan, however just as she's about to start fiddling with the dials and buttons on the console the intercom crackles to life with the voice of the ships captain telling the crew to meet her in the medbay for role assignment, "awww man, guess ill have to get a look at this later huh? You wana come for the walk Tesla?" Not wanting to be late she walks off, not checking if Tesla had followed her or not.
As she's walking to the medbay her pulsing begins to slow down, letting her body return to her natural green color, once she arrives she sees three other crew had already arrived, the human she had ran past earlier as well as the engi and a rockman she had read the profiles of before getting on the ship. Walking over to an open space between the rockman and the wall, Cinder stood to attention and waited for the captain to begin her role assignment, but not before whispering to the rockman beside her "Psssst, mr rocky, hi there, I'm Cinder! Its..." pausing fir a second as she tries to remember what she had read,"...Geralt, right? her plasma body starting to pulse slowly with her happy yellow again.

The Crystal got to his new station, knowing that while there are the machines here that leaves him out of the healing process, but he does need to keep an eye on things to make sure things are in working order. After all, there are those hackers that will attack and possibly shut things down, although he should be in the clear if they go for other parts of the ships, but then there are the other dangers from other weapons and the various conditions happening out in the vacuum called space. The fact that he is serving as the last line of defense, casing the room in crystal and protecting them to then push them out into the fight is probably going to be the saving grave for everyone. He hopes so, but he could be wrong. Hearing the girls right behind him, Áron grip himself closer as he notes of every bit of equipment around him before sitting down at the desk.
In minutes, the doors open up and people stroll on in to talk about their positions. Seeing that he was already in the room he wants to work in, he leans back on the desk and watches it fill up, while saluting to his captain. He shudders as the Zoltons enter the room, trying to avoid contact with them and focus on what they are going to do. Áron crosses himself, his eyes locked on his captain and zoning out anyone that is trying to start a conversation with him.

Tesla frantically shook her fellow Zoltan's hand. "I would love to work the shields with you and press all of the button. Oh we should bunk together, it'll be like having a sister but not really, but it will be like it." She said, not knowing when to really such up. Luckily the pair of them got a message to go to the medical bay. She walked with Cinder, her blue glowing body pulsing happily as they entered the elevator. Oh how she wanted to press all of the buttons.
Entering the room Tesla found herself facing her Crystal crewman. "Oh hey there." She beamed, moving close to him. "I'm Tesla what's your name. No wait don't tell me it's something like shinny? Maybe jewel? No... hmmmm." She rocked her head as she played her one sided guessing game. "Ok I give up, just tell me!"

The crystal jumped slightly from his seat when he heard someone talking to him, only to realize it was one of the Zoltans. He is slightly confused since both look identical, but he can see which one is which from their colors. However, that doesn't help with him clinging to his person, nervous that he is talking to someone that can knock him out with one wrong move. Along with her randomly spouting names, none of which sound close to what his species is known for, and her rather cheerful mood, which does put a rather awkward smile on his face, it's not helping him with how off-put he is being this close to her, even inching back as she gets closer to him.
"... Á... Á-Áron..." he answered, studdering the words out as he looks at the blue woman. "None of w-w-what you said... was even c-close. Please... c-can I have s-space?"

Geralt looked over his shoulder at the Zoltan that had addressed him and would have raised an eyebrow at her if he had them. "Yes, my name is Geralt. Good to meet you, Cinder. I look forward to working with you." He eyed her with a sidelong glance wondering just why a ball of energy needed to have a feminine form and as to why both her and the other Zoltan seemed intent on calling the only male crewman names. Perhaps this was their special brand of hazing? Whatever the reason, he wasn't going to respond with anything other than kindness. Best case, they were just awkward about meeting new species, and at the worst case, he had no intention of stopping to their level.

As Aron examined the med bay, he heard the captains message in the PA system and a few seconds later the captain enters the room, moving in stiff motions as she nods to the Private. "Relax Private Aron, there is no need for excessive formality." She says with a smile as she waits for the others to arrive. As they both wait Aron notices the kept constantly staring at his body and examining him, like a tiger observing there prey. This action is quickly interrupted by the arrival of the other crew members and there small chatter. Waiting awhile for the small talk to due down the captain raises her hand for silence.
"Hello Privates, I hope you have all taken this time to explore the ship and meet each other before we take off. Now before I assign stations let is be said that the people standing next to you today are your new family. You will live with them and you will die with them. You will fight them but also love them. While I do expect fraternization among the ranks, it will not escalate to any unsavory behavior. Everyone here knows the mission and you had your chance to leave. Now with that being said we will assign stations. Our Pilot will be Lotus; I want Geralt on the weapons systems, and Tesla, you will main the secondary cannon. Working the shields will be Cinder, and finally I will leave the engines system to Anna. Aron you will be security and boarding party, so you main station will be the security camera and teleporter. If any of you have an issue with your stations please see me in private. Please take the remaining time to prepare yourselves, we lift off in 30." With that the Captain leaves and presumably head up to the cockpit to perform her duties.
As you all talk and mill about you can hear the faint sounds of other ships powering up around you, there own engines charging and systems booting up. This peace is temporary though, as a mere moments later the whole station and rocks, sending some of you to your knees. Alarms blare and ring around you as another quake strikes, this ship shaking with its power. With a sense of urgency the captains force picks up on the PA again "Haul ass crew! Were under attacking and need to leave now!"

Lotus stood at attention as the captain gave her speech even if she did think she barely had time to view the controls before being summoned here. Ah the new family speech. A good one if a little used. My training squad was my family, my adoption home was my new family, so many new families so many birthdays, good job they don't count like that or I'd be doomed. Shaking her head she returns her attention back to the woman in charge. Hearing her position she smiles inwardly and does a little dance inside of her mind which unfortunately for her leaks out to a little slight, subtle bob of her hips and head. Looking over her other crew mates she looks over at the engi and smiles behind the helm. Seems they'll be working together to fly the ship. Saluting the captain as she departs for the cockpit. "Great she's going to be looking over me the entire time." Shaking her head she looks around at the various people. "Which one is Tesla and which one is CInder?" She asks the pair of lightning girls.
Not really noticing the quiet sound of other ships powering up and coming to laugh before she's sent flying onto her back as she loses her foot. "Woah!" crashing onto the metal floor she groans and drags herself to her feet. "Ow... Okay What the-" hearing the captain she looks around and and rushes off to the cockpit remembering she's the pilot and they need her to fly the thing. "I'll catch up with you guys later!" She yells behind as she flees. Thundering down the hall through the multiple doors impatiently jumping through the doors before they have time to fully open she lands with a smack into the pilot's chair and begins powering everything up. Pressing the buttons that will be key to her looking like she does anything on this ship while in the pilot chair. Right next to each other and look like they power things up on her end. Pulling the controls she begins trying to fly the ship directly out of the station because being caught at dock is a fine way to get blown up and she really doesn't have the time to make an air tight suit made of Geralt to survive the void of space.

Listening to his captain's words, Geralt has a hard time not staring at the woman's imposing cleavage as she goes on about duty stations and fraternization. When she leaves he can't help but wonder what sort of back augments she must have to support those massive jugs that could probably bludgeon a man to death. He turns to look at his new Zoltan friend. "So, miss Cinder. I think the two of us could benefit from speaking on our hobbies and interests. I myself am a large fan of playing cards. Sadly playing takes more than one person so I was curious if-" His words are cut off as the ship rocks and shakes. Thanks to his wide and rock sturdy feet he doesn't go down and in fact grabs the green Zoltan holding her to him until the rumbling stops. Looking at her he begins to ask if she's alright before the PA system blares to life and he gives a nod. "Very well crew, best of luck!" He lets go of the smaller alien and then stomps off as fast as he can to the weapons to start charging their full assortment of offensive options as long as they had power enough to do so.
