(Bluff Roll (whether notices you're dodging the question) - 4 vs. Sense motive 14)

Edric laughs, "Of course, I realize this. We know very little about the outside world, even less about Elves, and next to nothing about the Northern Kings and their constant state of war."

He begins planting gentle, sensual kisses up and down your body as he speaks.

"I understand... it may be difficult... my love... but you will stand with me... against your King?"

His hands slide down your body until his fingers find your clit and he begins to rub it, not really making this a fair question.

Cassandra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Reneis laughs, "Wouldn't that be great. A booty call in the middle of a war zone... Haha."

She looks into your eyes, realizing you were serious, and her face gets a bit more tender.

"I doubt we'll be able to do that. I'm afraid this might be the last night we ever see each other, dear. Things just don't work out like this... I could die at war, you could die abroad, or we could both fall to a bandit's blade. Life is short, miserable, with a few highlights. I do not believe in happy endings, but I fight for the people who do."

Leslina
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you pull out his cock, he continues to play with your holes while kissing your neck and occasionally locking lips with you again. When you part his robes to find his small clothes, you slide them to the side to find a sizable member, though not as large as Tamara's, Ashlin's, or Reneis. The paladin women certainly had packed quite the whoppers.

If your eyes flash any bit of disappointment at his fully hard 9 inch member, he doesn't notice, but he seems to have something in mind.

He breaks off the kissing and takes a step back. He chants and casts some kind of spell.

(Spellcraft - 10)

You don't recognize the spell, but you see his cock get bigger... and bigger... until it's nearly two feet long and thick as your arm. You can hardly believe it, as the tip of the member touches the bottoms of your clothed breasts.

"Is this to your liking, Miss Brighteye?"

"I.." A solem look comes across the thief's face. She knew her mistress's words were true and this will be the last night. Taking the time she nuzzles up against the woman she geninuely loves. "Then fight strong mistress, I happen to be one of those believers and my happy ending includes you." Cass gets close enough that her lips touch Renesis's neck and she slowly closes her eyes, exhausted from the day's events.

Hearing him she smiles and hugs him close to her body, soft sighs emanating from her lips before she slowly begins to start nodding at him. "Yes, yes I would Eldric." she states softly, though it does carry confliction with what he proposes she does seem truthful and honest with her answer before gasping softly. "Gods you're incorrigible." she grins and pulls him into a kiss, pressing herself firmly against him and his wonderful fingers.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Elzer smiles at your comment and says, "I'll do my best."

Once he finishes stoking the hearth fire, Elzer takes a seat next to you. The sounds and smells of Dunor cooking in the kitchen reaches the common room and it actually smells pretty good. Elzer puts his arm around you on the sofa and leans in to kiss your cheek very gently. He whispers into your ear, "You are very beautiful. You're welcome to stay here tonight if you like."

His other hand is on your leg and he softly strokes up and down your thigh. There was little doubt what he wanted, perhaps Dunor had similar intentions, but they were certainly nice men and they certainly were attractive. You could tell they were well-built from squiring, despite somewhat baggy clothing.

Sae enjoys the warmth coming from the fire, as well as the food smell coming from the kitchen, relaxing at the comfortable mood... until she's startled by Elzer. Not exactly startled, as her body just stiffened for a second, but her mind is definitely surprised by his actions, starting from his arm going around her to the kiss on the cheek, which together with the compliment makes her slightly blush.

The offer to stay the night is definitely interesting as she wouldn't have to spend any time searching for an inn nor any money to pay for the night, but the hand brought on her thigh makes her wonder if it really is a good idea.

Squirming a bit in her seat as she doesn't have any real experience with such things – the encounter with the orcs and similar happening don't really count as they are risks related to the job – she ponders about what to do.

Freeloading a night here would logically be good, as in such a mansion the room she'll sleep in is bound to be better than that of an inn, and moreover she'll keep the money from the payment of the room... but then again, they're probably interested in her body, and she doesn't really feel like throwing away her chastity with someone she just met.

Unsure on how to proceed, her hand is placed on Elzer's stroking hand, stopping it while she spoke <I'd love to accept your offer, but...> she doesn't know how to continue. Sure, with his gesture he might have implied he wanted to “eat” her, but he never directly said so, nor he was pushy about it.

But then again, as the present situation, accepting the offer yet refusing the advances didn't feel right... <...i'm not sure it's proper for an unmarried maiden to spend the night at a man's house> in the end she decided to go for the proper, chaste and naïve girl. Not that it was far off from the truth, as she was effectively still a virgin with no experience in such acts.

Eliandra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

It has been only about two weeks since you swore to save the Vaalniyan Elves, and by proxy save the surrounding countries, from an unparalleled Orc Horde by serving an Envoy who's purpose was to bring allies and other countries to defend the Elven woodlands. A lot has happened in that week.

Most of your envoy has abandoned the quest or otherwise departed the city. In the mean time, you have seemingly secured the help of Iometolis by getting close with King Edric, a golden-haired gloryhound barely old enough to be an adult. His ambitions certainly don't seem fully selfless, but he does seem to be true in his intent to defeat the Orcs rampaging through the central woodlands of the continent.

Following the defeat of his only political rival, Arch Bishop Frederick, and the gutting of nobility he deemed 'disloyal,' he seems to have complete control. The paladins of Iometolis are now involved in their own civil war as loyalty to Goddess and loyalty to monarch is tested.

As things stand now, the King has vowed his military assistance, but it may be a long time coming if civil issues aren't resolved quickly. You're free to depart for another area of the world, or you may continue to assist the King.

You awaken to the chirping of birds, a familiar feeling now since the King often opens the balcony doors at dawn. You slowly open your eyes and the feeling of the warm blankets and silk sheets remind you of where you are in an instant. You look around and see the stone bed chamber of King Edric. Accompanying the birds, you hear the sound of Edric hitting a practice dummy in the garden. From here, you can observe him through the windows. Wearing nothing but a loincloth, he sweats and grunts as he swings a shoddy practice sword at the dummy made of sandbags and wood.

You idly wonder about the future of the Elven envoy, but you recall a message sent to you yesterday. Arch Mage Vorn had promised more would be joining you soon; they may already be in the city, then there'd only be the question of what to do next.

Saskia, Bell, Ezra, Lenna, Rilienne
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Woodlands are under siege. Vaalniya has been the pre-eminent power in the world for centuries. The High Elves have often ruled with a policy of isolation and only opening borders for trade. This lack of diplomatic pandering has finally come back to them. A horde of Orcs unlike anything seen before has destroyed most of their army in a few successive battles that ended in slaughter. Elven women are being taken forcefully, and being bred, somehow producing fully grown Orc off-spring within weeks, making the Orc's numbers grow vastly the more slaves they acquire. Some rumors even suggest many Elven women 'prefer' their station as 'breeding stock.'

Now with only wizards and a weak army to defend their capitol, Vaalniya has deployed an envoy whose sole goal is to acquire aid from across the world in any way possible. You five have been chosen for that envoy, and for one reason or another, you've decided to help Vaalniya. The Arch Mages have promised riches, power, and glory to all those who join this envoy. Who were you to turn down such an offer?

Following a briefing of the situation, you were telepoted to the southern city of Iometolis, to meet up with the last remaining member of the envoy, a warrior named Eliandra. The only information you have is that she's near securing an alliance with Iometolis' King Edric, and that she's currently staying at the castle.

In the early morning, you're teleported and with some nausea and a bright flash of light, your whole surroundings change.

Image

The smells of trees and nature is replaced by the smell of the ocean intermingled with sweat, dirt, and sewers. In front of you is a majestic coastal city, Iometolis, beset by civil conflict and growing religious turmoil, but reknowned for the paladins who protect the city (in addition to a regular army) and a massive food surplus that could alleviate growing starvation in Vaalniya. The kingdom may have other benefits not quite so obvious, but that's for you to determine as the Royal Envoy who's goal is to save Vaalniya and by proxy, the world from an Orc Empire.

Rilienne was surprised upon being teleported- and a bit disorientated, honestly. She'd never experienced teleportation magic in any way, so this was a first for her. And this was by far the farthest she'd ever travelled! Of course, she hadn't trail-blazed her way over, but ah well. It was an adventure regardless, being in a strange new city. A grin spread across the halfling's lips as she looked about, her eyes filled with wonderment. "Now this... This is a place I could get used to being in." She commented, once she'd fully recovered. Clicking her tongue, she already began walking- even without her companions, she'd be moving on. Sure, she had a job to do. She had to go to the castle with her new 'friends,' but what was a bit of wandering first?

"So! Meet up at the castle later, yeah?" She called back to them, heading off to the market first of all.

Rilienne
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Perception Total - 20)

You quickly depart your companions, indicating you'll meet at the Iometolis castle later. You pass by small crowds of people, all with different purposes at the entrance of the city. Wagons carrying, traders selling weapons, and warriors selling their services are all sights to see at the Southern gate of the coastal city.

Once through the entrance, you see mostly bronze and brass colored stone and buildings. Some of the structures look incredibly ancient and sit beside a clearly new wood and stone building. The history certainly appeared to have history. The occasional brick and mortar had an unrecognizable rune on it.

You decide to head for the market first and this being your first time here, you're unsure until you notice where a lot of the traders seemed to be going. You decide to follow them and after crossing bridge and another district of the city, you arrive at the Docks, which seems to be the largest market of Iometolis. Dozens of vendors are step on the streets and along the piers for the many sailors and city-dwellers. It's likely you'd be able to find any common item here, and possibly anything uncommon.

Of course, with such a bustling market, why wouldn't the bard take advantage of the opportunity? This place was amazing! There were so many people, and so many running around. Why not give them a little entertainment? Looking around, Rilienne cast a spell to herself- a little cantrip that her mentor had taught her, one to summon an instrument. A lute, specifically. She knew how to play many a stringed instrument, but a lute was common, and a tune on a lute was simple. If she could find a good spot, she'd sit herself down, tossing her hat to the ground to allow passer-bys to tip her.

And thus, she played. Earning a bit of extra cash would be nice, and perhaps she'd be able to catch some local gossip at the same time. Or, maybe, a fan or two.

Saskia nearly threw up from the teleportation, but she was herself thankfully, though she was surprised by the scenery, her eyes were filled with a warm orange from the sun and the salty seabreeze was intoxicating, very different from the clean forest air. One of the other members were already off doing something it'd be a good time to find out more information about the city and it's people, how good a man was this king and how would the nobles or religious church would feel. She wanted to move the noble quarter or find any information about the city's nobles.

The past few weeks had been hard on Bell. She had been traveling nearly nonstop, she was introduced to some Arch Mages, and got one hell of an express trip to wherever the hell they were now. The culture shock was being laid on thick, but what better sources than Arch Mages where there. If she really wanted to hit it big on the knowledge game, then being part of the envoy was worth it. The teleportation wasn't all that bad but it appeared to have shaken up Mosco and Kazan. Mosco was pretty easy to calm down, just a few soothing thoughts and a snack could usually do him in for a while. Kazan on the other hand doesn't respond well to calming energy. He usually takes out frustration through physical exertion, like running, or swimming, or breeding. She reached up and pulled both her hounds into a hug, "Lets go find you a bitch!" She announced excitedly scratching Kazan's belly, "Ohh you studs are going to have to share something eventually." She remarked giving Mosco an equally pleasant scratch.

She began walking away with her two studs in tow before she abruptly turned around. "Uhh manners are sort of a new thing for me but I'm pretty sure I'm to introduce myself ?" She stated quizzically. "I'm Bell, and this is Mosco, and this is Kazan." She told the other members of the group, placing a hand on each hound when appropriate. "I've also been told that it is polite to inform you that yes they do both bite, and uhh quite hard at that." She continued rubbing the back of her neck and giggling nervously. Mosco chimed in by bearing his teeth and growling slightly. Bell quickly attempted to hide the wolf's teeth with her tiny hands and gave the canine a kiss. "He's only joking... isn't that right Mosco?" She reassured, the wolf quickly hiding his teeth.

"Any of you know the city well? I'm thinking I'll head the the castle first and see to our task at hand. Then we can find you a couple of sluts, okay Kazan?" She concluded giving Kazan a few reassuring pats. She would wait a few minutes for the rest of the group to respond before heading off towards the castle.

If there were two things Ezra hated, they were getting up early and magic. So naturally she was less than thrilled when her new Elven employers woke her up at the crack of dawn to teleport her across the world but since this job was shaping up to be the biggest of her life, she was willing to put up with it this once. Diplomacy was hardly Ezra's strong suit, she would much rather be out there cracking orc skulls herself, but she would take what she could get in this case.

Once they've arrived in Iometolis a few members of the envoy went their own separate ways with only the Halfling Bell sticking around to introduce herself and her wolves. "Name's Ezra." Ezra introduces herself simply, head tilted slightly as she looks down at the strange girl who seems more interested in getting her pets laid than anything else. "I've never been this far south before so I don't know my way around... But I was planning to go to the castle first too, so I'll come with." She says, following after Bell towards the castle. Getting down to business so they get into action faster would be ideal, and Ezra was also curious about the famed paladins of Iometolis and if they were really as badass as people said.

Rilienne
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Perform total - 15)
You summon your instrument after finding a decent enough spot where people would see you, without being in someone's way, and spend a good portion of the day seated in the Docks. You play your instrument to the delight of people passing by. You quickly come to realize that most of this city is certainly Human and the few who weren't seemed to stick to this area. Occasionally, a few people do stop and listen to you for a prolonged amount of time before moving on, leaving a coin before leaving.

By the time sunset rolls around, you look down and find out you've made 10 silver pieces. It was an enjoyable performance, but certainly not your best.

You hear someone clapping and you look up to see a man in deep blue scholar's robes. He's bald and looks to be in his twenties. He has an extremely heavy and thick book hanging from a chain wrapped around his shoulder and hip. He drops the tenth silver piece into your hat and says, "Well played."

Saskia
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Gather information total - 9)

You decide to also quickly split off from the rest of your fellow envoy members and head into the city to ask information. The numerous crowds, the sights, and the smells all draw your attention to varying degrees. The brick and mortar was few and far between. Many structures were solid stone and looked ancient to boot. There was little to no green in the city, save for the occasional tree, and it was clearly a bustling trade center.

As you head in through the southern gate, you begin asking around. You quickly discover the people here aren't very friendly toward Elves. Hardly anyone is willing to say more than a few words to you, usually something akin to "Go away" or incoherent mumbling before brushing past you.

It takes you a few hours of wandering, but you accidentally stumble into the noble quarter, also called The Alabaster District. From here, it seems like people are a bit more polite, though the people you talk to are still quite reluctant to share views or rumors with you. You could spend more time asking around, or try something else altogether.

Ezra, Bell
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The two of you decide to head towards the castle. You find yourselves surrounded by bustling crowds and a variety of traders and merchants trying to get you to buy their wares. Anything common could likely be found here, as well as probably anything uncommon or even magical. Entering the southern gate, you find the entire city stretching out before you, and though your intention is to head to the castle, you're not quite sure where that is.

You can attempt to ask others around you (Diplomacy roll) or just attempt to locate it yourself (Perception), or perhaps you even have some knowledge of the city from before hand (Knowledge [Local]).

Bell certainly stands out as one of the few bringing animals into the city and also as a non-Human. Though to some she might appear to be a child, anyone looking closely enough tries not to stare too long. This city wasn't known for its diversity, only its religious devotion and prosperity.

Ezra might stand out a bit as well among the mostly modestly dressed crowds for showing so much skin and for bearing the gait and confidence of a warrior. Both her and Bell certainly draw eyes, perhaps for different, or the same, reasons simultaneously.

Saskia wandered around for a good time, but was quickly finding that her search was coming up short. She felt dejected at all of the people refusing to help her...these people werent nearly as nice as the elves from the village she used to visit. Ending up in the alabaster district didnt help much either as people kept dodging her and avoiding her questions, albeit in a polite way.

"Maybe the city has a bustling port?" She asked herself with a bit of a renewed optimism. Her thought process being that the sailors were more worldly and would be okay with helping an elf.

A good day, all in all! A grin rested on Rilienne's lips once she was finally finished playing, and the compliment from this robed man- no doubt a wizard, based on the book, only helped to fuel her good mood. "Thanks kindly, mister! I appreciate the coin. Just got here, still getting my bearings. Say, anything I should know about the city, while I'm here? Don't want to run into any trouble with the law, or any unsavoury folk, if you catch my meaning." She was putting on her charm as best she could, whilst collecting her payment and setting her hat back on her head. A few adjustments, and it was juuuust right.

She always loved this hat. Gave her the look of a swashbuckler, further aided by the rest of her gear. Of course, her stature didn't exactly make her imposing- if anything, she looked more adorable than anything else, even with her obvious curvature.

Lenna didn't care about the riches, power or glory. Both her desires were fulfilled by this quest, to help those in need and to defeat the Orcs. Still, being teleported was a little disorientating, leaving her to recollect her bearings for a few moments. It seemed like the other people in the envoy were already splitting up and heading their own ways. Lenna wasn't sure it was wise to split up so soon, but with them being in the city it wasn't likely anything bad would happen because of it. So, she simply looked around, still unsure whether or not to follow any of them until she decided to just head straight to the castle.

Ezra could feel the gazes of the locals on her but she didn't pay them much heed. Most people just seemed to be disapproving of her choice in clothing, hardly surprising since the people here are so religious, but still annoying. Fucking prudes. Either way, she's given a wider berth than most on the streets. Most wouldn't want to tangle with her, though anyone who did might actually be worth fighting. Now that was an exciting prospect!

Her goal was to make it to the castle of course, but a little detour for some morning exercise never hurt. She didn't know where the castle was, but the simplest way to find it would be to look for it. After all, the king's castle had to be a big building that would stand out right? With that in mind, Ezra wandered the streets of Iometolis in search of the castle while also keeping an eye out for any excitement she could get involved in.

Saskia
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Diplomacy total - 12)

You head toward the Docks and follow the largest crowds of people to get there. Traders, merchants, sailors, mercenaries, and most every other type of profession is in sight. You see dozens of vendors peddling wares to any who would pass. Things ranging from freshly cooked bread to steel armor was being brandied every which way to any who would dare glance a few seconds too long.

You ask around the docks and do indeed find a few helpful sailors. They seem to be returning to their ship as you catch them near one of the piers. You make casual conversation about the state of the city and the more senior of the bunch, a well-sculpted man with tan skin about middle-age for a human named Zek.

"Yeah, things have been a bit rough lately..."

He pulls out a chair for you and offers a seat at his table. The table was overlooking the ships and the docks themselves. This was just one of a few dozen tables that seemed to be available for public use, whether eating drinking or anything else. To your left and right are the other two sailors, both equally fit from the demanding and spartan life style.

Zek takes a puff of his cigar and says, "King's chasing out the church folk. There was blood in the streets, but it real quiet. Real controlled. Real suspicious. Nobody can find the bishop either, and clerics and paladins have gone missing. Several nobles houses burned down in a single night, families are missing. Most suspect the King, but not openly. Never openly. Not someone capable of that kind of murder."

Rilienne
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The bald man says, "There's always unsavory folk. Gangs in the Underbridge... probably want to avoid that place. There's some loose monsters in that area too. Guard always gets losses when they try to clean it up, so everyone's agreed to just live and let live."

He scratches his head as he looks you over, "Other than that, people aren't used to Halflings really... or anything not Human."

The baldy pauses for a moment and then says, "You aren't part of that Royal Envoy everyone's talking about, are you?"

Lenna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Perception total - 20)

You find your way in through the south gate, which is dotted by crowds including merchants, traders, soldiers, and even the occasional noble. You see naught but Humans in sight. It seems anything else was quite a rare case. You're a little bit behind a few of your companions, but you make up the time rather easily. You notice someone in the crowd who looks much finer dress and you assume he might lead you there. You follow him for a time across the entire city and end up in a much nicer looking district, apparently called "The Alabaster Distrct" if the sign was any indication.

From here, it's quite easy to find the castle, as it's the largest structure in sight on the western end of the city. You approach a huge structure with two layers of walls. As you approach the steel portcullis gate, you find guards on the outside who are quick to get your attention. They wear masterwork plate armor and carry glaives.

"Halt... Elf."

You notice a slight bit of disdain in his voice, which may or may not be expected.

"What is your business, here?"

Ezra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Perception total - 10)

You decide to find the castle the old fashioned way: by searching for it. You find your way on the northern side of the city, but still can't seem to locate it with stone walls separating each district. At this moment, you notice another member of your envoy, whom you only met once, but you recall her name is Lenna. You see her heading North-West through a place called "The Alabaster District." You figure that sounds like a rich area to you and you follow your Elven companion. Sure enough, a large castle comes into sight as soon as you enter the district.

It's not long before you reach the outer walls of what must be the only castle in the city and two guards halt both yours and Lenna's approach.

One of the two guards asks Lenna, "What is your business, here?" as you approach the scene.

Saskia looked around in awe of the bustling sea port, the market was everything compared to the little village market back home. She had a look of a doe caught in the sight of a hunter, docile and just overwhelmed by everything around her, but eventually she found a man willing to talk to her. The first human she had the joy of having a real conversation with. Though what she heard was appalling.

"What...blood in the streets? Ilomentis seems so peaceful, why would the king do such a thing?" Saskia wondered what could be happening and she knews full well that an envoy member is assisting him, this didnt seem right, one one should have to be controlled or murdered...
"Do you have anymore information? Any at all?" Saskia almost pleaded, what was happening if it really was the king's doing...well in her eyes something like that was not an ally in her eyes.

"Gotcha. Avoid the Underbridge whenever possible." Simple enough, really. Though, likely, this business would take her and her group down there at some point... Gangs, and robbers, and monsters, oh my. What a treat she was in for, what with her dinky little bow, a rusty old rapier, and a bull whip that she picked up more as a novelty than anything else. However, the man's question gave her pause for a brief spell. So it was a common rumour that there was a Royal Envoy that would be coming to the city... Interesting. The question was, why did he figure she was a part of it?

Probably due to the fact that she wasn't human. Barely anyone here was anything but human, it looked like. Or they were damned close enough to a human for her eyes not to pick up. Regardless, there was no need for guile with this man, it seemed. What was the worst that could happen, should he know? "And you've got that right. I'm Rilienne Hearthglow, part of the Royal Envoy. Not sure why they enlisted a minstrel, but... Ah well, who am I to question their decisions? Got a name of your own, mister?"

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Zek puffs his cigar and says, "Just rumors, y'see. No one can prove any of it. It is true clerics, paladins, and nobles have gone missing, after their estates were robbed and burned down. More or less, the only one to gain anything by it is the King, who was havin' a dispute with his god-father, the Arch-Bishop and that General who was found dead in his home... But."

He points his cigar at you, "You didn't hear that from me. I'll deny every word. Last thing I need is to be involved in stupid Iometolis politics."

The sailor to your right laughs and says, "Zek has a lot of crazy theories, the King's a nice guy after all. He gave all military members a pay raise recently. No dick King would do that."

Zek says, "The pretty Elf asked, so I answered."

The sailor to your left has been rather quiet and you only notice him once you feel his hand on your bare thigh. His eyes meet yours and he slowly traces a finger up and down your soft, inner thigh on your left leg, but the other two haven't seemed to notice.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The bald man does a slight bow, "Vander Gigas, wizard and ranking member of the Golemni Guild here in Iometolis. It's an honor to meet a traveler from so far. Northerners are basically unheard of around here."

It may be a surprise to hear there's a guild of mages in such a faith-centric city, but in the end, it was still a massive city and likely attracted Humans of all walks of life. It even attracted you, to a degree, and it might attract others if not for its wayward position on the tip of the continent near only Human-dominated lands.

He says, "An envoy member might find their time better spent in the castle... Much nicer than the docks. Then again, there's a lot of civil dispute at the moment, and a lot of disillusioned folks among the clergy."

Vander looks to his left and right before saying, "But, I really shouldn't speak on that subject anymore. Our guild has officially denounced any missing clerics as mere rumor."

You do notice that despite it being sunset, there was still a rather large number of people on the docks. In fact, you could swear certain places, such as the taverns, were getting even more people now.
