Subjugation RolePlay

Tribes Opening:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The combined might of the Tribes was.. Scatter, to say the least. In fact, you four were chosen as Leaders because your four tribes were instrumental in uniting the forces of the Tribes under.. Mostly one group. A collective made from every tribe that could be gathered, meaning a council of over 200 people leading it.. IT’s bound to have some dissent and some issues.
But that’s where the natural brutality comes in.. And where you four come in. You four have free reign to do whatever you feel would advance the goals of the Tribes in repelling the invaders.. Namely, collecting troops to aid you, heading into the field to attack raiding parties, or doing other, more covert missions to assist you. You may team up, or split up, as needed… So pick your poisons, and enjoy your fun.

As of current, you are inside the main base of operations of the Tribes at this point. A gigantic stone temple hidden behind a waterfall in the heart of the Jungle region of the Tribes land. Tribal camps are strewn about the massive halls and in the rooms that once held worshipful masses paying fealty to an old god.. But now, only cracked flagstones, faded murals, and empty halls remain. Its secluded nature allows you to conduct operations safely, while also trading any spare gold you find for new weapons.. Or perhaps secrets you could find.

While you wait for instructions from the council, as that would be the default thing you could do if nothing else came to mind, three people come up to your group. One is a middle aged, strong looking warrior with a history of battles told by the scars strewn on her body. In order to allow you to parse through a great assortment of tasks at a time, the Council has ordained that anyone wishing to seek your aid must present you a written description of the task… And you are free to punish those that fail to follow the rules.
However, your attention snaps back to the paper handed you by the warrior woman. Apparently, a pack of rare monsters is terrorizing local foraging grounds, making it difficult to gather food and supplies for the massive undertaking that is organizing this many people into a fighting force.
The second Request made by a shy little boy, seems simple on the surface, but piecing together a larger story from further questions makes it more complicated. A group of Imperial soldiers raided a village, and took most of the people there as captives. They’re most likely going to be interrogated for information.. But the biggest problem is there may not need to be an interrogation at all. A captive of the Tribal village, an old Imperial explorer, was also freed by the raiding party.. Should they get the chance to reveal any information, this headquarters may have to be moved, thereby requiring a new task of finding a new one.. And this one would be hard to replace.
The last is a simple request, one made by a hard eyed old woman. Hunt down a group of scavenging Imperials using the old woman’s home as a base, and prevent them from feeding the Imperial army.

Which task, or however many tasks you choose to take.. Is up to you.

Empire Opening:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

“... And that, is our OBJECTIVE.”
The loud voice brings you all to attention, as General Rozanne Meller looks you over. You four are the captains chosen? Her expression says that she’s not really impressed…
You’re currently in the command tent, set up at the exact center of the Imperial Camp. You’re currently settled in a large plains area, perfect for preventing Tribes sneak attacks during the day. That was taken into deep consideration after a very vicious raid forced a total camp relocation, and you’re all still unsure of how the camp was set up. Your move was very recent, after all.
“It looks like you didn’t pay very much attention, did you? … Fine, I can’t blame you. You’ve been over this.. How many times? Three times? Thee time’s we’ve had to break camp to prevent Tribesmen from murdering us in our sleep? Pft. Fine.. Alright, I’ll give you a much briefer summary. You have three objectives, all of you. One.”
General Meller slams her hand down on the map, finger stabbing towards the location the camp is currently settled at.
“Aid any and all preparations in making this place a more permanent foothold in the Tribes region. Be that gathering materials, culling raids, adding to our supplies, capturing locals… The lot. We’ll need plenty of hands to help us feed and house these soldiers, Captains. Don’t fail me…. Now. Second.”
The General points towards the best estimated location of the enemy headquarters.
“Find their headquarters. Secretly, if you can, we don’t want them moving and having to do this whole damn dance over again. These tribes are vicious.. But if we cut off the ones keeping them together, then we’ll be golden. They’ll fall on each other again, and we can fight them piecemeal instead of having to deal with all of these murderous savages at once! And.. Last!”
The General points towards your personal Assistants, four up and coming Lieutenants named Anne Fische, Morgan Liege, Zana Hutch, and Kelsa Tezzen. She doesn’t seem to be referring to just these soldiers, though, as she says, “Help your subordinates! You’re strong, powerful, but you can’t fight an army alone. At least, I don’t think you can. A lot of the grunt work and fighting is going to be done by the less prestiged soldiers, and the mere fact they’re doing it with so few complaints is a testament to their willpower, and their loyalty to the Empire! Don’t make their jobs harder! If they come to you for help, hear them out, and try to do what you can while completing your other tasks. Hell, maybe you’ll find helping them is the best way to proceed!”
With a small chuckle, the General stands and moves over to the Lieutenants. With a sudden motion, she pushes them towards you, and grins happily. “Pick your poison, Captains. One each, no sharing. These girls will help maintain your personal tents, will sleep in the same tent as you, and hopefully will help keep you up to date on the state of the camp. Their first task is to escort you around this place, to make sure you know where everything is and what everything does.. And namely, where you’ll find your quarters. They’ll also show you where to find Soldiers looking for aid. You’re dismissed, soldiers. Happy hunting!”
The General goes back to studying her map as the only other people in the room look at you expectantly… But you really doubt the General is going to let you interrogate them to find out more about them! you’ll have to rely on luck to choose one that suits you.. And maybe, if you don’t get along, you can trade?...
However, if you want jobs to do, you’ll have to hurry. There’s not much time left in the day, and you’ll need to do all of this if you don’t want an earful from the General.. Again.

Tena was kind of bored, truth be told. She usually kept busy by making medicines and cures out of the local plants and animals, but the invaders had sparked her interest in toxins and poisons.
And for those, they needed rarer, less common materials from animals and sometimes the monsters of the jungle.
So when she heard about rare animals rampaging around, she'd gone around to ask about what kind of creatures they were and if they had any type of interesting toxins she could experiment with.
If they did, then she'd have to look around for a hunting party to help her take the beast down.

Marian listened intently to the general as she explained their objectives, when the time came to choose the lieutenants however she decided she didn't need one. Granted she would most likely listen to their requests unless it jeopardized the good of the empire, and then she looked her other comrades over recognizing them. Recognizing that being the youngest here, her word would probably be the weakest, however she was going to do her best to aid the empire in whatever capacity she could. However considering the chewing out she might get if she didn't pick one, she decided to risk her luck and chose. . . Zana Hutch.

Naomi listened intently to the same explanation yet again, but the words were mostly just passing in one ear and out the other at this rate. She was willing to do whatever she had to do for the glory for the empire, but she was not happy to be frowned down upon, even by a superior. She was not some common recruit, and she sure as hell didn't fight like one. Regardless, she keeps her mouth shut, not wanting to argue this point, preferring for her actions to speak for her. She focuses on the lieutenants in front of her, eyes them quickly, then points to the one named Morgan. "You. You're with me now. I expect 120% out of you while under my command, got it?" Naomi addresses Morgan. "Now, let's not waste any time. What have you got for me?"

Delzia looked around at the headquarters before looking over the tasks. "Well moving a base of operations is dangerous and time consuming, if we need to move we'll be unable to assist anyone in the region and have to give it over to the empire. I'll pour my resources into preventing that. this place is hidden and easy to defend. We should not simply let it be taken away from us so easily." Look around as she pauses for any dispute she trails her hand over the curves of her body slowly as if teasing those around with obvious enjoyment. "where's the village and how many soldiers do we have to overcome to put this threat down?" her eyes showing her hatred and burning anger now.

Sinead gave a read over the letters each one sounding more and more out of her depth as she handed it along for the next person to read, waiting for them to finish before saying "So then, any of you have a particular preference? I would say that perhaps it would be better to split out efforts 1-2-1 in order of importance, since while each one is key, the first and third won't matter if we are found out. Might also be best if we have 12-18 hours for the first, 6-8 hours for the second, and 18-24 hours for the third for preparation, with me being very generous. Just the first two are very serious problems, and the third can give us a very good advantage."

Zereteisomou read the letters, he was interested in all of the requests, but he also agreed it would be a bit too dangerous to move the camp at this point. "I'd have to agree with the both of you, but once again, where are the village and Imperials and how many are there? As much as I'd love to charge in blind I'd like to have a good idea of the group we're fighting ahead of time." If he didn't get an answer he would walk out and ask other people, he wanted to know how outnumbered they would be and he preferred to have at least the basic information ahead of time.

Ophelia receives her orders with an eager air to her, the chance to directly hurt the tribes so seeming like a dream come true to her. Yes, she'd received these orders at least twice before but the the general idea of taking down her hatred enemies never gets old. She raises an eyebrow at the idea of picking up a lieutenant, but figures there must be a good reason for it. Maybe they want her to train a Juggernaut 1.5? Either way, while she was in la-la land, Zana and Morgan were chosen, so... "Kelsa, front and center! Your ass is mine until command feels I shouldn't own it anymore." She says as she picks out her lieutenant. "Have you anything for me or shall we begin team building exercises? I've heard naught of your prowess and want to know you'll be an OK solider!"

She eyes Zereteisomou with obvious hunger cupping one of her breasts fondling it passively in a wanton sexual display. "I agree." She purrs at him before turning to address everyone. "We should not be eager to charge in blind however if we can't get any information on their forces we will be forced to go in blind and find out first hand. This isn't a matter than can wait, the longer we delay the more time that empire rat has to divulge information of this place." She turns looking for dispute of her point.

He looks back over to Delzia, grinning at her display, "She is right, and if we manage to capture some we can get our own information, and maybe some pleasure along the way. But first and foremost is we need to act soon, I'm not sure about the rest of you but I'm ready to go as soon as we have information, or knowledge we have no information."

Used to being spoke down to, Roran waited out the general's fourth rundown of the objectives before he stood still attempting to draw as little attention as possible from his fellows. After they were allowed to choose their lieutenants he waited for the women to have their choices before moving to the remaining lieutenant Anne and nodding to her. "Looks like we'll be working together. Don't let it bother you too much. We'll be setting up a series of scout routes soon and mapping out the area properly so be ready to move."
He finished his commands with a bit of apprehension. It wasn't something he'd gotten used to yet, ordering women about. It generally wasn't something they were used to yet either. After his short explanation to Anne he turns and waits to make sure the General doesn't have further instruction for him.

Tribes:

Tena:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The woman who gave you the task of dealing with the rare monsters steps up and bows to you. She begins clarifying, and you wait and listen as she does so.
“The monsters are in a pack of.. 10, at our last count. They are a group of mixed origins, and formed together for mutual survival as far as we can tell. Some are poisonous, some are incredibly strong.. Their leader is cunning and clever, and an excellent scavenger, but lacks combat prowess. If you wanted, you could recruit some hunters from one of the Tribes camps to help you..”
She motions towards the many tents set up in the main hall here. You can see demons, tall warrior women, warrior men, hunters, archers.. Many types of people. You’d need to go and speak with them to gather soldiers to your cause, but with this many eager hands it shouldn’t be too hard to do that.

Delzia & Zereteisomou
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The young, excitable boy perks up as he’s questioned, and he starts speaking. “Well, We already got some other people to help! About 10 people, all fighters, who can help! We think there are 10 or 15 Imperials with the people who got taken away! P-please, can you help them?!”
It seems as though this is already well prepared. You may wish to gather more soldiers, but keep in mind that taking too many troops will leave tracks.. And those tracks will make it easier for the enemy to find your base anyways. Taking too alrge a force will invalidate the whole reason for doing this mission.

Sinead:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The rest of the group seems to ignore you. The old woman looks at you curiously, wondering whether you would be up to the task of dealing with a group of Imperial foragers alone..
If you don’t find anyone else to help you from the four Chosen Warriors, perhaps recruiting a force of underlings who could help you while you helped them would be best?

Imperials:

All Imperials:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

“Oh yes! Hold on, you girls.. And man. Something important to note.” The General stands up straight, stretching a little bit as she looks over your choices.. And grins maliciously at the Lieutenants. “Right now, you four Captains are our best shot at winning this fight with the fewest casualties and the most land gained. As such, we’ve chosen your potential assistants rather carefully… They’re all very skilled, and have potential in all types of magic. These are VERY rare and precious talents, Captains. I hope you use them well..”
The General moves over and lays a hand on two of the their shoulders, them being Kelsa and Morgan. Kelsa looks calm, but a little embarrassed, while Morgan seems to be loving the praise..
“Because of these talents, these girls are VERY flexible. Should you need a healing companion, a support, another Heavy or Light fighter, you may use them for that! Just set them up with the proper gear in the Armory tents, and then work with them on their skills. Pick things that complement your fighting style, and if you come up with something novel you should be able to pull it off. I have faith in you all. Now, dismissed! Get to know the camp, and each other!”

Before you all go, you remember that there are a few important places you should visit before heading out into the field. The Armory tents, the Mess Hall, the Medical Tents, The Training Grounds, and your Personal Tents are all on the docket for places to explore.

Marian:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your chosen Lieutenant, a sturdy and tall looking woman with scars running all over her face and arms, walks up to you and salutes. She waits until the General has dismissed you again before grinning and ruffling your hair. ”Well, hey there, short stuff. Apparently you’re a chosen captain, hunh? Heh. You’re adorable… But orders are orders, and apparently I’m under yours. Where do you want to go, Captain?”

Naomi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Morgan sashays over to you, wearing a revealing outfit and putting on the coyest smile she can in front of you. You can tell she’s pitching her voice to be husky and seductive, and a part of you thinks she may be trying too hard… “Yes, Captain!... And, well, unless you want to take this somewhere private, General Meller just told you why I don’t have any equipment. My orders are to.. Escort you.” Morgan chuckles at her own innuendo, and then continues with only a touch of seriousness added to her demeanor. “If you want to get me equipped, then you’ll need to visit the Armory Tent, Captain. Well.. If you want to get equipped for battle. For other things, your Private tent might be best.”

Ophelia.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Kelsa walks up to you and bows respectfully. She seems to have a noble air, and is even wearing a very conservative set of clothing. But said clothing is a dress.. Completely unsuited for the battlefield. “Well.. Yes, Captain. My rear is yours, as you so put it, but I would appreciate we keep that as a metaphor unless we get to know each other better. If I may request that…” She looks mildly concerned she can’t, but she soons resettles her face into a look of calm and cool thought. “I believe you would like to get my equipment sorted out, correct? If so, the Armory tent would be our best option for doing that. Otherwise, if you were hungry, we could go to the Mess Hall. Which is really just a tent..”

Roran:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Anne runs up to you and salutes, giddy and happy and apparently unperturbed that you’re a male. “Lieutenant Anne Fische reporting for duty, Maa.. I m-mean, sir! Sorry sir! I’ll be your assistant from now on! Please, let me know how I can be of help! Right now, we have plenty of catching up to do to find everything in camp, so where would you like to start?”

Roran raises an eyebrow at the respectful response, unsure what to make of the eager lieutenant before he shakes his head. "Indeed, we've some work ahead of us before we can get things rolling. Currently I'm in need of a bodyguard that's not overly cumbersome in case I've need of you during scout patrols. We'll get you a crossbow, a shortsword and some leather armor at the armory tent before heading to the mess and training grounds to see what sort of womanpower we've got available to us."
Saying this he turns to leave the tent and gives a motion for Anne to follow. If the armory is simple enough to handle Roran would have his Lieutenant enter and acquire her own gear to save him the trouble of ordering something from another female. Afterward they'd make their way to the mess first and get in line for whatever was being served.

Tena was surprised at the size of this party. It would be too large and overcommitted to be useful to the armies' cause.
Pondering on how to broach the topic, she decided that she needed a relatively small party with a certain type of experience.
Walking over to the mess of tents, she called out, "As most of you know well by now, there are a pack of monsters who are tearing us a new one in the foraging grounds. I know that some of you would rather kill the beasts and be done with it, but I hope there is a small chance that we can take them and train them to bolster our forces. I'm going to be looking for a party that can not only capture these monsters alive, but are unafraid to die doing so. A good head on their shoulder would be useful as well."
Sweeping her eyes to look for interested parties, she continued, "Do I have any volunteers? Or will I have to do this myself?"

Sinead gave a sigh when it seemed like she was just gonna get ignored. He may be a human and ex-imperial, but it wasn't an excuse to act like she was non-existant. From the sounds of things, it looks like she has been given the job of removing the Imperials that are foraging in their lands, at which point Sinead begins to think up a plan... When she gets an idea. She looks over at the old woman and asks "So, you would mind telling me some things you know? Like do you happen to know how many there are, if they are foraging in a specific pattern or in a certain area, and more importantly were they are storing the food until it is sent to the imperials? I don't ask that you know all of this, just knowing anything along those lines would be a great help."

Naomi gave a mental sigh as she heard the words coming out of Morgan's mouth. Even the most oblivious could tell that Morgan was trying to get into her pants, and the revealing outfit she had on certainly didn't help her case. "It would be best that we get you suited up," Naomi said, wondering what she was going to do with this girl. "I'll need you to be capable on the frontlines, so you won't be running around in such fragile clothing on the battlefield." She could not see this woman running around in heavy armor, no doubt she might even object to such an assignment. Medium armor would probably be best in this situation, and weaponry she will decide on later. "Let's head to the armory tent and get this sorted out immediately."

Marian closes her eyes at the words short stuff, however she isn't one to lose her cool "Simple we will be walking to the armory on our way to there, I want you to give me a full report on our current forces, any possible objectives you might have lined up for me, and finally and probably foremost I want you to tell me what your skilled in" Marian said and then she walked out of the tent running her hands through her hair getting it back in its proper style. So far her lieutenant wasn't what she expected but she had a somewhat good feeling about her, she couldn't say what for sure but until proven otherwise she would stick with her. She kept her pace deliberately slow so she could hear all that her lieutenant would have to say to her.

Delzia nods as the troops are explained to her. Holding a hand up to the boy to silence him. "Yes we can, and we will" She glances at Zereteisomou and motions for him to get up and follow her. "We are going to assemble the troops we have and march now. it will be enough to surprise the detailed forces and once we free the captured we'll be able to overrun them." Getting up she walks past the boy patting him on the head. "Coming?" She offers Zereteisomou as she walks past the boy towards the assigned force to complete this task.

She nears the troops and looks them over before announcing herself to them. "Get over here." She yells loud enough to be sure she's heard. "You are the ones that offered to rescue the captured village and kill the informant?" She asks them waiting for a nod she continues. "Good you'll be coming with me and Him" Motions to Zereteisomou when he catches up to her.

Zereteisomou grins once again, "Helping is what we intended." He glances back at Delzia to notice her gesture, getting up and following right behind her.

After Delzia finished speaking he would bellow almost immediately after, not really waiting for them to respond. "As I'm sure you all know by now there is a group of about 15 Imperials at the village, the plan, as stated, is to free the captured, but the best way to do that is to have us split into two groups, one a small contingent and the other a large, distraction force. As much as I'm sure we'd all love to just run in and overwhelm them with a surprise attack if we did that they'd most likely just kill the very people we're trying to help or they'd try and use them as shields. Either way it'll be a lot more interesting if we catch them in between two forces rather than one, we don't want runaways do we?"

Grinning she nods and strutting around Zereteisomou swaying her hips sensually as she looks up the troops. "Very well you are correct. I'll take half and you take the other half you charge them first I'll come along behind their counter engage and attack anyone that flees and their rear overcoming and trampling them under our might?" She looks at the troops motions for a random selection of the troops. "We should depart now and make our way to the captured village and the empire rats." She glances at Him for a moment to wait for him to move out with her.
