The founding fields, a land of wreckage, danger, history. The soil here is blackened and bare, covered in gravel and soot. Large craggy spikes block vision in all directions, making this place a dangerous area to walk alone. A large mountain looms in the distance, it top broken ope and smokey. This place is the battlefield of one of most infamous battles in history, but it was also the beginning of change. Known as the bloody end to the dark ages, the center of this area marks the first time in history when the five kingdoms met together to discuss peace, and now the time has come again. Moderate sized armies from each of the five nations march forwards through the badlands, around the dangerous spikes and edges, their political leaders and other important nationals in tow.
Relatively, the weather looks good. This campaign will likely take several weeks. Some see this event as a worthless formality, but as uncomfortable as it is, it definitely ensures everyone wants to come to an agreement. The volcanic mountain and horrible terrain ensure that no one wishes to claim this territory as their own, even as strategically placed as it is.
The tents are set up are your country's flags are being raised high into the sky, as you see the others waving over in the distance. It is night an everyone is beginning to settle in. The proceedings will convene in the morning.

Sword on his belt, Lord Fallstar looked across from his tent to that of others. All of the kingdoms were here, as was expected, the Rosphadon noble keeping watch for the time being. How Kiran wished to mingle at present- to get to know the other diplomats, to learn of whom he would be made to speak with on behalf of his home. Perhaps it would make a good impression upon them. Lapida, Rowenoak, Ishuto, Xystansi... Whom should he visit first, he wondered. A shrug rolled across the man's shoulders as he headed back into his tent, making certain that his armour was secure upon his form. Black and gold- the colours of his family- made up that of the noble attire he wore, and that of the field plate he wore over it. Black plating with golden trim.
"Well... Perhaps I should visit Ishuto first. Most leave the best until last, but... Ah well." He mused aloud, brushing a gauntlet-covered hand through his dark hair. Perhaps he would find decent company in at least one of the camps. Ishuto and Lapida were his first choices. Perhaps Xystansi... He held no love for Rowenoak, personally. A nation run by cutthroats, brigands, thieves- both the pirates and the merchants could be described with any of those terms. And more, which he'd never speak aloud.
Perhaps Kiran would see a visitor before he could even set out. Fastening his dark cloak around his neck, a golden star making up the brooch, he would turn to step out of his tent once more. His left hand remained on his scabbard, his right hand by his side. He still had time for his decision.

Hanako sighs looking up at her own flag as she pulls her katana out of its sheath looking upon the blade with a smile, take a few practied swings the blade practicly singing as if it were cutting the air itself. She would nod in approval, resheathing the blade with a flourish her blood red and black splitmail plates clinking against eachother.
She would observe the other camps idly, she had been a part of many of skirmishes with all of the other nations and none had impressed her save rosphadean. They fought with honor none of the sneaky crap from a few of the others. She wondered if it would be acceptable to meet with the other diplomats. She wasn't much for politics herself much percering to settle scores with fists or blades, ut she was not a fool the nations needed peace more then war.
Hanako shrugs and decides it would certainly be benefical if she knew one of the others....she evins to walk across the field confidently, her gautled hand hovering near her katana juzt in case. She heads towards the roph camp with a freindly smile, she woulf ask around trying to find who she would speak to, her tail held high benind her showing her confident yet defensive state of mind more then any facial expression.

"Earl Fallstar..." A familiar voice asks from outside the tent. If you're not mistaken, that must be Erika. The promising young woman known to you from both your youths with crimson red hair. She patiently waits outside of the, her thumbs twiddling about in awkward fashion. "T-There's someone from Ishuto asking to see you." She was always a awkward with words, more of a person of action.
A small group of guard stop Hanako as she approaches. "Halt!" They demand. One of them peers suspiciously at her and growls, "What are you doing here, wolf." One of his fellows firmly nudges him in the back for the derogatory slur. "This is not our place to speak." He hisses quietly into the other man's ear. The man clears his throat and reiterates with snide politeness, "What brings you here, madam."

Kiran gave a nod to Erika. "Of course. Thank you, Erika. You know that you can call me Kiran though." He offered her a smile, patting her shoulder lightly as he passed. "Come with me, friend. We'll meet out guest directly." She always tried hard. Something he certainly appreciated about her- admired, even. Regardless with her skill with words, she always managed to convey her point. After a pause, but nonetheless, she conveyed it. With confidence in his steps (and hopefully his friend by his side), the earl made his way towards the small group of guards and the Lupine he could see- presumably, she was the one from Ishuto.

As the gaurds approach hanako her grip would lessen,on her blade, there was no reason to seem hostile at least until the gaurd spoke, her grip tightened and it took all that she had not to draw it "be glad that today I'm a diplomat freind else you'd die today. If you must know I'm seeking ypur own diplomat. I beilive it would be in our respective nations best interest to get to know eachother." She would glance back tp her camp to see if any were tensed to defend her, if so she would hold her hand up to stop them "I come with no gaurd because those of the roph are sipppsed to have honor. " glaring at the gaurd who spoke now "of course there seems to be exceptions."

Gissha stood proudly at the head of her camp watching the blood-red flags of her nation rise surrounded by too many others to bother counting. Her people were easily outnumbered by the rowdy warriors from the larger nomadic nations, but still they stood as the standard of power. It was in no small part because her nation managed good terms with the two largest nations as well as many others even as they generally warred among themselves. Xystansi might not be ruled by the Rhega, but it would accept their judgement on this matter all the same.
At other edges of the camp she could hear lutes, flutes, and hang's being played as the rough nomads had what merriment they could. GIssha wasn't sure if it was really the proper behavior for an event of this magnitude, but then the nomads of Xystansi had never been known for their appropriate behavior. Stopping them certainly wasn't a battle worth fighting, and besides, the rising music was rather enchanting. It was certainly a better alternative to the endless brawling that would take place if they were asked to sit on their hands.

Erika's freckled face forms a smile as she invited to come along. Her sturdy armor makes light clanking sounds as she walks along behind Kiran. "Ah, there she is." Erika says as she points at the lupine woman in the distance. Meanwhile Hanako is briefed of the situation as one of the guards walks off, presumably to inform someone else of her arrival. No one decides to follow her to the other camp, as she never asked for any assistance, so she remains there alone. Not long after she can see two more official looking characters in the distance, the red haired woman pointing out her presence.
A large bonfire lights up, just a few meters away as a group of catfolk begin to gather in a circle around it. The hang drum player sits cross-legged in front of the
group and begins playing a steady beat. A regally dressed female dance adorned with clattering scrap of metal begins to shake her hips, and the men start to cheer. More women come out and the entire group begins chanting. Food and drink is passed out by the as other instrument players begin to chime in. A gigantic dead boar is lugged out by two hefty looking men and affixed above the fire. The head shaft lets out a shout and begins leading the group in chanting while annointing sauce and herbs.

Kiran gave a nod, arm resting lazily upon his sword. It tended to just remain there, as it reassured him that, indeed, his weapon was still there. He didn't feel like himself without it in most situations. Hell, it was rare that he even removed his armour. Only one person outside of her family, excluding his childhood, had really seen him without some form of martial protection in any setting- and that was Erika. It was a sign of trust, being able to speak to an unguarded Kiran. "I see. Walk beside me, Erika. No sense in hiding yourself... And besides, I prefer it that way." The light clinking of his own armour seemed to match the red-head's own as they walked.

Gissha watched the growing party from afar. It was always amazing to her that other peoples seemed to have no stillness in them at all. Constantly they were shuffling and chattering, but rarely did they act, and rarely did they say anything. She wouldn't say that she hated them for it, but she pitied their undisciplined minds and disliked the constant noise of their company except for the few hours in the evening when their music rose above the din of the unceasing bedlam.
Glancing around to check that no one was observing her, she turned to face the mountains and the distant camps and took a drink from her water skin. She was a bit uncomfortable with some of the things expected of her during this time, particularly the expectation that she don the white uniform of leadership. If push were to come to shove, she doubted that she could avoid dishonoring her temporary rank by bleeding on it's uniform. Then again, she was expected to bring these talks to a close peaceably for Xystansi. That mission would already be a miserable failure if she were forced to fight here on this ancient battleground.
Looking back over her shoulder, she couldn't help blushing softly at the thought of the feast that would take place once the boar finished cooking. She was hungry, but the rest of the Xystansi people had no shame that she recognized, and a way of making her feel... uncomfortable... at meals.

Hanako glances towards the two well armored individuals. She would give a short curt bow to the guards before spinning on her heels, removing her hand from her blade. "greetings" she would say giving a soft bow "My name is Hanako tsukiko. A diplomat from the nation of Ishuto and one of the nations most highly regarded samurai. Am I to assume you are the Diplomat from Rosphadon?" She would look the male and female up and down her ears giving a twitch, swiveling around, her tail raised.

Laying under the Lapidian flag, Eolande wondered for the umpteenth time why she was here, staring at the quickly dimming sky.
Maybe because she spontaneously volunteered her services to this endeavor? Nah, it was because of action!
... Well, at least that's what she thought. The long trip to these fields were monotonous. And the lack of much happening, save for the set up for tomorrow.
Blowing a huge breath out, Eolande sat up and ran her hands through her short, off white hair.
She was bored, and to relieve boredom, she'd probably walk around.
Hopefully, she wouldn't set off an international incident.

Kiran bowed deeply at the waist towards Hanako, his right arm folding over his abdomen at the same time. "A pleasure to meet you, Madame Tsukiko. I am Earl Kiran Fallstar- I'll let you introduce yourself, Erika." He gave a slight grin in his friend's direction, before standing back up, his expression becoming neutral once more. His right hand went limp at his side again, left arm still resting upon his sword. He towered over the both of them at a mighty six feet and three inches- though he didn't appear particularly imposing at present. He wasn't trying to be, after all. From her stance, Kiran could tell that Hanako was indeed a powerful warrior- she wasn't joking about being highly regarded, obviously.

"Second Lieutenant Erika Lionheart!" Erika blurts out suddenly as she i asked to introduce herself. She quickly clams up darts her eyes all over. "Umm, this is the first time meeting a foreigner for me. murmur grumble not very mrmrmr mutter sociable lely whisper coof." She mutters something under her breath too quietly for the others to hear and then clears her throat.
About an hour goes by of frenzied dancing, and cheerful shouts until finally a loud gong sounds of and the merriment dies down. The chef makes a formal announcement of the feast being ready and a group of men slowly lower the thing down onto a large clean cloth. A rather sizable halberd is pulled out and a warrior begins crudely hacking the cooked beast to pieces, starting with its head, then limbs, then major chunks of meat. Fruits are tossed in upon the sheet, stuffed into the animal and laid about as delectable decoration.
As Eolande sits there, bored out of her mind a peculiar thing begins to occur around her. A tune plays in the air right nearby by hear and the sound of arrow breaking against the ground no more than ten feet away from her position. The tune play in the air like some kind of flute instrument, marred only by the sound of cracking arrows as the splinter and crack. Closer inspection will reveal that there are no tips to these strange arrows, and they are possibly the source of the music, but damn would it sting if you got accidentally nailed with one of these things.

Kiran couldn't help but chuckle at how quickly and awkwardly Erika had introduced herself. He reached over, patting her shoulder in a familiar fashion, giving it a light squeeze afterwards. "What brings you to our camp, Madame Tsukiko?" The nobleman would politely ask, still sizing her up somewhat. He wasn't sure whether to give her his trust or not quite yet. He hadn't spoken to her at enough length, and certainly knew nothing of her.

Hanako smiles quickly as erica introduced herself, noticing the armor she wore made her curious She was obviously a soldier of sorts why was she so shy? She had never heard of a warrior who was shy. She quickly shrugged it off regaining her composure she would frown slightly wondering how to proceed "Well as I told your guards I heard this nation was one of honor and I have fought with many and find it to be true. I believe our nations will benefit greatly if we got to know each other....In case, something goes wrong with the proceedings our nations would benefit from an alliance." she would nod looking up at the man "Not that I expect them to. imagine what peace will be like for all."

"I see... I believe that the proceedings will go fine. But I suppose that it doesn't hurt to cement relations, now does it?" Kiran rubbed his chin. "Very well. Though I plan to visit the other camps soon, to greet all others that are attending. We will have to keep it brief. I apologise sincerely if you wished for more of my time." Indeed, he had to meet with every single one of the diplomats that would be attending the summit. Each of the five kingdoms would have a representative- at least one. He would likely leave Erika at camp to keep everything under check once he set off.

"ah I see." Hanako would say idly, glancing around at the other camps and to her own. She would then refocus her attention on Kiran her tail standing stout behind her, shifting on her feet her splintmail clinking as she shifts her weight around thoughtfully "Would you mind terribly if I accompanied you Fallstar?"

Kiran thought for a moment. He supposed it wouldn't particularly hurt, but... He wanted to visit the other camps simply as a representative of Rosphadon. He didn't wish to have any form of entourage, even if it was another diplomat. Then again, it was likely she'd be visiting them as well. So... "Not at all. Feel free to accompany me." He offered a polite smile. Then, he turned to Erika. "Second Lieutenant Lionheart, I expect you to keep a close eye on the camp while I'm away. I give you full permission to act as you see fit should there be any issues in my absence. Understood?"
Normally, this was the part where he'd decide to give her a hug- just to see her blush. Rather adorable whenever she did. But... With a guest present, it was doubtful that it was a good idea. "I feel that we should visit the Xystansi camp first. Lapida afterwards, then Rowenoak. I'll walk you back to your camp after our visits. Sound fair?"

Asleep up to this point within her tent, her country's flag flown high, Hazan awakens. As is normal for her, she sleeps with her katana cradled with her at all times, ready to attack at the slightest notion of danger. Sitting up, she tries to remember just where she is and why she's here. It finally comes to her that she was selected as one of the Ambassadors for Ishuto, a grand honor if she ever knew of one, though why they selected someone as new to diplomacy as her she doesn't know. Maybe the lord thinks that more physical persuasion may be required than verbal? Well, it's not her place to question. By the sounds of music she hears, there is some event going on nearby. It would likely be a good idea to observe and see just who she can ally herself with. If her years of fighting bandits taught her nothing else, it's how much easier a decent ally can make a situation. It also taught her an incompetent ally can be just as bad as an enemy, but a country wouldn't send someone incapable of handling themselves to an event such as this. Right?
Contemplation is getting her nowhere. Cleaning herself up and securing her blade to her waist, she moves towards the source of the sound.
