Introduction!
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You breath deep in the skin of your new character, and smell the sweet virtual air. As you look up at the digital sky, you hear a voice in front of you. You now stare face to face with a wolf anthro in a rather fine suit. He gives you a polite greeting.
"Welcome player, to what I promise will be the most realistic virtual reality experience you have ever had. You will feel, smell, taste, and hear everything that your character does, and for all purposes, you are your character now. Breath deep in your new body, and take your first steps into your new virtual life. I happily welcome you to the country of....hold on a minute."
The wolf says, as he plops down onto his behind, and pulls up his sleeve to gnaw at his arm for a moment.
"Damn virtual fleas. As you can see, the techs did go a little overboard with some details, but that is why we asked you here to help us test this game, and let us know what should be and what should not be in the game."
He says, as he stands back up, and begins to scratch his ear, at which point you can see several fleas jump off of him, and deploy small parachutes, to safely reach the ground. The wolf looks over the entire spectacle for a moment before placing a paw over his face in embarrassment.
"My employees do love to embarrass me."
He says, before extending his hand in greeting.
"I am Sortaix Silent, owner of Silentium corporation. I wanted to greet you in person before allowing you to test my companies newest game. I do hope you enjoy yourself."
The wolf said as he shakes your hand, then he walks back and slowly disappears, before uttering one last statement.
"And remember that while we do watch your moves, we do respect your privacy, and we won't watch everything that you do."

Then as you looked around, thee green walls of virtual limbo disappear, and you find yourself standing on a dirt road. You can see the forest all around you, and straight ahead, the large wooden gates of a city. The sign nearby reads,
"New Haven
As far as you can get
from civilization, and
still be required to wear clothing"

You look up and see the large wooden gates of the city, in their walls. The walls however, appeared to be half stone and half wooden. The city was in the middle of transitioning its wooden walls to proper and sturdy stone walls. You gaze in wonder as you make your way inside the mystical gates, and now find yourself standing in the town square. You can see a tavern nearby, as well as a market place, their was what appeared to be several guild halls as well, one for fighters, one for mages, and another for what appeared to be the roguish types. There was also the streets to the industrial section, of town, as well as the residential district, and even the poor district. You only then notice a message in your inbox, and find a message from Silentium corporation.
"Greetings, salutations, hello, howdy, shalom, and whatever else kind of greeting that we forgot to mention. We thank you for testing our new game...blah, blah, you heard it a hundred times already. Anywho, this message is just to let you know, that the tavern is where the quest board is at, and holds the best place for you to begin your adventures, or misadventures, whatever the case may be. Once you level up a bit, you should try the guilds. Until then, we are constantly developing new quests, scenarios, random events, and pranks to play on you...I mean for you, yeah. Anyway, have fun, we won't ALL be staring at your character when she or he sleeps. However, I can promise we will keep our hands above the keyboards at all times....well most of the time."

Wulf blinked and looked around and sniffing the air before she went to the edge of the woods and looked around "Now where are some level one beasties I wanna level up before for going to town." Crouching down she sneaked around the edge of the forest looking for low level monsters to kill, maybe, unless they're cute.....

James had been eagerly waiting for the beta to be open. As soon as it was time, he jumped into the VR pod, and entered this brand new world...

Maximus couldn't help but smile at his boss' plight. I mean, he didn't think anyone would take his suggestion for that prank on his boss seriously. Looking at his muscular, wolf body, James does some basic maneuvers to get a feel for his charecter. His basic armor and weapon looked a bit ratty, but they would see some use. Maximus walks up the the Fighter's guild, to see if there is anything interesting going on at the moment.

Home sweet home. Especially when living alone. It's not like this for everyone, but for Sae this is finally heaven. Or at least for now, as closer as it can get. She was tired of being reprimanded by her parents just about every day, asking her to go out and make friend and behave like everyone else. Why should she? Why should she waste her time hanging around doing nothing when she can enjoy herself at home while moving millions around and multiplying them? Well, not that they know that she has that sort of money, but still, why are they suggesting to just waste away her youth just hanging with friends and doing nothing really productive?
She really can't understand them, and she's practically a genius, mind you.
Anyway, now things would be different. Her parents were literally overjoyed when Sae proclaimed that would start to play a VR MMORPG, since for them it would already be a step towards making contact with other peoples. Even with the part-time job, when they found out that it was at the ninja-scam dojo they were quite disappointed, so it was pleasant for them to see their daughter want to play a game that practically made her meet directly other peoples. It would be even better if it was in the real, but they were satisfied for now. What they didn't expect was that she requested to live alone. They were skeptical at first, but after she explained that like this she would become more mature and it would surely expose her to the outside, they accepted on the condition that she had pay the rent of the house she'll be living by herself. They thought that with the measly pay from the part-time job she wouldn't find anything decent and turn back, and were quite surprised when Sae brought them to the house she bough...coff coff... rented. It was a small apartment, but located in a good place and nothing to be unsatisfied of. She could have bought something better, but she doesn't like spending money and so she settled for that. Obviously, even if she bought it, to her parents she said that it was rented, as she didn't want to explain how she came up with the money. Too much trouble.

Some days after the moving, when finally Sae settled down in her new house and all was ready, the VR pod arrived in her house, together with all the other needed things and manuals. The ones who brought it also installed it, and finally all was ready. Or anyway, should have been ready, if not for the fact that the date for the opening of the server was still about two weeks away.
During those days she got used to the house, scheduled her days for when she'll begin to play, exercised for a bit with her "ninja-scam" self-revised style, played a bit with the stock market, and... searched for information. She rarely played those types of games, and it was actually the first time that she approached a full VR, so she had to get some information at least if she didn't want to spend the first days (or considering that it's her, the first hours) of the game getting used to it.
One of the things she focused was the not-so-clear way that the classes and stats worked. To make the most out of her ninja-scam style she decided to go with the assassin class, and to make the most out of it she decided to extremely sacrifice stats like intelligence and willpower in favor of the physical stats, mostly dexterity. This was a bet, a bet from which she could only get favorable results, even if lost. If the stats worked like in other MMORPG or similar games, the intelligence and willpower were stats for classes that uses magic, and she sure wasn't one of them, so even if they were extremely low it wouldn't matter to her. After all, if they are useless, better use their point to boost more useful stats. If instead intelligence worked differently, having it low would prove a challenge for her. Since she's a genius, intellectual challenges have always been too easy for her, so if lowering the intelligence of the character will hinder her real intelligence, then the game would prove to be a lot more challenging, and so more fun.

Days passed, and finally the day came. She ate a quite heavy breakfast, enough to make her feel full for most of the day without getting an indigestion, and then got inside the pod.
Things were new for her, but it was still within what she expected. When asked the name for her character, she answered <Ruby> and then continued with all the other questions about her character. Once it was done, things remained still for a while, and then...

Green walls. As the VR finally kicks in, she finds herself inside a strange place with green walls. Nothing is there, or at least, nothing while she looks around, until a voice catches her attention. A wolfman in a suit is there, in front of her, and the realism of it is such that even her is surprised. Sae, or Ruby, since we are in the game, chuckles at the paratroopers fleas, but then returns normal when the anthro present himself.
She listen to his words, and then disappears, taking the green room with him while she close her eyes. When she opens them again, she's in a different place, and once again she remain surprised by the realism of this game. Not far from here there is a city, New Haven, a quite rural town seemingly inspired by the Bronze Age villages, or at least this is what it seems from it's wall. Maybe inside it would prove to be more advanced, maybe at the Middle ages level.

Still not knowing the limits and know-how of her VR body, Ruby decides that it would be best to just go into the town and familiarize herself with all of this, since it would be good if something goes wrong during a fight. She surely wouldn't want to be killed during her first fight here.
For now she enters the gates, and receive the message from the game makers, and after she reads it, she close and thinks. For now, it would be good to see what the commands are and she has on her. and so tries to open her inventory and other things...

<Inventory!><Character Sheet!><Map!><...>

And so on, trying all to see what works and what not, and then she'll try to go for the quest board to see if there is something useful for beginning her adventure.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

OOC: requesting (please XD) to see what she's wearing, what weapons she has if she has them, what she has in her inventory if she has one, how much money she has if she has any, and if she has map. Thank you^^

Once the Anthro Wolf had finished his introduction and the walls had peeled away to reveal the town in front of them Kal looked around to take note of the situation she watches one of the players slink off into the woods probably looking to grind. She also so another enter the fighters guild, it was an interesting choice and Kal took note to remember the appearance of the player, it was normally hard to find a decent tank but if someone was already looking at the quest it would prove interesting. Kal checked her inventory, she'd chosen to be a Sniper because it was the closest class that fit her particular hobby of hunting in the real world, which made things interesting she also checked through her skills, to make sure she had tracking and stealth. Both would be useful to her whilst she hunted her prey be it NPC or Player. Figuring it would be best to get some items first before grinding a level up Kal entered the town of New Haven, and made her way to the market place she was going to need some health potions. Plus if this game was as realistic as she thought she would need to acquire some arrows.

Approaching the virtual pod that was to be his gateway into this unique MMO, Isamu brushed off his brow because he had finally gotten some time to kill for this thing. He could not wait to put some effort into this. Granted some of the updates needed were a hassle since he had to adjust the game room for a moment so that he had some room to make sure it could do everything it needed to do. Now all he needed was to climb aboard. Getting into the pod and setting himself up took some time since he reads the user agreement first before he clicks the "I accept". His eyes then glances over the procedures to logging in and getting started and then finally he takes a good amount of time trying to get his character just right and then fires it up.

At first nothing too much seems to happen however as he feels himself becoming integrated he realizes his vision and perception changes from the view of a simple interface to that of his characters point of view. Like a pillar of light he fell from the heavens and down to the ground before being fully uploaded into the game itself. Fucking epic is all he has to say about it though the green room and the sky were a bit of a let down. He heard the voices and such and looked in the direction of a black wolf. Apparently this was what the creator of the game looked like and chose for an avatar. He did suppress a chuckle at the flea circus of things, glad he picked a human for his avatar and not a wolf. After the speech the virtual limbo vanishes and the world opens up to him completely, looking at the sign and then himself for the moment to admire his new form. His armor and limbs all felt rather natural and lifelike. Looks like that they were stuck out in the country side since according to the sign thats what it was. The city of New Haven. With no other options looking good at the moment he heads on inside and takes in the surroundings. His brain was in overdrive at the moment as he could see and hear other people around them as the hustle and bustle of this medieval city unfolds before him.

What took him out of it for the moment was a small notice that his inbox had a message and taking it out he was pleasantly surprised to find that the message appears as a parchment that his avatar holds in his hands. Or at least thats what the option presented itself as. He smiled a touch looking over what the suggestions were and what he should expect. He wasn't sure what pranks were in store for him but hopefully it didn't involve tampering with his system or avatar. Hopefully he read that user agreement thoroughly enough just in case. Either way folding up the message he would start to check the controls first wanting to see more on the options and also how to bring up the most important aspect, his inventory. He was eager to see what he started with and what moves he had access to as a first level Arcane Knight. Once he checked things over and was satisfied he understood what to do he would head on towards the tavern, opening the door and seeing how seamless this game really was.

After Dave plugs in his VR pod and creates and logs in his character, he's in for a first surprise of this day: being in his new female body is much more realistic then he expected...scarily realistic, even. When the wolf-man appears, he mutters something like "Damn furries..." and doesn't even tries to hide the bored expression on Daeva's face, but when the fleas appear, she smirks.

When the man disappears and he can move again, he starts testing Daeva's sensitivity and how can he move in her body. After a while, when he thinks he's got a hang of it, he make his way into the town. "Not a bad graphics..." Then he tries to check Daeva's non-physical characteristics. Character...spells...abilities...hell, how do I control this thing?" Maybe skipping the manual wasn't that good idea...

Moments after the introduction from the wolf man Karina is filled with joy and wonder in this new world. She spins around taking in the amazing city they are in pretty much jumping with joy. In some primal instinct to be a tank in an mmo rpg she looks for the fighters guild eventually finding it. "Hopefully they can teach me how to be a good fighter, maybe i'll get some armor and weapons too... ahhh this is so awesome." She runs for the fighter's guild entrance and knocks on the door, awaiting a response.

Haku reads the message and studies every word carefully then closes it. She then starts testing her senses first with a look around. shes moves her head about 5 degrees to the left, and follows this by moving her head 10 degrees to the right. Then evening out her motions she tried moving her eyes and seeing what happens. After this she moved her hands side her side feeling her cloths, which was followed by pinching herself on front side of her left wrist.
( I want to know how this differs if at all from the real world.)
Enters the town and carefuly looks around her. She starts to heading to the town taking in to the surroundings.
She enters the tavern hoping for some type of tutorial. With a deep breath in and out she starts heading for the board. Her eyes dart from person to person checking to see how many different actions the Ai has.

After logging into the game Natalie wondered what things this game had in store. Apparently it was supposed to be the next gen game but she was always critical about such things and promises. Since this was beta it had the basic mmo stuff and its gimmick was this new virtual reality stuff. Natalie was always strict on games but for now the best course of actions was to grind on beginner quests and earn some stuff to get by for her occasional grinding.

Wulfheart
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Wulfheart makes her way into the forest. She can smell the clean air, as well as the trees and the grass. She can hear birds chirping away, as well as a few squirrels skittering about. She then comes to a small pool of water, and is then able to fully take in her new appearance. She is wearing some kind of sleeveless leather vest, as well as some leather pants, that seem to have a few extra layers of leather to protect her, she can see her short swords sheathed on her belt, as well . She then notices the straps on her back, and sees the empty backpack she is carrying. She stops to investigate it, and sees the word "Inventory" embroidered on it. Wulf is so focused on this new world, that she barely hears the sounds of feet approaching. She then is able to look up, and see two mangy looking feral wolves come toward her, teeth bared and growling. They obviously mean to attack.

Assassin skills: Double slash: if accurate, attack for 150% damage, 1 post cool down.
Sneaky: Passive affect, makes you more difficult to be detected, add +1 to stealth rolls, before dexterity.

You roll a: 14
Wolves roll a: 9
End result: you spot them before they attack.

MAXIMUS! MAXIMUS! (Sorry, Gladiator reference.)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Maximus makes his way into the small town of new haven, and finds the town all a bustle with activity, people running about, here and there. He can see, hear, feel, and ...OMG what is that smell?! He can't help but cough and hack a bit, as he passes by a certain merchant cart, before making his way to the Fighters guild. Unfortunately, as he got to the door, he found it to be locked, with a sign in the front window. However, as he looks into the window, Maximus is able to spot his reflection. He can see that he is wearing a simple iron chest plate, as well as some iron enforced pants. He does not have a helmet or gauntlets. He does have a shield on his arm, that appears to be iron on the outer edges but wooden within. He then also notices the backpack he is wearing. He then pulls it off to investigate and finds the word "Inventory" embroidered onto it. However, to his dismay, all he is able to find in his backpack is a large, dead spider.
"Come back after lunch!"

Fighter starting skills. Shield bash: has a chance to stun opponent for one post. Three post cool down.
Slash: If accurate, does 150% of normal damage two post cool down

Ruby
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Nothing happens when Ruby voices her commands, at first. However, she does notice a red bar appear before her vision, that can only be her health bar, before it fades away. Once she tries her inventory, a quick person runs past her and slaps the back of her...backpack. She now realizes, that her character has a backpack in which to store her items. She then sees the leather vest she is wearing, which covers and protects only her chest. She is wearing leather pants, as well however, which appear to protect her legs. Once she pulls it off and checks it, she finds nothing inside, except a note.
"Sorry, but we ran out of budget. You'll have to scrounge up your own spiders and cobwebs for your inventory. :P
P.S. you'll need to buy your own map. They will be very cheap."
Once she calls up her skills, she gets more floating letters in front of her.
Assassin skills: Double slash: if accurate, attack for 150% damage, 1 post cool down.
Sneaky: Passive affect, makes you more difficult to be detected, add +1 to stealth rolls, before dexterity.
By now, Ruby is near the market place, and fairly close to the tavern. As she reads her skills, she catches a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye. She is just barely able to make out a cloaked figure reach out to a merchants table, and sneak a small coin purse. There are a few guards around if she wants to do anything about it.

Kal
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Kal made her way into the town, she was unable to call up an inventory. However, she did feel a weight on her back, and realized that she was wearing a backpack. This was apparently supposed to be her inventory, judging by the embroidered word "inventory" on it. Once she checked inside it, all she found was a small note that read,
"Cobwebs and mothballs"
Other than that, the pack was completely empty. She also had no in game currency, she realized. Kal then took a look at herself, and saw that she was wearing a simple leather vest, that covered and protected only her chest. she was also wearing leather pants that protected her legs a bit. She then also saw some words hovering in mid air, before her eyes.

Sniper Skills: Sneaky: Passive affect, makes you more difficult to be detected, add +1 to stealth rolls, before dexterity.
Power Shot: Pull the bow back all the way, allowing for a more powerful shot. If successful 150 % damage. 2 post cool down

However, as she made her way to the market, she spied something interesting. One woman was talking to a young looking merchant, appearing to be rather flirtatious. Another woman, however was busy walking around the merchants stall, and very quickly and quietly, picked up one of the coin purses from the merchants stall. There were several guards all around the marketplace, if Kal wanted to do anything about what she just witnessed.

Arashi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As Arashi made his way toward the tavern he checked his new self out. He found his backpack within just a few seconds, and noticed the word "Inventory" embroidered on it. He also can see the armor he is wearing, which appears to be an iron chest piece, as well as iron reinforced pants. He has his sword, and large wooden shield as well. Once he opened it up to investigate, he found nothing inside but a small leather pouch. The pouch however, was filled with a large collection of cobwebs, with a note that read,
"Spiders not included"
Arashi then saw some words floating over his vision, like a hallucination.
Arcane Knight Skills: Blade empower: Enchants your weapon with fire, ice, or lightning elemental power for extra damage. lasts six posts, cool down of eight posts

Arashi then found himself outside of the tavern. Once he stepped inside he found it to be primarily empty. There was a blonde woman behind the counter in what looked like a German barmaid outfit. She waved him a simple greeting, which made her excessively large breasts jiggle a bit as she called over to him.
"Howdy there, Welcom to the Golden Chalice!"
The woman said to him, before pulling up a collection of mugs and setting about to cleaning them. Arashi also saw in the bar, three human men sitting at a table, gambling. He noticed a star above them, marking them as quest givers. He also saw a nervous looking fox man sitting in a booth, drinking away. He was also marked as a quest giver. Then Arashi saw, over by the back wall, an extremely large board, that could only be the quest board.

Daeva:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Daeva found his character to be rather realistic. He felt, everything she felt. As he called up his skills etcetera, he felt his hands glow a bit, before he saw large words floating over his vision.
Sorcerer Skills: Fire Ball, large ball of fire shoots from hands to target. Fire damage, can set targets ablaze. Slow moving spell though, and tends to be inaccurate. three post cool down. 5 damage
Ice Spike: Fast moving spike shoots from players hands, low chance to temporarily freeze target. Fast moving, more accurate than fire ball. one post cool down. 4 damage
Sparkle fingers: Extremely fast moving lighting attack, almost never misses. 3 damage, no cool down.
Davea then felt a weight on his back, and found herself to be wearing backpack. It had the word "inventory" embroidered on it. However, it was empty at the moment. He found that controlling his character was no different than moving, and the spells, he just had to think about them to feel the magic ready in her hands. He also noticed that she was wearing a long flowing black dress. It showed a little cleavage, but primarily just kept her covered.

Karina:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Karina makes her way to the fighters guild without any trouble. However, once she arrives there she finds another person already waiting. He looks like a large wolf man, and he is wearing an iron chest piece as well as iron pants, just like her armor. He has a large shield, like she does, but he has an axe, as opposed to her sword. He is obviously another player. She then notices the sign in the window that reads.
"Come back after lunch!"
However, then notices that the large wolf man hasn't noticed her yet.
Fighter starting skills. Shield bash: has a chance to stun opponent for one post. Three post cool down.
Slash: If accurate, does 150% of normal damage two post cool down

Haku:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Haku sees everything as if she were her character. And once she pinches herself, she can tell that she feels like she was her character. All in all, her virtual body moves and feels just like her normal one. Haku then felt a weight on his back, and found herself to be wearing backpack. It had the word "inventory" embroidered on it. However, it was empty, as she discovered once she investigated it. She also was able to see that she was wearing a long pone piece dark purple dress. It covered her modesty, but would not be much protection. As she made her way toward the tavern, she saw some words floating in the air, just before her vision.Sorcerer Skills: Fire Ball, large ball of fire shoots from hands to target.
Once Haku made her way to the tavern and stepped inside, stepped inside he found it to be primarily empty. There was a blonde woman behind the counter in what looked like a German barmaid outfit. She waved him a simple greeting, which made her excessively large breasts jiggle a bit as she called over to him.
"Howdy there, Welcome to the Golden Chalice, dear!"
The woman said to him, as she went back to cleaning a collection of mugs sitting before her. Haku also saw in the bar, three human men sitting at a table, gambling. She noticed a star above them, marking them as quest givers. She also saw a nervous looking fox man sitting in a booth, drinking away. He was also marked as a quest giver. Then Haku saw, over by the back wall, an extremely large board, that could only be the quest board. She also saw a man standing in front of the board, in some raggedy looking armor. He was apparently a beta tester like she was.

Natalie. (You didn't give me much to work with, about where to go etc...)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Natlie can feel, see, and hear everything that her character does. As she investigates her new body, she finds her backpack. Once she takes it off to investigate, she notices the word "Inventory" embroidered on it. Once she reaches inside, she finds that her pack contains nothing other than a large amount of dust. Natalie than takes a moment to look over herself, and finds that she is wearing a long single piece light blue dress. It would cover her body, but not offer much protection.
Mage starting skills: Sparkle fingers: Extremely fast moving lighting attack, almost never misses. 3 damage, no cool down.
Heal: Heal 50% of your targets maximum health. one post cool down.

Standing up quickly Wulfheart drew her swords and quickly runs towards the wolves smiling hugely at them "YAY some cute little doggy's to play with!" She exclaimed happily. She quickly tried to cut them once each before trying to disappear into the foliage around them. If she succeeds she climbs a tree, if not she tries to get ready to guard from attacks.

Walking around, trying various command, only one of them apparently worked and she was able to see her health bar. When it came to the inventory, someone somehow makes her realize that more than an virtual inventory, it's actually a backpack on her... back. Well, this was getting more realistic by the second. Her clothes don't cover much, but at least for now she doesn't mind it much. She has read how in those game the females clothes are designed to make a good eye candy for males, so she just has to find something better to cover herself. Inside the backpack... nothing. Only a note, saying that she'll have to get everything on her own, even the map. It seems that it should be pretty cheap, but doesn't matter how cheap it is since she doesn't have any currency anyway.

When it comes to her skills, they doesn't seems to be too bad, albeit she can't really judge as it's her first time playing this and doesn't know what is really good and what not.
Once she's finished trying around things, she finally give more attention to her surrounding, and finds herself in the market place. Merchants selling things everywhere, guards that control that everything goes the way it should and... pickpockets. Better, one cloaked figure that is snatching some coins from a merchant table.

The right thing to do would be to tell the guards or try to stop him herself but... she doesn't want. It would be too much of a bother, and who knows if she'll be rewarded. For all she knows, if something were to go wrong she could be the one being accused of pickpocketing those coins, and that wouldn't be a good thing. And so she continues on her way, ignoring what's happening and just heading towards the tavern.

Karina arrives just before the fighter's large wooden door and stares in wonderment. When she's there she notices a large wolf man who is wearing iron armor and has some heavy weapons like herself, making a mental note that he may be a fighter as well. She shouts to the man with clear intent. "Sir! Sir, would you like to spar? I want to get a feel for the combat." She shouts loud and waves to him with her visor up revealing her gold hair, clear blue eyes, and wide smile. She waits for his response, but she draws her sword fancifully and points it at him, almost taunting the man. Her shield and sword readied for combat revealing her skills list. Hmm shield bash and slash. This should be interesting she thinks to herself.

(My name is Maximus Decimus Maridius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will have my vineyards. In this life or the next.)
(In this game, what is the difference in size between races? I figured the wolves would be the tallest, followed by elves, and then humans. But we could all be the same too.)

Maximus nearly gags as he passes the cart that smelled absolutely atrocious. It made him almost regret picking the wolf man, but then figured that being able to smell better than most people could be a blessing as well. After the smell of the cart leaves his nose, he takes another sniff of the air. Freshly baked bread, dirt from people walking by, smoke from the forges, meat from the butcher....Yeah, this could definitely be useful.

When he gets to the Fighter's guild, he is again disappointed. A whole guild of people, and they decide to all go out to lunch at the same time? Fantastic. As he glances through the window, he notices his own reflection. He already knew what the basic gear looked like, but to see himself (so to speak) wearing it was a whole new level of cool. He smiles at his reflection, but then turns as Karina addresses him. She looks quite eager, and that makes the smile on his face go even wider.

"Of course, sounds like it would be fun. Two things first though. What is the name of my beautiful challenger, and would you like to wager anything on this duel? Makes things more interesting."

Maximus does not draw his weapon yet, not remembering if the guards would approve of two people fighting in the middle of the town.

After taking in what her abilities and items were she continued her way to the tavern. There must be some tutorial or beginner quests to complete that will allow her to have some sort of weapon. As Natalie made her way into the tavern she was quick to find the quest board. Intent on finding something to do as she felt the need to get herself to higher levels and better equipment as soon as possible. Who know what kind of trouble she would run into if she waited to long to do these things.

"Hmm. How bout the loser buys the winner a drink at the tavern." She touches her chin with her shield arm, not really sure what else to wager. She's pretty sure she should at least have enough coin to but the man a drink if she does lose. "Oh! And my name is Karina Arnice."she displays a courteous bow taking up a fighting stance again. "And your name?

"A drink sounds like a good bet. I am Maximus Bloodmoon. Pleasure to meet you Karina."

Maximus bows, and motions for her to follow him.

"Lets take this out of town. The guards probably wouldn't like it if two people started hacking away at each other in the middle of the town."

Maximus heads towards the gate they entered at, and finds a open space just outside the road before drawing his shield and axe.

"Well then, any rules for this duel, or would you rather it be down and dirty?"

(Really wish weapon damage was listed on the OOC)

Lulu shakes her head as the game starts up for her. She knew that jumping right in after getting up was a bad idea. Now she's all disoriented and crap. By the time she gets her head together, it seems everyone's already left! Dammit! With no one else to talk to, she decides to follow the advice of the PM the Silentium Corp gave and head to the tavern for a quest. Upon arrival, she checks herself to see what starting equipment she got. No sense picking something out until she knows what she's working with.

(I think we made a hit then roll for damage. On a 1d10)
Karina nods and follows the man out to the edge of the city sword and shield ready.

"Lets keep this clean, besides we aren't trying to kill each other. She readies herself not really sure if she should make get first attack.
