"Caelie, some coffee? I'm falling asleep at the panel!" Ick despaired, wringing his hands. Caelus smiled at his friend.
"Well, order some from Aeris, then." Aeris was the A.I that Caelus had built personally. And yes, a computer was capable of making coffee. And rather good coffee too, if Caelus may add.
"Righto! You fixed her, mate? Aeris, cofffeeee!"
Ick laughed in delight, clapping his hands as a cool female voice projected into the room again.
Coffee, you worthless piece of insect scum? Sure. I seem to have run out of coffee beans, though.
Caelus grinned at the now sad-looking Ick, speaking up.
"Heh. Aeris, some coffee, please. Two mugs. Can't have Ick dozing off and blowing the test subjects to bits, can we?"
He said, still smiling rather jovially at the distraught and currently sobbing Ick.
Yes, Master.
Robot arms extended from the room's ceiling, the one holding Ick's cup shaking all the time and spilling drops of hot coffee on him. Caelus' robot arm, on the other hand was perfectly fine. Ick's cup ended up smashing him on the head, making him not any less insane. Caelus received his coffee with a nod, sipping from it.
Ick glared at Caelus, looking as if he had just showered with coffee.
"Oh, relax. Heard coffee is good for your hair."
Caelus hid a grin as he pulled a lever situated on the panel. He waved a finger like a conductor's baton as screams began echoing in the Test Room as the helmets began connecting themselves to their host's mind, closing his eyes and smiling...almost as if he loved listening to the symphony of screams, frowning as he noticed that they were strangely high-pitched. He tapped a button and glanced at the screen. All of the test subjects were girls. Meh, too bad. He would've liked to test out the machine on a male specimen...
"Well. Good luck, girls. You'll beg for it soon enough."

The group awakes, finding themselves in the midst of an endless white plain..they were dressed in their same exact clothes that they had come into the lab with. More than one confused look is exchanged between the members of the group..
A tapping static noise alerts the group, the noise not unlike of a finger tapping a microphone to test it's volume. A deep voice of a man echoed
"Welcome to the Insanitorium. I am known as Caelus. You ladies may have figured out a few key points in that name which I obviously will not point out. You are currently on the Sanctuary Plains, the safest plane in the Nightmare. I will now offer you three choices..
Three shimmering portals flickered into existence and the group peered into their contents. Gate One reveals the scene of a Roman arena that ancient gladiators used to fight in. Gate Two shows a rather corrupted-looking village. The grass and buildings are an odd shade of purple and there is no life to be found.. Gate Three is the direct opposite, showcasing a green forest filled with life.
"There is only one decision to be made. All of you can only proceed into one gate. Staying in the Sanctuary Plains is fine, of course. If you want to meet Virus, that is."
The group can almost hear the wicked smile in Caelus' deep voice.

Well, it seems like there's already a decision to be made. Do you dare brave the fights in Rome? Or perhaps battle against corruption in that village? You could always go to the forest, though. It seemed peaceful. On the surface, that is.

Group Decision :
Dark Honor (Rome)
Corrupt Beliefs (Village)
Lust Gardens (Forest)

Make the call..

The pit of white Mission suddenly found herself in was highly oppressive. The girl's head swam about in the air like she was drunk on something, her breaths coming out short. She sniffled, opening her odd red eyes and letting her hands sink to the floor. She was on her knees. Sitting on...nothing. Nothing at all! But she did note her clothes were still present. And then a backlog of memories came back to mind and she recognized, just tangentially, what in the fuck could have been going on. She held her head, peeking up at the others with understandable nervousness. All girls. Was she in some kind of human trafficking ring? No, pardon me: the "Insanitorium" according to the voice which filled the relative blankess of where she was right now.

Of course she was bubbling with a variety of emotions right now -- mostly fear and rage -- but she contained them, instead loosing an inaudible growl and biting the inside of her cheek. Her youthful face crumpled with general malaise and she stood up shakily, relieved that she wasn't naked or some shit. She even had her headphones.

But they weren't hooked up to anything. Nice. They'd stolen her iPod while they were at it. Or perhaps wherever she was -- drug induced dream or some mad super science alternate dimension -- had a ban on them. For some reason that was incredibly significant to her. Music was always relaxing.

Then she was having her arm twisted by the unseen man. She had little idea of who or what "Virus" was but considering what he had presumably done so far (in fact, what she knew he'd done as she damn sure didn't get here by herself) it prickled enough unease in her mind to make her spout her choice immediately just after a cursory look at the three rifts in the white.

"The gladiator one." she announced sharply and inarticulately. She then looked around, suddenly a touch embarassed.

"Yeah, um..that one, I guess." she reaffirmed apologetically, shrinking a bit.

She tensed and surveyed around again, wary of those who drew close. There was a nice troupe of people here. Some fairly plain looking, others with weird blue and red hair. Was this a video game?

Henrietta stared into the blank space for a few seconds. Where were they? Where does the voice come from? What's going to happen? No really, what's going to happen? She glanced around the area, only to see the other girls. Where was this... Virus... That they were talking about? It certainly didn't sound nice. Not when they put it like that. She should have known it wasn't a legit job... But she hadn't actually gotten much of a choice at the time she accepted the job. Lack of money and all.

Oh well. Seems like she had to make a decision and fast. She got up from the ground, brushing off imaginary dust from herself, quickly checking her pockets if her dices were still there. Subconsciously biting her lower lip, she spoke up. “Why not The Corrupt village?”; She smiled faintly, the whole situation seeming confusing rather than scary to her. She had stared scary in the eye all her life after all. “The forest seems like an obvious trap, and the Rome thing would seem to involve a lot of our guts spilled all over the place. So I'd say that the village looks the best, even if it's a tad gray.”.

"I think that Rome would be the best choice," she said, "Also, if this is a nightmare, it's in our heads, right? I wonder if i can I create weapons or use magic or anything like that," she pondered, looking at the different portals, "All I know is that nothing corrupt is ever good."

(I'm not good at walls of text, is this good enough or do I actually need to be pretty descriptive? I'm asking what constitutes a post that won't get me kicked out XD)

"Gimme that! I wanna have a go!"
A childish voice cackled, the sounds of a small struggle erupting in the background. Sounds like this Caelus person didn't have total control over the Insanitorium..
"Heyheyhey! I'm Ick! You can call me Ick! What's that, Caelie? Oh? Launch Virus already? Sounds terrifyingly fun!"
There was a beeping sound emitted and the entire white expanse of the Sanctuary Plains turned a bloody red, the ground seeming to flicker beneath them.
"Not so safe now, is it? Better get on with the decisions, the rest of you. Virus hasn't eaten since his creation.."
There it was again, that evil smile in Caelus' voice. You get the feeling that you might wanna obey that little order, pronto. Standing on flickering blood-red ground isn't exactly an indicator of safety.

The Gate of Corrupt Beliefs shudders, a purple number 1 materializing into existence on top of the gate. A foul wind seems to blow through the gate at you, urging you to come closer..

You watch the Gate of Dark Honor shudder at see the golden 1 materialize on top of the gate, then you go forth and voice your opinion. The golden one shimmers briefly and turns into a 2. Unhuman warcries scream from the Gate, making the entire group think that the gladiators aren't human..

Miku's wakening form had been 'sitting' down on something, although there was nothing below her. Just, and endless plain made of white; just like a children's story book that depicted a land of dreams.. She stood up without wishes to fall down, giggling before beginning to walk around and doing a small twirl. However, the slight 'headphones' on her ears were making it a lot easier for her to hear a very quiet growl; coming from somewhere else, obviously not coming from her.

''Who's there?'' The grinning form of Miku asked while leaning on one leg, hands on her hips with her head tilted to one side, her cute and sweet Japanese accent showing up. Thus, suddenly a man with a deep voice began to speak; but from where?

Then one, two -- No, wait! Three portals blinked into existence just in front of her and the other girls around! What a dream! But, it seemed real.. She tried to pinch herself, but then blushed and squealed slightly thus even giving a slight jump!.. .. .. And, she didn't wake up.. What was going on..?

''~I'll choose the Roman Arena! It's exactly over there!'' Miku stated with a little smile, pointing an index finger towards the portal where the portal depicting a roman arena was currently. With that said, she offered a glance towards the other girls around her. She bit her lower lip, feeling a bit 'Older' as she was quite taller than before!

Ginny glances around, noting that the sound seems to come from...above them? Meh, whatever. If this is a "nightmare," then she'll be happy to dispel it...of course, how she treats the scientists afterwards depends on how they treat her...

In any case, she doesn't even need to think about her decision. "I'll take on your coliseum, thank you. Been itching to blow off some steam anyhow, after a rather 'cheeky' encounter on the way here." Yeah, some jackass had the cojones to grab her ass on the bus...then was stupid enough to try following her afterwards, and grab it again. Needless to say, what followed that went a little something like this.

Moving on, Ginny takes even more initiative than the other girls present, and actually steps up pretty much right in front of the portal, then looks back towards Mission, Nadine, and Miku, and says: "You two had better hurry, or there might be no more asses to kick by the time you get there." With that said, she steps into the portal, curious as to whether the opponents those two docs cooked up will be worthy, cracking her knuckles with an eager, toothy grin on her face.

(Feeling a bit sleepy, sorry...)

Luna looked around herself as she found herself in a room filled with white. Well... not exactly filled... there were others and also three gates... she heard the voices talk... what are they saying... why are they screaming at her? She sat down on the ground, wrapping her arms around her legs as she closed her eyes. It's just a dream... a nightmare..., she thought to herself. She heard the other girls speak with each others than with each other... What were they talking about? They have to choose? She looked over her arms slowly, seeing the other girls choosing ways to go... loud ways, gray ways..... than there was this calm garden... It seemed so nice, so lively... How can her dreams be that different... She was just walking to this test lap, was she... to try out something.... What did they give me this time... Why are this girls with me... are they real?.

Obviously still disoriented, she suddenly heard those voices again, another one... one that would haunt her dreams as it did than. Suddenly the walls dripped blood, turning into dark crimson, the ground flickering hungrily.... Luna blinked... That can't be real! That isn't real!, she blinked a few more times and noticed that the red wasn't exactly blood and the ground... it flickered... She jumped up, accidentally hitting the nearest girl as she did. She yelped in surprise... "S...Sorry....", she muttered, looking around quickly if the others might have noticed. She run away from the center of the room, walking towards the peaceful seeming garden... "I... I would like to go there...", she muttered, weakly patting her hand against the door leading to the Lust Garden.

Casadie pointed to the forest door angrily, she personally hated forests but it looked the safest and she wanted to go someplace calming because she needed to get some steam off her chest she paced around next to the door waiting to see if a number would appear

Miku saw the other young woman, Ginny step into the portal as she told them to better hurry; or else there wouldn't be no more 'asses' for them to kick. ''W-We're going to have to kick a-asses? W-What kind of arena is it then?'' She asked with a sheepish smile on her face, stepping along into the reaches of the portal.

Well, she seems nice.. And tough, for some odd reason. Could be wise to stick next to Ginny, in case of any real fighting happening! Right? ...

Mission huffed a sigh.

Now, just what in the hell was going on? This place reeked of scientific construct, but it felt more like a video game or some literal science-fiction stuff than...plausible reality. She almost wobbled back down to her knees, finding it hard to tolerate all of this. Well, at least some of the others had agreed this was generally a shitty sitch, but that didn't help Mission in the end. She rubbed her arms, adjusting her headphones. The floor shapeshfited to red beneath her. That must have been some half-hearted scare tactic, but she was eerily aware of some sets of eyes on her, like she was being watched from the most shadowy of corners in a dark alleyway.

"Bad idea..." she mouthed to herself. Not towards any suggestion or idea voiced by the others. Just at her own decision to come here. It hadn't seemed like a terrible idea on impulse, but in hindsight...well, actually, she felt a situation like this was implausible to begin with, so she didn't regret much at all. If anything she just got a little pissed off at having these circumstances forced on her.

She quickly stepped forward to the illuminated portal to the arena, expecting to be raped by a lightning bolt due to magic or something.

"So we just...step through...?" she asked nobody in particular, eyeing the portal suspiciously.

Caelus flipped the mic off, glaring at Ick. He had to snatch it back from him just then to speak again..
"You have your own mic, Ick. Use it."
He said stonily, his words falling on deaf ears. Ick was staring at the screen, absorbed in something.
"Caelie. Look that that. Those headphones..SO AWESOME!"
Ick said excitedly, jabbing a finger at Mission's headphones. Caelus looked too, but his attention wasn't on the headphones. Instead, his steely gray eyes were transfixed on Mission's face.
"Mission Sterling. Daughter of Ayr Sterling. Interesting."
Caelus smiled widely as he settled back in his chair. He and Ayr had once been partners for the battle AI that Ayr had patented and conveniently left Caelus out of the deal while he was on a business trip..well now, time for some..revenge on the next generation. He pulled up a holographic keyboard from the screen directly in front of him, tapping a bit of code into the Nightmare System..things would get a little nasty for Mission and friends soon..

Gate Of Dark Honor
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Gate shudders severely as if an earthquake was rocking it when the decision was made, with it being the next destination. An inhumane scream of joy erupted from the Gate itself as it burst into a fanfare of gold, the gleaming gold of the number 4 fading away as the group entered the portal. The other two Gates faded out of existence as Ginny stepped through first. The rest who hadn't chose Dark Honor would find themselves dragged by invisible hands into the Gate. Once everyone had entered, the Gate faded out of existence like the previous two..

DARK HONOR
Introducing the Armor System. Armor will keep you safe from Rape in combat, up to it's breaking point. The weapons are there so that you just don't have to suck off your enemy till they die.

Mission
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You get dragged by invisible hands and are dumped through the Gate for your hesitation as everyone steps through. Mission wakes up facedown in the sand of Dark Honor, the memories of her most glorious days missing..She is also dressed in a very feminine Roman Toga, covering up till her knees. You frantically look for your headphones and you find that that they taken on the color of golden chrome. Attached to your headphones is a wire of pure gold, connected to..some small golden harp that you could easily hold in both hands? Maybe you should strum it and find out..
Roman Toga and Gold Harp Equipped! (1/1) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Luna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Invisible hands grasp you and you try pulling at them, finding the effort useless as you are tossed through the Gate unceremoniously. Everything goes white and then you wake up on the sand of Dark Honor. You glance down and find yourself dressed in a revealing leather outfit. Your hands cradle a golden shortbow and on your back is a leather quiver bristling with the golden feathers of a dozen arrows. A short gold dagger hangs at your waist, attached to the leather belt that the outfit provides. Your memories of your most honorable and glorious days have seem to faded into forgetfulness..
Archer's Leathers, Golden Shortbow(Arrows: 12/12) and Dagger equipped! (2/2) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Ginny
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your vision whites out as you step into the Gate, memories of your most glorious days flashing through your mind as they are removed.. Your vision returns as you step out of the Gate onto the sand of Dark Honor. You find yourself dressed in a rather skimpy outfit of Roman Armor obviously patchworked together from the original male pieces. Ah well. Slut armor. The more it reveals, the more it protects, right? On your right hand you find a golden Cestus equipped.
Roman Armor and Cestus Equipped! (3/3) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Henrietta
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You didn't post too, and I'm feeling a bit annoyed. And thus a special platform panel ejects you flying into the Gate. Any memories of your glory days are wiped clean, and you wake up facefirst beside Mission, along with a mouthful of sand. You spit out the sand and look down at yourself, finding yourself dressed..rather oddly in a modern casino's bunny girl outfit. In your right hand is a broken in half Golden Greatsword. It would've been too heavy for you to lift with one hand in it's original state, but now you can easily swing it singlehandedly.
Bunny Girl Outfit and Broken Golden Greatsword Equipped! This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.(1/1)

Nadine
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You find yourself standing firmly upon the sand of Dark Honor, clothed in the same armor that Ginny and Casadie wear cause I'm lazy to think up of more armor types.. Your left hand is wrapped firmly around the hilt of a Roman Gladius colored gold. Your glasses feel extremely heavy and you pick them off your face to find that the frame has turned into a solid gold. In addition, you notice that you now have perfect 20 : 20 vision, eliminating the need of glasses if you wish so. Memories that you have deemed honorable seem to be missing..
Roman Armor and Gladius Equipped! (3/3) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Casadie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Invisible hands wrench you from your spot beside the Corrupt Beliefs Gate and unceremoniously dump you into the Gate Of Dark Honor. You white out as you pass through the Gate, waking up facefirst on Dark Honor's sand, beside Mission and Henrietta. You notice that your armor is exactly the same as Ginny's and Nadine's, though weapons are quite the different matter. A long golden spear glimmers in your hand and you find that you lack a few glorious memories..especially the one of clocking that boy a good one and putting him into a coma.
Roman Armor and Golden Spear Equipped! (3/3) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Miku
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You step in through the Gate, and the memories of your glory days are wiped down to a clean slate. Sand scrunches under your feet and you look down at yourself, finding yourself clothed in a long, flowing golden robe. A long-handled staff with a red glowing jewel at it's very tip is cradled in your hands. Maybe you should point it at something and see what it does?
Robe of Mages and Ruby Staff Equipped! (1/1) This number indicates how many times you can be protected by your armor.

Caelus' voice speaks once again. There was the audible sound of typing on the other side.
"Ah, sorry about the Bunny Girl outfit. Bug in the code. Also, you may have noticed you are missing a few memories..Win the stage and you get them back. If you lose..well. Game over. Sorry about that, ladies."
He apologized, but didn't exactly sound very sorry. Three men sat crosslegged on the other side of the Roman Coliseum and they get up and approach you as your entire group arrives. Their advance is fast and steady and soon they stand before you, sizing each of you up.
"Three of the greatest heroes in the crossing Greek and Roman histories..Perseus, Jason and Achilles..well. They don't look that scary as normal human beings, do they? Let's change that a little.."
The typing sounds on the mic abruptly stopped with a final tap to the keyboard, presumably to the Enter key. The three historical heroes fell to the ground, writhing in silent pain. The bodies stopped moving one by one..and then began mutating. The group watches on with sick horror as the previously human heroes mutate into giants, three times bigger than they last were. Bits of armor lay scattered on the floor where the three men had mutated, obviously being too small to fit them. Their faces were grotesque, nothing remaining of the once handsome vestiges of their human features. Tentacles sprout from their groin area, snaking around curiously as if trying to find something to wrap around or poke into.
The former heroes eye the female group hungrily and their massive cocks harden to a permanent erection..
A cool female voice alerts the group.
Nightmare Sequence, Activated.

STASIS
Introducing the AFK Penalty System. AFKers will go into Stasis, tuning out of the current world and receiving 30 Sanity Damage per turn. You will only receive this if you go AFK for more than three days and have not informed me of your sudden need to go AFK. Also, I get the chance to throw my own character in this thing!

"That one doesn't seem to be responding..that's not good."
Caelus murmured, glancing at a single female form(Jessica) standing on Dark Honor's arena. The figure was completely white and flickering as if there was some kind of error with it..
"Oh well. If she doesn't respond soon she'll go crazy anyway..Ick, go check on her?"
He glanced to Ick, whose red hair was still dripping coffee. Ick pouted and folded his arms stubbornly. Caelus' glare intensified, making him quail at the sight.
"Fine, fine! I'm going.."
Ick muttered, tapping a button. His own leather chair lowered into the ground and he disappeared momentarily, emerging from a trapdoor in the metal flooring of the Test Room. Caelus smiled at his friend on the screen as he flicked a switch on the panel. Metal restraints clamp around Ick's arms and legs, preventing him from getting up.
"Ehhh?! Caelie, wrong button! Wrong button! Lemme go! Can't check on Girlie here like this!"
Ick was surprisingly innocent, not even questioning why his own seat had restraints..
"Forget her, Ick. You know..I always wanted to test this out on an insane person.."
Caelus smiled coldly.. Screaming erupted in the Test Room as the metal full face helmet connected itself to Ick Igori..

"What a sadist," Nadine commented, leaving her glasses on for an unknown and likely to be revealed later reason. She spun the Gladius a few times, smiling, "Now this is a nice weapon. Alright everyone, remember that Achilles can only be killed by attacking his heel, which is actually probably easier for us to do now that he's a giant. The other two, well we just have to take them out the old fashioned way. Now, we need to have anyone with ranged weapons shoot, while most of us attack, and toga and bunny girl hide. No offense, but you aren't gonna be able to fight," she seemed to be quite calculating now, smiling and seeming to actually enjoy this.

After stepping through the portal, and her fondest memories are plucked right out of her brain, Ginny knows shit just got real; whatever she forgot, it was something VERY important to her, she knows that much. When her vision returns, she takes note of the skimpy Roman Armor and the golden Cestus she's now equipped with...well, not the best armament, but par for the course. She is a martial artist, after all. Still, she shoots a vicious glare up at the skies, as if to death-threaten the supervising scientists with her piercing eyes alone.

"Hmph. Whatever." Ginny scoffs angrily, marching forward into the coliseum itself. She bears witness to the mutation of the Greek heroes, and seeing how the others wanted to take out Achilles first, but noting that her only real weapon was a Cestus, she instead replies: "Alright then, have fun with Mr. Heel. I'll take Percy for a spin while you do." She then side-steps over to look the mutant Perseus right in the eyes. "By the way, is Medusa giving you a blowjob, or are you just happy to see me?" she taunts, while smirking and taking a classic CQC stance...

Her left hand is held forward, fingers bent like a claw, whereas her Cestus (right) hand is held back, balled into a fist. Her left foot is forward, toes pointed straight ahead, and calf positioned vertically straight. Her right foot is positioned with the heel beneath her right elbow, toes pointed out at roughly 45 degrees. This stance optimizes her ability to both evade/redirect oncoming strikes, and counter with strikes of her own. That's the key in martial arts: fooling your opponent into following your "dance," then striking them at their most vulnerable points. To that end, she lets Perseus make the first move, ready to react accordingly.

"You can't just take one of them on by yourself! We have a group, we need to be organized in our attacks. I know Greco-Roman mythology fairly well, so we need to remember each of their greatest weaknesses. Perseus was overconfident, Achilles can only be hurt at his heel, once again causing overconfidence, but for a different reason, and Jason was egotistical and manipulative. I have no idea how to use Jason's flaw against him, but we can't just rush into things, if we work together and stay organized, we can stay alive! We can't assume any of them will be an easy kill, we need to get a plan," said Nadine, hoping people would listen to a voice of reason and not rush into things. She imagined that it would be a good idea to try and lead them, or even get someone else to, as long as that person was sensible. She looked at the three ex-heroes, all from Greek mythology yet in a Roman arena, which she found to be somewhere between fitting and ironic. She adjusted her glasses, analyzing their movements and looking for ways to safely attack them.

Henrietta were used to handling crazy people from back in her casino days. Not that all the good memories of when she handled them remained, but, her gut made her feel like she may have an idea of how to get out of the situation.

You see, insane people tend to require unfair and insane solutions. Since it seems the goal for these two insane men is simply to play with them, and partially to play with them, there would likely be a puzzle or a random and unfair gamble to take somewhere nearby. Either that, or they really are sadists.

Why would she think of this? Because she still remembered all the times she tried to handle insane people and failed. Good times. Or not. Your call.

“You should try and group. And you're right, I can't fight with this damn bunny-suit..”; Even though it did make her feel like home to be wearing it. “I'll be looking around in the arena for something that we may use.”

Henrietta scouts the area. Looking for: Anything that looks like a code, a puzzle or remotely useful in her current situation.

Mission was too swept up by the commentary of the two men to really note that she was eating sand and her ass was sticking up in the air for a good few seconds. Sputtering, she quickly bounded to her feet. A warm wind blew over her body. It was strangely perceptible, so she took an inquisitive look around and noted she'd been somehow stripped and placed into an old toga of Roman design. Her jaw practically dropped, but it was held in place by the weight on her head. Her beloved headphones (who it seemed one man had a very keen fix on) had shapeshifted to solid gold.

Oh, and then there was a giant ass harp that'd teleported into her hands from the abyss.

She blinked, and what she'd heard one of the voices say rushed into her head like a flood. Okay, so now she was standing in a Coliseum, but...her father?

Uhm, what about him?

Shit, it felt like she forgot.

No, wait!

"Wait? My father? Is this...?" she gawked, voice trailing off. Caelus' words had taken her confusion to a whole new level. She'd admit there was a thousand ways for Caelus to know who she was, but she hadn't exactly given her life story to him...and she wasn't anywhere other in a few old newspaper articles. Something about his voice just seemed familiar, though. But the suspicion was distant and vague, and largely overrode by the sudden arrival of three grisly, giant mutations of ancient heroes (who she'd seen represented in art and sculptures, but sure as hell not this) across the arena. She looked down at her harp and compared it to the others' weapons. Her relative lack of clothing also sort of agreed with the idea that Caelus knew her father...and maybe wasn't on the most friendly terms. Dammit, why couldn't she remember, exactly? She usually chatted with her father a lot about his most major projects, whether at home or in the office.

Desperate to know her heavy and gold harp did something (she would have really liked to have her father's electrolaser gun he'd crafted for her to defend herself with...but she hadn't brought it here out of stupidity), she gave a few strings a taut, experimental pluck in the direction of the nearest beast, not too keen on wanting to get close to it. The others...not so much, it seemed. But Mission wasn't really scared or eager. She was just weirded out.
