The mansion of the crazy king. (IC)

The church had put up posters in all of the Keran empire, warning of their action against the mansion where the once old and crazy king had been killed. The poster was telling people to join their cause, and meet them in the suns light, sunday in that very week. Sadly, not as many volunteers from church organizations and civilians empire-wide showed up that day, for they were all too busy and too scared to do anything about the growing force of the mansions evil. Even then, it was far from all that were equally afraid. This small group of people were now standing in front of the terrible mansion, a sunny sunday morning. In total, 50 people from across the empire had shown up, some of them being church officials. As the clock stroke 8, a holy priest went up to give a speech.

"My dear god-fearing friends and allies of the god-fearing people! This is the time to eliminate the greatest evil ever to have been placed in the lands! Every seer ever walking by, any one with even the slightest potential to feel evil, have felt it come from this mansion. We have a reason to believe, that the mansion truly holds that, which is torturing our lands. Last year, the flowers didn't sprout near the mansion. This year, the fields near the mansion would only sprout with corruption. This is what made this necessary. This, is why we are here. To stop the growing darkness. To stop the growing evil. To eliminate, our possibly biggest spiritual enemy as of yet. Citizens of god! I assemble you, and I order you to eliminate the evil, once and for all!"
The people cheered for the priest, shouting different words in different directions. "All hail the king!" "All might to god!" were some of the words being spouted.
You, are in the middle of this fifty-man chaos. You learn soon after, that you're to be split into groups, who have to walk through the doors of the mansion at the same time. You are placed in a group of 4 people. All you have to do now, is to wait for the command to be given to your group. The rest of the groups are slowly seeping into the mansion, and suddenly, a scream erupts from within. People freeze.

You've gotten some time to talk to eachother before getting send inside. Use the time wisely.

Ronald stays silent as a priest unties his hands and leads him to the group. Ronald looks at other members of group, trying to see who is he ended up with.

"Whatsup, you god-fearing lot?" Asuka grinned, looking at her group. "Bunch of holy people and god worshippers, eh? Well thats just grand. don't get cocky and holyer-then-thou with me, and we're bound to get along. Name's Asuka, and i grow some of the fields around here."

One of your comrades didn't seem too energetic. Holding a staff in his hand, he simply just stared towards the others in his group until they spoke to him. "I-I won't..." He said to Asuka, trying to remain as neutral as possible.

Several groups were being led into the mansion now, and it seemed like it would soon be your turn.

Ronald could feel the strong spiritual presence miles away. It felt like was gravity twice as strong near the mansion, and the energy was dark and powerful. When he looked around, he realized he was the only one who felt the energy in this fashion. And it was like there was something strange about the energy... Something chaotic.

Ummm, i dont think we really want to go in there, not without an army at least. Roland says to Asuka, nervous and worried.

"Don't worry son, i'm your army right here!" Azuna grins, patting her chest in pride. "Lets get going already, i can't stand waiting for my own doom; if i want to die in some gruesome manner, then i want it to happen on my own terms. GET OUT OF MY WAY GUARDS, i'm coming through!" Azuna shouts, being a loudmouth like always, and tries dragging two of her companions inside; hoping the rest will follow soon enough

A priest tries to halt Azuna in her progress.
"Dear miss, we are still trying to assign some of the last people to some groups. I know eliminating the threat that is the mansion is a desired event, but you will have to be patient."
The priest holds Azuna back with both his arms.

The guy from earlier nervously fidgets forth and back. "I knew I shouldn't have come. We are all going to die! All of us!"
Another group moves through the door, your numbers starting to thin out.

If we are lucky. Something tells me there worst fates than death waiting us behind that door. I am telling you miss, we shouldnt go in there. Ronald says, trying to get free of Azuna's grasp but cant due to her superior strength.

"Oh, come on priest-guy! let us go in already, i can't stand waiting here fer nothing! Here, look" Azuna grins, holding up the hands of the two companions she brought along, "they're practically jumping in anticipation as well! can't you just let go of that divine neurotic tendency to smooth things up for just once and let us go in? just see it this way: if that demon or whatever it is gets little chunks of adventurers fed to it, it'll happily eat up. but one big enough bite might make get stuck in its throat and suffocates it!"

Ronald stares at Azuna like she is insane. Actually, she may very well be insane. He doubles his efforts of getting free of Azuna's grip and run away from this place.

[Gorbaz]

Rosie Winter, previously at the back of the large group, gets pointed in the direction of thee others, all up close to the doors of th mansion - two men, both seeming to be quite nervous, and a woman with alot of energy. Confidently walking up to the group, her dark eyes darted from one person to the next. "Excuse me, but is there some sort of problem here?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest

"Eh~ yeah, there is! This grumpy priest wont let us run in and meet up with our destiny yet! argh, i hate waiting" Azuma grumbled, looking the new woman up and down. "You seem strong enough though; think you can help me 'persuade' this old goat?

[Gorbaz]

"Maybe I can" she said and, walking up to the preist, looked into his eyes. "There is evil in there that needs to be smoten, and we are held back outside? Please. Enlighten me as to your reasoning for keeping us all out here."

[RavenLord]

Ronald gulped down as he saw a templar join them. He was basically a heretic to church, a convict. Only reason he was here instead of purging pyres was that church was desperate enough to take all the help they can get. He hoped templar wouldnt recognie hlm.

[TechScience]

Luis slowly walks up to the group holding his beads in one hand while having the staff in the other, as soon as he is in front of the them he does a small bow and smiles, he then simply follows the group.

The priest shakes his head with a sad expression on his face. "We're not the first to come here. But we do want to be the last. We're building proper teams right now, in order for our survival rates to increase. Also, some last-minute joiners are coming in, or so I've heard. The weather haven't been nice, so I don't blame them for being late. So please. Wait a while. It's gods will."
The priest nervously looks to the sides. "My grandfather went in there. I never saw him since. I don't want to see people randomly walking into their deaths."

[Rooiehaan #2]

"Gods will by shorts" Azura grumbled, but nevertheless taking a step back. "Just because your grandpa was a clutz doesn't mean were tied to the same fate. Ya hear! I won't have some lowsy evil spirit get the best of me! hahaha~!"

Then why you send people in? Why dont you just burn down the building and be done with it? Ronald says to priest, ignoring Azura.

[Gorbaz]

"Because evil cannot be purged simply by burning down it's place of residence. It must be excorsied from within, slain and thrown down, completely broken, before it's dwelling, too, can be destroyed" Rosie stated plainly at the question

"A nice bonfire's a good way to get the spirits up and the blood pumping before doing any purging though, so we shouldn't completely dismiss that thought" Azura grinned at the group. "Now hurry up with those new people, I WANT IN, dammit!"
