Night of the Starfall
The sky is dark with the cover of night as peace and silence reigns in the three Kingdoms. Gentle waves lap at the shores of Illian, sauna steam puffs into the air accross the springs of Ruben, a steady and sandy wind blows in through the arid Quiraj. At the epicenter of the great kingdoms is what is about to become a proving grounds. Although the stars shine brightly in the sky, something is falling. Some ancient celestial power, even older than the gods, is raining down from the heavens. Luis Silva, a rogue scholar from far away lands looks up in fright as something hurtles towards the ground before him. He is tossed back by the first impact as the blinding object forms a crater in the ground, the sounds to come are deafening to him as several other similar lights come pounding in the ground. Across all the kingdoms what sounds like cannon fire can be heard from the location, lasting only a few relatively alarming moments before returning to silenece. Clearly something major has occured. (pretend like the fourth newest kingdom is involved somehow too. Too lazy to go back and fix, no one will probably reread this anyways.)

Claire wakes up. She gets up and quickly runs to her mother's room. "Mother! Mother! Did you hear that noise?!" Claire shouted as she woke her up.

Lina starts walking to the office of her advisers.
Her clothing flows on the slight breeze her body moving though air creates.

While Suraru worked on some alchemy work in his steampunk home, Destina was bored and taking her random walks. While walking, she noticed in the distance the scene.
With nothing better to do, she decided to go investigate.

Ahriman, the Emperor of Quiraj was studying magic when the star fell. When he heard the sound, he calmy closed his spellbook. There was no way this was result of some other magical experiment as magical wards would prevent any sound if that was the case. This was indeed something more important. He calmly stood up, his thin shirt and pants were only things covering his well shaped form. He reached for his robe, adorned with sigils and runes, made from finest silk. It's base was white, trimmed with black. Crimson designs decorated the white base of his robe. Making a secondary base colour. Now ready, Ahriman left his personal chambers. Four royal Rubric guard saluted as their master left the room. Each one identical and giant, runes decorating golden surface of their armour. An eerie blue light glowed at slits of their visiors. Two of them started following him while other two remained behind, protecting Emperor's personal chambers. Ahriman slowly made his way for strategium where his trusted lords and advisors are waiting.

"I'll say, what is that ruckus? Pirates yet again, or something more of a threat this time?" Martrim, king of Illian, grumbled. He looked up from his maps and charts and looked around the room. A couple of sleepy guards sprung into attention, and a couple of advisers quickly hid their yawning behind a hand. Martrim had been leaning on the maps depicting the various trade routes of his merchant fleets as well as the very important location of several schools of fish, one of the main ingredients of any Illian dish. He pushed himself off the table and strode to one of the many windows supplying the fortress tower they were in with the much needed cool sea breeze to keep everyone awake. He leaned against the side of the massive stone window, and looked out to where the sound had come from. He had a perfect view over his capital city bearing the same name of his kingdom, and a marvelous view over the surrounding countryside as well. His father used to say that from here, everywhere the eye could see was under his control. This was true, but what his father forgot to mention was that the eye could only see half his empire from here; the other half, the half border-lining the other two nations, was shrouded in mystery if it wasn't for his dozen of self proclaimed 'warlords', heads of families given land and influence in trade of the vow to keep his borders secure. Every once in a while these heads would send letters about recent occurrences, and Martrim knew it wouldn't take long for any letters about that ominous sound to reach him. All he had to do is wait.
But as his advisers knew too well, Martrim hated waiting.
"Saddle the horses, at once!" He shouted to a servant, making the man hastily fly down the stairs and towards the stables. Martrim himself wrapped up the meeting rather quick, before heading down the stairs as well; to change his dressing gown into something a bit more... royal.

Ahriman, leading a part of Royal Rubricae Legion, numbering 50 rubric legionaire, makes way for the crash site. He is accompanied by his chief advisor who is also Head of inquisition and by his personal librarian, a slave girl, tatooed with magical runes and wearing dark blue robes. She looks around 16-17. Her elegant and thin form is covered under simple but quality silk. Her lovely face shadowed by her hood. Her green eyes reflected sadness, her black silky hair adding to her beauty. She silently follows her master, riding her horse close to her. Ahriman reins his horse down as he arrives to crash site.

Ahriman
It seems you are first to arrive on the scene, other than some unconscious man and random girl who's walked towards the crater. You can't imagine you'll be alone for long, however.
Destina
The light from the celestial object is indiscribable, you almost lose all yours senses simply gazing at it. There are obvious signs of memebers of the other kingdoms approaching, things are about to get serious here.

Ahriman orders his legions to secure the perimeter, forming a circle around the crash site. He then rides closer to crash site, with his retinue and personal royal guard. His acolytes ready their spells as Ahriman rides closer to crater to see whats in it as two of his royal guard move towards Destina to restrain her.

Oh shit I didn't hide fast enough?
Well fuck, these guards enslave people... Fuck. That.
Destina jumps into the object.

No, they dont. Their main purpose is to crush the enemies of Ahriman. Still Destina isnt counted as an enemy yet. Two Rubric Guards look at Destina.
