Apocoyptia - Episode 2 - Once more unto the wastes.

Continuing on from the events of Apocolyptia, the groups have encountered new allies in the wastes, and are ready to resume their mission for the recourses that the Haven requires. The question is, what way will they go, and what more dangers await?

[Goryokaku]

Mizuki laughed to herself as Yuuko had let go, and she got down to her own gun and looked down the scope, taking note of everything(Perception = 10, roll = 3 success)she spotted a man crouching, she pulled her PDA out and began to tap a message, -I’ve got you and Hurati covered for now, so don’t worry let me know the outcome of the situation we’ll wait here in case of trouble, also you've got another observer it seems.- She sent the message to both Hurati and Kit, she had not problems with keeping an eye on things from up here and she’d now lined up the new comer with her rifle keeping it aimed steadily at him. ”Keep an eye on the girl Yuuko, I don’t think she’s a threat but it’s best to be safe then sorry.”

Kit hears the beep and she looks down, then a thought hits her and she zooms up.
The vixen looks at the girl.
"You... aren't scared of me?" she asks, since she is a talking anthro fox. and normally people outside of the havens have never seen, or would assume evil, no? so why is this one easily talking with her in sight.

[Hurati]

Hurati pulled out his PDA and read the message, then looked up and around for them. Not seeing anything he looks back at Kit and the girl, "Why would she be afr- oh.... yeah right." Hurati looks around and scratches his head.

Yuuko nods, and aims at the girl. She pouted when she saw the girl talking to two others, probably Mizuki's friends, and sighed. She got out a cigarette and quickly looked around before lighting it and puffing. She looked at Mizuki, holding her run-down, worn and scavenged package of cigarettes absently. "So... What were we supposed to be doing again? Not shooting every slaver party we see right? Not that i like them or something, its just that i tend to give them a wide birth. Of course that wouldn't be necessarily now that i've got you and... Oh crabz, did i just say that? That sounded so wrong~ Ok, i'll stop talking now..." Yuuko muttered, blushing.

[Goryokaku]

Mizuki laughed, "Don't worry about that sounding wrong Yuuko, it certainly didn't sound wrong to me, but no we arn't actually here to shoot every slaver or radier we meet were looking for supplies for Haven, amongst other things, I have a seperate goal of looking for an entrance to a place just like Haven." Though Mizuki knew Yuuko wouldn't go and speak to the other on her own she couldn't help but wonder if Kit would catch the girl off guard if she wasn't careful and may accidently spill something top secret not that she minded, She would quite happily now tell Yuuko her real job and what she was if the girl asked her.

Yuuko kept muttering about the inappropriateness and how wrong it sounded, until she heard the words 'supplies' and paid attention once more. "So... You are on a mission for certain material for your cave? And you're looking for caves just like yours? Why, are you planning on raiding them?" She asked, glaring at Mizuki

[RavenLord]

Did some notice him? Could it be? Not yet but if he stayed there longer he was sure to be found out. A fear slowly gripped his heart. He unconciously gripped his pistol. He tried to calm himself and looked for a way out. Then suddenly Rothus stood up and dashed off.

Liana sided more to the girl then the guy. she'd seen witches before. Humans that sold their souls to animals long past or at least that's what the witch of her village told her.

"I, I... i'm not scared. I'd rath... rather ride with her." Liana said still scared of the two but the women seemed kinder and would offer a better chance of survival.

[Goryokaku]

Mizuki followed him running, it looked like he had something to hid and she didn't like that if he was a raider he may call in others to ambush her friends she began to track his movements with her rifle then squeezed the trigger, (small arms=20, roll=1, hit) Mizuki's shot hit the mans gun, sending it out of his hands, it was a clear enough warning shot and the sound of the shot alerted her companions. "I wonder why he chose to run, Yuuko?"

Kit nods.
"Come on girl... let's get out of here."
Suddenly she hears the shot and her head changes to that direction. She looks over, then nods.
"So, if I may ask, how many raiders were there?"
she asked, getting back onto her bike and waiting for her to get on to.
"Also, please... don't bite, okay?"

[Hurati]

Hurati drove his hand into his bag, withdrawing the LeMatt revolver when the shot rang out. He looked in the direction of the shot and calmed himself down when he realized that if it had been meant for them, it would have hit. He dropped the revolver in his bag and then stuck his tongue out at Kit, "Not my fault you had to do a wheelie." He nodded at the girl, "Alright then, just don't fall off." Hurati jumped into the humvee and started it, waiting for Kit and the girl.

[RavenLord]

Rothus looked as his pistol was shot away from his grasp. He quickly threw himself to the ground trying to take cover. He took his pipe rifle from his back and aimed down at the would be attacker. Then pulled the trigger. He knew his weapons range wasnt long enough but it would at least show them how serious he was.

(OOC: damn my slowness while watching TV. there goes my post and i have to edit mine.)
Hearing the gun shot Liana heard the shot and ran to the bike getting on and hugging on the the girl.
"Two. They were planning on meeting up with another group but that was two days travel on foot."

Kit nods.
"Hang on." She takes off, trying to get away from here, sure that Mizuki can take care of herself. and besides, she has someone to protect. She goes for a distance then slows and pulls over.

"There we go"
she puts the bike's kickstand down and gets off and looks her over.
"Say, what's your name? Mine's kit." She asks, looking her over to see what she's wearing.

Yuuko jumps when Mizuki suddenly fires, and almost swallows her cig. She coughs it up, luckily the ash only touching her lips. She licked her lips and spat, saying "Ow ow ow i burned my lip~" After a moment of pouting she remember Mizuki's question, and looked at the guy through her scope. "Beaten clothes... mask... on his own..." She struggled to find his gun, but in the end finds his piperifle. "Well look at that, he even has the same gun as i used to. Guess he's one of my people" She grinned. "A loner, struggling to survive on his own. I like him already. Well, he can still be mean, but i like his position... you know what i mean..." She said, blushing again. Suddenly the guy manages to fire on them and instinctively Yuuko fires pulls the trigger again, the impact hitting the rocks a foot in front of his face (rolled a 7) "Oh my god!" Yuuko squeaked, ducking the best she could. "Mizuki...?" She asked with a begging tone, hoping the girl had some sort of plan

Liana got off the bike still sorta scared of the witch.
"My name is liana Miss.Witch."

Liana is wearing a dress that looks brown with dirt and sand. it seems like the dress was a light gray before her enslavement.
she is wearing some ratty looking shoes no socks. She has nothing of worth.

[Hurati]

Hurati hears two more shots and decides to investigate. He lets kit and the girl drive off before driving towards the location of the shots. Hurati gets out of the car and starts looking around with his revolver drawn, moving stealthily, so much so that with the gunfire and concentration the person wouldn't hear him coming.

Kit awwws and takes off the jacket.
"Here... you can have this. "
She offers, and then blinks.
"Oh... I'm not a witch. Am I?" she asks, and tilts her head as her mind gets sidetracked.
"Maybe I am a witch, but I don't know it. I mean, I am sure I am not a witch, but maybe if I was one, that's what I would think, right?"
she looks at Liana.
"So, what are witches like?"

[Goryokaku]

Mizuki sighed it seems he didn't comprehend the first warning shot and he was obviously hostile, she aimed at his right leg taking her time but not squeezing the trigger. ”I hear what you’re saying Yuuko and I believe you but the problem is he ran away the moment the raiders were killed then instead of dropping down and waiting after I safely removed his gun from him, he decided to pull out his bigger gun and shoot back at us I’m just glad were out of his range otherwise I would have taken his leg right now then gone down and interrogated him myself. Anyway, hold back from taking anymore shot’s just keep your gun pointed at him and wait, if I shoot that would be a good indication of things going sour.”

Mizuki wasn’t going to lose sight of him to contact Hurati, she didn’t really want to put him in any danger but as he was going to investigate the least she could do was provide cover for him if things went bad.
