"CARTER!" Claire screamed as she saw him threaten Balthazar. "If you really consider me a problem..." Claire couldn't finish her sentence as she broke into tears.

Carter was about to scream when he saw something glowing off of Balthazar. ''I'm leaving! She's one of those two!'' He managed to run past her and sprinted for the door.

Balthazar grabbed him by the scruff and punched him as hard as she could. "You bastard you made her cry again..." Balthazar said glowing

Tekler, Balthazar's House

Carter gasped for a moment before being pulled, finding a glowing Balthazar infront of him, delivering a fatal blow into his stomach. He falled to his knees, coughing blood before looking up at Balthazar.

"Balthazar what did you do?!" Claire shouted as she ran towards Carter. She stepped outside naked, she had forgotten again and she also partially didn't care. "Carter are you okay?" Claire asked as she kneeled down next to him.

Tekler, Alley

The rain helped Carter's blood splatter against the ground, ignoring Claire's voice as his vision started to turn blurry, making him fall on one arm. ''Claire.. Forgive me..'' He slowly fell completely as his head fell softly on the wet ground.

"Carter no!" Claire screamed out. "Balthazar how could you?!" Claire asked her as she filled with rage.

Balthazar snapped out of her enraged trance. She stared at the damage she caused. "Oh my god... I-i didn't mean..." Balthazar was unable to finish her question before running off in to the rainstorm.

"Balthazar!" Claire shouted as she ran after her. She then ran back. "Carter..." Claire pulled him inside and put him under the covers. She then ran back outside and followed Balthazar. Claire had forgotten that she wasn't wearing clothes. "Balthazar!" Claire shouted out.

Apon entering the bathroom in the catacombs, Halina grabbed a few towels, and made a makeshift bed in the corner. Curling up there, she let herself drift slowly asleep

Ignoring Claire's scream Balthazar continued running. She ran as fast as she could taking the most difficult path around town to lose Claire. "Leave me alone!" Balthazar said. She started crying.

Claire continued to chase Balthazar. "Balthazar come back!" Claire shouted. Claire kept getting lost but she then heard Balthazar's crying so she got back on path. Finally Balthazar lost her. "Balthazar?" Claire shouted out. Claire started walking around. "Hello Balthazar?" Claire asked. Claire looked behind her. "I'm so lost..." Claire said while panting. "Balthazar!"

Balthazar heard Claire's last call for her name. She ran in to the nearest alley and stopped. She just sat there and cried fr the next 20 minutes. "i-...i... killed...Carter..." Balthazar kept thinking back to the moments when she saw Carter spit blood out and collapse.

"Balthazar!" Claire called out. "Please come out! I'm lost! I can't find my way back! And I'm er uh. You know!" Claire shouted.

Upon hearing these words Balthazar stopped her sobbing. "i can't let another person get hurt..."Balthazar thought. She got up and retraced her route back to Claire's position.

"Balthazar!" Claire shouted with joy. She ran up and hugged her. She quickly pulled away after the hug. "Oh um sorry." Claire said as she looked around to see where she was. "This neighborhood looks bad... We should get outta here quick" Claire said as she continued to look around.

THE BAD PART OF TEKLER
"I-I... didn't mean to hurt Carter... His behavior got me angry...i-I'm sorry..." Balthazar said. She hugged Claire back. "We should really go... this is the bad part of Tekler." Balthazar said and lead Claire back the way they ran.

Claire slips, as she is wearing no shoes, and hits the ground pretty hard. "Ow. Don't worry about Carter; he'll be fine." Claire said as she slowly got up. "I don't think I can run anymore." Claire said. "At least not as fast. I think I broke my arm" Claire said as she pointed to her arm. "FUCK!" Claire screamed out in pain. "Balthazar before you say anything; this was NOT your fault. I should have worn shoes, and while we're on that point, and clothes." Claire said as she struggled with the pain.

Balthazar carried Claire in her arms and went slowly back to the house. She stayed silent.

Claire looked up at Balthazar. "Balthazar... thanks. You could have left me back there to be raped or worst..." Claire said quietly. "I owe you one" Claire said with a smile.
