Legend of the Seven Swords - IC

Thousands of years ago, when the Continent of Alrosia was still young, The humans, Alrosians, were born. Instead of using their gifts that god has given them for good, they went their own ways, creating a vast empire in Central Alrosia made of Pure humans, pushing back and critizising the other races. The Elves were numerous then when forests were covering the land, but the Alrosians cut down the sacred trees to make room for their Race. The Lucres, a race on the other side of the forest, tried to settle with the Alrosians, come to an agreement. But they had none of it, calling the Lucres 'Alrosian Mutants.' The Saviants on their easten border were seen as nothing but pets, kidnapped and sold into slavery by the Alrosians. Then it happened....

Ships, hundreds of them, landed off the Eastern border with Orcs disembarking, darkness following their tracks, the Saviants, diplomats by heart and not warriors, tried to retreat to Lucra, but the Alrosians had none of it, turning them all into slaves and marched against the Orc threat to prove their superiority. They lost. The Orcs, numerous and in the tens of thousands, marched across the Saviant plains and into Alrosia, killing and raping all they come across, the Alrosians, fearing they will become no more, first turned to the Elves, but they pushed them away, unwilling to help their tormentors. When all hope seemed lost, they turned to the Lucres, but expected to be turned down.

The Lucres accepted their alliance.

On the plains of Firen, thousands of Alrosians and Lucres held their ground for 7 days straight against the onslaught of Orcs with casualties on both sides running high. The Lucres, though powerful at close quarters and one equaling a hundred orcs, were still too weak to push forwards. That was when 7 powerful mages, each wielding a different element, imbued 7 warriors with their powers, sacrificing themselves in the process. These warriors become known as the Elemental Swordsmen and helped lead the charge against the Orcs once more, with the combine elements raining down on them, fire coming out of the sky like rain, Lightning striking their hardest positions, Golems smashing into their ranks, Frozen spears stabbing through multiples of them, Dark Orbs of power possessing them and disintigrating them from the inside out, and the raised dead from the days of fighting coming back to life to fight once more, all of these helped turn the tide and the Orcs retreated back onto the Saviant plains, where they were broken into tribes. Victory was at hand, but it came at a price, 6 of the 7 swordsmen had died during the conflict and the last one vowed to carry their blades and placed them on alters throughout the Alrosian lands to show the Alrosians that Peace can be obtained through diplomacy. They became legends and tales. The 'Legend of the Seven Swordsmen.'

Now, in present times, the Darkness that threatened them before has come back, but not only in the form of Orcs, but something more sinister and unknown, the Alrosians had cut themselves off from everyone after all contact was lost with the Lucres, becoming their bitter, Racist, smug selves from before. And the only thing that can save the world now, is the swordsmen coming together once more. Finding the alters, the swordsmen have recovered the artifacts of old, the Blades of Elementa, and, one by one, the new Swordsmen come together, but there is one problem, the last Swordsmen, the fire element, is nowhere to be found....

Three of the Swordsmen, Mizuki, Mikami, and Kiwi were right outside the Alrosian capital, having made camp there and preparing to move out on what would be a day's walk on foot. Luis and Serena were inside the capital, waiting for those outside to join up, Claire was in her home, which was in the Capital, preparing herself for the long journey she and the others were going to embark on. The people around the capital didn't give the swordsmen a second glance since they were all Alrosians, Serena got a few looks, the people can tell a virgin anywhere, some where whispering and talking to each other, as if planning something before she and Luis got into the Inn and in their rooms. So far, nothing has gone their way, but nothing has gone South either

The fire was warm and comfortableand Mizuki was currently warming her hands by them, the Alrosian in the camp with her didn't seem to bad compared to most but Mizuki didn't trust any of them, the racial mistrust was to strong for her to willingly let her guard down around them. Though that wasn't the main reason she distrsuted them, it was an Alrosian who first discovered her usual ability, though he didn't live long enough to scream her sercet of immortality out to another soul. Mizuki deemed it important above anything else to not let a murder know that the victim he just killed had stood back up, and he was even more surprised when he'd looked down to discover his own sword coming through him.

Mizuki then looked at the Orc, she felt at lot more at ease with the Orc then she would willingly say to the others, after all the Orcs had put fear into Alrosians when they had done nothing but allow their mis-believe in their superiority causing them to enslave and mistreat the other sentient life forms.

Still she turned back to looking into the fire, the other members of this rag tag party were in the capital, Mizuki hadn't met them yet because she was an elf she wasn't to step foot in the Alrosians great capital not that she wanted to. But she wished they would hurry up the one thing they apparantly didn't have was time on their hands. Which Mizuki found the concept to be strange unfortunately for herself the one thing she did have was time... lots and lots of time.

"How long are they going to be? suerly you know your own way round this lump of rocks you call a city?" Mizuki didn't mean to sound angry but she didn't like waiting here.

A hand bursts from the ground, followed by its body:
Kiwi stretched his back, raising his hands on the air.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhaaaaa... Man, you woke me up... - Kiwi, covered in dirt, looks at Mizuki, - I was having my power nap.
Kiwi then starts shaking of the dirt from his clothes and hair and proceeds doing combat moves with an imaginary sword.
"I likez to be sharp so i can killz better... Get it? - Kiwi laughs a bit and then smiles at Mizuki - What?... Do elves not smile?

Completely ignoring the Alrosian's strange appearance, Mikami sighed.
''I dislike waiting as well'' she said, nodding at the elf in approval. ''can you give an estimate time of their arrival?''
It was wierd, sitting near a campfire with an elf and an Alrosian, near their city even. Yeah, sure, she had been there before, blinded by a red mist-like rage, doing just about everything she could regret about afterwards. But that was a long time ago, and the city looked a lot better now. A lot more friendly, and busy. She still wouldn't come near it again though, the memories of what she had done to the place were not something she enjoyed.

She crossed her feet, and leaned back, enjoying the warm glow. Since they had to wait for those other fragile Alrosians to come out of hiding, she had nothing else to do then to examine her... allies. She didn't like the sound of that word at all, it was not orc-like, but desperate times demanded desperate measures, even if it meant teaming up with those pesky Alrosians. Good for nothing if you'd ask her, but still; orders are orders.
The elf next to her was very small compared to her, and she looked really young. As a soldier, Mikami had heard stories about elves being able to live as long as an age, but if that was true or not she did not know. Looking at her shoulders and her outfit she didn't seem like much of a warrior. She wasn't even sure if the elf could fight at all. She might ahve her uses, but Mikami couldn't see any. Waiting and watching was never a strong point of any orc, but Mikami was regarded as one of the most analytic orcs of her tribe, and she honored that title. 'Time will tell' she told herself, then glared at the Alrosian.

The alrosian was a guy, but he seemed even weaker than the elf. No visible warrior traits at all; no big biceps, no broad chest, no strong jaw-line nor the look in is eyes as if he was constantly alert to danger. He even swung his imaginary sword like he had never touched a real one. At least the girl could be used as bait, but this guy? A nuisance at best, or at least that was what she could make of him at the moment. 'Time will tell' she thought again, then lied down, with her head resting in her hands, and looked up at the sky. Clouds were chasing the sun, which had nearly reached the end of the horizon, ready to take his daily dive.

"You want me to laugh at a fool of an Alrosian, prancing around like foolish drunk with his imagination in hand?" He didn't seem bad but honestly Mizuki couldn't trust him not yet, and the look from the Orc had intrigued Mizuki though she feigned ignorance she knew the Orcs were an war like race and the first thoughts probably going through the Orcs mind was probably what is a frail looking elf like her doing here.

Mizuki was glad she was was only imagining what was being thought if that was really the case she would have thrown her self onto Mikami weapon and showed her just how scary this little Elf can be. Though she did have a point how long were they going to take, she turned to the Alrosian.

"Kiwi, can you find out what's taking so long?" Mizuki sighed then looked closely at Kiwi, from his build she could tell he was made to be a mage, but he seemed to have delusions of being a warrior, he planned to go out right against what his body was capable of, she marked him down in her mind as the one to send in first if there was any trouble, if all went to plan his annoying prancing might be cut short.

Though the Orc wasa different story Mikami looked the very essence of a warrior, but then most Orcs did, it was just Mikami seemed different, it didn't look like she let her instincts for fightig control her like she had a brain somewhere in that head of her's Mizuki had heard of Orcs who thought first attacked second but they were rare and inbetween, at least they were the ones who didn't leave the Orcish cities often, unfortunately or the Orcs it was the rather strong and stupid ones that left and established a reputation for their kind. It's struck a nerve soemwhat in Mizuki and she realised she was letting her Elvish racism cloud her views of her companions.

"...You insult me and then ask me for a favor?... - Kiwi replied Mizuki - "Foolish drunk with his imagination in hand?" Do you know who i am? Of what i am capable? Of how important this imaginary training is?...
Kiwi stood still looking at Mizumi with a serious face.
"Nah, I'm just kidding! - Kiwi laughs - You are so right! Look at me, i look like a kid, all covered in dirt and playing around with imaginary swords and monsters... I shouldn't be doing this. It's just that there isn't anything better to do, besides zombie-like staring at the fire. Gosh... Stuck with an elf and an Orc with no sense of humor whatsoever.

Kiwi got down and picked up a bunch of dirty:
"I'm gonna throw this at your face!... - Kiwi looks at Mizumi with a silly look. - Nah.. I'm kidding again.. Seriously! Mellow out, you're too stiff to actually laugh!"
Kiwi molds the dirty into a tiny little Golem:
"-Hey little buddy, go and find our friends!"
The Tiny Golem quicly starts running with its tiny feet into the city's entrance.

"Ok, i did what you ask, my fair elven maiden. Can i at least get a smile? A "Hurray, Kiwi!"? Something? Anything? - asks Kiwi looking at both his companions.

''i wonder if that little puppet of yours will even see the entrance to the city. chances are it will be stepped on'' Mikami muttered absently as she watched the little puppet run towards the city's entrance in the diminishing light. The shadow it cast was taller then the golem itself, but still it might easily be overlooked in a city as busy as this one.

She sighed, and closed her eyes. Orcs were trained since birth to adapt to all environments, so sleeping on a hard rock was no hard task for her. Suddenly she cracked a smile, thinking back a the face the guy made just a second ago.
''Really though, i would love to see you holding a real sword. You do not seem like the warrior to me, but to wield one of the Swords you ought to be. On that note, that goes for you too, girl'' she ended saying to Mizuki.

Serena had noticed the countless eyes watching her. She knew what they were thinking, they thought she was relying on Luis for protection, so that they could try their luck with her as soon as he was gone. The inn seemed a lot friendlier, although that could just be that it was trying to lure her into a false sense of security. She walked into her room. You could tell that it was a commoners room, plain and simple. She couldn't wait to get out of here.

She began to wonder what the day had in store for her. While she was confident on her own skills, she knew she wouldn't be able to take on everything by herself, and she also knew that she'd have to be careful on who she trusted. From what she had heard, there was an Orc going on the journey with them... and she hated Orcs.

She turned to Luis, with a cold look in her eye, saying "They can look all they like, they touch me and it'll be the last thing they do touch." While she acted coldly towards him, he actually seemed like quite a nice person with a decent amount of moral fiber. However, she'd have to wait and see what his motives truly turn out to be. "How long are we meant to wait here anyway, I'm getting bored. I HATE being bored."

While Luis was hearing Serena he started to laugh at her comments Luis says with a smile on his face "Well your a cold one." Luis then sits down "Well we have to wait for as long as they take is it true do we really have to work with a orc and a elf?" Luis then starts to have a preoccupied expression knowing that elves, orcs and alrosian's really didn't get along.

She stares of the window to the street below, "I heard the same thing, but there's no way I'm working for them. If anything, they'll be working for me..." Serena was gifted in the ability to break peoples minds, and she loved it. Being able to control people had its advantages, and is probably the only reason she's still a virgin. "I can't believe that none of us have heard what has happened to the last swordsman. Let us pray they'll be on our side when we meet them. That is, if they're still alive."

"Working for you?" Luis laughs once more "I don't like the idea of working with a Elf and a Orc either but I really don't see how you'll make them work for you we are all free souls am I not correct?" Luis then looks at Serena "Hmm I am getting hungry..." Luis looks around "O right were in a Inn." Luis smiles "Want me to get you something? because I'm going to get some food..."

Not long after, A man walked up to the two, he seemed a bit paranoid, "Are you two the swordsmen that I've heard about?" He asked them, looking around slowly. "I have the information you need, that one of you had requested." He handed them a folded paper and left, "You never seen me, you never met me." He told them and disappeared in the crowd.

Luis looks at Serena "I didn't ask any paper and from your expression I have reason to believe that you didn't either." Luis then slowly unfolds the paper and starts to read it.

The little dirt Golem makes its way into the city, trying to avoid all the people around it in fear of being squished by someone's foot. It heads to the city Inn and explores the surrounding area, entering the Inn. Nobody seems to notice it, and it just passes by quickly in direction of the Inn's guest rooms. He then sees Luis and Serena talking to a man, staying still in its position waiting for them to notice it.

The man noticed the Golem on his way out and smiled, he murmured something, aiming a finger at it and the golem explodes into dust and dirt again before walking out of the building, indicating there was more to this person that one realizes.

The paper read that the Fire Element, Garian was his name, was being held in the lowest levels of the Prison for several accounts of murder, not a scratch on him. It also says that, when he was taken in, he killed 6 of the 9 guards that grabbed for him, meaning he was much stronger too and must be kept under watch.

Kiwi stops poking the hole of ants that he saw on the ground with a stick.
"Well, fuck me silly..."
He then turns to Mizuki and Mikami:
"Hey, funny story... You know that Golem i just sent to find our friends?... - He waits for a response only getting cold stares - Yeah... Someone or something destroyed it... Most likely someone or something with powerful magic... Golems do not die with common weapons... They just get... Deformed... ANYWAY! Yeah... I don't know, what do you guys think we should do? "

Serena read the note after Luis, and said "Well, we can't do anything until the rest of us get here, and even when they do, we don't have a plan." which as she said this, was already formulating one. "Although I'm starting to get really impatient. These other 'swordsmen' definitely aren't good at time-keeping." Serena looked up from the note to see a strange little golem, that was staring right at them, when he suddenly exploded into dust. She then watched the strange figure that had given the note to them walk off casually as if nothing had happened.
