Warpland Fantasy

So far it seems the fight goes in their favor, Nova managing to keep the big one at bay for about half a minute or so while Bean and Vale deal with the smaller regular boars. She watches as in the corner of her eye Vale manages to skewer one boar, the beast basically killing itself on her spear. Meanwhile Bean show whatever reason seemed to be riding the other one, laughing almost manically as she stabs at it with her spear in an almost playful fashion. It made her look more then a little sadistic in the heat of the moment, but Nova had no time to dwell on that. The large beast finally charges, and she manages to do side step like it was a bull and she a matador, those mutant arms coming painfully close. As it goes by though she ducks and swings, managing to get a deep cut to both it's right legs. The creature huffs, limping around a tree, appearing like it wasn't in any state to be doing any more running. It was best to not make any assumptions however.

"Bean, stop playing with your food please!", Nova yells out, urging the smaller but surprisingly powerful girl to finish the boar off so they could all focus on this one.

With Vale available now they had a much better chance. "Try to get behind it! It's right side is weak, and one of us should get a clean chance to strike if we can keep it's attention split two ways!", Nova yells out, strafing to the right with her sword in one hand trying to get back toward her earlier thrown spear. If it keeps her attention on her, Nova hopes that by forcing it to turn right it would exhaust itself faster by constantly putting weight on it's weakened legs. Once she found a suitable opening though, Nova would try to move in and stab the large boar fully on her sword.(bid: 1 physical)

[Soru]

Just as Scarlet was calming herself and trying to figure out her situation she felt canine legs around her waist. Was... Was this dog mounting her?! "H-Hey, wh-what are you doing?!" She shouts at the dog as she starts to panic a bit while it felt like the canine was starting to hump her. Though suddenly she felt a hand on her and suddenly she felt herself being pulled out, a strong enough tug from both the dog and the hand was enough to pull her out and make the barrel fall off. "Whew... finally... Oh hey Kayin." She greets Kayin while blushing slightly before looking at the dog, unsure if he actually was trying to help her or mate with her instead.

"Found a trap door here and wanted to see what was inside but somehow a barrel fell on it and trapped me." She said as she helps open it. "Maybe we can make a torch? Or maybe there's a light down there?" Scarlet suggests as she tries to see if she can safely make her way down into whatever this trapdoor led to.

[Lazy Kitsune]

Pulling her spear free from the beast before her with a few heavy heaves, Vale grimaces at the gruesome sight for a moment before turning her attention to the rest of the fight. Bean seemed to be enjoying this turn of events, though that almost wasn't even surprising all things considered. At the very least she seemed to have the upper hand on the boar she was up against. Hearing Nova call out to her, she shifts her focus and nods. The larger boar obviously wasn't going to go down as easily as this smaller one, but with a combined effort they should be able to do this, especially if Nova continues to hold its focus.

Following Nova's instructions, Vale moves quickly, trying to get behind the rampaging beast to try and attack it from behind. Much like with the smaller one, she didn't consider anything less than her full effort to be enough to put into this.

Town

The mottled brown dog sits on his butt now that the commotion is over and gives a soft woof as he watches the two and pants. Kayin and Scarlet get the door open more easily together and a fairly well preserved wooden staircase is clearly visible going down. With the door propped open, the amount of light streaming in from the sunny day appears to be enough to illuminate the room. A cursory investigation reveals this place to be something between a storage cellar and alchemy lab. There are casks set up that are still solid and intake and appear to have not been moved in years and cobwebs are scattered all over. In the center of the subterranean room there is a roughly-hewn station with arcane symbols etched into the floor and a stone table carrying glass vials and warped looking ingredients.

Nova appears to be successfully wearing down the big beast as she continues to strafe around it and clash with the tusks and arms. Meanwhile Vale charges straight into the thing much like with the other bear and slams her spear deep into the monster's neck, right before getting an elbow to the face and then grabbed by the neck with an oversized green muscular arm. Seeing an opening, Nova dives in and splits its neck wide open before it swings it's head back and misses her with a similar counter. The boar slowly falls to its knees on the injured side. At this rate the boar will probably bleed out where everyone can keep a safe distance, except for the fact of Vale currently being throttled by a big beefy hand. Before Nova can decide on her next approach, however, a dark figure leaps from the bushes and claws Vale free with a massive swipe. A figure that closely resembles Bean's face and body type, though is now half a foot taller and sporting short black fur all over her body, anthro bat ears, and two deadly looking claws. Beans eyes have also turned a crimson red and she pries Vale as she giggles in a husky voice, "Best watch your neck, now~" She doesn't appear to have yet fully turned and become aggressive as did before, but there's definitely a wild hunger in her eyes right now. It's unclear if she's fully aware of herself as she looks over towards the dying boar and licks her lips with an elongated tongue.

Town

Kayin glances to the dog, tempted to try connecting to its mind as well, but for the moment focuses on this reality. With their seeming to be enough natural light flowing in, she steps on down and begins looking about the room, her interest growing by the moment as she finds what she can only think of as some sort of alchemical laboratory. "This is like, a secret witch's or warlock's lab in a fantasy book!" She exclaims with a mixture of excitement and wariness.

She is soon moving over to the stone table, glancing about at the various ingredients before she decides to start looking more for anything that could be considered as notes, letters, anything that might give an idea who was using this place and for what. Or even instructions on things to make, she wasn't too picky at the moment.

[Soru]

Scarlet looks at the dog for a moment before giving him a few light pats on the head before going down the wooden staircase and into what seems like a cellar and a lab of sorts. Scarlet goes over to the casks, wondering what might be inside of them. "Think there might be wine in these things?" She asked Kayin though she seemed to be rather busy with the lab. Scarlet walks around, trying to find anything that seemed important or useful while Kayin tries to figure out the alchemy stuff.

[Taria]

Town

It is hard to determine what is useful or not down here, being as esoteric as it is. There are some basically utensils like a mug, plate, fork, bowl, that suggest perhaps someone would spend long hours or take their meals down here for whatever reason, but there don't appear to be any notes on what was being done down here or how to complete the processes. Now that everyone is looking around, In the far back of the cellar there does appears to be a rather large hole, the beginnings of a tunnel maybe, but the entrance is torso height off the ground and would require someone crawling into to investigate.

[Kuragari]

"Hmm... there's not enough for me to piece anything together here." Kayin said with a frown after a few minutes of looking over the various things on the table. "I could possibly figure out how to use the equipment down here itself eventually, but alot of it would be just experimenting and seeing what happens..."

As she glances about again, she blinks when she spots the hole. Moving around the table and over to it, she hums as she says, "This might lead somewhere. Though it'll require crawling..." Humming in thought, she drops down to all fours as she says, "I'm up for taking a quick look at least. Do ya wanna stay here and keep an eye on the room or follow after?"

[Soru]

"You sure you rather not let me go through first? I'm sort of... good at getting through tight places." Scarlet says to Kayin as the other girl was already getting into the hole. "But might be best for both of us to go through incase there something dangerous. I'll let you go first though if you want. I'll help you up into it though if you do go first."

[Kuragari]

"I don't mind going through first... Need to be at least a little bit daring if I'm going to make it out here, aren't I?" Kayin replies with a smile, going ahead and starting to crawl through. She adds, "Should make sure we keep a bit of space, in case we need to try and quickly turn around for any reason."

[Soru]

"I suppose but just be careful. We have no idea what could be on the other side." Scarlet said as she helped Kayin into the hole. "Once you're on the other side I'll crawl through but if you see anything that might be dangerous come back."

Vale and Nova do a good job at wearing the beast down for a minute or so before Vale takes a window drive her bear into the beast deep. The mutant boar however grabs her by the neck with one of it's extra human like arms! With it's attention on her Nova rushes in to assist, thrusting her blade into the beasts neck, tip poking out the other side before she pushes down, slicing it's neck open in a spray of bright crimson. Despite the mortal wound however it seems the beast is not willing to die without putting up as much a fight as it could. It tries to grab Nova, but Nova sees it coming, her gladiator experience serving her well having seem both animal, monster, and man do many the same thing before. She leans back and avoids the arm by a scant inch, then waits for the beast to lose strength. She doesn't have to wait overly long luckily, the creature soon going down, it's grip seemingly to slack on Vale's neck.

Still it's grip seems surprisingly stubborn. Nova moves to help, but barely takes a step before a new dark figure and pulls Vale free. Nova grits her teeth and raises her sword, but as she looks more she quickly realizes that the changed figure was bean. It seemed the excitement had made her shift back to her other form, a supposedly independent minded creature according to Kayin earlier ventures with telepathy, but they seem to be blended together currently. The changed form of Bean holds Vale close, watching the giant green mutant boar with a sparkle of delight in her eyes.

Recalling an early conversation with Bean after she first woke up, Nova remembered Bean saying that getting excited caused her to change. At the time Nova had believed that meant sexual excitement, but given how Nova and Kayin had turned Bean into her human form by, well, having sex with this other warp tainted form it was possible that she had interpreted the situation wrong. Well, whatever the case was all Nova did know was that she felt a strange attachment to Bean and wanted to help her, and was hoping that maybe she might be able to calm the girl down before she finished transforming. The boar beast dealt with she drops her sword and gives the thing a wide berth, approaching Bean slowly. "Hey you. Good job with that other boar!", Nova says in a sweet voice. "Looks like we don't even need to go to the river or cave with a couple of boars we can eat eh? What do you say we take the two regular boars back to the town and cook up bacon?", Nova adds. If she could she's approach Bean from behind and give her a gentle hug, hoping to calm her down.

Vale's sense of triumph at piercing the boar's hide with her spear was short lives as she soon found herself knocked off balance by one of the creature's freakish arms and then grabbed by her neck all in the same motion. Hefted aloft, she struggles futilely in the beast's grip. While it seemed between her and Nova the beast was now wounded enough to die on its own, that was little comfort to Vale as she felt her consciousness getting chocked out of her with each passing moment.

Rescue comes swiftly enough, however, and in the relieved moments that Vale savours as she gasps deeply of the air around her, she's too focused on being grateful to be alive to notice the appearance of her rescuer. Though when Bean speaks to her, she refocuses, her feeling of safety vanishing all too quickly. She hadn't seen Bean transformed before, but from what she had heard from the others this was a very bad sign. If she was losing herself, she could be far more dangerous than the boar they just fought.

Given her recent ordeal, Vale couldn't force words too quickly from her throat. She reaches up with one hand to massage at her neck to try and ease the aching. Nova fortunately seemed quick to act to try and calm Bean down. The two of them seemed to have some sort of connection, so Vale was hopeful it would work. Not being as familiar with Bean, she decided once more to follow Nova's lead.

"Thankyou, Bean." she manages to whisper out once her throat recovered enough, her voice still a little husky from her recent ordeal. She reaches up and strokes Bean's shoulder, trying to match the sweetness and calming approach Nova was going with. "I think we're all safe now. Nova's right, we should probably head back now. Don't want to leave the others waiting too long."

Town Cellar?

Scarlet helps Kayin up into the elevated hole and Kayin starts crawling through to the other side. Through the space this deep it is bitch black and Kayin is only able to navigate via touch. The area that she is in starts out incredibly cramped as she is just barely able to squeeze in, but as she goes further inside it feels like there is becoming more and more room, within a just few feet she's able to fully stand up and judging by the distances between the walls, this must be some sort of large, cavernous tunnel system. It's hard to immediately determine how they could have been made.

Meanwhile from Scarlet's end things also seem strange. She is able to help Kayin up into the hole easily enough, and soon the other woman's body is completely obscured by darkness, which is expected with being underground. However, the strangest part seems to be how quickly the sound of Kayin's movements fade out. It is as if somehow her body had moved incredibly far away in such a short span that she can't even really hear her movements anymore. Did she fully disappear?

Bean smiles as the adrenaline subsides and her body even appears to shrink ever so slightly. She seems casual and comfortable with Nova as she comes and hugs her from behind. "Aww, I want to try taking some bites out of the big green one!" She says with a hint of mischief. Nonetheless she relents and seems to take it upon herself to start picking up the slain prey. When Vale reaches out to be similarly try to soothe the anthro girl, Bean snaps her head around sharply and her red eyes twinkle with a captivating predatory gleam as she stares down Vale. "Hey, you can thank me by rubbing me down all over when we get back, yeah?" The words come out much more like an order than a question, and for a brief moment Vale feels something trying to pierce into her head, but then Bean goes back to lugging the two dead boar and the feeling subsides leaving no lasting compulsions. "Alright, it'll probably be fastest if I carry the heavy stuff. Can someone Hold on to my spear? We don't really have straps for our gear yet, maybe we can use some of this hide on that."

Although still partially transformed, Bean's personality has shifted back to something more familiar as she walks with the others.

[Kuragari]

"Really wish we had that flashlight..." Kayin mumbles as she continues on into the darkness. Or some form of magic that'd let her make a glowing light at least. She's not sure there'd be enough room for a torch in these kind of cramped quarters. Still, as she feels things widening, she hums and looks about, though she's not really able to see anything. "Alright I'm through!" She calls back down the tunnel, before deciding to try something. She tries to focus, briefly, on here telepathic abilities, curious to see if it would reveal anything of note from a cursory check. And well, she was also curious if this space was also still part of Torbin Town.

"Oh you'll be getting plenty of boar bites alright. Should be enough meat on those two to feed us for a couple weeks if we're smart about it!", Nova says, letting Bean go as she goes about dragging the two boars together so she can carry them. Curiously though she doesn't seem to be changing back to her smaller form, but seemed sort of... stuck between her two forms. Nova found this a little disconcerting, especially when Bean suddenly requests a rub down from Vale as a thank you. Her tone is aggressive, the half bat girl seeming to stare Vale down briefly, but then goes back to picking up the boars. Nova eyes narrow a little at this... she'd need to keep an eye on Bean, and hoped that maybe as the adrenaline of battle wore off she might change back to normal.

If she remained the way she was though. Well... Nova did know one thing that had calmed Bean down back when she sprung from that random sarcophagus. Bean had blushed when told this, preferring not to hear details as she was worried the lewd details would excite her and make her change back. Perhaps though the excitement of battle triggered it and sexual satisfaction was what kept the beast within her at bay? It seemed a preposterous notion, but then again... warp lands gonna warp land.

Turning to Vale she makes sure the other woman is okay, helping her to her feet if she was willing to accept assistance. "You alright? Can you breath okay? No pressure if you need a moment.", Nova says to her, before smiling and patting her on the arm though. "You did great though! Good thrust. Not your fault it had a mutant arm naturally. Just bad luck.", she adds, before turning back to Bean.

"I'll take your spear Bean. Once we get back I'll also show you were I got the spears from. There was all sorts of stuff in there. Maybe we can find another belt in there so you can have a sword too? Plus some daggers or knives will be good for getting the meat.", Nova says, doing her best to make Bean focus on her and the notion of getting some food. Nova also takes in Bean's state of dress since with this half change of hers, wondering if her grass skirt and cloth wrappings over her chest were still intact.

[Lazy Kitsune]

Vale took a step back from Bean's sudden turn. The look in her eye and the way she spoke to her was enough on its own to put Vale on edge, but feeling that strange sensation in her head brought it to a new level of danger. Was that something that Bean did on instinct alone, or was she genuinely considering - or perhaps even briefly attempting - to... what... mentally subdue Vale into being her sex toy. Fortunately she didn't seem inclined to press the issue, so it could have possibly been unintentional, but that wasn't much to help with easing Vale's nerves.

"I'm okay. Bit sore, but I feel like I'm recovering already." she says with a sigh and faint smile as Nova comes over to check on her. She tries to shake off bits of boar from her spear in away that kept any tainted blood from getting on her or Nova before leaning in again to speak in a hushed tone. "When she was... different... the last time... what was it like when she tried to mentally influence you? I think she just tried to do something to my head, but I don't know if she was aware of it or not."

Through the woods

With her modest size increase, Bean's clothes still just barely manage to remain hanging on. The cloth wrappings over he chest have torn on one side, exposing the top half of her breast and her cleavage. Meanwhile her grass skirt has been stretched taught, squeezes against her hips and ass with the bottom of her butt sticking out. With the skirt so hiked up, nothing is left to the imagination when it comes to her muscular and, as of right now, fuzzy thighs.

Bean takes point leaving the other two to exchange words as they make their way back, the path to return looking more familiar as they acclimate to exploring these woods. It looks like they could make it back to the abandoned town by noon at this rate. Now that the adrenaline of battle has worn off; it seems Bean may be somewhat more aware of the changes with her body as she glances over herself in concern, but declines to vocalize anything. At one point Bean glances over her shoulder and catches Nova sizing her up, which causes her to biting down on her lip somewhat demurely before she looks back forward and jogs ahead to add a more distance between them.

There only creatures still around seem to only be the occasional small critters, and with Bean carrying the heavy things, Nova and Vale are able to make the journey in relative peace and calm.

[Soru]

"If you see anything dangerous turn back right away; you don't have a weapon so just be careful." Scarlet calls to Kayin as the other girl crawls through the hole. It was only moments before it was too dark for Scarlet to see Kayin anymore, but considering the lack of lighting she didn't think anything of it. However she then realizes something; the sounds of Kayin were quickly fading away, as if getting really far away. "K-Kayin? Can you hear me?" She calls into the hole while putting her head in trying to listen for the girl. She debates going after but wonders if she shouldn't find something to create light first.

Town Cellar

Kayin stop and focuses on her mental abilities, sensing the presence of some critter there with her in the dark, probably just some bug. But as Kayin is working on probing further, she suddenly hears Scarlett’s voice booming through the tunnel, loud enough to shake her whole body.

K-Kayin? Can you hear me?

After the loud call, another sound can be heard, a shuffling clicking noise that sends shivers down Kayin’s spine. A distinct set of 8 foot falls begins charging towards her. A spider larger than the size of a horse goes racing over her head and she gets splashed with a sickly sweet smelling liquid. While Kayin was able to avoid any direct patch injury with the attempted tackle, the spitting fluid that followed up after is making her entire arm sting and then fell feverishly warm.
