Wagon wreckage...tangly undergrowth...shrubbery just under the height of two humans...yeah, this looks like a good place. Still doing her best to try and get the hang of telepathic communications, Jenny sends a reply to the big boy in the sky: (Alright, I think I found a good spot. I've got your book, safe and sound. Try not to keep a girl waiting, eh?) The humor in her reply is another way to try and ease tensions; sure, she's never tried that social tactic with a gargoyle before, but if he speaks her own language so fluently, it should get across, right?
While waiting for her...partner in crime "contact," Jenny starts pondering the many possibilities for when he arrives. There's no real guarantee he won't attack her once he gets his book back, though from what she's noticed so far, he seems to be a decent enough guy. That said, if things go sour, the gargoyle would certainly have a tactical advantage; unlike a human such as herself, he has the power of flight, making the nearby broken-down wagons little more than momentary cover-pieces from any projectile spells. Sustained close-range combat wouldn't work out too well, either; gargoyles have claws, and their stony bodies are much sturdier than the flesh and blood of her own. If running isn't an option, her best bet would be using hit-and-run tactics, though she'd wind up having to use Luna Katti a lot even with that, considering the general result of shooting an arrow at solid rock. Definitely an uphill battle, no matter how you look at it.
Of course, that's all assuming he even attacks her in the first place. He's made a rather good impression so far, and she's hoping he doesn't plan to compromise that now...
