The Survivors - IC

David checked the bodies of the two men that the gunmen killed. They had giant holes in their chest. They were killed by high caliber rounds. One each by what he sees. He also noticed that they were giving off the stench he smelled before. "Well that explains the smell." he thought. "I should have a look around." he got to the back of the tool shop and started checking around for things seemingly out of the ordinary.

Tool shop - 11:00

Time ticks away as you look in the shop, the buzzing sound can no longer be heard by anyone. Any attempts at searching will find the basic tools needed but you realise to find more specialised tools you may have to spend more time look, (Salvage find check - I'll let people know what they find.)

Samuel pulled out his PDA and tapped out a reply, then sent it off. He stood and looked around a bit absent-mindedly, the walked to the door and opened it. Samuel walked out and closed the door behind him, the drew his pistol and aimed it at downward angle. Clack He pulled the trigger and the handle was destroyed, the door unable to be opened anymore. He put away the silenced weapon and went to go look for some better equipment. Perception+Intuition=18/2=9 + roll (5)=14 Success

Tool Stop

She replied to the man "Well, Samuel's the leader of our group." She looked at the handcuffs "I think he has the key for them..." She finds a nearby hacksaw. "I could cut the chain if you want... if you can hold still that is!" She wasn't sure about this man, he seemed like an alright guy, and she wasn't exactly sure why Samuel handcuffed him, besides the fact he was defending himself.

Garian smiled, "That'll do, just don't hit me" He said and turned around the best he could to give her a good view of his handcuffed hands, staying stock still, holding his hands out as far away from his body as he could.

Claire slowly stepped in. "Where is everybody?" Claire asked her self. "Hello? Samuel? Angelina? Anybody?" Claire called out.

Iseult snapped her fingers at Claire. "Hey. Mind watching the door for me? Thanks." She didn't wait for a response, going into the store to help look for tools, since one of them had just entered the building, another was somewhere in the back, another was handcuffed, and another was trying to let them out of the handcuffs? "Hey. You." This was directed at the paramedic. "He's probably handcuffed for a reason. Don't let him out just yet." And then she went to look for tools.

(Salvage Find = Perception + Intuition = 13/2 = 6.5 + 8 = 14.5 Success!)

11:05, Tool Shop

Whislt searching through the tools David finds a unique Chain-saw called "The Bruce Campbell's Right Hand 2" (+2 to strength in combat/ +5 damage on hit), Meiling finds and interesting Assault rifle after having a closer look at it she relises it's a DeWalt Nail Gun, (+3 Damage\10% chance to pin enemies). Hurati after searching for a little bit finds 7 Micro-Rebreathers (Can travel underwater for extra 6 turns, if have dead weight flaw can only be in water with rebreather for 6 turns).

Samuel takes the rebreathers and looks at them, interesting design, not something you would find at a normal tool store. He put them in his bag and closed it, realizing that it was very close to being full. Sighing, he zips the bag closed and walks back to the front. Samuel noticed Angelina trying to hacksaw the handcuffs and raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. He leaned against a counter top about 15 meters away and waited.

David looked at the new weapon he has just aquired. Though it was a chainsaw, it seemed pretty light, he had to place it in his ba, which caused a rip in it. Other than that, it was fine. Now he had to put it through the test. If he was going on with Samuel and the others, he's gonna have to check if his parkour skills can work with certain things he carried. There was a knocked down aisle shelf at the end of the shop. He made a quick run for it. Right before he got to the shelf, he jumped. While over he did a complete frontflip over it. He did land on his feet, though it was a bit unstable compared to what he has been used to. "Throws off my momentum a bit." he thought. "But, I can manage."

"Hm? Me?" Claire asked Iseult. "Uh okay" Claire said quietly. She waited at the door. She occasionally looked outside and looked around inside. Claire let out a sigh. She wanted to help but she couldn't. She still felt useless.

Garian looked back at the people behind him, hearing their talking, "Less talking, more cuttting." He said with a smile, he did overreact a bit to Hurati, but that was mainly because he didn't know whom to trust anymore and was stuck looking out for himself, "I'll tell you what you need to know if you cut me loose." He told them.

[Z-Fied]

Angelina continued to cut him loose. She still didn't even think about him being a threat. "So, what's your name anyway?" she asked him. "...and what are you doing out here by yourself? Didn't you know people were gathering?"

[That_One_Guy]

Garian shrugged, "Names Garian, U.S. Army." He told her, "And I didn't know, been looking for more supplies to take while being shot at by thugs, bandits, and assholes." He looked at Hurati, "No offense, asshole."

[Hurati]

While the two had been talking, Samuel had pulled up Garians file and read it over. He smirked and nodded at Garian with the ghost of a smile on his lips, "It's alright ass douche, but remember, I did Identify myself as an officer. Samuel looked around and called out, "Alright, time to go."

He turned to Angelina, "The guy was cuffed for a reason, and you have barely made a scratch in those things, you might want to consider why he was cuffed next time." Samuel looked at Garian and thought to himself for a moment before saying, "I'm going to let you go, you can come with us if you want, but you're free to go." Samuel walked over to the two of them, moved Angelina firmly out of the way, and used the small key to unlock the hand cuffs. He walked outside, clipping the cuffs to his belt and pocketing the key and waited, leaning with his back against a car facing the store.

Claire saw Samuel walk past her. She looked at him for a minute then looked back inside the store.

Angelina watched blankly at Hurati walked out the store. All she had done was try to help someone who looked like they were in need, and he wasn't a threat, just a little untrusting. She turned back to Garian "... So why were you handcuffed?" she had missed the whole thing, and hadn't even thought about why he was handcuffed, just the fact that he seemed to have been having breathing problems when she first approached him. She got to her feet, and also helped Garian up. "You're not going to wander round by yourself are you? It's too dangerous to go alone."

She'd found a box. Opening it, she discovered the nail gun, some charging apparatus, and an instruction manual. Let's see... power for 3 hours... this was the charger... some batteries... hm. Okay. The ammunition, of course, being nails, so hopefully there'd be enough of those to last her a while. She placed everything except the gun itself back into the box, wedging the box between her left arm and her body, and then holding the gun with both hands, waiting for the scene in front of her to play out.

11:15 - Tool Shop

As time ticks on you realise there isn't much else to be found here and Samuel's suggestioned. It will take 10 minutes to get to the gun shop which is the last stop before the mall.

Samuel adjusted the full bag on his back and sighed, checking his PDA for the time, it was almost noon. He called out to the group, "Time to leave. then started walking along the road towards the mall. He was going at a decent pace, fast enough to get somewhere, but slow enough so that anyone could catch up.
