(your usage of the word comes more from lycanthropy that basically means insane person that thinks he turn in to a animal. Doesn't matter.
Reapers usage comes from the word where the person turn in to a werewolf. the word doesn't say if the person was human before or not and it's a much longer word meaning it contains more information then just lycan. I believe lycan is likey some word plus wolf in greek.
Now shut up and sit down. I'm trying to RP. BTW reaper i'm going to go for about 4 hours so i won't be posting.)

(Fuck lore i got English on my side. There is no word in English according to oxford that starts with Lycan and has some one transforming in to a rat man.
The only one is where the person is insane and thinks he can transform in to human and some type of animal.
