Tamara and WyckSpoiler (click to show/hide):
Eventually, the two made into town, running up to Irina's home, where Mordecai was located. The doctor examined the situation and, with a tired sigh, led both of the women inside, resting Tamara on a sofa. First order of business was to actually remove the arrow. Mordecai examined it for a bit, wondering how to go about this, before he grabbed hold of the massive spear-like arrow and, first off, sawed off the end that was sticking out through her back, as to make it less painful what she would actually have to go through once he began pulling the thing out. He examined it for a little bit more before opening up his satchel of medicines and handing Tamara a bottle filled with fluids. "Here, dryder poison...It'll numb out the pain. Drink up."
He proposed, before then grabbing the arrow and yanking it off, quite unceremoniously, leaving the giant open wound on Tamara now open and bleeding. He'd have to work fast now, fixing his doctor's mask in place, he examined the situation for a bit. "Seems like it didn't hit anything too important...Lucky you. Don't try to move your arm though." He warned, before glancing through his medicine cabinet in search of something that could heal the wound..."Hydra fluid might be a good idea but...Shit. I'm out...I think I already used it all up." He grumbled, scratching his head in thought. "Okay, change of plans...I'm going to have to disinfect the wound and then just dress it up, you'll have to regenerate it more slowly, with small dosages of fluids with regenerating properties every day...Or, I dunno, something stronger, if we do manage to find something with a bit more punch." He replied, before setting another bottle close to Tamara, this one filled to the brim with troll fluids. "...There. Don't drink that yet! Your still under partial anesthesia, if you drink that now you might end up with that in your lungs and you don't want that, especially because that thing is thick as hell." He warned, before he zipped off.
Quickly returning with a bottle of alcohol and bandages, he sighed some. "...Right, so." He applied some alcohol to a patch of the bandages and quickly cleaned up the wounds on both sides, making sure the wound was at least clean before he then wrapped bandages around it, putting them up tightly, he would finally be finished, letting out an exhausted sigh. "...Right! ...So...What happened?"
YaskerSpoiler (click to show/hide):
Ghera sighed and got to examining the statues, as per Yasker's request. "I thought you wanted to talk to me...Not use me as your personal researcher." She grumbled, approaching the statues and running her fingers over the scriptures as she looked at them, trying to understand what they meant, glancing at the massive primordial plant woman statue for a moment before resuming her work. Sgrib simply shook his arms. "Nah nah nah, I don't deal with languages...I'm a more engineering kind of guy." He stated, shrugging slightly before he went off to work. As Yasker slipped his arms around Ghera, she froze up a bit, before slowly turning to him with a nervous toothy smile.
"U-Uh...Thanks...I mean...Sure...I guess." She laughed it off for a bit, before clearing up her throat and replying to him about the scriptures. "It's...Nothing I've ever seen before, I'm afraid. I thought it might be orcish for a bit there, some of the letters have a few passing similarities but...No, no luck. If we had more scriptures or points of reference, maybe we could try to figure out what each letter means...Assuming of course it even works relatively similar to any of today's alphabets." She shrugged, before turning to the statues themselves. "And this..This isn't something I've ever seen before either...I'd remember." She glanced over at the other two statues...Or well, at least, what was left of them. "Something called my attention though." She called your attention to a series of drawings on each of the statues pedestals. "This first one is all demolished, no way to tell what was here...This second one is this plant woman and, look, on the image directly below, there's a symbol of a flower or a plant of some sort." She stated, before then turning to the last statue, which was partly destroyed, only a pair of feet being left there.
"This one though...Shows a pair of feet. And the symbol is a...Pickaxe or something, maybe just a war pick." She mumbled, rubbing her chin. "That...Might mean something? I don't know."
