She pulls to a stop and gets out her binoclours and looks closer at the smoke, trying to see what's causing it.

Off in the distance, there is a ruined city. The smoke is coming from there, but it does not appear to be any of the buildings that are on fire. Your best guess is that there are alot of campfires there...

"İ am not a .... threat. You fired at me still.... Give my ri....rifle back. İ would come with you then...... İ promise." said Rothus. He wasnt going to give up his only defence and meet the person who fired at him as a lamb to slaughter.

"Do you see something?"

(I wasn't expecting the success so um waiting on GM i guess. Sorta like kit was waiting for me.)

You see the smoke in the distance, coming from the old city of the river. There is too much smoke for it to be just a campsite, so you assume it must be a permanent settlement

"Um Ms.Witch That looks like a Village of some kind. Your looking for resources right? Maybe you can start a trade relations"
Liana said unsure of the type of village.

"That's true. But we don't know about the village. for all we know, this could be raiders."
she admits, continuing to watch.

You are still too far away to make out any real detail beyond the smoke, and the ruined husks of pre-war buildings

"Well when ever you plan to make contact with a village it's wises to take each step slowly. Other than the fact you don't know what kind of village they are there is a chance they're desperate for supply's and will attack anyone they don't know."

Hurati gestured to the ground, "Have a seat then. I'm not a fool, and I don't know if you are one either. You can not pick up your rifle or run without getting killed." He looked at the man raised his eyebrow, if he wasn't trying to be a hard ass things would go quicker and smoother.

Rothus was trying to secure himself. İt wasnt easy the trust someone who tried to shoot you a while ago. Looking at his rifle Rothus thought it would be end of him anyway if he stood up to them even with his rifle. Shaking his head Rothus rememberedf his combat knife. İt was big but his cloak hid it so he could trust it if things get bad for him.

"Lets do it your way then." Rothus said with a sigh. His face was hidden by the mask and googles but still it was obvious that Rothus was weary and tired. He decided to follow this guy and see what would come out of it.

Hurati climbed up a decent sized boulder and sat down at the top, "Down there is fine if you will. So let's start, I ask a question, you answer. Then you ask one and I answer." He withdrew his revolver, fiddling with one of the catches that switched from one barrel to another. "I'll start, what's your name?"

"Rothus." said Rothus. Rothus smiled as Man tried to put some distance between them by climbing on top of a boulder. Rothus decided to do this peacefull way.

"My turn. Why you attacked me?" asked Rothus

Hurati cocked his head and looked at.... Rothus, "I never attacked you. I still have all chambers full. What are you doing out here near this place?"

"İ am ......travelling around........ Searching for people ........ and things. Also your...... friends did try..." Rothus said. Thinking about a second he thought about what to ask.

"Who are you?" asked Rothus.

[Hurati]

Hurati laughed, "That's not a little vague, but that's alright. I'm Hurati, an engineer for our little group here. I'm assuming that we mutually agree to answer honestly so..... if you joined us, would you attack or kill any of our group? Remember that I hold you to your word and there is such a thing as a wrong answer."

"Would you....... try to kill .....other people..... innocent people? ..........My asnwer is your answer." said Rothus slowly getting used to talk his words becoming more clear and fluent.

Hurati crossed his arms, "Did you hear my job? I don't do any fighting unless I'm forced to. I will not kill the innocent, but what counts as innocent depends on your perspective. That changes from person to person, so what is your definition of innocent?"

"Little ones..... Old ones..... Ones who are not bad.... Ones who are kind....." said Rothus.

"Ones who are not like me." he thought.

Hurati shook his head, "Age and size doesn't matter and people pretend all the time." He sighed and rubbed his eye, "Whatever you want to think, if you come with us then the only time you should attack one of us is in self-defense. And you have to exercise judgement over what kind of force to use."
