That Roserade was incredibly strong to take a headbutt and a super effective Gust from that Pidgey. No doubt this one was well trained by the look of it. Okay so they couldn't use direct force on it however Madison wasn't all out of ideas on exactly how to improve this situation. His initial idea however was put to a stop for the moment when he heard the Baltoy on the officers side start to explain things to him. How this Roserade needed to be taken down however they needed the other Pokémon downed first so they could handle that one grass type. The female voice told him that the best way to help them was to get rid of the other ones. However Madison had another idea to bring to the table. "Just hold on Baltoy and I'll get a fresh pick me up if you need it. I have an idea on how to keep that Roserade out of the fight. If we keep hitting it with multiple hampering effects and cripple it, it can be rendered useless whilst we deal with it's help."
Madison would first however instruct his Pokémon. "Alright Eevee, let's play some defense! Use Helping Hand and give Poochyena some spirit! Poochyena hit that Smoochum with another powerful bite!" Eevee was quick to act as she hops up and down with a twirl and a twist showing off how agile she truly was whilst the Poochyena surged forward at Smoochum to try and deliver a super powered bite that would undoubtably hurt if it hit. His eyes glanced to Nina and he knew how the trainer of Roserade was gunning for Chinny. Which was why he wouldn't let her do that. "Shroomish I need you to deliver some Stun Spores to the opponents Baltoy!" Shroomish was going to make these Pokémon's life miserable and force them to endure a huge onslaught by slowing them straight down.
"You get that girl?" He said addressing Nina as he then says "Let's change things up." Madison was hoping Nina would follow the advice and example of Madison. They were going to take out all of the enemies support network and cripple their abilities to be effective against their team then pick them off one by one. He hadn't yet found an idea to deal with Roserade but if he could somehow improvise a fire attack with the environment he would surely try and take it. He kept helping Nina letting her hear his voice and make sure she wasn't going to panic at a critical moment. As long as she kept her cool and found strength in his courage then it might work out for them both.
