She remember being sick and her mother taking care of her, before she had been gunned down in cold blood by her father. That was the end of good times, and it only made her body break out in sweat as she continued to sleep, her back to both women in the cell.

Stella moves over and wipes up the sweat on Samantha. "I remember when I did this for a child at a hospital. I sang hush little baby to her every time." Stella starts singing the child's tune to Samantha. She smiles as she remembers the days of her working at a hospital before being transferred to the prison

Chrissy heads over to Samantha's cell. Sitting beside Stella she asks. "Is she doing alright?" Chrissy would sit on her own legs.

Rachel blinked slowly as Stella began singing. After a couple of verses in, Rachel collasped next to Samantha, asleep just as Chrissy entered.

"No... I-i..." She looks away and stays silent. Stella looks at Rachel for a while and pulls a blanket over her. "Goodnight Rachel..."

Samantha stirred ever so slightly in her sleep, half awake, half adrift on the high of a dream that promised to be so much more. "I just had the strangest sensation you were singing to me" she mused rubbing sleep from her eye. She looked even worse than before, her eyes almost a solid red from lid to lid, her lids with a heavy crust hanging from long eyelashes. Her high cheeks were flush against her face, the drained skin making her look almost like a walking corpse and not a lady of her stature. She shifted her position, the form of Rachel pushing up against her awkwardly. "I just can't win today can I?" she said, before placing an arm over the sleeping lady, her hand stroking her hair.
