Alena is silent through the myriad of exchanges, not knowing who Lene Soraya is, thought she's apparently well recommended if she immediately got respect out of Azmerelda, and not caring about Motoko and Caryn Janeva's musical duel as it brought them no closer to saving Kathryn. Her focus is more geared towards the were-tiger sleeping in her arms than anything going on around her, though she does notice the looks she's receiving from the newcomers and realizing that she's neglected to put her disguise up. Well, she no longer cares anyway. If anyone tries to call her on her species, she has a hell of a lot of frustration she'd just love to work out on some ignorant toad. Still, it would be rude to not introduce herself to the two people who have apparently wedged themselves into their party. Well, it's not like she'll turn down someone from a family apparently known for slaying dragons or a skilled bard anyway so she isn't annoyed by the events. "Greetings, Lene Soraya, Caryn Janeva. I am Alena Allison. I am pleased to make your acquaintance and hope we work well together in the future. Forgive me if a forgo my curtsy, but I would rather not disturb the girl in my arms." Alena says in greeting.
With the new party members greeted, she turns to the new woman with no sense of tact. The power? Is this something she missed in the past 280 years? She made sure to try to update herself as best she could over the 2 month break, but apparently she's still missing information. Once again, she speaks simply in the interest of not seeming rude. "Greetings, Lyris. I am unsure of what this 'power' you speak of is, but I am sure that any help given would be appreciated. At the very least, it is unlikely for you to seriously harm us before a dragon does." With pleasantries out of the way, Alena prepares to move. Standing around chatting is great and all, but it doesn't bring her any closer to Kathryn. It's best to prepare herself as best she can in anticipating of Azmerelda's teleportation so that she can move as quickly as possible to deal with the dragon. With that mindset, she prepares to move towards a general store to buy rations. She already has as good a sword as she can have at the moment, though maybe feels the need to upgrade her armor since she neglected to do so in the last time, so making sure she doesn't have to rely on her magic to feed herself would be a good idea.
