Sortaix and The Red colored Lizard, named "Blue"...*snicker*:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Things seemed to progress well, after Sort and his new friend went back into the city, except for not being able to find anybody he knew, or anything to remotely come close to telling him their location within the city. So, things weren't really going well at all. That mattered little, as Sort could always cheat and do things the easy way, which he did. Sort led Blue a little way into an alley, just out of sight before playing up a little magic in his hands, which did little more than attract a white dove. The dove however landed on Blues horns, but before he could do anything, it began to speak.
"Well now, lost are we?"
"Would I have bothered you otherwise, Mother?"
"No, I guess not. You're almost as bad as your father when it comes to navigating cities."
"Just help me find my friends, so we can get this show on the road... please."
"What's this? Manners, from you?! It must be the end of the world."
"Ha...ha... funny."
"Two of your friends have gone underground. The people in this city fighting for their freedom have established a nice little resistance against their oppressors. Dax and Lilia are both now in their company. Victor and Nyx are wandering around the street, trying not to draw attention to themselves. I will lead you to them, just don't draw too much attention to yourselves."
Sort and Blue had little time to think things over before the dove took flight and began leading them down the streets. Some people looked at the two travelers, but one look at the Necromancic staff was all that was needed to avoid to any confrontations or unwanted conversations.
Victor and the Cat-girl, with a Wolf Demon Sword:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Vicotr and Nyx were able to successfully navigate the streets for a short time without any confrontation. They slipped passed people on the busy streets, as the city began returning to its' normal routine. They had almost no trouble trying to find Sort...almost. Unfortunately someone noticed Nyx's cat-like ears, and quietly slipped away to go get the guards. Victor and Nyx made it just out of what was evidently, the citys market district. as a guard patrol stopped them. There was a young man pointing at them as he told the guards.
"That's her, That's her! That's the Cat-woman. She is obviously a neko, but she wears no collar. I want my bounty for turning in wild slaves."
The young man was quite adamant about getting money for turning Nyx in. Though a guard did step forward and looked over to Victor.
"We have laws in this city Traveler. You either get a collar for your pet or someone might think she is a wild Neko, and there is a significant bounty for turning in wild Nekos. Now, come along with us, so we can get her properly collared and registered, or you will loose her, and she'll go up for auction."
The guard didn't seem to be overly aggressive, just a normal attitude. This gave off the impression, that a Neko woman walking around, as a slave being normal for this city, and Nyx's apparent "freedom" being something unusual. Though as the guard stood waiting for his answer Victor or Nyx would just so happen to notice a white dove flying over him. A white dove that felt strangely familiar, and was looking in the other direction, as if waiting for something.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The woman that led Dax into the cellar turned at his question, of what type of anthro she was. She looked at him for a moment, as if judging his intentions.
"My name is Terra, and I am a Wolfen. Now come along with us. This place isn't safe for a Neko."
She said as Dax could now see a human standing in the corner as well as a large male Deer anthro, both of them, armed with swords. They gave Terra a questioning loo until they looked at Dax and noticed what he was. They then walked over to a large ale barrel and lifted open the lid, which led to a hallway. The group then proceeded down the hallway, with the only light being from the torch that the human was carrying, until they came to a door. The two men drew their weapons and looked at each other, waiting as if they were expecting something on the other side of those doors to cause trouble. They flung open the door and threw the torch inside, which caused, nothing.
All three of the people breathed a sigh of relief before the torch was picked back up and they continued on deeper into what Dax's nose told him was a sewer. They traveled for only a few more minutes before they came to another door, at which the human proceeded to knock on, in a strange, rhythmic pattern. The door then opened and the three were allowed inside. Another human stood guarding this door, armored up and armed to the teeth. The three led Dax through one more door, which led to a large room, full of people. There were humans and anthros of all types and ages about. The place looked like a sort of refugee camp. Unfortunately, the people looked like they were in a refugee camp, almost no one looked remotely close to happy. Dax was led halfway through this room before they stopped behind a large human, in full armor, with a mace and a shield at his side. Terra tapped him on the shoulder and began to speak to him.
"Simon, we were able to stop the execution, and we found someone else that might help us. He has magic I could see it." The human looked Dax over, and Dax could see the man's weather face and scars indicated he was no stranger to battle, maybe even war.
"So Terra, you think he might help us? That's why you brought him straight here, to our home? You didn't even bother to see if he was a damn spy?"
"Simon, he is a Neko!"
"What does that matter? He could still be working for the Government, or the Necromancers. You there, Cat-boy, tell me who you are and what you are doing in this wretched city."
Lilia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Lilias words were not lost on the young man, as she could see him turn a little bit pale at her words. The group descended into the sewer, where they traveled for a few minutes. During this time, the young one from earlier spoke to her. He was trying to just break the silence, but he did tell her that they were part of a resistance in the city. Apparently not all of the Lamayons were happy with the alliance with Saloran, or the Necromancy and slavery it brought. The central focus of the resistance was here in the capital city. Though the resistance lacked any real power to do little more than steal slave shipments and other criminal like activity against the Necromancer overlords. They had however caused enough trouble that a Necromancer had come to the city to personally eradicate them. He was a large brute of a man, always wearing heavy armor and wielding a large war hammer. He used his magics to make his body stronger as opposed to using magic as his weapon. The young man talked for a bit longer, but was cut short as they came to a door. The other person knocked on the door in a strange, rhythmic patter, which caused the door to be opened. The three stepped inside, and Lilia was able to see a very large room, possibly an old cistern, and it was full of people. People who looked like they were in a refugee camp, but there in the middle of the room was Dax, and he was talking to someone in full armor.
By the time you realize this doesn't say anything. It's too late to stop reading.
