You swiftly walk up a hill and see into the valley, a massive battle between a bunch of humans behind fortifications (fences, sandbags, etc) in front of a tunnel into a mountain, fighting power armored men firing upon them with miniguns.

Reaper stays back a ways and watches the fight. Keeping an eye out for any sneak attacks.

Making sure that no other raiders were around, James headded back down the road, collected Clair, and then returned to Lelith. "Since when did this road become so dangerous? It's only been... 40 years since I was last here..."

They seem to be focused on each other. You could intervene, or just go check out that nuke, your special characteristics allow you to fast travel.
