"Ya, I kind of missed the old days where all three of us would share a mattress on the floor, you know, when we didn't have all this bullshit materialistic values" she sighed. She kicked off her shoes into the corner of the bedroom, before tossing Cassie onto a King sized sleigh-bed. She headed off in the direction of the shower, stripping completely as she went.

"It was one of the younger kids in the class, think his name is Shaun or something, not that I really ever got along with him" she said with a quiet tone, "He isn't right in the head if you know what I mean. I mean he is smart, but in a weird way." The bell rang, and the last class of the day had wound down to an end.

"Well, why don't you suck on a bag of dicks?" he said, flipping him off. The bell rung and the kid grabbed his backpack, slinging it over the shoulder. From the chest pocket of his blazer he pulled out a small bandanna and wrapped it around long flowing black hair. "See you later chump change, I got a volley ball try-out to win!".

"Three of us? I forgot who the third person was..." Cassie says to herself. She follows Amber into the shower. "Hey Amber what was the name of the third person again?"

Dax decided to tag along towards the volleyball tryouts eager for abit of redemption after earlier today plus that guy grated on his nerves and he couldn`t wait to show him up if he could. Anyone that cocky deserved to be brought down a few pegs.

Claire packs her stuff and stands up. She stretches and then waits for Rebecca and Hayley. "Uh. Can I borrow your phone now?" she asks.

Amber opened all the sky lights that were above the washroom, her long slender arms grabbing the different cords that orchestrated the opening of shutters and blinds. The sun lit up the room, reflecting on all the white surfaces of the areas. The whole room was tiled, and was a level below the entrance to the room, as it was a spa styled shower with the integrated Jacuzzi jets in the seats. "Not when we had sleep-overs silly, I mean when my mother and father and I all used to share the same bed. Despite all this wealth, we have only grown further apart, you know what I mean?" she said with a hint of sadness betraying her almond eyes. She stripped of the last of her undergarments, before standing below the shower nozzle, and turned it on to a full blast of cold water.

The volleyball tryouts started out early this year, it was nothing more than a bid by the headmaster to try and keep the division championship for the third year in a row, and what would probably be the last year as the dream team of volley-players would go off and graduate. Already the gym was beginning to fill up, some students sneaking away from class to watch the girls jump in shirts and gymshorts, others to try out themselves.

"Sure thing" Hayley said, pulling out the bright pink cased smart phone out from her bra again. "Just don't make any long distance calls." she said, they begun to walk towards the gym, intent on making the team this year.

Claire grabs the phone and dials her father's number. "Uh. Hey Dad. Um. I'm going to stay after school and try-out for volleyball. And afterwards I'm going to go to a friend's house to get help and help her out. Is that okay Daddy?" she asks.

Dax walks into the gym quickly dropping his bag in a corner of the bleachers and changed his shirt once again back to his Yoko shirt straight in the open, he didn`t mind being seen without a shirt and he was hoping Yoko`s fiery personality might bleed into him and help him do well as he moved down onto the court.

[Last post of the night, work is just 'round the corner yet again, sigh]

"That gentlemen is how we should expand the family busine..." the speech was cut off mid sentence as his phone began to ring in his pocket, the vibrating sensation along his chest pocket bringing his attention away from the meeting at hand. He looked at the phone number, not sure where it was coming from as it was a personal cell phone and he gave it to a very select few.

"Hello Mr. [Claire's Chinese last name. Probably Lau] speaking.". It was the voice of his daughter coming through the muffled speaker of his phone. He paused to take it all in, before putting his hand up to the assembled businessmen and walked out of the conference room. "I told you not to call me unless it was an emergency. As for your plans, if you do volleyball you could get hurt, and fall on your head, then my daughter would go brain dead, and a brain dead daughter can't be groomed to run the family business. Also, your "friend" isn't really your friend after one day, what if she holds you hostage in demand for money?" he asked, delusional as always.

Rebecca, Hayley, and a few paces behind, was Claire on the phone, all filtering into the gym, their bags over their shoulders as they were un-yet changed. The olive skinned boy from earlier also walked in, his clothes having been swapped out for black shorts with orange stripes running down the legs, and a shirt with latin themed elements playing along it in metallic silver stripes.

Dax walked over to them with a small smile that somehow managed to creepBack into his face as he said,"Hey guys you here for tryouts too? good luck!" he said more cheerfully.

Claire sighs. "But daddy. If I don't do any sports or get to know anyone then I will never meet someone to take over the family business. And if I don't make friends with anyone, then people will tease me. And teasing becomes hazing. And hazing means damage. Would you rather me get hurt by everybody or a ball? And as for that friend, like I said. Even if I do get hazed I'll still have protection. And maybe she can introduce me to someone so he can take over the business. Or I can just come home, never meet anyone and get abused. Is that what you want daddy?" she asks.

"Don't worry Amber. Now that I'm here you have a person to release your sadness upon." Cassie strips and goes into the shower with Amber. "Let us wash the past away and let us get drained with the future." She hugs Amber and holds her in the cold water.

Rebecca waved back to Dax, nearing him at the center of the court. "Hey there Dax, long time no see, didn't really get to say much in the way of greetings with Amber butchering Cassie earlier this morning" she said with a bit of hesitance. "How is the new year going for you so far?" she asked. She tossed down her backpack in the ever growing pile of backpacks lining the wall of the gymnasium's court, this year the turn out for the women's and men's volley ball team tryouts was reaching an all time record. Hayley walked up to Dax as well, a broad smile there, "If it isn't the ever-virgin!" she leaned in closely whispering into his ear, "If you ever need somebody to help you with that, I love taking people's first time" she said with a mischievous wink.

"I rather you get hurt by no one. A member of this family is strong, stronger than any ball or any hazing could possibly do. So enough of this silly talk of you finding someone to replace you in the family business, I did not come over to this country to build a company for my daughter, for her to only toss it away to the first under-aged boy she meets at a volleyball tournament. If you want to play volleyball, that is your prerogative, but a boy to take over the family business, I might as well just cut off his balls and make an example of him" he said sternly over the phone, his voice carrying back into the conference room. "So unless there is anything else I believe the conversation is over".

"It's not so much sadness as it is a yearning to be with someone, first them, then you, then everyone around me. I was growing more isolated than even you can imagine, when everyone holds you in contempt for what you have despite how you came into having it. The curious glances the other student's give me, or the boys talking behind my back about how stuck up of a snob I am. Like you my circumstances changed around me, but I am still me, I am still Amber am I not" she punctuated her final sentence with a hand gesture, before wrapping her arms back around Cassie, her vulnerable form held limply in Cassie's arms.

"Hey guys! And it`s going. I`m hoping I can end the day with some fun." He said winking back at Hayley,"So are you guys having a fun time with Claire?"

"Well dear, if you stick with me you will" Hayley said seductively back. "As for the new girl, she's pretty cool, we picked her up as part of our group after everyone ditched her at gym. "Though she has been on the phone for the last little while." she said with a hand gesture towards the lady.

"No, you're more than just Amber. You're the one that changed my life. You're my hero... for pulling me out of the thing I became. I will always love you for that. There's just one problem though. The Amber i knew didn't cry over words that someone spoke or what someone did to her." Cassie hugs her tightly.

"Just like how the Cassie I knew didn't let others bring her down. It's funny what we have become, isn't it?" she said, reviving the hug even tighter. Her breast were slick with water, her nipples hard with the cooling embrace of the water, and the affection she was receiving from the love of her life. As she moved the tips of her nipples drew gentle circles against the breasts of Cassie, enticing a slight gasp of expectation from Amber.

"No, we haven't, how our bodies have changed since then, it's all so nostalgic, the beaten up little porcelain tub with the barely functioning hot water. We used to keep close together to stay warm in the water" she said.

"Well let's warm each other up then." Cassie gets as close as she possibly could to Amber and rubs her hands on Amber's stomach
