Kaz choked up when she saw how thoroughly she had soaked Mex, but then she nodded.

"Got ya wet, but water ya gunna do about it, rite?" she cracked wise with a perfectly straight face. The other girl's comment about her dress was...intriguing, to see the least. A bikini made of pure ashes? But it looked so attractive. Kaz would totes wear it...but then again, it probably wasn't that comfortable.

Speaking of swimwear, it seemed Dax was laying another interrogation on her. She spun around in the water to face him without any apparent movement; presumably she had just literally twisted the water beneath the surface with a spell to turn her around.

"Ya, bruh, just yesterday. It's maaaaaaagic. Heals my wounds and stuff." she said tersely, and then turned back to Mex with that same lack of movement.

"Is it drowning?" she blinked dumbly, seeing Mex's scythe being forced underwater.

Incidentally, at that moment, her Tidal Stave bobbed in the water towards her, propping up against her left shoulder. The orb up top pulsated, seeming to quiver with delight at being so close to water.

"Ohi Tide. This is Ravenous, Mex's scythe. Tide, Ravenous. Ravenous, Tide." she greeted her unspeaking, unmoving staff. She'd nicknamed it "Tide" a long time ago.

The staff pulsated once and continued to bob in the water.

"That's pretty cool Miss Kaz!~ And she must have really liked you to have given it to you." Dax said smiling as he swam around the pool enjoying the warm water running through his fur as he swam. "THis pool is great! I'm glad you found it Miss Kaz! I really needed it."

Mex facepalmed. Kaz was a good water mage...but was probably going to be better off leaving comedy to the professionals. Raven's blubbing abruptly stopped and Mex cast a curious look at it. Weird. Kaz blinked at the obvious ill treatment of Raven as he stopped blubbing altogether, asking if he could actually drown.
"Oh, you mean Raven? Nah...I think?"
Mex glanced at Raven with a bit more worry this time, lifting him out of the water. There was no sharp intake of breath that usually accompanied this particular torture.
"Um. Hang on."
She placed Raven on the poolside and climbed out of the pool to kneel beside him.
"Raven. You should probably stop acting now.."
The scythe remained silent and Mex gave him an annoyed look, flames igniting in her hands.
"Don't say I didn't warn you, then..Clear!"
Mex grinned deviously as she laid both flaming hands on the scythe's blade, heating it white-hot.
GAHHH! I'M ON FIRE! WATER! THERE! THROW ME IN! QUICK!
Raven screamed as soon as her hands touched the blade. Yeah. Not dead, then. Mex took her own sweet time getting up, dusting her hands off to extinguish the flames. And then reared back her right foot and kicked, promptly punting Raven into the pool.
The scythe landed with a splash, the tip of the blade just sticking out of the pool, just enough to reply to Kaz as she introduced the two weapons.
Hey, Tide. Dolphin treating you right? Seriously, man. Swap you anytime..you don't talk much, do you?
Mex slipped back into the pool, picking up Raven with another evil grin.
Again? Come o- blubblubblub...

"Poor Raven... Though he does ask for it!" Dax says with a laugh and splashes the two playfully and swims off,"Try and catch me wahahaha" He laughs as he swims off cackling.

"They ain't got no laws against weapon abuse. I feel almost sorry for him, yo. Almooooooooooooost." commented Kaz lightheartedly as she paddled around on her back, the warm water flowing through her hair. Occasionally, a small rift would form in the water and Kaz would sink into it suddenly, before rebounding back to the surface with another splash. Water mage was a good swimmer. No kidding.

She leaned against one edge of the pool, bemused by Mex's horrible, heartbreaking and cruel abuse of Ravenous.

Tide continued to pulsate, seeming to shrink behind Kaz in fear as a wave pushed it behind her, but she quickly grabbed hold with a broad grin and thrust it out under Mex's nose.

"Aww, don't be shy! Hey, wanna trade?" she questioned. It then became apparent she was talking to Tide, rather than Mex.

The staff gave no reply.

"I'll take your silence as a 100% yes, sister." she said. Right, so Tide was a female. Made sense coming from the mind of Kaz. Well, sometimes it gave her advice on what to wear, so probably. When it didn't like what it saw, it fell off of its stand and wrecked something.

Then she remembered Dax said something.

"Sure, yo. I cud probs make a pool like this back at camp if you dug a lil pit." she suggested over her shoulder.

"You feel sorry for him..? You just don't know him yet."
Mex said, an incredulous look on her face. That the day would come that actually someone gave two shits about Raven. Maybe she should trade for that staff, after all. It would be like trading Pokemon or something. A puzzled frown settled upon her face. What the hell were Pokemon?
Kaz then said something truly shocking. Tide was a girl. Apparently.
"Now..how did you figure that one out?"
Mex raised an eyebrow at Kaz, gently nudging Tide away from her nose.

Tide reeled back into Kaz's chest as she pulled it back.

"Weeeellll...isn't it like, obvious?" she said dumbly, raising the staff and examining it top to bottom. No clear indication of gender was visible anywhere; it was just a runic blue pole with a giant orb of water up top. Not very easy to attribute a sex to, unless you were Kaziente.

"We've got like, the same taste in clothes and food and hobbies. A guy sure as heck wudn't, ya?" she said. There was probably a grain of truth to her broken chain of reasoning. The only question is if this was really worth debating.

"'Course she doesn't speak or anything, so I dunno." she then shrugged.

Dax swam back over and asked Mex,"You know Raven mentioned something about me earliar about me what was it? He seems very opinionated if you ask me." Dax says the curiousity showing in his voice.

[Sortaix]

Sort just gives a small smile as he listens to the flute Nyx is playing. He stands by silently listening to the beautiful music, for several minutes. Sort then guestures to Victor to walk up to her.
"Keep an eye on her, I am pretty sure goblins are nearby. Enjoy the music, I am going to go check on everyone else."
Sort then walks back to camp, smiling all the while. On his way back to camp he hears some rustling sounds. It sounds like a small creature of some kind. He quickly draws his bow and notches an arrow. Sort tracks the sound in a direction away from camp for several minutes. He then drops low and follows the sounds, what he can now tell is obviously a creature of some kind, toward the sound of more voices. Sort eventually comes to a small clearing with a pool of water. Sort crouches out of the bush at the pool where Mex, Dax, and Kaz are. They see Sort come sneaking out of the bushes bis bow at the ready as he looks of to the side of the pool, tracking something.

Dax calls his shield to him as he see's Sort crawl out of the bushes bow out of the ready before whispering,"What's going on Captian?"

And enjoy it I shall... Victor thinks to himself, but simply nods in agreement to Sort. Once the Cap'n has left, however, he sits down near Nyx, on the opposite side of where Ookami's sitting. He lets her play her flute for now, until she notices him.

She doesn't notice him, but Ookami does
"aroo!" he yelped

Nyx stops "hello victor"

"Hello Nyx, and Ookami. You're quite talented with that flute, you know that?" It's not simple flattery, either; Nyx's musical skills really strike a chord with Victor (no pun intended), to the point that he could listen to her do it for almost all day. Of course, he'd probably be asleep by the time that day would be at sunset. Not because she'd bore him, but because Nyx's flute-work is actually quite soothing to listen to, helping him feel at peace.

"Thank you very much...I am very surprised that the Taichou didn't freak at seeing a winged wolf" she muttered, placing her flute in her tunic, it seemingly disappearing into her clothes

Mex blinked. Obvious? The damn thing was a staff!
"Um..okay?"
Dax was saying something as well about Raven.
"Him? Like I told you, just ignore him. Now go back to gawking at Kaz."
She lifted Raven out of the water and a sharp intake of breath came this time. She grinned at the scythe as she returned him to the poolside...where Sort was emerging from the bushes. Mex blinked again, then rubbed her crimson eyes. Yep. Sort was still there.
"Uh. Right.."
Mex went lower into the water, till it was covering her mouth. Her cheeks were blushed with embarrassment, having not expected Sort to come find them..

"Yeep. Okay." Kaz grinned broadly at Mex, unperturbed by how she apparently disagreed.

She began to backstroke across the pool. Oh, then Sort came from the bushes. This place was quickly becoming popular! She'd have to replicate this pool back at camp for safety reasons, wouldn't she?

Sunken into the water about up to her eyes much like Mex, she blinked silently at the shady looking Sort. What was he up to?

"*hrghrbhrlrort!*" she waved to him wildly, her mouth still underwater and thus her greeting coming at as a garble of bubbles.

Sort is crouching low to the ground, his bow ready. He has his eyes on something, drawing a beat on it. He ignored Dax, waving him off. Sort creeps up to the edge of the clearing and the group hears him fire an arrow, which is responded to by a small roar. Several minutes pass as Sort waits with bated breath, then the roar is echoed throughout the forest, by many, many more creatures. The forest itself comes alive with roars and growls from everywhere.
"Shit! Everyone out of the water now! Get the hell back to camp!"
Sort gets another arrow ready and fires a shot over the group in the pool, in time for a goblin to hit the ground dead in front of them, a large club in his hand, and a large erection between his legs. Maybe he was watching the girls the whole time? Sort shouts out more as he fires a blast of light magic over the pool group as they clamber out of the water.

(Now will come a battle scene, no stamina or health will be taken away, consider it an opening cutscene. You can BAMF out all you want, but the group will be scattered. Victor, Nyx, and Mar in group #1. Dax, Kaz, and Nova in group#2. Sort and Mex in group #3. I do not care how you fight or battle in the opening fight as long as you scatter with your assigned group. Have fun with the goblins, ya'll.)

Dax leaps out of the pool his shield already raised and ready as he tosses the many rounded rocks in the nearby brook at the many goblins rushing out of the forest,"Touch these women and it will be your undoing." He growls as he rushes towards them drawing their attention away from Kaz until she gets out of the pool and battle ready.

[Icaelus]

"Sort?"
Mex rose from the pool, her expression quizzical as she watched him creep up to the clearing's edge. And then fire an arrow over their heads, striking a goblin behind them. The goblin fell and didn't move again. Mex's red eyes widened with surprise as she climbed out of the pool and picked up Ravenous.
"Sort! Behind you!"
She yelled. A goblin had raised his club behind Sort and was about to swing..Sort wouldn't turn in time.
"Shift!"
Mex screamed as she swung Ravenous in an horizontal arc, shifting mid-swing beside the goblin as he swung his club. Ravenous cut a bloody streak through the air, cleaving the goblin's head clean off.
"Flameforms!"
Mex waved her hand at the entire group, fiery armor materializing on them. They would protect them from any physical hits, burning most projectiles to ashes and melting metal if it ever came close. Being in close proximity with the Flameform armor would also burn enemies the longer they stayed in range. Mex stayed unarmored herself, instead reforming her ripped black dress. Keeping up three Flameforms was tiring enough as it was..
"Seek."
She ran a finger along Raven's blade and swung, unleashing the fiery volley of projectiles that was Red Riot. The projectiles found their marks easily in the swarm of goblins that continued to pour out of the forest. Mex glanced at Sort.
"Let's clean them out.."
Mex grinned as she swung her scythe at Sort, then shifted mid-swing again, reappearing next to a trio of goblins advancing on the group. Ravenous sang murder as three headless bodies toppled to the bloody dirt.

The goblins backed away from the pool group. Snarling and growling at the fiery forms. Then a old looking goblin came forth, a large staff in his hands. He growled out menacingly as he lowered the staff and a large blast of ice magic hit everyone. The fire armor protected them, but it is now severely weakened. The goblin soldiers then raised their weapons and they all began to glow a light blue and ice mist could be seen emanating from them. The goblin Shaman growled out once more and the goblins charged. Sort fired several more arrows into the horde as he shouted.
"Shit! Everyone back to camp!"
