Alicia simply kept sleeping.. Eventually turning around and having a leg or an arm over Reaper more than once.. At the moment she had her back against Reaper, breathing quite softly as she had cuddled with him in her sleep..

Kaythleen's hand gave Jon's own a soft squeeze before she eventually settled her sight on Jon.. Smiling sleepily..

''Q-Quite.. B-Better.. I-I think.. M-My arms aren't.. A-As sore a-as before..'' She spoke calmly and gently, completely oblivious to the fact that they were holding hands.

Hearing that Kath's arms are at least improving helps to ease Jon's mind a little. It seems that his efforts to aid her recovery are actually working."I'm glad to hear that, Kath...though, there's something I have to tell you..." Jon hesitates for a moment, piecing together how he's going to explain the situation without revealing anything classified. That considered, it might be best if he tells her whatever truths he can...the alternative of sugar-coating the scenario wouldn't be fair to her, certainly not at this point...

"Well, as you may have guessed by now...I'm no simple arcade-gamer. Truth be told, I've had a lot of real-life battles as well as virtual ones...I can't reveal everything about my lines of work, but they're very dangerous...and soon, I'll be heading for another one. I don't know what I may face therein...to be fair, my odds of survival are 50/50, at best...

...but it's something I chose to do...something I need to do. That thing we saw back at Pilon Dome was just the beginning...and if I just sit around in my safe little hidey-hole and do nothing, they'll tear everything to shreds. I've seen the tragedy of war first-hand, time and again, and I can't just stand by and let it happen here. I'm grateful that I could save you through my efforts...and if the work I'm signing up for can save more people from the casualty list, then I'm all in. In return, I ask only one thing of you..." With that said, Jon looks Kath right in the eyes, and gives her what may be the last words she ever hears from him:

"Whatever happens, never give up. Promise me that, okay?" Jon's eyes glance downward and narrow a bit. "I've been in plenty of scenarios, where giving up seemed like the best option, if not the only one...but I never did. I've pressed on through each of those situations, and have come out stronger because of it. If you're content with running a small arcade shop, you can do that...

If, however, you miss the old days of competing in tourneys, I say that you have every right to go back, once you recover. So what if NG_Daigo beat you? So what if you got knocked down? If you want to get back up, go ahead and get back up. Your life is yours to live, and if people want to get in the way of that, why let them?" Jon's speaking from the bottom of his heart on this one. If this is the last time she ever sees him, then he wants to make sure she gets all he can offer out of it. To him, the ideology of "never say die" is the core element of humanity; the drive to press onward, become everything we want to be and more, and to exceed our limits every time they press against us. Knowing the infamous "Star Falls to Daigo" news story from the tourneys, he saw it as the best way to illustrate his point. All that's left now is for Kath to accept his words.

"So never give up, okay? Promise?" He looks back up with a friendly smile, trying to relieve some of the tension that he may have stressed up to now. He still has a few minutes until he needs to leave...but when he does, he wants to see Kath have a smile when he sees her last.

Kaythleen didn't seem to have blinked for the entire time Jon had been talking.. Getting a bit teary from it, besides the fact that she was holding his hand with both of her hands by now, seeming to have let a bright smile into view.. The reaction to Jon's words in her mind would remain a mystery for ever, but the fact that Kaythleen had, effectively.. Leaned forward to kiss Jon, was quite open to anyone's view..

''Promise..'' She whispered while finishing what was a minute-long intimate kiss.

"Well..." Adrianna paused for a second. A flare of anger surged up within her, but she eventually came to terms with having nothing substantial to say. "That's fine. I've shared rooms before." she finally said after a moment of consideration. Despite all of this, she wasn't exactly brimming with joy about being tossed out of the fight against those... things like she had. If she had a choice and a means, she'd certainly be back on the front lines shooting at everything that moved!

She followed Hawk out of the armory, looking around lazily.

"Really?" Ty asks. He doesn't think he'd met any Earthborn people before. "What's that like?" while he asks that, he takes a look at the sensor. The rocking is disturbing him and he hopes that nothing is too horribly wrong with the thing.

Jon blushes and his eyes widen when Kath leans in to kiss him, for a whole minute, no less. It's true that Sue was the girl he had been with for so long...but there's something about this moment, and about Kath herself...something comforting, and pleasant. Against what his better judgment might say, he lets the kiss proceed for the full minute it lasts.

When the kiss is finished, and their lips get a bit more breathing room, Jon still has a bit of his blush remaining. After getting his mind back on track, he looks down at the clock on his PDA, narrows his eyes with a hint of disappointment, and says: "Well...it seems about that time..." His voice carries some clear reluctance as he says that. "Despite what the odds say, try not to lose sleep over it. I'm not going to just go dying haphazardly; wouldn't be fair to anyone if I did. I have every intent to come out of it alive, so please, just try to relax...and if you want to reach me, just send a text message to this number..." He gives her the instant-messaging ID number of his PDA... "...and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

With that said, Jon slowly rises to his feet, his hands taking a little while to leave Kath's grasp, indicating that a part of him still doesn't want to leave...but if he does stay here, and ignores his call to action, then this whole voyage would have been for nothing. "Thank you, Kath...I've felt happier in the past few hours with you than I have ever before..." His next words bear a lot of weight for him, but they're words that, to him, need to be said: "I promise you, I'll return safely...until then, we can keep in touch over IM, okay?" That last part is mainly a way to try and relieve the worry Kath likely feels right now; for all he knows, he may have to turn in his PDA once he joins up with the recruiter...well, at least those monsters from the dome haven't pursued him to the ship...

Reaper would find himself asleep as he'd let his troubles wash away.. His last sights would be having Alicia snuggling her back against his chest, her whole body trying to find comfort and company at his side.. However, while sleeping might have been easy.. Waking up might be a whole different story..

Kaythleen reached up for the neck of Jon's top, softly tugging on it before bringing his face down on him again and giving him a more warm kiss than before.. It seemed she was growing to like Jon..

''Yes.. Over IM.. ~Oh, get over here Jon..'' She whispered before pulling Jon in for another kiss.

Hawk seemed to have hidden a smile by replacing it with a frown, or it could have been Adrianna's imagination.. Until he began to walk towards a couple of stairs, turning around with an eyebrow raised..

''Is the almighty queen going to take her time to come up the stairs?'' He said while chuckling, his intentions being mostly of mockery or to his own delight.

For a time, Jon's unsure of how to handle this situation, and blushes even deeper than before on the second kiss. By the time they're on the third kiss, he's more into it than earlier, his hands holding hers just a little tighter as they do so. Thoughts of Sue have passed out of his mind, at least for the time being, and thoughts of Kath fill those spaces in his mind, and then some. She's the only thing on his mind right now, and he's enjoying this time with her to the fullest that he can.

Granted, this may all backfire at some point, due to karma or otherwise...but Jon can't even be bothered to think of that right now. Kath, the sweet taste of her lips, and the bliss of the moment, are all he can think of at this point.

Reaper would find himself half-awake.. An arm protectively wrapped around Alicia while his crotch was pressed against her behind.. He would fall back asleep, dreaming of any sorts he could think of..

The impact.. Would arrive in ten seconds, however.. The moment of the impact left the escape pod's inhabitants unconscious by the force of the impact, and the cracks on the walls of the pod.. Even Blanc would be 'unconscious', although it was more due to the fact that the back of her head had banged quite dangerously against the wall behind her..

Kaythleen's kiss would seem to not have an end, enjoying the feeling of his hands on hers as she closed her eyes.. Giving into the kiss while meddling with his tongue, with her own.. It seemed she had lost herself to joy and blissfulness..

Adrianna rolled her eyes again as she followed Hawk. She didn't have much of a like for jokes made at her expense. They were harmless, mostly, but they wore on her nerves.

"I can't, if your ass is in the way." she said flippantly, climbing up and shoving him gently out of her path.

Hawk seemed offended, but he was mostly acting.. As he looked up at Adrianna's eyes and then her behind as he smirked and walked up to her; a hand on one of her butt cheeks..

''Honestly, if anyone is in my way; it's your butt, Miss Adrianna.'' He said before patting her right butt cheek once, shortly before hurrying up on the way up the stairs before Adrianna got a hold of him and dashed towards the right hallway.

Reaper hugs Alicia, and then falls back to sleep. Still hoping she won't kick his ass.

Adrianna slapped his hand away defensively. She was okay with a little kidding around, but nobody touched her unless they wanted a broken arm.

"I'm gonna break your fuckin' arm if you do that again." Adrianna said. She wasn't going to pardon him from her wrath just because he had saved her a long walk in the cold.

Reaper fell back asleep.. Hugging Alicia as it seemed her sleeping form approved of his warm embrace.. However, he'd soon forget where he currently was before seemingly appearing in some kind of apartment.. Nicely furnished and all.. There seemed to be someone in the bathroom and he was sitting on a couch in the living room..

Hawk seemed to be chuckling himself to death, smiling at himself as he enjoyed the petty threats Adrianna gave.. He would stop at a door and have his eyes and thumbs scanned before heading inside.. The door would remain open for a couple of seconds before it would close though..

Jon, too, is absorbed into the bliss of their intimate kissing. Even when Kath's tongue darts into his mouth and starts doing the tango with his own, he doesn't mind; the wondrous joy of their intimacy is all he can think about. Chances are that him and Kath could kiss for hours, and he'd only stop if he passed out from a lack of oxygen.

Kaythleen kept kissing Jon for a good while.. As their lips kept stumbling into each other, their tongues swirling together as they'd explore themselves.. It would seem Kath would stop after what had seemed fifteen minutes of passionately kissing, blushing deeply before giving Jon's cheeks both warm; wet kisses..

''I-I've distracted you far too long.. I-I don't want you to be late.. P-Please.. R-Return safely to me, Jon.. Please..'' She whispered before closing her eyes and giving him a soft peck on the lips before leaning against the bed and eyeing him with a smile.

Reaper can see that the bathroom's door is closed.. But there seems to be someone inside, taking a shower probably by the sounds of the dropping water and a soothing tune sang by the figure inside..
