"That was my intention." she says lightning up to him after getting such a compliment though it was hidden in the form of an insult. "He couldn't have me within out getting in the cage first. Don't underestimate the power of a monk, being without a weapon is what I'm used to in a fight." she says tugging at the rags covering her breasts "Though I'm not such a fan of these, I am going to find my clothes before I leave this place." I say looking back at the man she adds "You don't have a collar have you arrived the same way I have?"

Maxwell gives the girl a wan smile, "Not quite. Yes, I was captured. Quite some time ago, in fact, but they dare not enslave me. I already belong to a higher being and serve her. Instead I provide my healing services and they leave me alone." A frown mars his expression as he continues speaking with some venom in his voice, "I make sure their products are in good shape before they are shipped off to market. And I fix the ones they were too rough with, or lost their tempers on.", he looks up at the exotic beauty, "Were this day meant to be like all the others I feel certain you would be under my care. Do not underestimate these men. I have tended to those stronger than you."

As quick as it had come the burst of wind was gone and all was quiet. Her cell mates stirred at the disturbance as well asking for an explanation. "I don't know. I've been waiting forever for that lazy guard to turn up." Her attention was finally called to an elf standing nearby. Her hands squeezed at the bars assuming the guard had finally showed up, but she soon realized that wasn't it. The guard wouldn't be so cautious about getting a prisoner's attention like that. "You looking for an escape partner?"

"So you work for them? Does that mean you have keys to the cells, and maybe where my clothes went?" I ask as I press my self completely against the bars trying to see if he has any keys on him.

Max shakes his head. "Unfortunately not. I am typically locked away with the other slaves at the end of the day. But today's events have afforded me the chance to escape so I have been using magic to unlock the doors. My reserves are low, though, and some strange event has dried up the magic in this area. As such I must rest to refill my reserves before attempting another spell."

He studies the girls for a moment. Those rags she's wearing are bound to rip from being pressed against those bars. "While I understand your eagerness to leave might I suggest you temper your enthusiasm a bit before that flimsy garment breaks loose and gives us all a show?", he says lightly with the hint of an amused smile.

She looks down at her breasts and slightly pushes back a bit. "I could care less about these, the second i get my own clothes back i'm tearing them off, I don't care who is in the room with me. These rags simply wont do, I feel like im losing my pride every second I have them on." she then adjusts them pulling them forward and up to fit them back into place, though when she pulled them forward her nipples became visible for just a moment if you happened to be low to the ground, say sitting, as well as plenty of under boob. "anyways, this magic happening, do you know where it has occurred from?"

"And that's what they want.", Maxwell explains as she adjusts the rags. He shows no visible reaction at her brief exposure having seen more naked flesh than the bandits due to his profession. "No pride and no dignity. It's part of the process to break you."

In response to her question he answers, "No, I do not. I wouldn't have even noticed it were I not in meditation. This is why I believe the bandits do not know. If they did they would be scrambling to get the suppression magic in the walls back. It will soon be chaos in here."

"Well then this seems like an opportune time to escape does it not?" she says grinning at you "Do you not agree?"

Maxwell nods his head in agreement. "That it is, but the lack of ambient magic in the area makes this a painfully slow process. As we are speaking I'm slowly refilling my reserves. Try as I might I have not found a way to draw magic from an empty well any faster. And there are no other sources I know of that I can draw from.", Maxwell explains quietly.

"Talking with you, though, brings a welcome distraction while we wait.", he says with a smile.

"Well I am glad I can be of some use from within this case" I say returning the smile "is there any way I can help you speed up your return of magic?" I ask hoping I could aid in his recovery to quicken our escape.

Auri eyed the Gnoll curiously, "It seems we could be of use to one another, though for me to help you we'll need to find a way to get you out of there. I haven't run across anyone else yet, there might be some unattended keys somewhere." The elf nibbles her thumbnail in thought recalling what might have been a storage room back the way she came. "Actually there is some. ." Her words trail off as she lowers her voice, elongated ears twitching in surprise as she nearly jumps at the sudden approaching footsteps to her side, quick to move into a defensive stance she raises her hand in a warding motion at the unidentified figure. "Come no closer. Who are you?" she questions them. Inspecting them from the distance while they respond, hopefully not being attacked on sight whether it was a guard or not.

Aelius notices nkw that the shadowy figure is an elf. The way she was talking, and the fact she was still here, made the knight hope that she was not a bandit. She seemed dangerous enough. He answered her question with his most serious voice. He had to make a good first impression. Heavens above, he would be less nervous about talking to her if he had his armour and his sword. "I am Aelius Feralian. Who are you elf?" That sounded a but rude, so he added: "Are you in need of help?"

Vella watched from the shadows, listening carefully with great interest. Unattended keys... the elf seemed to know some things that could be very useful. Vella began considering perhaps dropping down and introducing herself in hopes of getting the spellsword to help her. However she froze, hearing her call out, fearing she had been detected. However she noticed that the spellsword was facing someone else on the ground and relaxed, watching curiously as yet another figure approached. Someone else that didn't seem to be a guard. Seriously, who was in charge of the security of this place?

"At this moment, there is nothing to be done that can speed up the process. But others can offer me use of their magic.", Maxwell explains,"But it can be unpleasant."

Eliza listened to the elf. It seemed she needed help getting out too. It would be quite fortunate if they only had a way of getting her out of this cell. "I've not seen the guard since I came too, so I can't be much help with that." Suddenly another person approached and offered his help. How poorly watched was this place? It would be a relief if it didn't leave her stuck in a cage despite how easy it apparently was to just walk the halls like you owned the place. With a little more ire than she intended and not caring which one answered Eliza turned back to her cell mates. "You, what good for nothing lay about is supposed to be guarding us!"

The elf smiles amicably after Aelius introduces himself, a tingle of relief that he didn't seem to pose any immediate threat. Though tempted to just accept the aid of this man and focus on escaping, Auri made a safe wager that with this many locked up, the guards they may run into will not be few.
"Auri." she introduces herself with a hand raised to her chest in a slight bow.
"That depends. It appears we've run into each other in the most fortunate time and place, I assume you are much like our friend over here, imprisoned yet fortunate enough to have escape the brand the others have." She nodded affirmingly to herself, her assumptions based on the similar attire Aelius had to the some of the other slaves.
"Perhaps we can all be of use to one another." she suggests, brandishing her spear lightly.
"With the current lack of alarm we may have a chance to get you also armed and find a way to bust this one out of here." She motions to the Gnoll within the cell next to her.

Aelius nodded at the elf. She was making sense, if what his former cell mate said was true, than it was best to gather all the people who are not branded a slave and get out of here. Secondary objective: Get some proper equipment. His eyes wandered off to the elf's spear in envy. ''How did you end up with a weapon Auri?'' he asks, ''I got out of my cell with the help of a beastman who just broke the door, but he refused to leave his cell, as he was already branded and collared.'' Aelius looked down sadly, he only knew him for a few minutes but he got attached to him.

Auri was glad to see the he was reasonable.
"Actually I'm not certain how I ended up here, I vaguely recall exploring some ruins with a few colleagues of mine, but next thing I knew I woke up here. Fortunately outside any of the cells." She replies impishly.
"I'm grateful for his selflessness." she nods understandably. "I doubt any of use here will be able to match such a feat of strength, though if I'm right, it looked like I passed some sort of storage room while I was trying to figure out where I was. Perhaps we might find either the keys we need or something to aid us in our search for them." Auri glances over her shoulder cautiously, the calmness of this dungeon starting to make the hairs on the back of her neck stand.

Aelius nodded in response, he had almost forgotten that he was in a prison, but then he glanced at the cell next to him. ''Let us then head for that room and get our friend here out of here. Then we'll see from there. Lead the way Auri'' He seemed much more cheerful now that there was a plan.

Seeing her cell mates cower at her shout rather than answer her Eliza tries to calm herself before turning back to the two outside her cell. "They grabbed my caravan just outside of Iriko though I'm not certain how long ago that was. I hope you'll have luck finding a way to get me out of here."

Turning back to the three in her cell she scratched her head abashedly. "Sorry about the yelling. It's been a bit of a trying day. Is there anything you could tell me about our captures?"
